    Yeah it doesn't look the best and I can't move around the sandbox Tooo fast or I get a little loading freeze, but I'm expecting that playing on xbox one x. Amazing game play, great story, choices actually matter, original game with breathtaking, exciting setting. Not many games like this, especially released in the last decade. Feels like the new Skyrim in terms of scope.     I have watched about 30h of game-play on youtube, and I decided that want it. The best story i have ever seen in a video game. It's good movie or book level.

    This game is perfect . Its not true that bugs are common . I never played game with that great story and mechanics . And i dont have a good pc but game is very well optimized

    The best game I have ever played from the perspective of the main campaign and the side quest and gigs. With 40 Hours of gameplay, this game has taken a cyberpunk backdrop and crafted truly engaging human stories in slums and the boonies. When thought of as an on-rails RPG, you understand what the game is trying to be; a vector for telling personal stories that are genuinely entertaining.The best game I have ever played from the perspective of the main campaign and the side quest and gigs. With 40 Hours of gameplay, this game has taken a cyberpunk backdrop and crafted truly engaging human stories in slums and the boonies. When thought of as an on-rails RPG, you understand what the game is trying to be; a vector for telling personal stories that are genuinely entertaining.     game is actually pretty damn good, yet it is short and it is about 35 hours story mode, with side story it could go to 50 hours and if you really squeeze the game it can go to 70 hours, this 70 hours is full of action, story, and quality. İf you don't have a monster pc i don't recommend to play it right now because it really is buggy yet there are a lot of updates coming for it, best gamegame is actually pretty damn good, yet it is short and it is about 35 hours story mode, with side story it could go to 50 hours and if you really squeeze the game it can go to 70 hours, this 70 hours is full of action, story, and quality.     Even with the bugs and bad launch. I still believe this has the bones to be a masterpiece. 70 hours in and I love the experience.

    Let's start by saying that this game isn't perfect. There are bugs and a few glitches for sure but, at least for me, there hasn't been any game breaking bugs or glitches. I'm playing on a mid-range PC and the game so far has been an absolute blast!

    The story and quests are extremely engaging and the characters are well developed and feel real. I'm loving the interactions between V and    Let's start by saying that this game isn't perfect. There are bugs and a few glitches for sure but, at least for me, there hasn't been any game breaking bugs or glitches. I'm playing on a mid-range PC and the game so far has been an absolute blast!

    The story and quests are extremely engaging and the characters are well developed and feel real. I'm loving the interactions between V and Johnny and I love how your life path gives you different options when dealing with the various NPCs around the city. Sometimes you get different insight options, other times you get options for how to move a quest forward.

    I also really like the gun play and mod systems and cyberware systems. This is really where the game shines. You can pick the kind of weapon you want to use, pick your stats to compliment that choice and then enhance your abilities with the various cyberware options available to make yourself into a true force to be reckoned with. The other thing I like is the upgrade system. If you find a gun early on that you really like, you can upgrade it as you level to keep even low level guns and gear relevant to use as you go up in levels.

    All this being said, like I said at the beginning, there are bugs and glitches. The worst I've seen so far was an NPC that got stuck in an elevator and a few NPCs that got stuck in some stairs. Neither of these were game breaking for me and none of the other bugs I've seen, mostly visual glitches like looking in the mirror and seeing my character as bald instead of having hair, have been game breaking as well.

    Overall, the game is really amazing and looks really good and I do recommend it to anyone playing on PC. If you're on console, I still recommend playing the game, but waiting until the patches in January and February come out that are supposed to fix the console problems.    … Expand

    2) story, is great 3) gunplay and combat in general 4) the city, it's really beautiful like nothing else on an RPG The bad are bugs (which are mostly corrected as of now) and lackluster AI (do not expect Rockstar quality here, this is the first CDPR game in a modern city). Still a 10/10 in my bood since the good things far surpass anything bad    The good:

    After grinning and bearing through the bugs, I slowly but surely fell in love with the characters, the gameplay and the Witcher 3 familiarity of the whole package. I can now see that there is a hugely impressive game underneath the dirty, misleading vale which has been cast over the Cyberpunk and CDPR name.

    That's actually one of the best RPG game i've ever played, if not the best. The plot presented in the game is brilliant, and the chhracters are expressive. It's true the game is a bit buggy, but I can forgive for what i got. I would like to point out that I play on medium expensive computer (gtx 1060) and I have no problems with performance and almost 100h in game.     It's by far the best open world RPG since Witcher 3. Great storytelling, fluid, fun and engaging combat. This game suffers though from the aggressive marketing done by CDPR. People were really expecting this to have all the best mechanics done by all the open world and RPG games so far and be better than all of those games at it, which is impossible and unrealistic. I think the lesson CDPRIt's by far the best open world RPG since Witcher 3. Great storytelling, fluid, fun and engaging combat. This game suffers though from the aggressive marketing done by CDPR. People were really expecting this to have all the best mechanics done by all the open world and RPG games so far and be better than all of those games at it, which is impossible and unrealistic.     Great game, with a very immersive world, great plot, characters. The graphics are also perfect for me. They have to improve AI (police, NPC behavior) but in my opinion, it deserves for 10

    It’s simple, Is the game what they promised to deliver? NO. Did it have content cut and you can see it? Yes

    But it’s still worth the price of admission (price of the game), its a fun game and while not deep enough to replay and spend years on it will be well worth the 50 Eur or whatever it costs in your region. More than another dinner for two for the same price

    From me, the game is great. It was really an experience that transported me to the world of the future in which I spent and lived dozens hours. The game is really immersive from a first person point of view, especially the atmosphere and the design of how everything looks, feels and sounds incredible. The characters in the game are great, they are from different backgrounds, with their own past and problems. They are also greatly dubbed and memorable, I really developed a relationship with some of them. Same the music, it can evoke an action mega blast, tension and emotions. As for how the game is played, it is probably nothing special but it is comfortable to control and it is very diverse in what you can use as means of transport, weapons and hacking skills. I'm more for the atmosphere and immersion in the world and the story. If you like that stuff also, I can only recommend the game. It's a damn cool experience choomba! What's going on around the game is another matter. I enjoyed the game a lot but some people don't enjoy it the way they should. Mainly the owners of the "old gen" console. Even the PC version has problems and sometimes it can spoil the experience a bit in some situations. But that can be found in all games. For those who are not in rush, I might advise you to wait a while, because it really seems that some things in the game are unfinished. The developers plan to continue working on and improving the game, so it may be worth to wait some time and having the first experience in the best possible way. I will personally return to the game in a year to play it again and I am really curious how it will change in that time.… Expand

What i liked: story, fight mechanics and dynamic, leveling system, music, map/city design. Game doesnt have good ai, cop mechanics, traffic isnt great, but i was enjoying driving - arcade and easy, so you have time to look around .     Really enjoyed this game. I thought the story was fun and very interesting. Definetely a memorable story. The gameplay was good for the most part. I wish they included more weapons that do different things and different types of quickhacks. At times, it just felt like I was going mission to mission guns blazing without really much of any variety. The music is fantastic for this game. BugsReally enjoyed this game.     Mixed feelings: great story and interesting heroes, mad optimization at the same time. Of course some work is required. Will be waiting for patches. Thanks to CDPR for that rpg with good storytelling without any in game transactions.

    It sure is very buggy, but the game itself is just amazing! This is a very unique experience, every fan of cyberpunk or RPG or FPS should try this game! Quests are absolutely grate, both main and sub-quests!

    The game is awesome overall, so much details in textures and all, the cinematics are awesome and the way you can customize your player is fun. No issues found at all. The only time it crashed was because I had an VRAM overclock way to high by mistake. All three clases has their own different story and that makes the game have more ways to enjoy.     Had some small minor visual bug, but really nothing too bad. The game looks incredible, the writing, the dialogs, the charachters, everything feels and play and flows so well. Still mad about the fps decision, i would have loved a third person rpg... except that nothing too bad... The people walking in the city are jut dead, that's the worst thing for me.

    Here in cyberpunk everything seems dead, you can't talk to anyone, just some **** one liners and that's it, you can't interact with them, fight them, push them, rob them, nothing... I know that by the end of the game after finishing all the quest, i'll have nothing to do, and that's a shame.    … Expand

    I love it. It is not my favorite game ever, but it's among them. Yeah, it has bugs, but I'm confident CDPR will resolve them and the game will be a polished diamond and not only a raw diamond.

    It’s a common thing for any game to experience it’s share of hardships during its launch even till it’s first year but it’s performance and quality on the long run is what matters.     The game is not what devs wanted to present us at the beginning, so yes, if you're still living in 2015 and expect the game to be what you had been promised then, then it will disappoint you.

    A lot has been cut out, yet the initial intentions were in fact gigantic and, I guess, the main reason I admire the game so much is that I've never believed they could achieve that in the first place, and they still delivered a lot. And I thought that all the chip-stuff would be too complicated and tedious and won't work, and yet, CDPR delivered, and it JUST WORKS (sort of. It's still somewhat complicated, but totally playable).
    And it is still a great game. Unpolished - yes (and yet for PC it was pretty much satisfactory from the day one - much better then TES and later Battlefield series on their release). But the game is great, and, what matters the most, it IS the "new Deus Ex" for the new generation of gamers. In general, gameplay outmatches or at least smoothly accommodates everything that has been done in this direction, and CDPR have actually delivered the true NEW GAME of immersive sim genre.
    The UI is still somewhat flawed tho. For example, they really had to dig more into GTA's map. But that's not something you cannot get used to. Except for turns. Damn turns. They really should zoom out the map or angle it.

    A lot of people complain that the game is not optimized properly. Yet they forget that for HL2 PCs from 2000 were too old, for Oblivion PCs from 2002 were too old, and for Cyberpunk it's only 2013-2014. 7 years old PCs can run Cyberpunk smoothly (on low settings tho), instead of 2-4 years old, as it was for games that were coming out in early 00's. And Activision games? CoD Warzone makes my PC burn on low settings, while I play Cyberpunk smoothly on high settings, while it's Cyberpunk what is actually the nextgen.
    And, I guess, the problem is that there were no games since the start of 2017. No, really. RDR2, SW Jedy Fallen Order, FarCry 5 and New dawn,.. Control? That's all, except for factory-stamped CoD and Assassins. People just got loosen up by indie games and forgot that serious major new games require serious hardware. So, for short: STFU and upgrade your PC. You only need like 2015's hardware with 16GB RAM and a videocard that has 6+ GB VRAM to run Cyberpunk absolutely smoothly, and you can get it for roughly $500 (or $1k, if you'd like to buy all new parts, which is exactly the cost of a new PC in early 00's, heh).

    Yet, I must say, that absolutely stupid people mob AI makes the game quite... disbalanced. It's like you live in a braindead city. Or in a simulation. And I do hope that CDPR would change that with some of their patches.
    So, for me, with all the bugs and stupid AI and scripted scenes, it's solid 8/10. Probably it could've been 6, but I'm not just a regular pew-pew-gamer and I see the technical side of the game, thus I see the enormous effort. And considering all the flame on the internet, and here in reviews, I think that my duty is to balance the score with a ten.    … Expand

    The game is absolutelly fabulous. Still some bugs, but hey man - enter the night city and you will be amazed. It's such a complex creation that no wonder there might be some small issues. CD Project created the world that will last for years. Highly recommended - best Christmas gift in 2020.

    It’s obvious CDPR have struggled with optimisation, personally I don’t think it should have been released on last gen consoles. The game has always been too ambitious and demanding for old hardware (you can tell from just looking at the early footage) and their attempt to get this working on old consoles is admirable but in the end has resulted in the majority of negative PR.

    So yes this review is for next gen and PC, and with that in mind, this game is fantastic. If you get over the initial hype and just play this for what it is, a game, you’ll realise it has a rich deep story with a seemingly endless amount of content.

    I feel people have to experience this as it was intended to truly appreciate it, and I feel the game has not been out long enough for all these negative reviews to be a true reflection of this next gen masterclass.    … Expand

Yes it has the odd bug here and there but I am yet to experience anything more than a minor inconvenience. The graphics are immense and the city feels alive and truly immersive.

    I'm playing on GeForce NOW with Ray Tracing enabled and graphics is great. I'm currently at 14h and didn't saw any significant bugs.
    Story is great, you can decide what your pace is, you can explore city, take side missions, ride a car, a bike at night or day. Great atmosphere especially at night.

    There are bugs, but it is not what CDPR cannot fix.
    Recommend to play on PC, not PS4.

    CDPR does have talent because objectively Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game. I mean it is something special. The world is fantastic, the story is amazing, the combat it deep and fun, and customization options are deep, and the characters are engaging. In terms of raw core mechanics, it stands as one of the greatest RPGs ever made. But on consoles, this thing is a mess- a serious mess. We all need to kinda accept a few things as reality.

    1. It will be patched soon. CDPR actually patched Witcher 3 a total of 23 times. Skyrim by comparison got 9 patches. I have no doubt the bugs and issues will be resolved by January.
    2. The game will never look better. That sucks I know but the reality is all that detail comes at a cost. The CPU of the PS4/Xbox One cannot handle this game. It was made to run on next-gen systems because the 7-year-old PS4 just can't do it no matter how hard you try. To make the game functional it has to look like it looks
    3. CDPR is not going to invest money and time into a dying console. They will make it functional and smooth but they are not spending 2 years dumping in millions to make a game look perfect on a console that won't be around in a year.

    Even on PS4 the game is good. If you are super visual- like you HAVE to have games that look and feel perfect then this game is not for you. If you can look past some jank and a fair appearance there is an insane amount of fun to be had here.    … Expand

The narrative and the lovable characters in Cyberpunk 2077 are so strong in my opinion, that they alone and the emotional rollercoaster you ride through in your journey in stunning Night City EASILY make Cyberpunk 2077, even in it's current sorry state, a delightful experience.

    I eagerly await for any future updates, patches, fixes and expansions from CDPR. So buy this in a year if you haven't already and can't, understandably, tolerate the technical issues.    … Expand

The game has a lot of technical problems at the start, but this is only the beginning, all this will be fixed with patches. To rate the game at 0 is incredible stupidity.

I can't believe I have to write that, but it's true. Is there a brilliant game lying under all these bugs? No. Even if it were perfect and bug free this game is not over an 8/10. Why? Read on.

I can't believe I have to write that, but it's true. Is there a brilliant game lying under all these bugs? No. Even if it were perfect and bug free this game is not over an 8/10. Why? Read on.

    The gameplay systems on offer are completely unbalanced, broken, and appear to be barely playtested. You can combine stat bonus using both multipliers and percentages in infinite loops, completely breaking the damage and leveling curve. You can, at very near the beginning of the game, create a pistol with the damage of a nuclear missile. Stealth is very difficult in the early game, and near impossible. You can maybe stealth around a couple of guys, but then everyone ends up alerted and there is no reset for that to go back into cover or lose them. In the late game, stealth becomes so easy, you can just blind everyone and walk past them. There is no middle ground.

    Crafting is utterly useless, as they basically created a looter-shooter, not a RPG. You are always just using whatever gun has the highest stats, and whatever you pickup is always more powerful than anything you can craft. The currency is completely unbalanced. Everything cool in this game isn't really purchasable until there is no time left to actually use any of it. Stat checks throughout the game are generally so low, that even min-maxing a character will result in you passing them with your lowest spec'd stats. Half of this game you are driving around, and the driving is the worst in any open world game I have ever seen. It's so bad you will either laugh or cry your way through the game, every time you get in a vehicle.

    Then we get to the story. Yeah, there are some good story beats, interesting twists, but the payoff in any of the endings (I've seen them all, thanks to YouTube), feel very weak. Impossible for me to give detail without spoiling it, so I won't. Only to say that, Keanu is just wrongly cast in this as a really unlikable anti-hero that just wants to watch the world burn. At the end of the game, everything feels so pointless, like you only ever had the illusion of control throughout the experience. "It's about the journey, not the end" I hear you saying. For the time you spend with this game, much of it is very unexciting with your typical fetch quests for characters you don't care about. There are one or two standouts, and some great performances on display, but everyone in this world is just horrible, and that seems to be the point.

    The real thing that rubs me wrong is just the state that this was released in. Playing through this game right now is an exercise in futility. I had to reload my saves so many times for stupid, stupid bugs. Things like broken missions, gun spec pop-ups stuck on the screen, unkillable enemies, and experienced 9 crashes across my playthrough. Performance on my 2070 Super, which should be no slouch is 1440p is just unbearable, I constantly saw drops below 30 fps when roaming, and never could hit 60 locked in any area of the game. I'm all for ambition, but you can't build a game for PCs and video cards that aren't even out yet. Your base experience needs to at least be playable.

    People point to Witcher 3 having bugs, and how CDPR was so dedicated to fixing it. This is very, very different. Witcher 3 was NOTHING like this on launch. This game is in an unplayable state that most Early Access games exceed. If you dip your toe in the water, keep that refund timer running, because I do think you will refund this game, as many are. Please don't buy this game right now, wait for the developer to at least patch it to a level that lets you experience it as it was intended. This is absolutely a Fallout 76 / Anthem / No Man's Sky moment, and it is very sad to see that from a well respected developer. My, how the mighty have fallen.    … Expand

    31 hours of gaming are behind me, impressions are great. NightCity is huge, overwhelming and well designed.

    Pros:
    - city
    - gunplay
    - surprisingly good driving mechanics (with dualshock4)
    - story
    - stealth mechanics
    - sound
    - amazing graphics

    Cons:
    - errors in physics
    - inventory interface

    Fantastic Game on my series x. One of the best looking and Most immersive citys ever. Honestly can't wait to replay ist when the next Gen Update ist Out.

    First of all I must say that I didn't want from this game to be another GTAV, to bring revolution into video games and other miracles. I just wanted the deep story that will surprise me and move me. I wanted a good writing that doesn't feel like written by someone who never read a book in a whole live. I wanted three-dimensional characters who can't be described in just one or two sentences. I got all of it plus amazing graphic, stunning city and surprisingly fun gameplay. The story could be a little longer (like in Witcher 3) and your choices could be more meaningfull but it's still one of the best stories I ever experienced. I am putting this game on one shelf with whole Witcher trilogy, RDR2 and Hellblade as one of the best written, most mature games ever.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
