Русская озвучка восхитительна, сюжет и побочные задания интересные, персонажи классно раскрыты, но вот техническая сторона игры просто ужас, максимально сырой продукт, и из-за своей сырости портит весь геймплей.

This game can be aptly described in just one phrase: The "allusion of immersion" defines this game. Night City appears deep and lifeful, so long as you don't try to interact with any of the NPCs. Night City appears deep and lifeful, so long as you don't try to interact with any of the NPCs. The police appear around the city in general gameplay, but try to fight them and they turn into omnipotent, teleporting deities that just spawn behind you in ever greater numbers until you're dead. The NPC shopkeepers don't have any interactions available, don't expect to be buying and eating noodles from a street vender unless they're explicitly marked on the map. In essence, this game takes the NPC AI from the Witcher 3 and transposes it into a Cyberpunk world. Walking, talking, skin-deep robots that have no interactions beyond "press F to say a one-liner".

And don't expect much more from the enemy AI, either. Stealth is summed up as "stay out of their cone of vision, walk slowly, and hope that nobody notices you as that triggers *every single other enemy nearby* into a combat state". It's, again, skin-deep and barebones. Enemies don't try to flank you, they don't try to swarm you, they don't try to take any combat techniques more advanced than "sit behind cover and shoot if you have a gun, rush them if you have a melee weapon".

The combat is where things begin to improve, albeit only slightly. The gunplay offers a bit of variety, with the ability to choose between rifles, pistols, shotguns, and SMGs, all of which feel fairly unique and interesting to use. The "quickhacks" add another layer of interesting mechanics, allowing for an extra avenue of damage potential, alongside the intelligence they can provide. These systems overall mesh into an interesting feel, something that feels a bit like the Witcher 3's combat with its' variety of spells, weapons, and potions to use. And even if the cover system leaves a lot to be wanted, combat is fairly well-flehsed out and an interesting mechanic overall.

The story is where this game truly shines, though. In true CDPR fashion, there is a wide variety of interesting side encounters to be had, from crime-fighting missions to collection missions, to assassinations. While these may feel a bit samey after a while, they offer a way to become immersed in this world considering the absolute lack of outside worldsculpting, and give players ample opportunity to spend their time. The main story is well-written, with its outcomes being determined by the side quests you take, and gives the player the opportunity to apply their background and skills to allow for easier progression.

All taken in, Cyberpunk is a beautiful, if not skin-deep game essentially modeled on the Witcher 3's successes. The skill tree truly allow for a wide range of playstyles even beyond what the Witcher offered, and makes combat much more unique. But, the downright abysmal NPC AI and police interactions drag the immersive feel of this world outside missions *way* down, and given the lack of even basic shopkeeper interactions, can leave the world feeling empty and stale at times. I still have a lot of content to be worked through in the storyline, but I'm fearful this game will turn bland and empty after the story is complete in a way that other open-world games like Fallout, GTAV, and RDR2 manage to avoid. Overall, this game is well-suited to fans of other more shallow open world games, but leaves a lot to be desired for fans of more crafted open worlds like those found in Rockstar games.

The more I play the better it gets. In the end I must say, that this is a very good title to play, but it needs some serious development, improvments, AI mechanism, optimization. I can't give it more then 7 right now, even tho I'd like to give it a 10. Maybe in next few months.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Unfortunately Cyberpunk 2077 is not even close to being the 10/10 flawless masterpiece many of us wanted it to be and in it's current state it is for me a 7/10 that could be could eventually become an 8/10 or even a very weak 9/10.

    //////Minor spoilers below/////

    Things I like:
    -the story is great
-the world looks great and graphics are really good
    -the music is good
-the endings are really well done
-I personally find the gameplay loop addictive

    Things I dislike:
-the montage and time skip after the intro mission
-lack of some crucial quality of life features such as scopes displaying what kind of weapon they are for being ably to craft more then one item at a time
-the minimap is simply too zoomed in
-not being able to search in the shard ui making it a pain in the ass to read one in case you forget to open it after you loot it
-not being able to set what you armour looks like(I know it kinda breaks immersion to just change the appearance of you clothing but damn some permutations of different armor look horrible)
    -the phone system just sucks
-sometimes the game just forgets what you have done(example #1 padre introduces himself to you despite being shown in the montage you already have been acquinted #2 woodman somehow comes back to life like nothing happened)
-phantom cars(low res car shapes appear in the distance)
    -lack of AI

    Glitches:
    -sometimes ui elements get stuck
-inflating trees(I can't even comprehend this how the hell did this get past QA)
    -Disappearing pedestrians
-Mission objectives that are like vehicles and items can get stuck in walls making progressing impossible
-certain iconic weapons can't be removed from inventory(works on 2nd playthrough so it seems like it has been fixed)
-sometimes when you drop a body you are carrying the body randomly starts teleporting around basically alerting all enemies in the area
-fall damage(CDPR you'll never learn) sometimes you can jump off a 20 story building and live and sometimes you die from jumping over a barricade

Closing words: I don't who was in charge with development but they **** up big time.

Running on ultra 1080p vega 56 @ 45fps. Playable. The story and gameplay make up for the few bugs. It still feels unfinished. If this didn't have the CDPR or Cyberpunk lore behind it, no doubt a 5 out of 10. Given a 7 out of 10 also for the sheer scale of detail that went into the game.

As an RPG the game is great with tons of lore and side missions to test out different weapons / cyberware (tons of great options to choose from and I'm only 30 hours in). The story is interesting enough for character relations to be memorable but some long dialogue have me interested in spamming the skip button a few times. The game has a great sense of reward for exploring the beautiful world and I've come across tons of memorable npcs and weapons which I feel is essential for an RPG game. The replay ability is defiantly there and has me wondering what options/lore is available behind each career path. If you're a graphic snob I'd defiantly wait for next gen version (or get a PC) as it's not the best open world I've ever seen but it's very detailed and has you sucked in for hours looking around. My review Isn't based on glitches and bugs since I've had the fortunate chance to play on next gen but I feel bad for those who were lied to in marketing that this game would work on current gen. Based on what I've played I have faith they'll be able to come around on the major bugs of this game but people are really acting like this game is the 2020 version of No Mans Sky or Anthem. The game actually resembles what was offered and is a single player not bound by the budget they get from live service micro transactions or the online servers being populated. Every game has some issues at start just have patience. Expand

I tried everything possible and I feel like I'll be forced to start from scratch just to reach the end of my journey. Which is something I don't want to do, especially seeing how far I've progressed through the story. The only reason I've accumulated 95 hours is due to the side missions that I'm able to complete and even then, there are side missions that are bugged as well even when I've already completed them. I've even had one side mission go into a failed state despite completing it.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Got the Day 1 edition of the game from retail and played it on GOG with a mid-range PC (MSI Nightblade MI3).
    Positive:
    • Game did what it set out to do: create a rich and vibrant city and immersive story that will challenge the player's morality.
    • The game doesn't shy away from showing dark themes such as suicide, adultery, murder, etc.
    • There's a wide range of customization for players from ethnicity, gender, genitalia, apparel, makeup, cyberware and nails.
    • Amazing voice acting, characters, animations, and writing.

    Negative:
    • The game sacrificed content for creating a dynamic environment. CDPR managed to simulate the experience of living in the city in different districts including the over-population problem in them.
    • Bugs - animations, UI being cut off from the screen or simply not appearing, inescapable glitches
    • No consequences for actions, good and bad but it prevents replayability as players can simply load up another save to try another ending or mission and collect all their trophies in 1 play-through
    • No factions, V is simply a vessel for the player to mess around in Night City

    Final Verdict:
Short and Ambitious - I really enjoyed this game but felt that the main story was too short, I did not rush through dialogues nor side-quests, returning the player before the Point of no return after the endings (where all but 1, V survives) makes it evident that game planning post narrative was lackluster. There was so many opportunities to create a story without Johnny, it's possible to completely remove Johnny's input in certain situations, working and siding with different factions could've greatly added to the story, but instead V is a lone wolf that works with whoever with no consequences.
    • The game was too ambitious
    • Placed Keanu Reeves on a pedestal, maybe even spent majority of the game's budget and time for him (still love him though)
    • Cyberpunk should've been delayed at least a year
    • Other games still surpasses graphics
    • Fun gameplay
    • Worth buying for the experience
    • Looking forward to the updates and DLCs, maybe add more than 2 romanceable characters for each gender

Don't come to this game if you're looking for a well written story, complex choices that matter, or any of the things that were promised in the years leading up to release.

When it works, Cyberpunk is essentially a Borderlands type grind, but in a much prettier setting.

The A.I. might as well be lobotomized; that's how bad it is. But the gameplay loop can be fun and even thrilling at times thanks to some inventive mechanics (quickhacking) and visceral weapons (katanas). You also get a double jump perk later in the game that adds an unexpected level of verticality to exploring the city. Unfortunately, that's really all there is.

The story feels like it was written by a team of incel bound teenagers who got handed a hat full of edgy topics to choose from---shoehorned into an awkward, by the numbers, cyber anime plot: we get quests involving sex-trafficking and kidnapping, government corruption, betrayal, the metaphysical implications of becoming more and more dependent on machine and tech, murder for hire, insurance schemes etc. But Cyberpunk handles its adult centric material with the tact of a child, as all-around meh protagonist, V, offers up snark and more snark---no matter how serious the situation is. Tonally, the game is wildly inconsistent. That being said, it's impossible to take ANY of this seriously when your questgiver starts crashing through the geometry during a single malt diatribe, or when the person you were meant to kill in a side mission just disappears from the map entirely, or when a dialogue option for an important quest fails to appear without a series of work arounds and resets.

You will restart your save, and restart often. Cyberpunk is very fragile, and you can break its systems often without even trying.

Keanu didn't bring anything to the game for me either. He's so similar to V in tone and mood that it's almost like hearing the exact same Nihilistic shtick, but in stereo. I wanted to turn him off, but he's integral to the plot, so no can do on that.

Overall, I find it mind-baffling that anyone could give this game a score above an 8, even when it works. There's just not much here. The game even goes as far as to label the many cars you can buy as individual side-quests. In a game with horrendous driving mechanics (though 1st person on a motorcycle can be fun). That just goes to show how padded and unfinished Cyberpunk is. Even when everything's working, this is hardly the future of gaming. Adjust your expectations, and you might have some fun. Otherwise, you'll be wondering why this took over 7 years to make.

Let me start it off with with graphics. You need a PC in price of a Lambo to even enjoy it so better leave it that. But for real I played the game on my 1000euro Laptop that is used to gaming and it flopped. Game barely got 40fps on low with **** everything. Many graphical and badly loaded graphics, with you just cant put on weak pc. If two textures are overlapping each other i would rather say bad optimising/programming than weak pc. But the it didnt really was an issue bc...
City sucks. You come into Night City. You are amazed. You start wandering. You discover its a shell of a city. The thing i had my hopes so up just flopped like that. City itself is pretty but you would love to just do more there. I dont expect to enter every single doors in the game, but you should be able fe to rob some house a thug. To invade and kill someone as part of random quest. To steal something and so on. And yet there are barely none of those thing outside the main/side missions. No optional content like that to make you feel like you are making your way in the undergound of a night city.
Second issue for me was all bio-tech. I mean this should be integral part of a game in my opinion and it just falls flat and lets you boost numbers here and there. Simple example - there are now real benefits of Mantis blades. You buy it for a ton of money and they suck. You need to build whole tree for them to make it make sense. While in the real world you would buy them, 'cus they would automaticly boost your build with nececerry skills. They woud have fe some motors to make a powerfull enemey even from a weakling.
Next one is not enaugh "future" content. Yes you get braindance and bio-tech. But those are almost not integral to the gameplay. Hacking is nice addition but its not that nicely made in my opinion. The best kind of a future content for me was braindance itself and dolls brothel. It shows you this wicked ways the world coud go into. Oh and i should not forgett the corsairs...
Plot - its original. The biggest issue here is.... you get this feeling of the game suddenly quickening right after festival. You put 1 to 1 and you come to the conclusion that developer had no time whatsoever to do everything that he wanted for ever the reason. And that reflects in the endings... which i dont want to spoil so i will say are just not that for that kind of a game.

I could go on and on about the bad and good sides of the game.... But i feel like you can get the wrong idea here. Its not brilliant game but its still a good game with its problems. I think if the team would not come to the clearly many problems form time pressure to kinda small team the game would end up as a pearl and easy 10/10. Everyone and me is actually covering the game from what they wanted it to be, and not what it is, which is kinda a good review in a way, 'cuz everyone seen what this game could heve been putten right time and ppl into work. I am opting to weak 7 on it myself, as i enjoyed my time there and put 50 happy h in main and side content not doing everything.

Nothing much to positive to say about this except it's gorgeous, especially on a newer GFX card.

The game play is meh, coming from the witcher 3 i had high hopes. The world doesn't really seem to be alive like in witcher 3. Mostly just place holders. It's pretty much just mash buttons then next through meaningless dialogs different choices lead to the same outcome. I think

The map is very immersive and big, which I adore.
I talked about the glitches, but I would have to talk about it again.
It could be funny, but it could be game-breaking either.
I think most people will agree about the fact that the melee combat wasn't very fun.
The game was also way shorter than I initially thought it would be and the dialogues could be pretty unengaging at a times.

When I played right after release the sound was really broken. Many places didn't have background sounds at all and lost were muted. Like tvs all around were so muted I couldn't hear what they said, and radio in cars was completely silent. So my experience of this game was a rather silent one with hardly any music, and that really surprised me since the music was such a vital part of The Witcher. Now, I don't know if they've fixed the sound problems; I haven't replayed the game after I finished it.

My overall view of the game is that it's pretty fun, you can kill some time with it, but definitely not the immersive experience I was expecting.

It's not stellar, and once you get past the initial "wow factor" of running around the city, you end up just being ushered from one set location to another following a linear story. The RPG mechanics are okay, but nothing ground breaking. The best way to approach this game is the following: Are you a fan of Deus Ex? Would you like more color and an open world with RPG looting mechanics in exchange for giving up player choice? If yes to both of those, then this will be a good fit.

If however you want that player choice, you won't really find it here. If you want stuff that has player choices, play Fallout, Skyrim, Mass Effect, Deus Ex, or one of the many other vetted titles out there known for encouraging player choice. Dark Souls has more player choice than this game does.

It has also very good characters, the main character has some personality (it isn't just a blank person) and the other characters are all likable, even the villains are interesting. But at same time I couldn't have a sentimental bond like with some really memorable characters like Arthur Morgan (RDR2) or Kratos (from the New GOW). At the end of the day, the characters are interesting but nothing above that.

My original playthrough of Cyberpunk went really well, bug-free, but it was clear CDPR had lied to consumers for the sake of puffing up their investors, all in this weirdly ironic semblance of what corporate greed can do much like within the Cyberpunk setting itself.

The patches has come, and the DLC is announced now, but I feel this game is a far, far cry from what was promised. Subsequent attempts at playthough feel even more buggy now, perhaps my first run was lucky, perhaps fixing bugs caused others, I'm unsure. What I do know is that Cyberpunk, beyond it's interesting and well-executed story beats is a mess of a game at it's core. Overfunded, underdeveloped and missold to thousands. I only hope the DLC is everything they promise it to be.

When you can get it to work, there's gold in this game. Tension, immersion and depth, but the closer you look, the more you put under a magnifying glass and the more you try to really find yourself steeped within the world that CDPR wanted to craft? The less the game will let you. Melee combat is laughable, but intended to be fixed in the DLC, so we're told. Stealth shooting is satisfying but the hacking is not anywhere close to what we expected it to be, all that and so much more making this title fall short of what could have been.

It's average, the patches have made it more playable to many, and that's good but I wouldn't personally recommend anyone play this game.

The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
