    Overhype, this game looks no different from a Unisoft game. We have to stop accepting and praising mediocre **** Unfortunately this industry only has two studios that can deliver (technically wise), Rockstar and Naughty Dog.
    Came back after more playtime, this is just unacceptable!

    A lot of bugs, silly story, horrible NPCs, boring RPG-elements, etc.
    I regret buying that overhyped game.

They had such a strong marketing over this that they forgot to actually develop a good game, I found the story to be extremely generic, with dialog choices that doesn't seem to matter as the characters I'm talking to seems to ignore what I chose and say a default line. I just hope they fix this trash and that next time they actually use they're budget to develop a game, instead of hiring actors to promote bad games.

    Not recommended. Just wait and see if they actually manage to fix this.

    Broken game. Looks like a beta build of the game. Maybe even Alpha. I hit a bug in the tutorial that made me have to restart the game. Very disappointed.

    I can agree that the game doesn't feel fininshed. There are animation and texture glitches around basically every corner. In other games you would usually look at a glitch and be like "huh, guess that happened" but in this game it just becomes a usual thing. The story makes up for that 100% though in my opinion. Polices are spawning so close to you and when you enter car you are unbreakable. Bugs are gamebreaking and even Ubisoft does make it better. There are not so much RPG mechanics. The choices only effect first 15 minute and last 15 minute of the game. Story is average. SameFirst let's not be a fanboy and make an objective review. The AI is pure crap.     Game is so bad. AI is a joke, a bad one. The gameplay is like a mix of watch dogs, gta, hitman etc, but that mishmash gives at the end so bad gameplay, so stupid NPCs, terrible immersion with a surrounding work. I am do disappointed.

    This game is just bad, if i'm completely honest. It really is. It's maybe worth 20 dollars and even then it's unfinished, boring and has worst npc behavior of any open world game.

    bug! Bug! Bug! I have never played a game in my life with so many bugs. The PC version is already bad, and the ps4 version is even worse. If some people say that 2077 has ‘some’ bugs, then Assassin’s Creed is a perfect game.

    Before I start: I'm giving this a 0 primarily due to technical issues and bugs. If I didn't take those into account, I'd give it a 3. Which is to say - the game would still be terrible.

    I'll focus this on the gameplay rather than the bugs and performance. The gunplay is just straight up bad. This game will fall short compared to basically any other AAA shooter on the market.     I'll focus this on the gameplay rather than the bugs and performance.

    The gunplay is just straight up bad. This game will fall short compared to basically any other AAA shooter on the market. There's no feeling of impact, and every damn enemy is an obnoxious health sponge that takes multiple headshots to kill, even when built for damage. Unless you're using a sniper or some such, haven't tested those.

    The stealth is also pretty terrible. Enemies are pretty much stationary, hardly move at all, and so there's very little to the stealth. Little to no thought seems to have been put into designing enemy movement patterns and sight lines in relation to stealth. And I'm pretty sure the game just checks if you hid the bodies and spawns in some enemies if you didn't, rather than needing patrolling enemies to actually find them.

    The cops are beyond terrible. They just spawn right next to you when you commit a crime and start shooting, then vanish into thin air if you move more than 50m in any direction, not even attempting to chase.

    Driving feels terrible. The cars feel slow and boring, and other cars just drive on rails with no AI and will just ignore it if you ram into them or some such.

    Speaking of AI, the AI is terrible. If you shoot a gun in the air every NPC nearby will all take up the exact same cowering position at the exact same time. No running away, no reactions beyond screaming, no variety. The cops AI are terrible, as mentioned before. Enemy AI is terrible as well.

    Melee is terrible. Enemies will literally teleport around trying to auto-track you, which feels like ****

    The gear system is terrible. Your armor looks like mismatched **** and you spend the whole game looking like a toddler picked your clothes. And they don't even have cool stats. It's just putting on whatever has the biggest "armor" number on it, with no thought or interesting stats or choices. Same with weapons - just put on whatever has the biggest number on it, ignore the rest. It's basically the worst gear system I've seen in a modern RPG.

    Crafting sucks too. Everything you make is worse than the **** you find, so it's just not worth the perks. What the hell is the point of making a crafting build if your crafted gear isn't so much better than regular gear it makes up for the perks you spent on it?

    And the gear and perk systems are basically the only thing making the game an RPG. It has Role Playing Game Mechanics, but doesn't seem to have any actual Role Playing. You get basically zero ability to choose what your character does, how they act, etc. It's somehow even more on rails than Witcher 3.

    The perks and attributes are boring as **** It's almost entirely number increases. The stuff that isn't is just poorly implemented. I bought a perk that lets me throw knives - neat! - and I can't even pick them back up again from the enemy body. WTF. Knives are a melee weapon, btw, which means you're straight up throwing away one of your fancy melee weapons each time.

    The story is... average. It's just about the only part of the game that isn't absolute trash, but don't let that confuse you - it still isn't GOOD. You're introduced to a steady stream of characters throughout the game, then they're promptly shelved and you never see them again. You're expected to give a **** about people the game spends zero time fleshing out, often because the main character, V, somehow knows them or knows about them from before the game started.

    The writing does seem to be at least a little self aware - sometimes It'll mock stuff like corporations forcing workers to work 80 hour weeks, for example, which is obviously a reference to the fact that developer CDPR is itself a dystopian capitalist corporation with no soul working their employees to the bone for the profits of corporate overlords.

    And the main character V is, quite frankly, an annoying ****

    CDPR clearly spent too much of their mandatory overtime adding **** and dicks, and not enough time on stuff that matters.

    But hey, at least the advertising branch of CDPR looks like they're getting a raise because this game sold like ****ing crazy anyway. I guess stopping reviewers from accessing their ****ty console versions so nobody would know how terribly it runs worked out for them.    … Expand

    Don't get me wrong my pc is strong enough to handle this game but this game just sucks. There's no meaning in the answers you give to the npc's. You can't do anything in night city except just some lame side missions. The lag is so annoying that i thought it was a joke

Но вот оптимизация нет.     If Fyre Festival were a game, this is exactly what it would look like. Don't buy it! I gave it a point for the music.

    I changed to 4 from 1 because Cd Projekt Red did the right thing by offering refunds to unsatisfied customers.

    5) tiene un tutorial de 9 horas.
    6) las misiones secundarias son en su mayoría malísimas.
    7) Explotan a sus trabajadores.
    8) La creación de personajes es súper básica. Pero hicieron que puedas crearte un personaje trans como si fuera algo que aporte.
    9) pusieron a personas españolas a hablar con acento mexicano en el doblaje.

The world is shiny but empty, stupid AI, flat story, broken RPG mechanics etc. etc. etc.I can't even imagine what this game would have been If they released it back in spring. Won't even speak about poor PS4/XBO players who just got ripped off. CD Project Crap.

    The game was either not made or was made with a very large number of errors in the source code. In any case, what the CD Project Red company told and what they released for sale are two different games, and if the developer showed in the advertisement the gameplay that is in the release version, I would never have predicted such **** in my life.

Наверное, настолько сильно в мире всё испортилось, что теперь люди вынуждены искать в этих кучах не перевариваемые остатки, пробовать их на вкус, и говорить: О БОЖЕ 10/10!! Или просто во все деревни провели интернет, и каждый олигофрен от мира игр, будто по принуждению, называет "говно" игрой года.
    Теперь по сути. Что касается багов, говорить уже не имеет смысла. Прям никакого. Все всё прекрасно знают. А те, кто говорят, мол, их мало, да и вовсе нет- либо очень тупые, либо нагло лгут. Она из них состоит.
    Механики игры наполовину сломаны. Тупо отчасти не работают, как надо, либо вовсе сломаны. Игра тупо не работает, как надо. Из-за чего вытекают те самые баги.
    Моя последняя надежда. Сюжет. Логически он заканчивается ровно на том месте, когда Декс стреляет в голову Ви. Там калибр пули, если глаз не подводит, 11мм. Представьте, что будет с головой, если на расстоянии в пару десятков сантиметров выстрелить пулей такого калибра? Разрабы, судя по всему, не знали. Так ему еще и подвеску замутили, в центре которого была та самая пуля) А теперь вопрос, каким таким волшебным образом, тот самый чип, смог мало того, что восстановить мозг, напоминающий пюре, так еще и каким-то образом реанимировать Ви? Как?)) Многие говорят про сюжет в этой "игре", мол он очень крутой. Классные побочки. Где? В той же, всеми обсираемой, Андромеде они и то на порядок лучше. Тот же Сильверхэнд, от которого не ссутся разве что слепые, обычный анархист- террорист, от которого устаешь на 6-7 час игры, т.к. никакой логики и здравого смысла в его речах нет. Тупо надоел. Так что сюжет так же мимо.
    Единственное, что порадовало, позволило мне, все же, пройти этот "щедеврррр"- это художественный и архитектурный стиль игры. Художники и дизайнеры поработали на славу. Моё почтение.
    В итоге только из-за последнего, так сказать, пункта я и поставил 4 балла. Только этим игра меня не отпускала. А так чего уж там. CDR провели огромную работу над маркетингом. Даже не хочу думать, сколько было вложено денег в рекламу. В одну только рекламу. Видимо, понимая, как жестко с подливой они обосрутся, меры были приняты. В итоге, вместо 23 млн копий, 10. Падение онлайна в Стиме. Судебные разбирательства внутри конторы. Обосрамс года.    … Expand

    The game is a monumental let down. The games open world is Lifeless and shallow the combat is OK as well as the story its just OK. What happend to the role play element that Cd promised seems like everything in this game was miss sold and that without getting to the bugs!. Even if this game was bug free it would still be a lackluster shooter.

    No customization of your body in a game all about the style.
    There is no AI for driving (no police chases, the NPCs won't even turn to bypass you if you block the road).
    The game runs awful even on a decent PC (RTX2060Super).
    The writing sometimes feels off (especially via SMS and phonecalls).
    Everything seems half baked (like the internet, which is useless, can't even by a car there).
    Open world is basically dead with no way to interact with it (even though it was promised and marketed as a true "next-gen" open world game).
    Physics are buggy (can't even run something over with your car as it will glitch).
    The city feels like it's not real (no parking, no trains, supposedly lots of crimes in Night City, but police is everywhere).
    Police is straight up not fun (spawning right behind you, but won't chase you).
    No freedom whatsoever, can't even not pick up a phone call as to not break the story.
    A lot of exposure talk (people talk like they don't know each other and explain everything constantly).
    UI feels super off, it's unreadable at best (even simple act of comparing guns is tedious).
    Glitches, glitches, glitches

    Basically if you've seen the trailers -- you've been completely lied to, don't buy!    … Expand

    играю больше 20ти лет и это САМАЯ сырая игра что я когда либо видел. дело даже не в 100500 багов, а в том что игра скорее похожа на прототип который должны были показать менеджерам для принятия решения - пилить ли эту игру следующие 10 лет...

The game simply isn't very good, the combat is sluggish and all the guns feel as though they have no weight to them, and the enemies don't even react to being shot. Enemy AI is idiotic at most times and will just stand there while you shoot them. The driving is painful and feels like your steering a frictionless brick down a freshly waxed hallway, I know that didn't make sense. The game feels like a really bizarre mix of Grand Theft Auto and Borderlands, but not in a good way. Not to mention that the gamma settings, just don't work? I don't understand why, there are times when the brightness is so high that you are blinded, and times when it is so dark you literally can't see anything. Often in the middle of a shoot out as well and changing the game's gamma settings does nothing.

    There is no way that this game was in development for nearly 8 years and was released in this state, I wouldn't be surprised if we find out that they didn't actually start the game's development until after the E3 Keanu Reeves thing and that was them trying to hype it up again.     First of all the bugs. Good god - you wouldn't think the game has spent 7 years in development. I frequently had characters walking through walls/elevators, my character appearing with no clothes and even a bug during the story which ruined the serious moment the game was trying to depict.

    Next the graphics and performance. I am playing on the PS4 pro and the game still looks like a**. It breaks your immersion when you are walking around and see floating boxes, which suddenly turn into a car, or AI with no faces. In game billboards look like they are smeared with vaseline at times

    The AI is mind numbingly dumb. What happened to the AI that would have routines? Right now if you shoot a trash can the NPCs nearby will all go into a crouch perfectly in sync. The AI walk aimlessly on a predetermined path, and they all give the same generic comments.Night City is beautiful, but like most things in Cyberpunk is feels superficial and shallow, the AI play a massive role in this

    Cops and the whole police system is total trash, cops appear and disappear like magic. I was on a building and shot a civvie, the cops magically appeared behind me on the roof. Another time I killed someone in their apartment and 3 cops magically appeared behind me, in that same room. Then I ran out outside the door, hid behind a vending machine, lost my wanted level, came back in and they were magically gone in a room with only one exit. There's also no police car chases or logic to how they attack you.

    There is hardly any dynamic interaction with the world except for vendors and some basic, repetitive random encounters that don't go anywhere and get old really fast. The world doesn't respond to your actions as a player. There is no kind of reputation system, you don't become liked or infamous in certain districts when you commit a lot of crimes or help stop them (think Fallout: New Vegas), people don't remember you, people don't react to what you're wearing or what kind of car you drive, they don't react when you walk around slashing the air with a Katana like a mad man. Nothing you do in the Open World matters.

    Gameplay wise it is enjoyable, but it feels like more of a looter shooter than an RPG. CDPR quietly scrubbed the word ‘RPG’ from their messaging, dumbed down RPG mechanics, made dialogue options more limited than before, and instead we have this weird mish-mash of poorly fleshed out GTA and Borderlands-esque gameplay mechanics while also attempting to be an RPG. The loot system is overdone, invasive and distracting. You are constantly showered with redundant and marginally better items and have no attachment whatsoever with your fashion and weapon choices.Don’t get me wrong, I like the game for the most part, it just somehow feels like they spent the last 8 years making an interactive story, then tried to make it an open world RPG at the last minute.

    The Jackie montage especially rubbed me horribly wrong way.I wish it would have been an actual part of the game, instead of a cutscene. I actually thought it was going to do one of those (you see glimpses of the future and than it rewinds to you playing out those clips you saw trope).Nope, you just are all of a sudden expected to care for this guy,who as far as you know ruined your chance at nabbing a car, almost got you arrested and killed. How do I want to be friendly with this guy? At least let me slowly learn to like his personality so the friendship feels earned (like both are fighting against the same guy that set them up etc).

    TDLR: Enjoyable but mediocre game plagued with numerous issues and a ultimately lifeless and shallow world to explore.    … Expand

    I am now 50 hours in and probably halfway through the main story, been doing loads of side quests and exploring, looking for the game that we were all promised. Heartbroken, I just couldn't find it, Cyberpunk 2077 is not what it could have / should have been.

    It's not about if YOU like/enjoy the game. It's about CDPR promising one game, taking pre-orders and delivering a completely different game. This game is missing so many promised features it's unrecognisable. Almost no one cares about the bugs either, but we really should! Are your standards really that low? Wouldn't you be more happy if the Developer would actually test and release the game when it's ready and not just because it's Golden Hour of the year to get most money? Then scramble to fix it later? They lied to Sony and Microsoft about the state of the game on the current gen consoles. It's simply fraud. If you like the game as it is, - great! But please, just take a step back and understand that this game you love is only 5/10 of what it was meant to be, you're basically denying yourself an even better game by kissing CDPRs buttocks and saying that they did a good job. They didn't.

    Due to a galore of bugs that break the immersion every 5 minutes - I have decided to stop playing it for now and would not recommend you to spend money on it... at least not yet... Now, wait! If you trust that CDPR will promptly fix it - remember that you have already trusted them to release the game that was going to be AMAZING in April 2020!!! I can't even begin to imagine how broken the game was a year ago.

    It seems that what initially maybe started as a true passion-driven project with the intent to make one of the bests open world RPG games ever - soon became a cash grabber for the Marketing team. Hype Dispenser was on full blast and we sure did fell for it...

    V is on tight rails. I started as a Nomad. The first bug - I'm looking at the mirror and I'm clearly not wearing a west. The game gives me One Option (1!!!) - Remove the Bakkers clan badge from the west I'm not wearing. One button press later - suddenly I'm wearing a west, and I have no choice but to remove the badge. (later I wonder if things could have gone differently in the game if I was given an option to keep it?). The Mechanic then tells me that I need to spend more money than expected to fix the car which I'm about to use for a smuggling operation. V, being the aggressive choomba that he is - takes matters into his own hands and "fixes" the car himself. The car fails to start straight away but conveniently works just fine two more tries later and performs just as new for the rest of the mission. Makes me wonder - what if I was given a choice? What if V fixing the car would have meant that mid-mission, at a critical point, it would have not started? Made my gameplay completely different from what could have happened if I was given an option to pay extra money to this Mechanic?

    This is not next gen game they advertised.

    After the first mission is over you get about a minute-long montage of how you became friends with Jackie - "6 months later..." Really? You are telling me that there was no way I could have actually done all of those missions/activities together with Jackie and felt like I became friends with him?

    Just saying... Witcher 3 was all about hard choices that had real consequences where CyberScam 2020 is all about fake bling. The Traffic, Police, and NPCs are all just a mirage. None of them are really there. The Truman Show. The world can be beautiful if you have good hardware to back it up, I'll give them that, but at the same time, it's also dead. When I talked to NPCs on the street they never mentioned anything about what happened during my quests. None of the characters commented on MY choice to spare lives or just murder 50 guards with a machine gun. Fixers force missions on to you, and you don't even meet most of them in person before they do. Invisible walls for vehicles - everywhere!! I could go on, but it's just another mediocre open-world game in the Early Beta stage.

    This multibillion company lied to you and you should not take it lightly. Spend few minutes on the internet and research how they have mistreated their developers. Watch some YouTube videos of Cyberpunk 2077 bug compilations. CDPR had a good thing going for them, but they've decided to cash out. Vote with your wallet, ask for a refund if you can.     And of course I’m not professional in game dev, but I think if RDR2 can look pretty good on base versions, so why Cyberpunk 2077 can’t? Why I’m paying for this?

    Other than that, the game's mechanics feel 5 or 6 years old. Navigating the inventory's 3 different screen to dissassemble hundreds of similarly bad items is not fun. spending 4 minutes crafting your cosumable one by one is not fun.

    The guns have an amazing visual and sound design, under deserved by spongy ennemies that make gunfight feel sluggish and innefective.

    As for the story, and the world design, the game does not carry its name properly. Cyber it might be, but Punk it ain't. The main character got no ideals beside Survival, and Silverhand carries a 50 years old legacy into a world that stayed weirdly stilted since Cyberpunk 2020. If it wasn't for the charm of Keanu reeves, his character would have been deeply unpleasant. Thanks to Keanu's amazing likability, Silverhand is simply a grouchy misanthropic character dragging old revenge fantasies with very little ideological mainstay.

    The world has very little self reflection in it, in a lot of ways this "dystopia" seems to ignore the ways our real world is **** up. I've seen very little elements of critique of our society (which was the whole point of cyberpunk in the 80.) or our economy. (I remember the corp book 1 opening on a very real description of the way real world capitalism dipped its toes in darker things than the actual Cyberpunk world.)

I toned down the graphics so I could get at least 60fps but the game was fuzzy and lacked detail. It plays like an early access game but with a premium price of $60.     We need to hold these companies to a REAL standard, and give the game a score it deserves, as if it was a brand new game from a brand new company.. No "pity points"..
    This game is NOT a 6 out of 10, I don't even believe it's a 5 out of 10..
    A "real" 5 out of 10 is a mixed game.. half good, half bad.. this game is mostly bad, except a very few sections in the first 4 hours polished up for reviewers who were flown out..
    Some of the most interesting points of the game are skipped over with a generic cutscene, the same cutscene for everyone, which ends your "lifepath"..
    The mechanics of the game feel 1/4 finished.. Some are polished, most are poorly implemented or missing entirely.. Without explanation..

    The world is empty and lifeless, except very specific scripted areas.
    Cut content CRIPPLED this game..

    Beside all of that, the pointless and unknown AVX requirement caused the game to crash in the same exact spots in the prologue for thousands of us, while the game was running perfectly, otherwise.
    Thankfully, all of us at the CDProjektRed forum were sharing details and ideas, and this one awesome person (fofo2323) had the idea and knowledge to edit the "AVX Call" code, to pretty much ignore the AVX call as soon as the "ask" started..
    Then, days later, the Nexusmods site had it up for the rest of the world.. Now the AVX problem is no longer a problem.. Thanks to replacing a "55" with "C3" in a string of code..
    GOG and CDProjektRed support were speaking with me as if I were the only person contacting them, very personal, and they shared the solution around.
    Those guys deserve credit for doing everything possible to either help fix the issue or get the refund going.    … Expand

Then it came out, and the only criticisms I heard were of glitches, which usually don't bother me as long as the RPG elements are good. Well, it's not an RPG, there are no choices, there is nothing to interact with, it's a rigid action shooter looter with a 10 hour story with one of the most boring and uninteresting endings I've ever seen in video game history. But back to the point, this game is empty, meaningless, boring, dead, linear. You want that but with a story that'll grip you a little bit more? Go play Call of Duty. Obviously their marketing campaign was so outrageously false that in most developed countries it's outright illegal false advertising. I know there are many lawsuits ongoing right now and CDPR, with this game, is just begging to get ripped to shreds in court. And I hope they do, to course correct from the capitalist dystopia we seem to already be in.… Expand

    Besides the bugs and mediocre performance, this is a really disappointing game on itself. The police system is embarrassing, combat is not engaging, (personally) the stealth and hacking is underwhelming and doesn't seem like a viable playstyle, the loot system is obnoxious, the lack of a transmog system makes the clothes a random mess, can't speak for the story yet, but I'm really notBesides the bugs and mediocre performance, this is a really disappointing game on itself. The police system is embarrassing, combat is not engaging, (personally) the stealth and hacking is underwhelming and doesn't seem like a viable playstyle, the loot system is obnoxious, the lack of a transmog system makes the clothes a random mess, can't speak for the story yet, but I'm really not invested.     The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
