    Totally unplayable on my PS4 Slim. Buggy, ugly, 20 fps. The worst is when i got a bug on my main quest : Jackie got caught two times on an infiltration mission... Then I decided to get a refund from this game, and I made it fortunately. You should do the same. Even for free i wouldn't want to play this game at this state. I took 0 fun from it.

Понимал, что переносы игры ведут только к лучшему, ожидал конечно, что на выходе игры будет некоторое колличество багов и не такая крутая графика как в трейлере, но то, что я получил для своей PS4 не описать без нецензурных слов. Да, сюжет реально клевый, но с такой, мягко говоря, омерзительной картинкой и таким низким FPS играть просто невозможноДолго ждал эту игру. Оформил предзаказ.     All my saves has been lost. Syncing between 2 machines is impossible. I have to start over. Lost 5 hours to solve this problem. Steam.

    The core of this game is hollow. Basic functions are non existent. Life paths are pointless. Story is on rails. Not even close to an RPG. Pointless dialogue options. Driving is clunky. Night City is a movie set. No actual in game nudity. Combat is unresponsive. AI is worse than games from 20 years ago. Way to much pointless loot. Inventory management sim. Fake time skip mechanic.     1 point for a good, but nothing special, story.

    - all the RPG elements that aren't in this game, that 15-year-old, open-world RPG games like GTA:SA managed to master
    - so much censoring for an adult game, set in a sex-crazed city
    - no customization options
    - releasing an unfinished game and charging full price
    - pretty much all the other things that they have either omitted, removed, or straight up lied about

    Game needed more time (alot more) this game has issues more than just bugs. Not finished and is a huge mess on last gen consoles. (The consoles the game is supposed to work fine for). If last gen is the only option, do not buy. CD projekt red was also very quiet about the state of the game and then after they get peoples money they then apologize. Making promises they cant keep. There is no way this game was any worse off in September on PC and they made us wait 3 months so they could work on the console ports... WHICH TURNED OUT HORRIBLE! There are still years of work to be done but just tell us how you feel about the concept.". So here is how my feedback to CDPR would be like.

    First of all, content density is good guys, great work on that. But the game engine doesn't work at all. Physics are broken all around, I think you have to make a physic engine overhaul before the alpha release.

    I see that you haven't implemented any kind of AI yet, I would like to see how game will look like after AI is added.

    Also I understand you haven't started with the bug fixing yet but I can say you are going to have a tough time with it.

    Weapons & cars look fine right now but you definitely need to add more variants.

    I thought this was supposed to be a next-gen open world, but I didn't see anything new. Maybe once AI is added, it feels different but as of now open world experience is so shallow. I would suggest adding some more interactions with the world and remove the markers from the map so players can explore themselves.

    I must say that gunfight mechanics are awful as they are now, please tell me this is just a place holder and you haven't implemented the real one yet. It is even worse than 23 years old Half-Life. Add dynamic stuff to gunfights, stand and shoot is so boring. Also this is a futuristic game, please add some futuristic gun mechanics other than hold and release. Double tap dodges are also terrible, overall all instant movements are terrible, smoothen them a bit. If I am walking on a not flat surface, my camera keeps going up and down instantly.

    As this is a pre-alpha proof of concept with tons of unfinished stuff and bugs, I didn't really enjoy the games atmosphere. In sunset I look to the landscape and say what a good view, then I see my own shadow, like a puppet, lol. It looks so funny, maybe you can release the game with this shadow to make people lose their minds :P.

    Overall I think this project has a great potential, but also so much work is required. I really can't wait years to see how the completed version will look like. Great job guys, keep it up!

    Back to reality, I am really surprised after 5 years of full time development, this is what they come up with. Many people rate it higher because they believe it will be fixed soon! But as it is released as a complete and finished game, I will rate it as one. 8 points for the content, -6 points for either not working or not implemented mechanics. 2/10, terrible.    … Expand

    Wer eine PS4 oder XBOX one besitzt sollte das Spiel nicht spielen!!! Die Graphik,npc‘s,autos sind nicht programmiert auf Die consolen zur laufen. Cyberpunk ist ein Gutes spiel und wer das genießen möchte sollte auf die pc Version zugreifen.

They drive in pathways that are painfully obvious and simply stop whenever there are any obstacles. Almost everything can be cheesed with stealth and de-aggroing. Many simple objects like chairs and machines are inaccessible, not even allowing for the player to participate in the world unless given a prompt from a mission. The immersion is just not there.     Worst AI in any videogame I've ever played. No cop/chase system, they just spawn behind you no matter where you are. The 3 life paths are all the same. 99% of your choices do not matter, which they lied about. Countless bugs/glitches. Absolute joke of a game CD should be ashamed of themselves for putting this out.

Turns out it was all misleading marketing and lazy/rushed development, so many features and content are missing. I'm really disappointed, and I kinda feel both mad and bad at CDPR. Devs were obviously rushed by management and that resulted in this mess.     The Life paths are meaningless. Choices almost don't impact the game at all. The different endings are just a ONE dialog choice we take at the very end. 3rd person cut scenes looked amazing on trailer videos and so much more immersive than just 1st person view during ALL game. I mean, there is so much more missing. And I don't think we will ever get the game we were told we will have from CD Projekt Red.    … Expand

    PS I feel sorry for actual developers who was blamed for cynical corporate desision to rush and publish unfinished game.

    Для всех русскоязычных поясню за мнение - игра дерьмо, как релизнулась дикими багованным дерьмом в прошлом году, так до сих пор пытаются "это" пофиксить. Цена этой поделки ну максимум 1000 рублей, но это не уровень ААА проекта, cdpr скурвились.

    Пшеки есть пшеки. Как были гнилой нацией, так ей и остаются - на протяжении всей истории, 10-20 века мы, Русские воюем с этим гниловатым народцем. Сейчас, во времена тотальной толирастии и пидерастии на западе, мозги у пшеков совсем раскисли от сидра и нереализованных яблок.     Sound - Amazing! Voice lines and sounds are top quality. Voiceovers are Mass Effect 2 level.
    Bugs - you name it - floating boxes, unlootable itmes, glitching enemies, glitching environment, you car summon is bugged as hell. You can actually kill npc on the other side of a building with your car driving into them and exploding. Once I was carrying too much weight and was walking to my car, wehn i was about to reach it - it fell into the ground and exploded - thought they are making fun of me.
    Vulgar language and profanity every couple of meters wont be enogh for the game to be special.
    The game is not better than:
    I will most certainly not recommend anynone the game, not before a 70% price cut.
    CDPR should stick to predefiined IPs as Th Witcher.    … Expand

    I had blinding white light in my face from the opening scene and then saw trees from kilometers away floating in my hud. Thought my guy was tripping. I spent three hours trying to make my dude asian to no avail this was the biggest hype train. How sad

    NPCs driving AI is just non-existent, they are simply just following predetermined routes without any algorithms like: avoid obstacles, honk at obstacles, have reactions when they hit you and sh*t like that. Even GTA 5 which is not the best at NPC interactions has some type of reaction on NPCs when they hit you and that adds a lot to immersion

    Police system. It is absolutely garbage right now. Police won't even chase you in cars, only thing they can do is spawn behind you indefinitely

    Character customization is laughable at best. You can't change Tattoo in a cyberpunk game... Really? Even when you create your character there are so low amount of tattoos to choose from. GTA 5 has so many tattoos for SEPARATE BODY PARTS and tattoos are not even essential/important to roleplay in GTA 5. Buying cloths is AC:Valhalla level **** you can't even preview how they look on you

    World interactions. Apart from side missions and main story there is literally nothing to do but kill random NPCs or gangs and drive your car. As soon as you run out of side missions and main story you are left in an open world city with 0 interactions and activities.    … Expand

    The bad:

    1. Enemies are bullet sponges, you need multiple headshots to kill them.

    2. AI is atrocious, to the point of being nonexistent:

    Cops literally spawn on top of you and execute you if you do something illegal, even in the desert. Also, cops cannot use vehicles at all. Yes, car chases are not on the menu, except for some scripted missions.
    NPC don't react to the context, they just move around on predetermined paths and don't do anything else. Same 1-2 lines, same movement. You can watch someone knock on a door for hours if that's your jam. That respective door will not open :)

    3. Customization is really bland:

    -weapons have 2 slots for mods and don't really do anything special. Only the shown DPS number matters. Clothing is the same with the added disadvantage that you can't decide how you look when you equip something with better stats.

    4. Character development:

    The character stats + perks are absolutely forgettable, Torchlight 1 or Diablo 2 had better skill stats/trees and those are 20 year old games. Why couldn't they just copy something from Fallout/ Deus Ex etc if they couldn't come up with something decent ? Warning: melee sucks, invest in guns. Also stealth is a joke/waste of time. You can't complete missions being stealthy. That may change after patch 2.31 though (we're at patch 1.04 now )

    5.The story itself is generic: the NPCs that give you jobs are just talking heads on a phone screen, there's zero connection to anyone.

    TL,DR: the game systems lack (any) depth, AI is nonexistent. Wait for patch 2.31 and buy it on a 50% sale at least. The game feels and plays like a F2P game, but has the gall to call itself AAA Title and wants 60$/€.    … Expand

    This game has been hyped to kingdom come. After years of anticipation and several delays, gamers were optimistic to receive an optimized, bug-free game; after all, the developers took their time to straighten out all the kinks, right? Wrong. Upon installing the game and its very large day-one patch, I was surprised to see that the game many thought to become the    Hilariously awful!

    Upon installing the game and its very large day-one patch, I was surprised to see that the game many thought to become the game of the century was so badly optimized, that my PC system running a GTX1070 could not even handle the game on the lowest settings.
    Gameplay-wise the game has absolutely nothing to offer what other games hadn't done before. In fact, many aspects of the game feel out-dated and unnecessarily clunky. Stealth is a joke; you can only silently take out an enemy when you are behind them. While you can use hacking to temporarily disable their vision, you're still not able to grab them from in front.

    I have played the game for more than thirty hours at this point and Cyberpunk 2077 has been more than disappointing throughout. My main focus in the game so far has been the countless side-quests. In terms of the main story, I'm about 60% done. Many have said the story makes up for the performance issues, the bugs, the glitches, but I don't support that argument.
    Surely the story isn't a bad one, but in my opinion, it doesn't even come close to the likes of The Outer Worlds, Red Dead Redemption 2, or even Fallout.

    IN the same way, the city of Night City feels as dead as V when they were launched into the air after kicking a trashbag; while the Sci-Fi buildings, cars, and weapons might be somewhat pretty to look at, nothing in this world seems alive. NPCs don't react to the player at all. If you stand in the road, you'll be run over. If you're in the way of a pedestrian, they will walk right through you. The cars are simply there to be an obstacle for you in traffic or for you to jack should you be in dire need of a vehicle, which, on a side-note, the game tries really hard for you not to be since you will get a message every so often asking you to buy a car you will never afford.

    I have found that if I play anything other than the main story, my game crashes every five to ten minutes. It freezes, it outright crashes, and it even blue-screened my PC once. I do not understand how such a broken game passed CDPR's quality control if there ever was any.

    Summary:

    - Awful performance
    - Unnecessary bugs and glitches
    - Lackluster gameplay mechanics
    - Outdated feel
    - Broken car physics
    - An empty world with dead NPCs

Gun play is meh, the gun choice is ok but you'll just get a widow maker and stay with that the entire game. I enjoyed trying to sneak until it would bug out and I either got stuck in scan mode or it would just not let me grab. A billion shards that you will never read. you'll carry a million drink and food items you will almost never use. Upgrading items is costly and a joke. I did enjoy the random cars appearing and trash bags exploding into the air. Bugs aside there is just not a lot to this game.… Expand

    Shockingly terrible, like I said before this game has more crashes than the aviation industry over the past 10 years. THERE IS LITERALLY NO AI IN THIS GAME. The cars follow a scripted path and the police spawn right behind you when you commit a crime. GTA 3 HAD BETTER AI. This game deserves to be burned and thrown into a landfill.

    RPG elements: For an RPG there is literally nothing to do. The crafting system is poor and a last minute thought. The looting system straight out of borderlands is perversely out of place and had me switching guns every time I picked something up until I got legendary highest DPS I could find. Terrible. Upgrades and mods are also pathetic. UI for everything is the same pathetic menu with no interactivity, just "here's a small picture with words", totally different to what was advertised before. The skill tree is plentiful but ultimately just "OK" as most options are just small percentage boosts. No way to tell what level anyone is.

    Sandbox elements: The open world/sandbox elements are non existent, why they made an open world game and made it completely non-interactive is beyond me. Enemy variety is poor, not even any minigames like TW3 or KCD, merely 4 prostitutes. Every neutral activity is a shop with the same UI as previously mentioned. Extremely lacking.

    Technology: There is barely any code for AI, half the animations in the entire game are simply not there, 3rd person cutscenes are cut from most of the game from some reason, physics are bare bones and lazy. There aren't any systems in place, the wanted system is last minute "sort of " there, customization is basic and I can not see my character while playing. Photomode is pointless and a waste of time and resources when your game is missing most of its promised aspects. Where are the corrupted police officers I can bribe, factions of gangs I can actively participate in, car customization, in depth UI with animations.

    Graphics: I played this on a Ryzen 5 3600xt CPU and an RTX 3070 GPU averaging around 80fps. At best with Raytracing on ultra the game is visually stunning, at worst NPCs look like they are made out of paste, smaller objects like bricks of lego and as previously mentioned, a LOT of geometry isn't finished.

    Where do I even begin with this game. I have pretty high spec PC with a 1080ti graphics card and the game would crash in the same at least 20 times. It was so bad that I couldn't progress at all in the game and I ended up just decided to get a refund

Texture and physics bugs add to the absence of any immersion. And the driving itself - it really is just very sad. I don't expect the fluidity of GTA in this but it feels so clunky.     But who thought bullet-sponge enemies were a good idea? As much as I love getting 10 headshots before finally taking down an enemy, yeah I'm gonna pass.     What a **** show. I regret taking of work for a week. Barely couldn’t play the game on my Xbox Series X. I would have taken a bullet for CDPR but after playing this game I am not sure in what universe this game was developed. Clearly not in our. 2077? AI is -200000000 years ago. This game is broken and can never be fixed.

    It feels like it's still in alpha stage. Tons of bugs and glitches. The narrative is lackluster. There's no attachment to any character. There is no reason why you're doing any of this stuff. CD PROJEKT RED claimed that their character creation gave the player a ton of options, which turned out to be a lie. NPCs clip through objects, appear out of nowhere. Items go flying everywhere, when you open loot cases. AI is just plain stupid. Driving is terrible - it's very "floaty"(?). Traffic is driving on hardcoded paths. Police will spawn behind you, when you're wanted, even when your back is facing a wall with no entrance and they will just empty their clips into your body. There's no way to talk yourself out of being arrested, let them arrest you or even bribe them. They will just kill you right away. But when you get into a car and go around the corner they just forget you've ever existed. Gunfight is also not exactly something I'd call fun, enemies are just bullet sponges, you can empty 3 clips into their head and they will still keep running at you with their melee weapon. Performance on ultra settings is fine, but only on server grade accelerators like NVidia Tesla P40/P100, recommended setup is also a lie. Even Keanu's voice acting is mediocre.

    Cyberpunk 2077 feels like it has no clue what it wants to be and that shows, if I wanted to pick a genre for it, it would be in AAA Disappointments along with Fallout 76 and Warcraft 3: Reforged. For me for now it's a buggy mess not worth my money or/and time. CD PROJEKT RED has shown what they think about the players through their lie-driven marketing campaign.    … Expand

    Also, they changed the source materials for marketing in China. Pretty scummy. Kang Tao (康陶) was a Taiwanese corporation in CP2020, and here it is suddenly Chinese. Way to bow down to Xi, CDPR...     Even putting politics aside~~the game consistently lets me down, particularly in the RPG part.

    On my Win 10 PC MSI GE66, the game runs quite smoothly (60~120FPS) on Ultra and I have only encountered 2 bugs which could be easily resolved by reloading saves. Hence, I will only be talking about the game when it works as intended. I won't talk about bugs as I feel they are another topic.

    1. Story (main quest) is told in a good way for a scripted, interactive movie. But it undeniably fails as a RPG ---- which the game identifies as up until E3 2019

    2. We're playing a fun game, but NOT role-playing it

    3. Romances deliver only the bare minimum, severely lacking depth and width. For binary people of both genders, you have exactly 1 option. And that one does not even have depth or emotional moments much.

    4. Side contents are aplenty and feels huge in quantity!! ...except, most of them are fetch quests and clones of each other. The open world looks pretty but has nothing interesting to offer.

    5. Censorship exists even in non-censored versions. The game feels like Teen (T). A cyberpunk game that is devoid of all the sexy elements that make the genre exciting.

    6. A lot of cut content. All the noteworthy moments are exactly what has been advertised in those promotional videos prior to release.

    7. All possible endings feel rushed and not well thought out. The takeaway message leaves the player pessimistic and cynical.

    I can't believe I'm saying this, but Bethesda and BioWare (even with their recent wrong doings) now look like better game developers next to CDPR. If you don't trust the reviews, just play the game and see for yourself.

    Me?? I'm just glad this game gives me more reasons to go back and play those games that are actually worth it: Fallout 4, Fallout: New Vegas, Mass Effect Remastered, Dragon Age and Skyrim, etc.    … Expand

    This game is so bad in optimizations and full of bugs. They work in this game for about 8 years!
    CD Project wake the F*k up you got a game to burn!!
    Especially if you bought it on PS4 or xbox one it’s an actual scam.

    Too cool for school attitude of every character, dumb as ****.

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
