    Game is really bad in every technical way. Story is good, but for Action-RPG is really short. Open world is empty and feels really dead. AI just stupid.
    We need a Cyberpunk 2.0, because THIS is unplayable.

    All the removed and cut content that originally was advertised in their trailers, i.e. the RPG focus, the 3rd person cutscenes, the claims about the most believable and immersive open world, that choices actually matter, that they are going to release it when it's completed and ready - these are all lies. I'd still give it a couple of points, but they denied my refund request.     It was not the bugs why I found the game lacking at release. It was the huge parts of the game that were torn out to get the preorder money still in 2020. Only one of these areas has been attacked yet: The police's behavior. And that is more of a band-aid than a solution, even nine months after going live.

    Who would have thunk that developing basic game mechanics for a AAA game would take more than a few months? Not CDPR's upper management, who kept lying when they knew the truth about the state of the game.

    Almost a year after release, the game is still mediocre. Both the amateurish roadmap that was officially presented and the "big fixes" published already show CDPR do not intend to change this. Through the grapevine, we learned that the developers are still busy with Cyberpunk 2077, just not with developing what was promised. They want to present their shareholders DLCs that make them more money, and those are cheapest developed without improving the basic structure of the game.

    The huge difference between No Man's Sky's and Cyberpunk 2077's studios is that No Man's Sky's is an indie dev who was in a position to decide that their destroyed reputation was worth saving. So. they invested the money they had made into developing the missing promised features and much more during the years after the game went gold. Kudos to them for this. They could all have bought a sunny island each instead, and lived on their earnings.

    But CDPR is a publicly-traded company. Meaning its owners are as much interested in the company's reputation among gamers as a premier game studio like EA: Not one bit, as long as it does not endanger their profits. They already bagged all those profits in 2020, complained about the game not selling well in 2021 (what a surprise), and took CDPR to court over the stock price loss - surprisingly (to them) the same people who had lied to the gamers had lied to the investors, as well. For these lies and the resulting sales, CDPR's management received bonuses in the millions in the spring of 2021.

    None of them had a sleepless night over the game's low quality, and they will do their darndest to keep CDPR's developers from doing what should have been done before the game went live: Develop functioning game mechanics and implement what was promised.

    So, as much as my heart bleeds saying this: No, we will not see Cyberpunk 2077 to follow No Man's Sky.

    PS: Almost a year later, close to nothing has been done regarding the many big holes in the game, where the content was promised or even a fake implementation was shown.

    After the Next Generation Patch, 14 months after release: I checked a dozen bugs that were claimed as fixed, according to the patch notes. Fixed in the devs' dreams, maybe, but not in the game. After ten hours, I could not continue testing, due to a bug that stops progression, known since Day 1. Nice job, CDPR. Do not think you will see one cent from me in the future. This includes any further DLCs for Witcher 3, or GOG purchases. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.    … Expand

    The world LOOKS fantastic, the city is amazing, but its hollow and feels empty. You rescue a person being attacked by a gang and that person just stands there screaming that they're being attacked, not a single pedestrian has ever had anything to say to me or responded to me in any way outside generic no-context blurbs. Its not immersive in any way, compared to something like GTA or Red Dead Redemption 2, its just not on the same level by any stretch of the imagination.

    The story so far seems interesting, and the voice acting is great, but that's about it. Not at all what they have marketed it to be even if you ignore all the hype.

    So yeah 2/10 because its broken in so many ways, if/when they fix the game I will update to maybe 5/10 or 6/10, can't see it being much more than that based on how shallow and empty it is outside the story missions.    … Expand

    Time to update my rating after 6+ months since the ''promises'' that CDPR said that they would deliver. No major fixes or improvements, game still feels sluggish, and really nothing to do in this game after completing it and seeing all the boring endings accept of the panam ending which is the best one imo.     After going ahead and completing the game and waiting for more patches to come out i promised myself i will delete my old review and edit the review and truly describe how much of the hype was real about cyberpunk 2077.
    Im gonna start by saying that the people comparing the game to GTA or any rockstar titles, just note that rockstar has more than half of CDPR's staff and have a bigger budget as well as investors and backers and have much more experience in open world games. So if youre trying to trash other open world games that are not made by rockstar then your comparison is awful! and you probably didnt play any bethesda or ubisoft (which is the worst of the bunch) games at all! and you should appreciate was CDPR delivers in this game and you will see that they truly make games with a ton of heart and soul.
    After i got that out of the way here is my review:
    I want to say that Cyberpunk 2077 is such a beautiful game in all its aspects, with so much attention to detail in dialogues with NPC's and the open world and especially the amazing night city. Especially when playing on a high end PC youre going to experience RTX like ever before and i dint think visually there is no game thats matching Cyberpunk! The game is so freaking beautiful and so realistic and alive. But one thing is for sure its missing a TON of physics to be implemented into the engine.
    Other than that, the gameplay is very very fun but at times it can be meh like and not realistic or fun at all. When you start guns blazing everywhere its not fun at all like in COD but feels more like far cry, heck even the NPC's during combat act like the ridiculous NPC's like in far cry so you wont find anything interesting when you get noticed, rather i found stealth to be much more fun in the game and far more interesting with loads of different approaches and especially fun once you upgrade your cyberweare and skills. The melee combat is also meh and not as impactful or interesting unless you use the mantis blades, all the fist fights and sword fights are not as fun or impactful.
    Driving in the game is dull and faster cars feel so bubbly like where the just fly all over when you get to a certain speed, and the mini map while driving really needs an improvement!!! i believe they shouldve just taken driving influence from NFS games where its exactly in between realistic and arcadey.
    Story wise, OMG the story is unbelievable! its so beautiful and well crafted and so many options and paths to choose and overall i dont want to spoil anything, but wow! I have also never felt so connected to video game characters like this since the mass effect trilogy!
    Tho it is missing a ton of content and scenes and you can feel the cut out content to try and rush the game but i felt like it really needed more, and i dont know who complained about how the witcher 3 was long but thats probably CDPR not showing self blame that they tried to rush this project as much as possible in the best way possible. I really wanted more acts or a opening missions and something longer that wouldnt make me feel so empty after i finished the game. I dont want to talk about much of the story to not spoil but i wish the game was longer because it needed that extra 10-20 more hours of story telling. Hopefully DLC's will make up for that.
    Soundtrack is phenomenal! nothing to add much because its a 10!
    So overall to not make this review entirely long im going to say that i am 100% absolutely loving the game! it does live up to the hype and im so in love with cyberpunk! tho there is missing features and cut out content that really disappointed me in a way but non the less its a well crafted game that is a must buy on pc! and i cannot wait to see what CDPR continues to bring in the future.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was all about the hype when this game was announced and ever since they started promoting it literally everywhere. The world design of cyberpunk is beautiful, you can walk up to any pavement or building and it looks awesome, but the thing is that's all the game is. It focuses so heavily on making things look shiny, that it forgets these things should also work properly.
    There's no I in the AI of Cyberpunk NPC, Cops spawn randomly if there's a 2 feet empty gap behind you and sometimes they don't even take the effort to hide the fact that they spawned randomly behind you. Sometimes they even spawn right in front of you out of nowhere. The NPC's do not talk except for the one line reply that they give, it's almost as if there are 50 replies and they randomly respond with one. Being an RPG, I thought at-least that part of dialogue would be good. When you stop mesmerizing at the world, you start noticing how devoid of life Night City is, Non-existent water physics, No NPCs seen driving bikes, guessing because their "AI" follows a scripted path instead of actually an AI being there. Outside of the side quests and main story-line, Night City doesn't let the player interact with anything at all. It isn't fun.
    The loot system looks like it was developed at the very end and rushed like the rest of the game. The player doesn't feel anything special about the weapons they receive because they receive a better one at literally the next side quest or main mission.

    Spoiler:

    Jackie's death doesn't make me feel anything at all because we only know him for the first 15 mins and guess what? The actual important friendship between V and Jackie is given off as a cut-scene for half a minute. Seems like half their development budget went towards getting Keanu Reeves who comes off as an arrogant guy as he is supposed to be, but Keanu's acting lets admit, is average at best. People love him because of how wholesome he is and never consider him to be Joaquain so that part is disappointing.

    I could go on and on about the variety of bugs in the game which would be fixed, but these core components of the game regarding AI, Physics, Story-line stems from the base engine of the game which I doubt we would ever see bettered. Very disappointed after waiting for so long, CDPR I hope you are happy with the Christmas sales you so rushed out to get your game released for because in the process, you've lost your reputation as a trustworthy company.    … Expand

    Cyberjunk has less detail than Red dead Redemption 2 and GTA V. The plot is nothing special. Cyberstans never know. Cyberpunk is just a Far Cry clone. Same stolen stea lm th kills

    I tried it after patch 1.61 and DLSS 3 update, I can definitely say that this game has finally reached BETA 2 years after its release. I can't believe how they waste this pure potential. What a pity.

    This game was supposed to launch in April 2020. It's not a next genealogy game and was meant to be played on PS4 and Xbox One. However, its an unfinished piece of mess. I want refund.

They also cut out quite a few features from the game. You can't even interact with NPCs. Red Dead Redemption 2 did that better and actually felt more realistic than this game.     Even when the game works, where is the immersion? You kill someone in the middle of nowhere with no witnesses and some braindead cops spawn out of nowhere and you can just easily outrun them. Examples like these make me think why the hell the development took so ridiculously long. The game is such a joke.

    A very sad story: here in Italy, lockdown with no internet yet because of new house I just moved out. bought this game on day one and simply cannot play this. unable to run because a system error. very very disappointed on how cdproject red have a lack of honesty woth this game. what the **** 70 bucks for a game that can’t even be played? WHAT THE ****.

    I will never trust this company again. Big disaster. I am sure CDPR was aware the situation and collected money with marketing. They knew that they will not able to sell this game after the release. Their shares dropped 30% in one day. This summarizes what is going on!

    Worst AAA character creation system I have seen since Destiny.
    The NPCs have a simple AI, nothing like the 2018 demo.
    Cops spawn right behind you when you kill someone, they don't even show up in police cars.
    When you shoot or attack someone, all nonviolent NPCs will just crouch down and do nothing making no noise.
    I'm very disappointed with this game

    Now when it's score went from 86 to 85 it's officially over. You can't promote your game as something epic, gamechanger, next-gen open world and then have score of 85. Not that these score matter, because way, way better games than cyberpunk 2077 have lower scores than 85. But all i'm saying is that even "professional reviewers" gave up on it and that's something to archive.

    Honestly just a shell of a game. Some of the most poorly coded texture streaming in existence. Buggy, glitchy, broken, boring and most importantly uninspired. Please play Witcher 3 as it is beautiful art in comparison to this hot pile of garbage. I paid 80 dollars for this and have never been so disappointed with a purchase. i doubt i will ever play this game again.

    I was not just a piece of paper, but with words. With Words of gratitude from you. You were thanking me, your ordinary customer, for that I bought your product. And my first thought was - these guys like their job. That's how a good company should treat itself with its clients.

    I respected your company. I have all of your games. Moreover, I bought The Witcher 3 for PS4 and PC with all the DLC. I bought Cyberpunk, and wasn't hating you, like your real "fans" did. I understood that this game was really important not only for you, but for the whole industry. And it's not your fault that customers overhyped the game and the game didn't match their expectation that they had in their heads. And yes, you fixed the game and now its playable.

    Unfortunately, recently, you completely crossed out everything for which I loved and respected you by stopping the sales of your games on the territory of my country. Understand that people who play games have nothing in common with the terrible events that are happening now.

    And you just decided to hype. Just like those who poured **** on cyberpunk. And you decided to be a tool in the hands of politicians.

    I ask you to pay attention that you WERE a company that had a truly popular love in Russia. The key word - WERE. And this is not only my opinion.

Metro system they promised? Nah. It also manages to look worse than the 2018 E3 demo (another downgrade just like in the Witcher 3). All those different ways to solve quests they promised? Another lie: choose between hacking (sort of cyber-sniping), shooting or melee'ing your way through the thugs. Awesome choices indeed - and done in just about every modern game nowadays.
    Then there's the bugs: T-poses in cut scenes still persist, plot-stopping bugs, too. I encountered a bug where I could not start an essential mission.
    Want to play a GOOD cyberpunk shooter? Buy NECROMUNDA: HIRED GUN instead. It's a billion times better than this. I regret buying this garbage. It isn't even worth $10. This will be the last CDPR game I'll buy.
    Uninstalled for good. RIP CD Projekt-RED. But then you have the fanboys who would celebrate CDPR if they sold them a gift-wrapped turd - o wait, they did just that with Cyberpunk!!    … Expand

    It's obvious that the dev team did their best with the resources and time they had, but it was just not enough and management pushed the game out the door before Christmas to please investors. I'm pretty sure in mid 2021 this game will run far better with far less bugs, but the core gameplay is stale. The story is good but the world is empty.     I haven't finished the main story yet. But the huge amount of gameplay/immersion breaking bugs, poor AI, and performance issues even on high-end pc all keep bashing my experience to the negative side. The marketing of the game during the last two years promised a lot and only little was delivered in the current version 1.04. Overall, CP2077 is rushed and it is so unfortunate.

I pingpong on something next to me and fall all the way down and die. Load. I'm standing in front of the guys with tons of stuff I have to kill and collect their stuff and all the other things again. You know what? No.

    Pre-ordered the game and I still haven't been able to play it because it's broken. Even after two months of its release all the major bugs and AI problems persist. Moral of the story: Never pre-order any game!

    I ended refunding the game with the intent to return to this game once it's on sale.

    Paying full price for this is just ripoff. This is early access 0.1 at the best.

Just really broke immersion in a game you are supposed to be able to immerse yourself into.

O gameplay as vezes parece saindo do Skyrim ou GTA 3. O Melee é triste de se ver, tudo é genérico e truncado, o gunplay não fica muito longe. Tiros sem impacto nenhum, atirar no pé ou no peito, não tem diferença alguma, aquele "The division" feeling. A física é próxima a zero. NPCs sem reação ou reações ridículas que estão alí abarrotando o mundo só por estar, sem propósito nenhum e ainda aparecem uns 3, 4 iguais ao mesmo tempo. O stealth é de dar risada de tão fraco e ultrapassado que é. O sistema de polícia, a forma como eles respawnam, é de dar vergonha alheia. A movimentação do personagem, nem se fala. Acho que não vejo uma movimentação tão ruim desde...,sinceramente, nem consigo lembrar, E isso que é em primeira pessoa, que teoricamente serviria para camuflar a má (ou a inexistência) de movimentação do personagem, aí vc olha para a sombra dele, e kkkk. 7 anos, pra isso, sério?
    A impressão que eu tive é que os próprios devs perderam o amor pelo jogo no decorrer do desenvolvimento, como se tivessem percebido que ele não era lá aquela obra-prima tão esperada, e no final já estavam fazendo por obrigação mesmo. Dificilmente se percebe a dedicação e o amor que colocaram em Witcher 3, por exemplo. Em Witcher 3 vc percebe que eles mesmos estavam curtindo demais todo aquele universo, eram como fãs de rock que de repente tiveram a oportunidade de participar da sua banda predileta, fizeram o seu melhor e acreditaram em si mesmos e no produto do seu trabalho sempre ...toda essa sensação passa longe em CP2077. Tudo feito nas coxas. Até os gráficos, se você reparar bem, não são lá essas coisas, muito efeito e pós processamento para mascarar que a modelagem em si são padrão 2015, e olhe lá. E a falta de uma pegada mais cinematográfica prejudicou demais a percepção de gráficos bonitos. Muito potencial desperdiçado. Não justifica todo o peso do jogo. Ainda colocaram o "modinha" Keanu Reeves, muito nitidamente de última hora, é visível que ele não era uma parte do plot do game desde o início, visto a forma como a história dele é mal encaixada no lore do game, para que ele possa aparecer mais vezes no decorrer do logo. CPPR fez a fama com Witcher 3, e deitou na cama, literalmente. O agravante foi a quantidade absurda de pré-venda, por causa Witcher 3 - simplesmente, para eles isso foi um alívio quando viram que o produto final não estava nem em 30% da expectativa da comunidade. Mas fica a lição, pre-order só pensando 3 vezes antes. Enfim, CP2077 é um jogo ok, muito pela história, mas o gameplay é de 7 anos atrás. A chance de ser GOTY, só se comprarem muitas reviews mundo afora, senão tá muito difícil. Da minha parte, só fico aliviado porque não vou precisar comprar uma 3090 tão cedo.    … Expand

    Ужасная оптимизация, не спасает и RTX 3080 при отвратительной мыльной картинке. Отвратительный интерфейс. непонятно зачем сделан выбор ответов - не влияет ни на что.     No mantis blade wall climbing... no underground level, no metro rides... no police wanted sistem, only one operation scene, in the start... Unfinished buildings... cloth glitch on character... no character reflecitons just in those annoying mirrors.... this is a wery cheap and rushed game!

    "Единица" за огромное разочарование. Обещали "живой город", а получили обычный ГТА с зомби-NPC и закрытыми дверьми. Причём ГТА далеко не самой первой свежести. Количество багов просто ужасает. Поиграл 5-6 часов и решил отложить до "лучших" времён. Где-то через полгода можно будет попробовать поиграть. С таким количеством ошибок это просто неиграбельное нечто. В общем CDPR стали заложниками успеха. От них ждали очередной прорыв, а получили обычное второсортное забагованное творение. А ведь был шанс сделать просто хороший гейм. Сплошное разочарование.     Копипаста деус экс с попыткой в гта 5 обернулась полной лагующей неудачей. 7 лет, 8 млн предзаказов, громкие фразы по типу "мы никогда не выпустим то что считаем неудачным".     Сюжет уныленький и не цепляющий, а про то что игра называется- киберпанк- В ИГРЕ НЕТ ВООБЩЕ ничего киберпанковского, все эти протезы фигезы никак не обыграны, как будто это просто роботы(причем тыпые роботы) натянули частично на себя кожу людей и пытаются создать ощущение обычного города. В мире деус экс все на этом завязано и в это веришь, там людские переживания, размышления, а тут? просто шутан с псевдооткрытым миром. Я лучше в фолаут 4 еще пойду поиграю, или mankind divided.     - For a game and genre centred around customisation, it's startling that there's no way to change haircuts, get makeup, or add to body cybernetics...nothing beyond the opening customisation (mind you, customisation is basically useless in this game anyway since you can't even see your character 99% of the time, which is a problem in itself).
    - The AI is awful, so many NPCs in the city but    - For a game and genre centred around customisation, it's startling that there's no way to change haircuts, get makeup, or add to body cybernetics...nothing beyond the opening customisation (mind you, customisation is basically useless in this game anyway since you can't even see your character 99% of the time, which is a problem in itself).
    - The AI is awful, so many NPCs in the city but they offer nothing. It's worse than Skyrim.
    - The driving is terrible, so hard to steer the vehicles that I'm forced to drive slow to avoid totalling the bike. And the cars feel like they have no weight, I can crash into a big truck while driving a small car and the truck will do a 360 degree flip while my car is fine.
    - So many damn bugs. I've had NPCs with faces flickering non-stop, cars exploding randomly during missions, one time my bike got caught under a car (with me under it) and I had to reload an old save to continue. So much for the day one patch fixing all the problems lmao.
    - The world is packed but somehow feels empty. Nothing to do except boring bounties and the main mission.
    For a game that was hyped for years, with people refusing to hear any criticism, and literally worshipping the developers, I really expected so much more. The game is by no means unplayable, and I still had fun with it, but there are just so many glaring issues. If a developer like Bethesda or Ubisoft had released a game with such issues, they'd be dragged to no end and there'd be boycotts everywhere. Double standards I guess.    … Expand

    So many lies and misrepresentation in marketing up to release. Game released in a a poor state with barebones RPG mechanics and bugs up to the shoulders. Main story was pretty engaging, but extremely short and the ending was almost entirely decided by one dialogue option.     발매전 홍보와 인터뷰를 보고 예약구매했지만 막상 출시 후 플레이해보니 홍보한 내용과 게임이 180도 다름.
    요약하자면 사기꾼이 만든 게임.

    1) The Performance issues are terrible SO Bad that its basicly unplayible on XCox/PS4 and what knock, even the top 1% of PC Gamers are experiancing issues with the game, This alone would ruin normal games made by other devs
    2) The Bugs alone are terrible / game breaking, Enough alone to ruin any other normal game on its own

    I Decided to help out police at a spot with one of there random A-Holes fighting, They people where punching some random dude I Stop suddenly in a my car Got out and started shooting noticed the enemie wasnt reacting to me Ran up stared one in the eye took out my silence pistol and shot him in the head Turned notice no one gave a **** ran up to a dude and **** decided to punch one guy over and over didnt give a **** he died I Decided to sneak / grab the guy laughing at the random NPCS and threw him into the ground he glitched then went **** flying into the air after i choke him out he went flying Hit my car made it explode and the explostion killed some random street civ and The cops where like THATS IT YOUR UNDER ARREST and i got a warrent for and saw the cop across the street run out into the road after me only to get run over

    I Mean LOLZ I Love it when people pull out giant hand guns put it to there mouth and start smoking it i just lols so EPIC @ This EPIC Fail of a game.    … Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
