    The absolute worst endings I've ever encountered in any video game, ever. Hopelessly miserably and nihilistic, trash endings force the player into nonsensical damnation and suffering. Are these choices related to the choices the player makes? No. Is there any way to avoid them? No. Well perhaps don't play the game. This is aside from all the other issues QoL issues, crashes, bugs,The absolute worst endings I've ever encountered in any video game, ever. Hopelessly miserably and nihilistic, trash endings force the player into nonsensical damnation and suffering. Are these choices related to the choices the player makes? No. Is there any way to avoid them? No. Well perhaps don't play the game. This is aside from all the other issues QoL issues, crashes, bugs, superficiality in terms of world design, not much to do interaction wise besides major game loops. I think it is quite arrogant of a publisher to punish a player for finishing the game. What's worse is I felt compelled to finish the **** ending because of my time investment. This is not an RPG, it's an exercise in sadism, to disperse the artistic vision of game designers who do not respect your time or the medium. I imagine done, once again, in the name of subverting expectations. In other words, laziness. There was a chance for a great game to be made here. I suppose it is ironic that a game concerning, critiquing, and satirizing a technological dystopia becomes everything that it espouses to criticize. TLDR don't waste time, endings are garbage, lots of bugs/crashes, game loop is fine but in a NARRATIVE DRIVEN RPG THATS NOT REALLY THE POINT IS IT???!??!?!?… Expand

О проблемах этой игры, как сыроватый и недоработанный продукт и завышенные ожидания, можно говорить долго, но еще дольше можно говорить о ее прекрасных сторонах. Основной сюжет, который тесно сплетен с второстепенными ветками, очень разнообразно, эмоционально и необычно, я должен признать, что не ожидалЯ вижу, что в основном отзывы на Cyberpunk 2077 либо положительные, либо отрицательные. РПГ элементы, как выбор диалогов и крафт оружия, пусть и не на высоте, но затягивают, заинтересовывают, я реально заморачивался над некоторыми прокачками. Конечно открытый мир тоже выглядит неполноценным, да и вообще чувствуется незаконченность игры, но я надеюсь, что по крайней мере часть из этих дыр CDPR со временем закроет. Cyberpunk 2077 is..like good looking car, but no signal light and audio. It's working and you can drive it, but don't want it.     I truly can't understand all the positive reviews for this nor people claiming there are almost no bugs. I have had high hopes for this game and i enjoyed the story but constant bugs and the incredible stupid AI breaks immersion all the time.
    Especially the car AI is one of the worst i have ever seen with absolutely no thought put into it.     When it comes to bugs, this game is nearly broken. Cars keep appearing out of nowhere and disappearing into nowhere right in front of you. On missions AI cars run you over because none of them are even programmed to mind you at all. If you get police on you, have fun with 10 npc spawning right on you and instantly killing you. There are absolutely no rules what spawns and despawns when and where.
    Sometimes it's so bad that you cannot even progress anymore because some conversation is stuck.

    I usually dont really care to much about bugs nor write reviews about it, i accept things going wrong like in Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption etc , but this game punches you in the face constantly with all kinds of bugs which i find is an insult considering how long this game took to be released.

    This game isn't all bad but unfortunately it is enough to get completely frustrated with it. If you play the game entirely for the story, then you will have fun with it. If you want a halfway deep, immersive and polished game, you best stay away from it.    … Expand

    This is not a review bomb but rather my honest opinion.

    I can't in good faith give this game a positive rating when the developers showed so little love for it. Not one element of this game is bug free. There are glitches all throughout the main story mission which you would think would have received the most amount of testing and QA, but apparently not.     I’ve played the game throughout and I can confidently give it a 1/10. I’ve wasted my money on it. Terrible story and mechanics. They’ve over hyped this game that should have been a beta release. Maybe it is open world but you can’t enter any buildings or interact with any NPCs. DO NOT BUY.

    The design and graphics really good but yeah... a REALLY bad game so MUCH bugs, npc are COMPLETELY broken. Some characters have no head, animations are horrible so much texture bugs the map is broken too. We waited 8 YEARS and sawed this game a really big frustration.

    Graphically the game looks fantastic and the artists truly did an amazing job of creating a wonderful city that feels alive for the most part but that is unfortunately where the positives end. When it comes to gameplay, I truly believe this is one of the worst video games ever made, ever. I just finished Mafia Definitive Edition before jumping into my cyberpunk playthrough and I canGraphically the game looks fantastic and the artists truly did an amazing job of creating a wonderful city that feels alive for the most part but that is unfortunately where the positives end. When it comes to gameplay, I truly believe this is one of the worst video games ever made, ever. I just finished Mafia Definitive Edition before jumping into my cyberpunk playthrough and I can confidently say that game, made in 2002, has better AI, gunplay, movement, pretty much anything that involves gameplay, is better in a game that was made 20 years ago (and with way less bugs too). Honestly, cyberpunk just feels like a graphics engine showcase and yeah the graphics look great but they maybe should've made an actual finished video game to go with it.     Game needed at least 7 more months of work.
    This is what happens when you spend all your budget on movie actors and marketing.

    All respect lost for CDPR, they are EA level now.

    The entire cyberpunk world is dull. NPC treats you like a ghost, AI in the game is horrible. Bugs, glitches and performance can always be fixed, but the content and features are lacking so much, I hope they don't move on and start making another game before adding more post-game contents. This really feels like an early access game with little content aside from missions after missions.

    With proper patches and fixes, this game could conceivably get to 4/10 territory. Or “below average”

You'll need a decent machine to get the best out of it (even a 3080 has to fall back on VFR and dynamic resolution if you want to crank it up), but even at low settings it can produce some impressive results.

    From there, though, it rapidly goes downhill...

    Sticking with the visuals, while they're *technically* impressive, from an aesthetic point of view they're hard to look at. I'm not entirely sure how to describe it other than it reminds me of visiting Miami's South Beach in the 80s! It's not gritty, it's not sleek, it's just a load of visual noise assaulting the eyes, and the only thing that suggests this is "the future" is that everything has a touch panel on it.

    Apart from a brief montage towards the start of the game the entire thing is presented in a first person view -- there are no cutscenes, so most of the story beats are awkwardly presented through exposition by either forcing you to sit down (resulting in something very much akin to how character interactions work in Skyrim), or by having the character that you're talking too awkwardly turn to face you as you move around. As a result the dramatic moments lack any of the impact that comes from careful pacing and direction, and as there's *soooooo* much dialogue I started skipping through it as fast as I could read the subtitles -- I could watch that scene where Geralt meets the Bloody Baron over and over again, but sitting and awkwardly staring at another character for any longer than 30 seconds starts to get tiresome after the 10th conversation, and as some of these actually drag on for several minutes I came close to switching it to "skip conversation" instead of "skip to next line".

    Now on to gameplay. It's dull, dull dull dull, dull, and dull. (Also a bit dull.) In part that's because it's yet another game with a gameplay loop of "go to the place, kill the bad guys" which is getting a bit stale now, but even all the bits that *aren't* that just create new ways of being dull. For example there's a mechanic that's kind of like the souped up Detective Vision from whichever Arkham game it was that added the "investigating an area in time as well as space" thing, but it's overcomplicated and takes *forever* as you're forced to scrub backwards and forwards repeatedly, listen to long protracted bits of dialog in the reconstruction followed by interminable dialog between your character and some NPCs. Even the tutorial that introduced the mechanic was too long, and that was brief in comparison to the times you'll be doing it in-game. (On the other hand there's a hacking minigame that wasn't really explained at all, and I'm just "solving" them by trial and error.)

    Combat is... fine, I guess. Not sure how it feels on console, but using a controller on PC is unpleasant experience; when you're looking down your weapon's sight there's a sort of "acceleration" to aiming that I could never get the hang of -- adjusting some of the sensitivity sliders helped a bit, but in the end I had to go keyboard and mouse. Fine at a desk, less useful if I'm sitting on the sofa playing on the TV.

    There's also stealth and a "hack the devices" business so you can avoid a lot of combat, but it somehow manages to be overly simplistic as well as needlessly complicated. There's not a lot of hacking options available but pulling them off is fiddly, and attempting to make it easier by stacking your skill points into the appropriate area of the skill tree is a bad idea as some combat is unavoidable, and it's usually against a "boss" that you'll struggle with if you've not invested in your combat skills.

    Now bugs. Lots of bugs. Some are minor -- random NPCs with weird pathing or that just spawn a few feet in front of you is distracting enough, but I've had to replay several missions multiple times because of glitches; my character has T-posed and teleported hundreds of meters outside the mission area with no way of getting back in, progression-essential NPCs have got stuck on world geometry, objectives have just failed to update, and I've had more than one crash. (And *every* time I close the game it crashes.)

    I've stopped playing for the day, and I'll be honest: I don't know if I'm going to bother playing any more. It's got all the bugs and awkward "cinematics" of Skyrim, the hacking and stealth feels like a poor knockoff of Watchdogs, it burns my retinas with the gold lamé and dayglo aesthetic, it's buggy and needs a lot of polish, and most importantly it's just not fun to play.    … Expand

    I can see where it’s wanting to go but it’s not there yet. Unfortunately the bugs pull you out of the game (sometimes literally) so I might hold off playing any further till the next gen release is sorted.

    Currently a 5 but will eventually be a 9 or 10 once they fix things. Giving it a 4 because they only gave out pc versions of the game to review.

Sure, every game has issues on launch but this is beyond acceptable especially given all the delays. I wonder where the "better delayed than unfinished" people are at, because this is unfinished. At this point, I honestly don't believe that they were working on fixing any bugs during this time.     Where it really ticks me off is the lack of features and care for the world and gameplay. Many characters and features were hyped up only to be holding doors to a club. Companies and lore barely makes appearance.
    The absolute insult is that many of the systems are barebone, barely work or a damn right placeholder.
    If you tell me the AI or Cops are not a placeholder idk what games have you played.
    The UI is so bad and inconsistent/ buggy and messy. Yes they have not finished the main systems or have placeholders so why polish a UI that should be 100% reworked in the future. Who in their right mind thought it's a good idea to put car dealers in the quest tabs and clusterfuk the map which has no filters.

    Also the story line bugged and i don't get a call to continue the development of my relationship with a character which locks out one of the endings. Considered the best by many and which i personally want.
    Was playing for the short story but killing my culmination because of bugs is the final nail in the coffin.

    Final verdict: Wait a year to get patched from bugs, Wait a few content DLCs that actually adds life to the shiny but shallow world and pick it up for 10-20 bucks on sale. Right now play with very low expectations or turn off your brain and look through rose tinted glass. I have played 500+ hours of GTA and haven't touched it in ages but this game makes me want to go back and use it as eye bleach as it's a better open world rpg...    … Expand

    All these 10’s must be from PC players because the PS4 Pro version looks horrible runs sometimes at 20fps dips to 720p and controls badly, if this game was made strictly for PC or PS5 then it should have only been sold for PC and PS5.

    The AI is stupid.... I occasionally trigger police alerts just to level up because you can kill the 3 or 4 waves they send your way without dying fairly easily, then you just walk away after said waves and your 5 star rating just kind of goes away...    … Expand

    Short of spending $2500 on a beast rig that can play this game stably, and due to my own financial challenges during COVID, I can't do that. So I'm stuck playing a game that has bad graphics and STILL has bad performance, a terrible inventory system, terrible samey loot that is just a small assortment of the same few weapon types (SMGs all the same, ARs all the same, Shotguns all feel the same, etc.)

    I know CDPR was treading on new ground here. Their forte is the Witcher and RPGs. FPS shooters is not something they've done for that and I can appreciate the ballsy nature of giving fans something they weren't expecting. But at the end of the day I find myself wandering back to the truly great games this gen; The Last of Us, AC Valhalla, etc.

    My desire to play Cyber Punk is very low. Its so buggy that I'm actually stuck in a bug where it quick saved right before I die instantly for some unknown reason. I don't want to start the mission ALL the way over again (its a longer one) by restarting way earlier saves. I find myself not really wanting to play it at all.

    This has been such a depressingly crappy way to end the year. I wish they delayed it another 6 months. I want that next-gen amazing game we were promised. I'd rather have that in 6 months than a husk of what it could have been now.

    I don't see this series going far. I doubt they'll make another. Professional reviews seem bought and paid for, or they are just playing on high end beast rigs and by some miracle aren't experiencing the myriad bugs the rest of us are. I preordered this game the minute it was open for preorders. This has been my biggest disappointment in the gaming industry in living memory.

    Please go back to the Witcher 4 or something else. You tried the futuristic noir where megacorps run the world. The fans aren't happy with it. Learn the lesson and move on CDPR. You're better than this. You are capable of greatness, and again, due to COVID we likely lost a lot of quality due to that. So trying to be as fair as possible, I'll chalk it up to a great game that released at the worst time possible.

    At this current time, it's a game that was way too overhyped. I'd rather play a more respectable game like Bugsnax. Just saying, Bugsnax, a game designed for 5 yr olds, still makes this game look lackluster.

    I'd say I'm more amused with all the problems this game has rather than being disappointed with what was produced.

Есть визуальные баги, но почему-то их у меня почти нет, так же как и в рдр2 и в вальгале(у меня иногда появляется чувство, что у меня какие-то особенные версии игр, я вообще не вижу те баги которые есть у других людей, я хз почему так). Сюжет мне нравится(я не до конца ещё прошёл). Мне постоянное желание вернуться в игру и чтобы в ней ночь неОна невероятно красивая особенно ночью. Будет нечто. Но я был слеп. После прохождения Cyberpunk 2077 я прозрел. Посмотрев сейчас на все эти трейлеры я понимаю, что любая игра делается так же, запись музыки и звуков, захват движений. Во всех играх, с более-менее приемлемым бюджетом все делается именно так же. Но кто об этом говорит? Кто говорит о базовых вещах в своей работе? Никто, кроме CDPR. А все потому, что это часть мощнейшей и самой масштабной маркетинговой кампании в индустрии. И она сработала, я повелся, миллионы повелись.

    Обещали огромную реиграбельность, вариативность прохождения, диалоги влияющие на судьбы и окружающий мир. А что в итоге получили? Проходишь игру либо как банальный шутер напролом, либо через примитивный от части неработающий стелс. На концовку не влияет ничего, вообще(кроме секретной). Все выборы тебе дают только перед последней миссией, а в мире кроме однообразного гринда нет ничего. Единственный вариативный квест, в самом начале игры, который на половину заспойлерили в демонстрации на E3.

    Обещали Next gen open world.
    А получили красивые пустые коробки в виде зданий и декораций в виде рекламы. Мир без каких либо активностей, развлечений, случайных событий и нулевой симуляцией жизни. В этом мире вообще нечего делать, кроме как ходить делать скриншоты и смотреть рекламу.

    Обещали Next gen RPG.
    А получили абсолютно ни на что не влияющие 3 пролога, с выбором предыстории персонажа, ресурсы на создание которых можно было бы пустить хотя бы на то, чтобы сделать работающих полицейских! А так же прокачка которая кроме пассивных бонусов практически ничего не дает.    … Expand

    The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
