    This Game is so buggy and with so much trouble, it is ridiculuos.

    Even it if it would work perfectly, it would still be a lame mixup of GTA and Fallout.

    Cyberpunk is an unremarkable, cynical, poorly written, obnoxious game. Even without all the bugs, it fails on all counts. The shooting is not good, the game design is tedious, the world is dirty and ugly, and the body horror is exhausting. The music is truly truly awful. It claims to be an rpg but provides no classes, few customization options, and doesn't even let you pick a name. Deus ExCyberpunk is an unremarkable, cynical, poorly written, obnoxious game. The character creator is also gimmicky, and is far worse than many older games even. The world building is idiotic. I find myself rolling my eyes fairly regularly. Also, apparently in the future everyone looks like gigantic jack-wagon. Not a good game. Admittedly, I had very little good will going into this given the games edgelord marketing, (a context that makes the whole Bladerunner "Edgerunner" ripoff even more ridiculous) and I have to say it is somewhat vindicating to watch CDPR fail so spectacularly. They named one of the first characters you meet "Pepe". Bite me. I played this on a beefy computer. I am significantly above recommended specs. Even with that the game is profoundly broken. It just looks awful. Do not spend money on this, do not encourage CDPR. They need to be put in timeout for squirting out this demon-seed. It's not the worst game of all time, but taken as a whole, it is awful. Play something else. It is repulsive and idiotic. As I write this, Jackie's chopstick has just frozen in mid air.… Expand

    I'm tired of this companies selling unfinished products. Bugs, glitches, lack of core elements to any rpg, open-world game, misleading and over hyped advertising. I'm not saying you can't enjoy the game at its current state but, imagine ordering a burger and getting only the buns and a slice o tomato, they may be one of the best you've ever tasted (story, artwork) but where's the patty,I'm tired of this companies selling unfinished products. I'm not saying you can't enjoy the game at its current state but, imagine ordering a burger and getting only the buns and a slice o tomato, they may be one of the best you've ever tasted (story, artwork) but where's the patty, the lettuce, the @#!*$ pickle? I paid for this so I expect nothing less than the full experience and all I got was wasted potential, I have no doubt they want to make a franchise out of this so they will eventually fix it but it's just frustrating seeing how this behavior is becoming the norm, specially from a company that states to "leave greed to others". If I pre-order a game ever again, which I highly doubt after this fiasco, CD Projekt Red will permanently remain in my list of developers not to do so.

The game was rushed by all means and CDPR was basically just buckling under the pressure presented to them. The art of Cyberpunk 2077 is by far the best part of the title, because beyond that, it is a game that, if it had been made by another studio other than CD Proyekt, would have been absolutely destroyed by the critics.

    In my opinion, the game needed at least three more years of development, two for content and one more to polish details/fix bugs. Cyberpunk 2077, despite being 9 years in development, has less content than a 2013 (and past generation) game like GTA V, which also had a relatively similar development time.

    Furthermore, it is impossible to ignore the fact that CD Proyekt deceived its players by showing them a product that differed greatly from the final result.

    In short, Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that had everything to be one of the best games ever created, but thanks to the immense expectation of it, it ended up being the biggest disappointment of the decade, and what is worse, destroying the reputation of a study that had proved to be different from the others.    … Expand

    Remember when you thought your lifepath will matter? Well it doesn't, finishing every single one takes maybe 15 minutes, it only adds maybe one non significant dialog per 15 conversations. Guess what it doesn't matter too, your character will most of the time look like a clown, you can only wish to be dressed like some of NPC's in game. If we are talking about NPC's then they are complete disaster too, probably GTA San Andreas had better AI if it comes to NPC's and Police (the guys who just randomly appear behind 5 metres behind you when you do some illegal stuff). You thought you will have living open world which you can interact with? There is completely nothing to do in Night City besides doing main and side quests. You don't have barbers, tattoo salons, no extra activities just nothing. Game seems unfinished in every aspect, you can see it even in romances. After you finish questline with any character that you can romance with there is nothing after. It justs ends after it basically starts, you dont have even any new dialogs or stuff. I feel like this game could be what it was supposed to be if it was released in next year, but now it feels just rushed and unfinished. CDPR still have opportunity to turn this into something great by adding all of missing content, but I really doubt they will bother with that.    … Expand

I think if you are going to fail to innovate then you need to make your implementation of tried and tested ideas at least as good as they were when they were first introduced. You should be improving everything to create a synergistic interconnection of disparate gameplay elements which enthrals and engages, bemuses and delights your audience. You need WOW moments. You need technology that works. You need state of the art quality of life decisions.

    If you want to see how to make a brilliant, open world RPG look no further than Horizon: Zero Dawn, which I played earlier this year and thoroughly enjoyed, despite there being nothing “new” in it, but it had an engaging story, rock solid game mechanics and several WOW moments that I will likely never forget.

    They say Cyberpunk 2077 has been in development for 8 years, and it does feel exactly like an ordinary 8 year old game - tired and irrelevant. I was briefly star struck by Johnny Silverhand/Keanu Reeves, but very soon his dialogue and personality began to annoy and mystify as much as delight and inform.

    What exactly were the “principles” that he was supposed to be living by? They were never made clear, and seemed to consist of blowing things up and causing trouble. And why did he just give up on life? Was his presence in V’s life ever anything but a major PITA?

    For a game that created such anticipation Cyberpunk 2077 really falls way short of the mark, for all the reasons you’ve heard elsewhere. Where are the big set pieces? When Silverhand blows up a building with a nuke you don’t even see the thing go off. And there is subsequently no explanation of how he could even do that and survive. The main story line is curiously bereft of anything remotely engaging.

    The whole foundation of the game, the entire premise upon which it is built, is tired and old. The writing varies between brilliance, and extremely poor. Perhaps different writers were used for different sections, or maybe the writers just got bored.

    Of the three starting characters only the nomad V makes any sense with what comes immediately after. When starting as the street punk, Jackie even says to V that it’s weird he doesn’t already know you, given that the community you BOTH COME FROM is so tight knit, like one big family. Indeed.

    On top of all of that Night City just isn’t a pleasant place to play in. It’s thronged with the disaffected dregs of humanity, with litter and decay everywhere. And it’s unremitting, with the only beauty belonging to the rich, who have jungle plants growing inside their lift shafts in a desperate attempt to introduce some hint of greenery.

    The badlands surrounding the city are empty, brown grasslands with desperate communities scrabbling for existence. So, no relief there.

    The whole thing is tawdry, badly assembled and ill-founded from the start, so unlike The Witcher 3, which had genuine moments of real beauty and mystery as well as (eventually) a robust engine on which to run things.

    I wish I had stuck to my initial instinct - to pick this up in a year’s time for a tenner in a sale.    … Expand

Some of which forced me to role back to a previous save loosing 15h of progression. CDPR's marketing was deliberately deceptive. The game is a shell of what it was advertised to be and in its current state couldn't even be called complete.Overall I've found this game to be a real disappointment.     They focus on console versions on their apology video like it has no issues or just a "few bugs" on PC, even if they fix all the bugs, the game is empty. AI is braindead, countless features removed, probably needs 2 more years of development to be finished.

From its eventual launch date in a broken state, riddled with bugs, glitches, poor performance, audio clipping, and more, to present day with only 3 'updates', I feel betrayed, insulted and ashamed by CDPR. I really do hope and wish that Cyberpunk one day see's good updates, performance improvementsCyberpunk 2077 has been the single biggest let-down I have ever been through with a game. From its eventual launch date in a broken state, riddled with bugs, glitches, poor performance, audio clipping, and more, to present day with only 3 'updates', I feel betrayed, insulted and ashamed by CDPR. Por single player eu nem faria pre-compra, marketing suja. Atualmente se encontra por -50%, ou seja, paguei o dobro pra ter mesma experiência que qualquer um que compre hoje em dia, palhaçada. Se voltar a terFiz pré-compra para acostumar com a mecânica e estar em dia no multiplayer, meses depois anuncia que não teria mais multiplayer free e nem DLCs free, assunto abafado, fui enganado. I waited so long for this game (because I loved The Witcher series) for it to be like this. It's amazing how such a big company, especially with the track record of creating The Witcher, one of the best RPG-series can make such a bad game.
    Anyway, to keep it short. The only good thing with the game is the first hour and the Enviroments (which are amazing at times). The rest is bad.

    Keanu Reeves is a good actor but the devs destroyed this game by adding him. Makes me feel like I am his side character versus it being any kind of RPG it was promised. And at this stage there is NOTHING that can fix this as its hard baked into the whole game. Did not mind the bugs as mush as being railroaded down a trite story that has been done so many times.

It is as mediocre as any game can be, the story has amazing moments (Jackie/Johnny), offset by a lot of garbage (Johnny) as well... As well as the myth that choices of any kind in the game matter, it is a play our way game and all other choices, even the best ending are trash... The game promised a lot, and I think the premise that it never could have lived up to the hype is ignorance. All it had to do was be Witcher in a Cyberpunk world. Instead they delivered Cyberpunk, a world of XXX **** stores at every corner, no Cyberpunk museums, zoos, or anything else, just XXX sex shops everywhere and a bunch of stuff you cannot enter and a mediocre experience of removed features across the board. Features like create you own weapons and armor work worse than any other game, let alone comparisons to Witcher. If you created too many items it would corrupt your save game in the first month. With no fix ever, until it was patched. This is a Bethesda level game breaking bug, but they are CD Projekt Red so... ignore reality and 10/10 even though it innovates on nothing and is subpar compared to Witcher 3.… Expand

    This was absolutely disturbing experience. Cars bug into each other. My bike was stuck in one and flew up into the air with a metal sound bursting particles of metal around. NPCs look basic, path finding system is awful. They bump into each other, snap turn 180 degrees and stuff like that. LODs load up right in front of you (low settings rtx 2060). Neone style doesn't make it feel cyberpunk at all. It just feels like fat lady sexual fantasy to be honest. FPS drops down a lot. Raytracing? In your 2060 rtx dreams. Feels more like borderlands 3 + Far cry new dawn or sleeping dogs legion. If it was 3rd person i'd not even notice a difference. After 3 hours of play time i felt extremely dizzy. I still feel like i'm about to puke and it lasted for 2 hours already. I don't know how graphics of videogame could cause it, the last time that only happened when i was playing Oculus DK2 VR.     Terrible NPC, driving and cop AI. The world isn't anywhere near as interactive as I thought it would be.

    This game has been overrated / overestimated. Apart from tons of bugs and series optimization, the game itself is very boring. The main quests are boring, side quests are even worse! Interaction with NPC cannot compare with Red Dead Redemption 2, customisation is very limited. You better off saving your money for something else.

    All in all, do not buy this game.

    The "lifepaths" also deserve a mention, because it's obvious that they have been pretty much cut out from the game almost completely, at least the one I've played. The corpo prologue can be completed in FIFTEEN minutes or so. It has ZERO actual gameplay and could've been easily presented as a cutscene instead.

    I should also mention PC performance. In short, don't even try running this game if your hardware is not significantly above recommended specs (and that's for playing at 1080p with Ray Tracing off). I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX1660 Super and I can barely get above 45FPS average on a mix of mostly medium and low settings. So basically recommended specs = minimum specs.    … Expand

    CDPR had a reputation of being an honest game maker and I'm really a big fan of RPGs and open world games like the witcher 3 and fallout 4. I poured probably about 200 hours total into the witcher 3, playing the whole base game and both DLCs. I figured cyberpunk would be at least decent.

    So I get Cyberpunk on steam for PC, boot it up and start playing. I figured out within about the first hour or so of gameplay that life paths don't really play that big of a part in the game, leading up to launch, CDPR said it would be a part of the game but it wasn't.

    Besides that, the story is decent but I think they made it too short for an RPG game. Red dead 2, gta 5 aren't even RPGs and they have a longer storyline, fallout 4 has a ton of side quests and the fact you can choose different factions to have different endings. Cyberpunk has no such system. The story feels rushed.

    Now for my problems with the game mechanics, CDPR said they would release cp 2077 when it was ready and the game mechanics don't look like those of a game that is ready in 2020. Besides all of the bugs, which I am willing to forgive since all games have bugs and they can get patched, the game mechanics are a major letdown.

    GTA 5, a game released 7 years ago has better game mechanics. The driving system is clunky and unrealistic, NPCs look like zombies that barely even react to you, in GTA 5 a npc can either fight you or run away but NPCs in cyberpunk just run away. In GTA 5, if you shoot water, you see a splash but in cyberpunk there is no splash. In GTA 5 if you throw a grenade in the water, it makes a boom sound and you see water ripples but not in cyberpunk. The wanted system is a disaster, the cops just spawn on foot and don't chase you in cars.

    This was not the game that was promised to us, and I have the pc version. Console players have it much much worse.    … Expand

    Tenía muchas ganas de que llegara este juego y después de tantos retrasos me esperaba que al menos fuera decente, jugable, disfrutable, pero ha salido lleno de bugs y con una optimización pésima en PC. No dudo que en condiciones óptimas este sería uno de los mejores juegos de los últimos años pero si principalmente no puedes disfrutarlo, se acaba todo.

    - Graphics. - Destructive environment, when they actually use it (so far they did once). - Detailed animations.     - Cops are spawning and despawning right in front of you, extremely annoying.
    - Johnny tends to spawn in middle of dialogues, so up to four voicelines are playing at the same time.
    - Mods / implants do almost nothing, again numerical upgrades (mostly).
    - I felt like I'm watching a video, missed the "game" part.

    I'm open to update my review and I sincerely hope devs will improve the game. Right now, it's a sad story.    … Expand

    And I thought that BFV and Fallout 76 are bad games and studios that made them hit rock bottom.
    Now it feels like those game were great and those studios are not so bad in comparison.
    CD Project lost my trust forever. Still can't believe I was stupid enough to pre-order this garbage...

That kind of launch would be transparent and allow players to understand what they're in for at this stage. But that's not how this product was marketed. With the game's themes of techno-feudalism and late stage capitalism, it's oddly meta for CDPRSad state of affairs. I wanted to like this game but it's beyond buggy.     The art is beautiful, the music is beautiful. It's a nice painting to walk around in (when it's working). But the city is devoid of soul. The citizens are on loops and you can't interact with them (they ignore you). It's like watching the gears in a clock.

    You can run around stealing whatever you want at any time without consequence. The police appear out of of nowhere. You can't rebind the action key. If I go from my laptop to a monitor, the game resolution gets screwed up. If you're on PC with AMD, have fun reading forums to sort out how to optimize for your processor.

    It's an RPG set in the future and you can't change your appearance. Barbers, tattoo artists and plastic surgeons don't exist in the future?

    Open world games like RDR2 set the bar for environment interaction and this game doesn't come anywhere close to that. 10 year old games do driving better. The original half-life did enemy AI better. 8 years for this...?

    The quality and technical issues I've frankly only started listing had me asking for a refund, but I was denied by STEAM because my 6 hrs trying to get it working exceeds the 2 hrs playing maximum. LAEARN FROM MY MISTAKE.

    CDPR presented themselves as pro-consumer during this marketing cycle. I believed them. CDPR deserves the same derision that other AAA developers (EA, Ubi,etc) would receive for this kind of launch. They're now on that list of dubious publishers IMHO.

    Don't buy it yet. If you can refund it, refund it. See if they fix the issues and implement promised features, earn back trust, and *maybe* buy again at a discount down the road. This is a sad state of affairs. Don't spend $80cdn on a tech demo/early access.    … Expand

    If it wasnt for the crashes and bugs this game would have been a 8.5 maybe a 9. Played 30 hours so far and have crashed 30 times some of those where back to back

    Unpolished, full of bugs and crashes constantly. Unplayable on medium or lower-end PCs either due to game errors or simply hideous graphics. The game is either poorly optimised or was designed for the next-gen video cards. This is what happens then all of you immature **** demand CDPR rELeasE tHe gAmE NoWW!!! It's your own damn fault.

    How to make money and brainwash people? Tell everyone that you are making greatest game of all time and apparently people will believe you. "develop" it for 8 years, but actually just make jokes on twitter and spend max 3 years on development. Don't allow anyone to post gameplay footage "because of spoilers" until game has been released. Release unfinished mess. Profit.

    -The story feels very uninspired.
    -The graphics aren't that great even on Max.
    -The game has serious optimization issues and lots of bugs.
    This is NOT the next gen we've been waiting for. Nothing about this game screams 'next gen experience'. This game is outright a scam.

    Cyberpunk 2077 chegou ao ps4 slim em um estado injogavel, cheio de bugs que atrapalham o progresso das missões, quedas de frames, armas que não renderizam, inimigos que aparecem do nada e também o jogo crasha demais, ta simplesmente ridículo

I am using the PS4 version for the PS5 and I will give CD points for deign and saturated interactions & details, but it is just not playable. The games stops you with game breaking bugs and crashes. Not only making it run badly, but look like a blury PS3 title. Waypoints don't pop up, dialoge selection and mechanics don'tI am going to rate this with honesty and as it is upon release.     The best metaphor for Cyberpunk 2077 is Johnny Silverhand himself. A messiah, a mix of Kurt Cobain and Che Guevara, a talented singer who loves to shape his own legend and has a charming personality but loses the struggle with his own demons. The same goes for the game. It tells a great story and forced me to ask myself difficult questions, but many of its gameplay mechanics do not evolve and its technical state upon release was abysmal. Cyberpunk’s true hero is not a person, but Night City – a vibrant, living creature of great diversity. The beauty of the metropolis is striking. [01/2021, p.22]

    Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most disturbing and mind-blowing RPGs in history, where every decision has a deep impact on our trail. CD Projekt RED tosses us to the center of a city filled with disgusting delights where every character deserves our attention in an immersive experience and overall, very rewarding. From the sarcastic and shadowy tone imposed by the countless scenes in the game, to the flexibility we have on the choices to face every situation that is presented, Night City is truly memorable. It’s a shame that the countless bugs spoil or diminish the impact of some resounding moments, but we are without a question, in the presence of one of the best games in 2020.

    Measured against the extreme expectations, Cyberpunk 2077 can't fulfill any of them. But all in all, despite the countless small weaknesses and inconsistences, with interesting characters, great story and dialogues or the freedom concerning gameplay, CD Projekt delivers a unique and great RPG that every fan of the genre needs to play.
