    I made some tests: target is 3 meters away, I aim at its head with an M4, completely static. Three separated shots (no spraying). NONE OF THEM HIT!!! Not even talking about the "nerfed" Deagle. If CS:S was a betrayal to the the 1.6 community, CS:GO is an insult. Worst purchase on steam to date.

    Removed content from previous counter strikes, like flashlight, suppressors, night vision and some weapons.

    The game feels unfinished, unbalanced weapons and bad player movement.

    Hopefully they keep updating the game and adding/fixing stuff.

    Honestly, what the hell is Valve doing? With a broken and useless anti-cheat system, imbalanced guns, and many factors of the game that need to be rectified (such as faulty hit-boxes and certain gun mechanics), all Valve is releasing is more cases to buy and pointless in-game sound/model updates.     With a broken and useless anti-cheat system, imbalanced guns, and many factors of the game that need to be rectified (such as faulty hit-boxes and certain gun mechanics), all Valve is releasing is more cases to buy and pointless in-game sound/model updates.

    They've even gone as far as releasing a Glove Case where they replace knives with gloves. GLOVES!

    I used to really like this game, but now it is simply unplayable and more frustrating than enjoyable. With Valve clearly prioritizing making as much money as possible through minimal effort, its no wonder this game as well as its community is becoming worse each and every day.    … Expand

    This game used to be amazing, I remember around 2014 ish I had picked up the game and I couldn't put it down. I would play so many matches a day and it was just amazing. I felt like I actually had a chance. I was actually picking people off, I was actually getting kills, I felt like I was apart of something. People were always toxic and I think that is just fine. I know I am horrible at games but no matter how much I tried, I could never get kills, the game felt super unbalanced. It just felt like a new game and it was something I am actually sad that I have in my library. I spent so much time in this game and it sucks to see that they destroyed something that was literally perfect. Why change something that wasn't at all broken!? It just saddens me so much. I hope one day it will return but sadly I don't think I ever will, I think I had my time with this game and it would take too much out of me to turn back.… Expand

    This game is just terrible. What funny thing can you find there? Battlefield is good for graphic and battle with 64 players, Titanfall is interesting because of dynamic, Team Fortress 2 is great of his atmosphere, but there aren't any interesting in CS:Go

    Very good game and gameplay. Cheaters are a VERY big problem currently and that is what made me stop playing. Skins are pretty cool too but some can be very expensive(but cool too). There is also a matchmaking system which needs improvement but is playable.

    The first time playing Counter strike Global Offensive, I was so excited, seeing the trailer and how it was upgraded for graphics, the game was perfect. But the bad side to the game was later on it became more of a game where players online would just want to get drops at the end of a match, or just completely make the game so ugly to even want to play.

    Cs:go is such a good game. The hit detection is great. The spawns are perfect and those maps. there all so good. The best part is the variety of game modes there is and if your board you can play the community servers which has more content then this game ever had.

Даже добавление нового оружия, снаряжения вообще не спасают положения. Рассчитана для глубокого онанирования.     Great game yet very boring after it gets old.

    Unlike Moba games, shooting games are just shooting nothing else until community servers and modes came but however none of them are fun but are entertaining to try. What I was expecting to play were Zombie mode, Those skate things, free hosting servers and no battle camping royale but not all of them are there.     What I dislike about this game are

    -Their server's giving laggers an advantage who are hard to shoot because of their lag

    -Battle Royale mode which I need a lot of Explosives to make those campers stop camping in the building and get out so I can kill them or they'll blow up into pieces which I still killed them.

    -Cheaters in casual which doesn't blind the players who are already killed and is spectating the game keeps chatting or voice chatting or screen sharing their spectate.

    -Hackers who does aimbots, wall hacks and other hacks that improves their gameplay with no skill involved. I THOUGHT STEAM FIXED THAT WITH THEIR MONEY?!

    This game failed, play a different game. That's why it's free to play I hope they're done milking the battle royale mode so they'll start milking the zombie mode except there are copy righted music in the zombie mode that's why they never milked it.    … Expand

    Not have good update a lot of time, they can update only **** skins. A good anti-cheat only on paid servers, then why create your own servers where there are neither admins nor normal anti-cheat. The game is still not able to use a lot of thread processor cores.

    i personally dont like this game as i feel the skill ceiling is too high and im not a fan of the hipfiring mechanic

    i do like how you can swap weapons with q tho

    id say try it out and if you like it good for you but its personally not for me

    The gameplay is nice however the devs are super greedy. A single in game skin shouldn't go for over 100$?? I guess you gotta milk the cow for as long as it produces milk =)) Pointless cosmetics that ruin the feel of the game. You want me to believe that a SpecOps team would go around and graffity the map? Then they would be special indeed...

Let's get started right away. The hitboxes suck. Like, really bad. It's a known issue but to my knowledge it has not been dealt with yet, which is unacceptable, considering how bad they are. One time I had a famas and I hid next to a crate and 3 guys walked by and I opened fire at their legs and they all dropped dead with like 1-2 leg shots each. The new maps are almost all terrible, and the ones that are good are only good when the teams play it properly. The best map is vertigo, which is this 3 level building map. Some of the low points of this map include the fact that when you fall of the side, you die halfway down the decent. Most maps are ugly and alot of them are basically a source map with a few textures and tiny things like trash bins and stuff added in. The game is very shiny, but in a bad way, it's like they wanted it to be playable on 2007 hardware, but also be able to look great on 2012 hardware. The result is a game playable on low hardware, but with terrible graphics even cranked up. Not that anybody plays with bots, but the AI for them sucks anyway. One easy-medium, if they see you they literally point your gun at you and pause for like a half second, and in a game where reflexes win 70% of the battles, its more than enough time to kill them. Some weapons do way to much damage, like the awp. If you shoot a guy in the foot with an awp, it can easily be lethal.

    The good point(s) are a few tiny things that don't really matter, but if I'm giving this a 2 it need something, so basically the 2 good points are 1. The fact that if your playing as CT's and you start on vertigo you see the chopper that landed you there take off and 2. the fact that in multiplayer you can't be a one man team (to an extent, honestly if your in the right place with a longer ranged rifle or other weapons that go unusually far, you can pick off like half a team before you get hit in the leg by a lucky smg round that instantly kills you.    … Expand

    Can't recomend this if you live in europe. The game itself is one of the best counter strike games, but since the european servers are filled with 50% russians that speak in russian constantly on voice com, and if you show a sign of not being russian they kick you. This game really need some dedicated servers for the russians..

    So again, NOT recomended if you're playing in europe..

Уделяя огромное количество времени кейсам, разработчики перестали уделять внимание самой игре. А тем самым в игре появилось огромное количество читеров, с которыми никто, кроме самих игроков не борется. VAC совершенно    Вери бэд гейм.

А тем самым в игре появилось огромное количество читеров, с которыми никто, кроме самих игроков не борется. VAC совершенно ужасный, читы выявляет только ну очень глупых людей, которые в начале раунда убивают сразу пятерых в голову с респа. Не глупо ли это?
    С точки зрения Valve это очень прибыльно, так как в игре присутствует "Патруль" - игроки, наигравшие определённое количество часов и имеющие определённые звания, которые смотрят демку и определяют читер ли игрок или нет. И вот человеческий фактор может сыграть на руку читерам. Если один раз игрока забанили, то он может купить игру на другом аккаунте ещё раз и попробовать играть более скрытно. Таких игроков огромное количество и деньги с продаж соответственно капают в кошелёк Гейба. Именно поэтому никто не делает нормальный VAC и появилось огромное количество читеров.

    One-dimensional camping pro positional shooter. I gave it a 2/10 because Valorant set the new low. At least guns here feel solid (still nothing compared to Apex Legends).

Gameplay is mediocre and lacks any originality. Graphics were outdated even when it came out. It also started a stupid trend of buying skins in online games. Seriously, this is one of the worst games I've ever played, it's theA terrible game, seriously there is nothing good in it. The community is toxic, servers are full of screaming kids, manchildren and other people of questionable IQ. Gameplay is mediocre and lacks any originality.     It was enjoyable until 2017. Now this game sucks. Too much hackers,strange optimization(sometimes fps can as low as 15),no new content. It started to be boring after 1000 hours.

    The thing is simple, playing a game where you are reported and disconnected during the game with stupid explanation that i was using a software which i can not find in my PC, disappointed!

    Good gameplay and nice, "light" engine that has been messed up with latest updates. Terrible hacking problem. Valve says that hit boxes are ok but when they are not in your body for most of the time. Laggy Eu servers and wh lag refuses bullets to go where you are shooting. Most of the time first bullet drops right infront of you.

    This game is such a toxic piece of **** seriously. I just wanted to play an mm game since fpl was down and laggy and the **** game gives me a team full of silvers verses lem's and my team didn't even try they were being toxic and annoying the whole time throwing the game. So if you want to feel like u wanna cut ur wrist over and over until ur arm falls off i suggest that you buy csgo and play mm.

    I play CS all my life. Since 1.3 to CS:S. I remember when people did not like CSS. But i think css more realistic, more stable and more balanced. And now i think can say.. This not CS, this isn't even game.

    This is basically CS: Source with less features (no sprays, no flashlights, not many graphic options....) and worse graphics. Graphics are worse because they added way too much bloom and fog and all that crap that makes you see less and you cant turn it off. The game is cheaper then CS: Source because it is worse then CS: Source. If you already have source you are basically throwing 15$/10

    I finally gave CS:GO a chance after all these years. WOW does it ever still feel like a mod. It doesn't feel anything remotely close to a AAA game. It just feels so home made in todays market. I played the original CS mod and at that time it was great. It just feels super super dated. idk how people play this. maybe only cause it will play on a Potato rig. There are so many similar gamesI finally gave CS:GO a chance after all these years. WOW does it ever still feel like a mod. It doesn't feel anything remotely close to a AAA game. The weapons are far more balanced, there are more reasons to use grenades other then flashbangs and the gameplay on the whole feels more refined! It's still Counter Strike to it's core, but it shows Valve isn't afraid to risk pissing off their fanbase to release a new one. Good Job! - OLD REVIEW -It's a really good version of Counter-Strike.     I had to change my score from 10 to 1... All because of the developers... When you concentrate on making money, and can't invest enough in fighting cheaters, it just makes it pointless for people to waste so much time on the product.... Why I have to pay monthly at site like faceit, to have a better quality server and better quality cheat-protection? This is not a mmorpg... But the devs don't care, VAC is **** many sites offer hacks to be bought that can't be caught by VAC....

    If you want a game of skills play Counter-strike 1.5/1.6. If you want a console port for casuals play CSGO. It's a skin grind simulator.

AWP is nerfed, same with ak/colt. Same CS just nerfed for idiots. GUI is all over the place. Buy menu is from the original XBOX Counter Strike, which was worse than this game. Don't know why Valve took ANY ideas from a CONSOLE game that was a complete failure. But for $15, AS IT RIGHTFULLY SHOULD BE, it's not a bad deal.… Expand

The main upgrade we were promised was graphics but most of the textures and models have simply been reused; the cans sitting in the trash can, the computers and keyboards in Office, etc. Not only is a lot reused but the graphics actually look worse in a lot of cases. The game seems to have nerfed bulletWow! Just played the free weekend and have never been more disappointed in my life. The new weapon additions are just plain weird and don't fit in the CS world, personally the shield made more sense than a molotov **** I do appreciate it is priced low but why pay $15 for a worse experience?… Expand

This mode is not an option for hardcore players as there's competitive. In competitive mode if you leave while game in progress you'll get 1 week of ban in any gamemodes except from those where you play with bots. Now imagine you _need_ to leave _this_ time. It happens, right? Forget about this game for a week! I'm NOT kidding. It means nothing for devs that you already payed them. Seriously - ban system is just sucks. Matchmaking also can take longer than 5 minutes.

    Gameplay: Forget about everything you knew about counter-strike. Forget about shooting 10-15 bullets straight from sitting position at middle-close ranged enemy aiming in the head - you'll miss unless enemy is VERY close. You can't control even m4 recoil(I'm not saying about ak), don't even try, it's impossible. So maybe AWP is still good choice? Not at all. All that blur, bloom in addition to 'dirty' scope WITHOUT middle point makes it nearly impossible to play 'aggressive sniping'. AWP scope is not dirty blurring **** with straight 2 lines. You can still shoot 'no-scope' but what the point when even buy-menu looks like Christmas eve?

    I play Counter Strike since 2000. I have played all from the BETA to 1.6 CZ Source And A short time GO.

    Go has the graphics but not the gameplay or the fun that CS 1,6 Source has.

    For instance the Guns NO USP NO SILENCER FOR M4 and Molotov Fake grenade what a JOKE ).

Also, the game only registered about a third of the bullets i would shoot.     -Community 2/10. Cheaters, unfriendly guys, annoying men, trolling/griefing lads.. You can find every of them. And another thing, you cant tell them CSGO is a bad game. They never approved and start an argue/fighting you. But still good guys there, waiting for a savior that save them from CSGO.
    -Buff/Nerf system. Buffs: Make this gun best. Nerfs: Delete this gun from history.

    Le COD a bien des défauts aussi et est loin d'être irréprochable mais franchement, Counter-Strike (surtout cette édition Global Offensive) appartient à un autre temps, une autre époque. Il a eu le mérite d'inventer et d'innover mais est resté figé. VALVe has so bad anti-cheat and I often meet cheaters in the matches. Secondly, optimisation. CS GO has as bad optimisation as it's graphics for 2012-2018. Also the game has static lighting in 2018!!! S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat had good graphics and dinamic lighting, wich is based on DirectX 10.1 in period from 2007-2009. Developers think that community is animals what will take all their mistakes. New battle-royale can't reach the level of PUBG or even it's game clones. The game become dead in 2016. У меня есть несколько аргументов, почему не стоит играть в этуСамая худшая игра, в которую мне удалось поиграть. Впервые я начал играть в Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ещё в апреле 2019 года. Тогда мне нравилась эта игра, я вообще не обращал внимания ни на что, просто себе играл. Но прошёл уже год после того, как я начал играть в эту игру и у меня остался осадок от этой игры и гнев. У меня есть несколько аргументов, почему не стоит играть в эту игру, и вообще не начинать в неё играть.
    1. Анти-чит. В CS:GO есть свой анти-чит, называется он «Valve Anti-Cheat»‎, сокращённо «‎VAC». Если Вы зайдёте на любой паблик, то там, с вероятностью 60%, будет читер, даже 2 или более. К сожалению, этот анти-чит вообще будто не работает. Так что в CS:GO обитает очень много людей, играющие с читом.
    2. Комьюнити. Если Вы хорошо играете, то с вероятностью 80% противник Вас назовёт читером и будет шутить про Ваших родителей, а также определит Ваш диагноз. Кстати, мне определили диагноз. ДЦП. Ещё поляки, турки, орущие в микрофон (есть исключения), арабы. В общем зоопарк одним словом.
    3. Скины. После того, как VALVe добавили в 2013 обновление со скинами, то сразу начался наплыв бизнесменов, которые начали барыжать скинами. Про перчатки, ножи и скины на персонажей промолчу, это вообще какая-то клоунада.
    4. Обновления. VALVe давно забили на игроков, глобальных обновлений вообще нет, только операция недавняя, и ещё две новые карты, которые они добавили в соревновательную игру. Лишь фиксы каких-то багов и всё.
    5. Карты. В CS:GO вообще нет никаких новых карт, кроме тех, которые я упоминал в четвёртом пункте. Лишь обновления карт, изменения текстур карт и всё, жрите.
    6. Стрельба. Это самое худшее, что я видел. Целишься в голову противнику - попадаешь в тело или вообще не попадаешь. Стреляешь в стену при ходьбе - попадаешь хрен пойми куда. В целом, стрельбу можно описать одним словом - п@здец.
    7. 64 tickrate. 2020 год на дворе, где уже 128 tickrate?
    8. Патруль. Нет, патруль годная вещь, но люди, сидящие в патруле умственно-отсталые люди. Если человек хорошо играет - баним. Этим предложением я описал весь патруль в CS:GO.
    Очень жаль, что я наиграл в эту игру уже больше 800 часов, некоторые скажут, что это мало, но для меня это очень много времени, за такое количество времени я бы смог заняться спортом, саморазвитием, а не потратить впустую на эту игру.
    Ставлю этой игре одного Габена из десяти.

    Объективно, игра очень даже не плоха даже для сегодняшнего дня как фпс-тактический шутер, как и у каждого фпс-шутера есть большой минус "Софтеры, читаки и.тд", наверное с этим стоит уже давно свыкнуться, ну так вот не об этом.

    Игра сейчас полный мусор не загружает видеокарту на 100% и умудряется фризить. А читеры это отдельная история с ними вообще не борются, все что делает Valve это скины и новые операции и уничтожает наши любимые карты.

    It may be the best counter strike, but 8 years after release it is outdated. it can't stand its ground against other and newer fps like Hunt: Showdown.

    Takes the classic counter-strike formula and **** all over it.
    Piss poor servers with aprox 60 ticks per second meaning most of your shots and actions are not even received by server let alone other players.

    Only good thing is competetive matchmaking but its not worth playing when the performance IS THIS BAD.

    Just stick to the older ones.

    Trash, only worth playing on unofficial servers which have higher performance but even then this is a dumbed down noob friendly version of cs.

    Counter strike over time has wished less and less with the amount of toxicity and kids who spend all the time using cheats, but the game is still not as fun as before but there is no game nowadays to replace it. The gameplay mdated but it is still Counter Strike, the competitive despite being infested with cheaters is still playable.     Don't buy this game if your a CS veteran player. the *aiming* in this game is horrible for a FPS !
    The whole game feels badly made and the CS feeling is totally gone !

    If you wish to play CS go play CS Source. !

    What a horrible, old fashioned piece of crap :( CS was probably good after Doom/Quake back in the olden days but this was not worth my money. Worst FPS ever IMO.

    Ballistics are way AWOL.     And this is where its major problem is. It has no gameplay logic, because it is 15 years old. Someone can survive a headshot, aiming down the sight on specific weapons doesn't mean anything, so you'll come to think your barrel is just bent. So you're forced to shoot one bullet at a time, and then you'll face an enemy, either having an M4 (the only weapon with 100% accuracy), or maybe he's going crazy on his trigger, and by some magic luck he'll put a headshot out of nowhere, or he's one hacking b******.

    Plus... Even pro players were caught cheating. I understand two reasons to this : the gameplay is broken, and it is not even protected. Valve Anti-Cheat is a pure joke.

    And the competitive bans are just plain stupid. I paid for this game, I expect it to play whenever I want (and not getting banned because I had something more important to do), be protected against cheats, and have a decent ranking system (I always get ranked down, even when winning games with positive K/D).

    So in a word... Thank you Valve for having Steam get you all the money you want (and having it ruin the PC games market by the way, why would I buy any AAA game at launch, since I'll get them 50% off three months later, so maybe the editors will stop making AAA games because they can't get the reward they deserve). And thank you for not caring anymore about what games should be, and ignoring your "fan-base" (or whatever you call it) with some dreams like Half-Life 3.    … Expand

    the worst games are when they are losing and say "obvious hacks gonna show you what's up /r/antiboost" and then proceed to disconnect, reconnect, and turn on their aimbots. normally, I would just say hacking is a difficult problem with every fps, but csgo competitive is pretty much composed of mostly    this game is a hackfest. every single game i've played as LEM had hackers in it.

    And the most disgusting part of the whole is when people compliment each other like "nice (head)shot", "nice kill" and the eSport fans just yell and acclaim while watching others killing each other in full trance and euphoria. This is not game anymore, people just can't see it.

    I play CS online since 1.3 after the release of CS:S i thought it cant getting worse, but here it comes.. CS:GO. This title has nothing to do with Counter-Strike the Half-Life mod. Its like NFS:Shift or OPF:DragonRising. All this games have on togehter, they failed to be continuation of the old game.     Worst Counter-Strike to date. Why?

    Much more of an 'uncontrollable' recoil. The old recoil was just great, no need to change it whatsoever.

    Aiming doesn't at all feel as smoothly as before. Feels really 'console-ish'. I don't know how to explain it in any other way.

    When moving around, it feels like your 'floating'.

    Some weapons sounds weaker than before especially the AK-47 and AWP. They definately sounds too weak. In Source and 1.6 they sounds stronger.

    Added special effects... If I want special effects and a realistic game I go play Battlefield 3 anyway. For Counter-Strike? No thanks.

    Pretty much higher system requirements in comparison to CS: Source while they both run on the same game engine (Source). *Full game* was really just released as a BETA. Not even worth its current price tag.

    The only good thing I can think of is the simple accessibility of game modes, but this is not enough for getting 1 point on my grade. Since I put much more weight on the gameplay itself. The map updates is allright, but not for the better...

    Grade: 0/10 Conclusion: A truly horrible game. That is unfortunately really overated. I guess because it has 'Counter-Strike' in its name...    … Expand

    With the competitive matchmaking system not working for me I found the game to be very boring.
    Good thing I tried it on the free to play weekend so I did not pay any money for it.

    Play with a bunch of kids who won't say the things they say in chat in real life, Matchmaking with people who lag like crazy, or quit. Guns are crazy inaccurate, anybody that has ever shot a gun would know a bullet goes straight out of a barrel, only game i seen where you can point blank shoot someone and miss, even with a shotgun. Give it a 0 because i never want to play it again

    This game is a carbon copy of Call of Duty. It was unrewarding. All I saw in the game chat was a bunch of mild-mannered insults, like "Suck it b***h" and "Go play somewhere else." The gameplay was unbalanced, you would join in the middle of games that are in progress and be at a severe disadvantage. It's actually less fun than Call of Duty.

So, why we should waste our money to buy a game that has the same thing as the other game. Valve, you bring to us nothing except disappointment.     This is the worst CS to date. Hackers in nearly every competitive match once you get to 2AK + in ranking. The game is also awful in terms of coding optimization and has numerous glitches.

    3/10, but I will vote it 1/10, as it's rating has been grossly inflated by users who must be getting paid by Valve.
