    After all the pressure from my friends and co-workers to get on CS I gave the pre-order a try. I'm not overly impressed. A good game for those with very short attention spans. Maps are tiny and exactly the same as previous games. Casual games are usually filled with 2 or 3 players who are insanely good and the rest are just canon fodder.     This is basically CS: Source with less features (no sprays, no flashlights, not many graphic options....) and worse graphics. Graphics are worse because they added way too much bloom and fog and all that crap that makes you see less and you cant turn it off. The game is cheaper then CS: Source because it is worse then CS: Source. If you already have source you are basically throwing 15$/10

    The only up about this game is it is cheaper than Counterstrike Source. But there is a reason for that: It was not developed by Valve. Valve might have given a few pointers but it was not enough. This game is iffy at best on hit detection compared to Source. The art style is a mix of Counterstrike Source and maybe TF2, not sure but it strikes me odd and doesn't look good at all. Also,The only up about this game is it is cheaper than Counterstrike Source. But there is a reason for that: It was not developed by Valve. Valve might have given a few pointers but it was not enough. This game is iffy at best on hit detection compared to Source. The art style is a mix of Counterstrike Source and maybe TF2, not sure but it strikes me odd and doesn't look good at all. Also, adding bloom to everything does not equate to better graphics. Simply replacing textures in Counterstrike Source with high-res ones will make an older game look better than this one.

    Onto gameplay, very bad. Hit detection is bad, gun balance is not there, hitboxes seem to not work often enough. The radial buy menu is horrid for quick navigation and a total time waster. I played on low-ping servers but have to say this game took the lessons learned from Counterstrike Source then threw them away and done enough things different for only the sake of change. The maps are proof of this, they are either the same but with bloom added to hurt your eyes or they are worse with little changes meant to spice things up but actually tone things down.

    Many people who never played CS 1.6 or CS:S before will probably find this game alright at $15, I find it a waste of $15. Put the money to something better, catch BF3 on sale at $30 and you will get much much more. This game is shaping up to be a failure and echoes of the beta show a team that only patches the game for sake of keeping up appearances.    … Expand

    I play CS online since 1.3 after the release of CS:S i thought it cant getting worse, but here it comes.. CS:GO. This title has nothing to do with Counter-Strike the Half-Life mod. Its like NFS:Shift or OPF:DragonRising. All this games have on togehter, they failed to be continuation of the old game.     The game is only half complete. I will speak from a casual and competitive side of the game.

    First the casual side. The game was suppose to come out with a zombie mode. They decided to early release the game and put in zombie mode later. The lack of flashlight. The lack of tagging/flinching makes newbie/casual players unable to out smart a professional gamer with perfect aim. This    The game is only half complete.     The competitive side. The game sound is impossible to pinpoint exact player location. The lack of tagging and flinching. The money reward is messed up. $900 per p90/shotgun kill. Only receiving $50 for awp kills.

    Overall a lot of the community was ignored on the forum. They pushed a game out that wasn't complete. A huge disappointment for a 1.6 player. The game is still definitely an improvement over source.    … Expand

    1) No ironsights. Yes, I know it's a "feature" of the CS brand. But it's dumb. 2) Headshots or bust. They might as well just make all the player models a floating head. There's no point in having the body, because they've made it so that body shots are basically like a gentle tickle. У меня есть несколько аргументов, почему не стоит играть в эту игру, и вообще не начинать в неё играть.
    1. Анти-чит. В CS:GO есть свой анти-чит, называется он «Valve Anti-Cheat»‎, сокращённо «‎VAC». Если Вы зайдёте на любой паблик, то там, с вероятностью 60%, будет читер, даже 2 или более. К сожалению, этот анти-чит вообще будто не работает. Так что в CS:GO обитает очень много людей, играющие с читом.
    2. Комьюнити. Если Вы хорошо играете, то с вероятностью 80% противник Вас назовёт читером и будет шутить про Ваших родителей, а также определит Ваш диагноз. Кстати, мне определили диагноз. ДЦП. Ещё поляки, турки, орущие в микрофон (есть исключения), арабы. В общем зоопарк одним словом.
    3. Скины. После того, как VALVe добавили в 2013 обновление со скинами, то сразу начался наплыв бизнесменов, которые начали барыжать скинами. Про перчатки, ножи и скины на персонажей промолчу, это вообще какая-то клоунада.
    4. Обновления. VALVe давно забили на игроков, глобальных обновлений вообще нет, только операция недавняя, и ещё две новые карты, которые они добавили в соревновательную игру. Лишь фиксы каких-то багов и всё.
    5. Карты. В CS:GO вообще нет никаких новых карт, кроме тех, которые я упоминал в четвёртом пункте. Лишь обновления карт, изменения текстур карт и всё, жрите.
    6. Стрельба. Это самое худшее, что я видел. Целишься в голову противнику - попадаешь в тело или вообще не попадаешь. Стреляешь в стену при ходьбе - попадаешь хрен пойми куда. В целом, стрельбу можно описать одним словом - п@здец.
    7. 64 tickrate. 2020 год на дворе, где уже 128 tickrate?
    8. Патруль. Нет, патруль годная вещь, но люди, сидящие в патруле умственно-отсталые люди. Если человек хорошо играет - баним. Этим предложением я описал весь патруль в CS:GO.
    Очень жаль, что я наиграл в эту игру уже больше 800 часов, некоторые скажут, что это мало, но для меня это очень много времени, за такое количество времени я бы смог заняться спортом, саморазвитием, а не потратить впустую на эту игру.
    Ставлю этой игре одного Габена из десяти.
    Ушёл нюхать клей.

    60% of players don't take the game seriously then they don't do any kills. 40% of players hasn't a microphone or it sucks, then communication is impossible.
    There are not too many cheaters but is full of smurfs.
    All this even in GN rank.

    Türkçe yazmak istiyorum. Seçkin hesap olana kadar kanser olma ihtimaliniz çok yüksek. Seçkin hesap olduktan sonra ise zaten eski oyun herkes senden iyi. Bu durumda da kanser olma ihtimaliniz bulunuyor. Yeni bir CSGO oyuncusu iseniz tavsiye etmiyorum.

    I played this game for about 4k hours. Got global rank on MM. After i got global, i stopped playing this game but these days i am just back to it. As i can easly say, everyone is cheating. They made this game as free. You can be prime easly...Every two or three matches, you'll get a cheater for sure. At 2019, there's no point on playing this game.

    The developers just abandoned the game, servers are trash 64 tick rate, atleast one cheater that don't hide the wallhack well each 5 games and the hackers don't get banned even after so much time have passed(like 5 months after).

    CS:GO used to be great game, Im person who played 5000 hours and I enjoyed this game at start. My first rank was silver 3 and even though I was pretty bad I still enjoyed playing it. I made It to Legendary Eagle Master and then some updates messed this game up and I literally stopped playing it. After 5000 hours I just don't enjoy it. Game is full of cheaters even on some most secureCS:GO used to be great game, Im person who played 5000 hours and I enjoyed this game at start.     You can be Global with hack without catching VAC because VAC doesn't work :D Go play with hack and kill everybody VALVE cannot ban you

    Takes the classic counter-strike formula and **** all over it.
    Piss poor servers with aprox 60 ticks per second meaning most of your shots and actions are not even received by server let alone other players.

    Only good thing is competetive matchmaking but its not worth playing when the performance IS THIS BAD.

    Just stick to the older ones.

    There a lot of cheaters in this game!This is good tactical fps game,but the weapon mechanic and map rotation is bad,lootboxes and prime status mechanic,valve just created a service game with a lot of micro transactions.I can recommed it to play with friends but if youre playing alone that game will be horrible.

    The house of 8 year old kiddos, hackers that leads you to get anger issues, toxic teammates and lost its fun and enjoyment that it gave you 3-4 years ago. Thanks Valve.

    This game is such a toxic piece of **** seriously. I just wanted to play an mm game since fpl was down and laggy and the **** game gives me a team full of silvers verses lem's and my team didn't even try they were being toxic and annoying the whole time throwing the game. So if you want to feel like u wanna cut ur wrist over and over until ur arm falls off i suggest that you buy csgo and play mm.

    It is a great game, but the administration of it is a disaster. I got banned for not being able to enter a competition on time. Not my fault at all, which made me want to rate this very low and explain this. I dont know why they do this, obviously it was not on purpose since the game is loading, there is nothing I can do about it and I read it happens to a lot of others.

В игре нет нормального античита, а VAC умеет вычислять бесплатные читы (платные не вычисляет, и не хочет вычислять).Игра, к сожалению за последние 4-5 лет стала рассадником: людей, использующие нечестные способы, которые помогают превосходить их над другими людьми,( проще говоря читеры) , токсичных игроков ( преимущественно школьников 9-13 лет ) и многих других низших групп людей. В игре нет нормального античита, а VAC умеет вычислять бесплатные читы (платные не вычисляет, и не хочет вычислять). Главное, игра бесплатная и по техническим требованиям любая "микроволновка" потянет ее, из-за этого порог входа новых игроков низок, и читеры, если их заблокировали, могут дальше играть с читами и им ничего не будет.. Все выше перечисленное может сделать ощущение того, что данная игра очень плоха, но в CS:GO есть много позитивного. Сообщество игроков этой игры довольно общительное, можно найти новых друзей и так далее. Я могу дальше перечислять плюсы этой довольно хорошей игры.
    Подведем итоги: 1) CS:GO не имеет надежного античита, и вследствие этого мы имеем огромный наплыв читеров. к тому же игра бесплатная и вследствие усугубляется ситуация с читерами. 2) Игра, несмотря на огромное количество токсиков, имеет довольно хорошее коммьюнити, и если в противположной команде есть читер, то команда пытается его исключить из соревновательной игры ( работает не всегда, есть люди, которые сознательно не кикают нечестного игрока).
    Весьма хорошо было бы, если бы Valve применяла блокировку по железу такую как hardware indentification BAN (HWID), т.к обойти многие читеры не смогли бы( если они не знают способы обхода данной блокировки)
    Я ставлю 4 балла из 10 данной игре.    … Expand

    CS:GO in 2021 is terrible.The old engine(when Source 2),anti-cheat,that ban skinchanger,but dont ban aim and WH,VEERY bad weapon without !IRON SIGHTS!,servers with 64 tick rate and toxic community.
    Valve dont make anything new,only skins and operations(kinda uselles).This game has nothing to offer me, unlike other games.

    Un juego plagado de hackers hasta en casual. Da igual que tengas prime o no prime el anticheat es inexistente. Solo sirve para lootear cajas, y hacer dinero con skins vendiéndolas. Cuantos más hackers hay mejor para valve porque más gente se crea nuevas cuentas porque SORPRESA el juego está gratis.

    The game is well made but is filled with hacker,smurfs, leavers, and griefers that make the game unplayable. You can expect more then Half your matches to have a hacker and the rest to have a leaver or a smurf. Save your money.

    -Community 2/10. Cheaters, unfriendly guys, annoying men, trolling/griefing lads.. You can find every of them. And another thing, you cant tell them CSGO is a bad game. They never approved and start an argue/fighting you. But still good guys there, waiting for a savior that save them from CSGO.
    -Buff/Nerf system. Buffs: Make this gun best. Nerfs: Delete this gun from history.

Valve seems happy to allow the game to continually go on sale so that more scumbags can buy new accounts and almost get the game for free because of how ridiculously cheap it already is anyway. People seem to just be allowed to stack accounts to cheat on and get away with it for months at a time before valve actually bans them. They seem to have introduced this overwatch system which quite frankly is totally useless because it gives the people on overwatch almost ZERO responsibility in the end outcome as to whether a person gets banned or not. The guns are totally flawed as well. More often than not I see succesful eco rounds because of how easy it is to wreck someone at mid-close range with a pistol vs rifle. I cannot emphasize enough, please do not buy this game. It quite literally is the biggest disgrace of any fps let alone steam game to have ever been released. Guns are crazy inaccurate, anybody that has ever shot a gun would know a bullet goes straight out of a barrel, only game i seen where you can point blank shoot someone and miss, even with a shotgun.     Very good game and gameplay. Cheaters are a VERY big problem currently and that is what made me stop playing. Skins are pretty cool too but some can be very expensive(but cool too). There is also a matchmaking system which needs improvement but is playable.

I played the original CS mod and at that time it was great. It just feels super super dated. idk how people play this. maybe only cause it will play on a Potato rig. There are so many similar gamesI finally gave CS:GO a chance after all these years. WOW does it ever still feel like a mod. It doesn't feel anything remotely close to a AAA game.     Nothing new ... new updates coming only to spend more money and more money on skins... same maps from cs 1.6 ... This game suffers from a few fatal flaws.

    It's a really good version of Counter-Strike. Probably my favourite! The weapons are far more balanced, there are more reasons to use grenades other then flashbangs and the gameplay on the whole feels more refined! It's still Counter Strike to it's core, but it shows Valve isn't afraid to risk pissing off their fanbase to release a new one. Good Job! - OLD REVIEW -It's a really good version of Counter-Strike.     I had to change my score from 10 to 1... All because of the developers... When you concentrate on making money, and can't invest enough in fighting cheaters, it just makes it pointless for people to waste so much time on the product.... Why I have to pay monthly at site like faceit, to have a better quality server and better quality cheat-protection? This is not a mmorpg... But the devs don't care, VAC is **** many sites offer hacks to be bought that can't be caught by VAC....
    So thank you valve, for letting down one of your greatest games!    … Expand

    everything perfect except people cheating playing in many games and not get banned, and I have a network issue and I got banned for 7 days, then another network issue give me another 7 days instead 30 min, 2 hours...
    I playin 25 rounds then my net fall and volvo give me 7 days always..

    Cs:go is such a good game. The hit detection is great. The spawns are perfect and those maps. there all so good. The best part is the variety of game modes there is and if your board you can play the community servers which has more content then this game ever had.

    Few things I like in csgo are match making system, grenades and ingame items. Since CZ including there has been no good cs versions. CS:Source and CS:GO is too detailed and ingame feel is awkward. If I would want to play realistic shooters I would go for COD, BF. CS 1.6 is not realistic, it doesn't have realistic graphics, maps are not covered with lots of unnecessary stuff and feel to itFew things I like in csgo are match making system, grenades and ingame items. Even shooting is broken. In old engine you could feel when you hit your enemy. Now you can aim and shoot in the face with no damage. It feels like you throw apples at them. Same for he gren.     THey have completely ruined this game with recent patches, now it is too similar to CoD... This was a game that used to be completely about skill and not about running and gunning, however they've completely changed that.

    Игра была очень хорошей, но тут кокому-то дауну взбрело в голову добавить R8, я играл в нее с удовольствием, а теперь я испытываю даже ужас перед каждой игрой, будут ли эти револьверы у моих тиммейтов или у противоположной тимы. Спасибо Valve за такой апдейт! Кажется, что кто-то забыл про 1.6, cz, Source и добавил очередное ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, благодаря которому можно срубить еще бабла илиИгра была очень хорошей, но тут кокому-то дауну взбрело в голову добавить R8, я играл в нее с удовольствием, а теперь я испытываю даже ужас перед каждой игрой, будут ли эти револьверы у моих тиммейтов или у противоположной тимы.     Игра даже на момент выхода(2012) была уже устаревшим, ненужным кусков кала. Убогая система стрельбы, попаданий, оставшейся со своей первой версией. Даже добавление нового оружия, снаряжения вообще не спасают положения. Рассчитана для глубокого онанирования. А тем самым в игре появилось огромное количество читеров, с которыми никто, кроме самих игроков не борется. VAC совершенно ужасный, читы выявляет только ну очень глупых людей, которые в начале раунда убивают сразу пятерых в голову с респа. Не глупо ли это?
    С точки зрения Valve это очень прибыльно, так как в игре присутствует "Патруль" - игроки, наигравшие определённое количество часов и имеющие определённые звания, которые смотрят демку и определяют читер ли игрок или нет. И вот человеческий фактор может сыграть на руку читерам. Если один раз игрока забанили, то он может купить игру на другом аккаунте ещё раз и попробовать играть более скрытно. Таких игроков огромное количество и деньги с продаж соответственно капают в кошелёк Гейба. Именно поэтому никто не делает нормальный VAC и появилось огромное количество читеров.

Certes, les modes bien connus amusent encore un peu la galerie un certain temps et on a pas besoin d'épauler, ce qui est positif. Mais un Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 fait tout aussi bien que lui en multiComplètement dépassé le Counter-Strike et ce n'est pas cette énième itération toujours aussi moche (le moteur Source, quelle blague...) avec son gameplay suranné qui va changer la donne. Certes, les modes bien connus amusent encore un peu la galerie un certain temps et on a pas besoin d'épauler, ce qui est positif. Mais un Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 fait tout aussi bien que lui en multi et même bien mieux en fait (le mode réaliste très réussi), et le tout avec des modes de jeux inédits et bien plus intéressants (le quartier général par exemple).

    Le COD a bien des défauts aussi et est loin d'être irréprochable mais franchement, Counter-Strike (surtout cette édition Global Offensive) appartient à un autre temps, une autre époque. Il a eu le mérite d'inventer et d'innover mais est resté figé. Pour oser sortir un truc pareil, vendre un truc pareil en 2012, il ne faut douter de rien ! ça devrait être gratuit ou sur un modèle free to pay -ça l'était d'ailleurs quand ce n'était qu'un pauvre "mod" déjà bien bugué de partout... qui n'a pas vraiment progressé après toutes ces années ! quelle arnaque !    … Expand
