Not only is it well designed, but it is simple enough in control configuration for anyone to play.
-
There's just not a whole lot here. But Championship Surfer does combine smooth responsiveness with awesome wave modeling to give you the best surfing sim to ever grace the PC.
-
Provides a fair amount of enjoyment, but it's doubtful that the enjoyment will last long enough for most gamers to see all of the beaches.
-
Seven modes of play, but none offer any real incentive to keep you playing the game past the first few beaches.
-
So-so graphics and pretty dull gameplay, but it does have a fairly decent physics model that makes it fun to play...at least for a short time.
-
CNET GamecenterA surfing game that even the biggest poseur would classify as fairly bogus.
-
Daily RadarThe graphics are just plain ugly, the gameplay is utterly monotonous, and the whole affair has the freshness of sun-dried milk.

LeeM.Sep 16, 2003It's good, if your a surfer, i love it. not very popular, dull to the common person, but pretty tight to a surfer.
