    This review is for Multiplayer only. Big Call of Duty fan since Modern Warfare 2. I love COD. COD WW2(2017) is one of the best COD Multiplayer experiences there is IMO. I just love it. Black Ops2 comes close because its a classic. I still own MW2 and MW3 and play those regularly (Multiplayer) on PC same goes for Ghosts and Advanced Warfare. I love Multiplayer gameplay for COD games, justThis review is for Multiplayer only. Big Call of Duty fan since Modern Warfare 2. I love COD. I bought this for Multiplayer and I got a good deal for it $40 and I feel like I got cheated for my money. Multiplayer is just very bland and boring. I'll just keep playing COD WW2.     This is no longer Call of Duty, it reminds me more of an army simulator akin to Arma. You will die in a blink of an eye, every time, it feels like you're always playing hardcore. This is a big problem due to the fact the maps are now huge and complex, there are literally 100 different angles to die from, more often than not you will not see who killed you. They've also removed gun fire showing up on the map, and Ghost now makes you immune to UAV even when not moving, so there's just no reason to move ever.

    They've improved almost every aspect of the game, the visuals, audio, animations, performance are all top-notch, but the map design and gameplay are a huge step down, if you're going into this expecting CoD you will be disappointed.    … Expand

    Na nové Call of Duty jsem se velice těšil. Z trailerů to vypadalo dobře a sám jsem si mohl zkusit uzavřenou betu. Beta mé očekávání ještě zdvojnásobila. Nemám rád moc rushování na nepřátele, za to mám radši taktičtější pojetí hry. Toto multiplayer splňoval.
    Hra vyšla 25. října společně s hrou Medievil a The Outer Worlds. Hru Call of Duty jsem si předobjednal a stejně jsem udělal s hrou Medievil, kterou jsem si také předobjednal, ale o Medievilu budu psát v jiné recenzi.
    Příběh jsem hrál na těžší obtížnost a hru jsem pokořil za 7 hodin. Pokořil bych ji i rychleji, ale hodně jsem se díval po okolí a prozkoumával prostředí.
    Hra se na počítačích nachází na ne moc dobrém místě… Battle.net, který má za sebou spoustu problémů a hodně jsem se bál o optimalizaci samotné hry. A v podstatě i Battle.netu. Nakonec hra jela skvěle. Až na jednu drobnost.
    Filmečky se lehce sekali, i když mi hra dosahovala až 80 FPS na Ultra detaily. Každá cutscéna se pokaždé v polovině zasekla a musel jsem čekat někdy až 5 minut, než se zase rozjela. To mi bohužel kazilo dojem ze samotné hry. Po druhém projetí hry se cutscény nesekaly.
    Gameplay je velice zajímavý a mě osobně sednul. Zbraně se chovají jinak než v dřívějších Codkách.
    Graficky hra vypadá neuvěřitelně a asi nejlépe za poslední dekádu her.
    Teď je ale čas na to nejdůležitější. Hodnocení příběhu.
    Call of Duty Modern Warfare přebírá postavy z trilogie Modern Warfare a je to nový začátek velké videoherní série Modern Warfare. Hraní se střídá mezi Alexe, Kyla a Farah. Mě se nejvíce líbila postava Alexe. Příběh se zaměřuje na konflikt Ruských jednotek, Amerických a v zásadě se jedná také o teroristy. Ruské jednotky v čele s Barkovem vytvořili nebezpečné kanystry plynů. Musíte Barkova zastavit a zachovat tak na Zemi pořádek. Kapitán Price si do svého týmu vzal Seržanta Kyla, Alexe a později i Farah. (Nebudu tady psát jednotlivé mise, jelikož vám nechci říct důležité spoilery). Moje nejoblíbenější mise je Clean House, protože jak jsem již psal, mám radši taktičtější pojetí hry. Příběh je emotivní a přesně takhle jsem si představoval začátek staronové trilogie. 10/10

    Multiplayer není špatný, ale mapy jsou udělány, tak abyste čupěly v rohu a čekaly na nepřítele. Hodně mě bavil mód gunfight, což jsou zápasy 2v2. Nejvíce jinak hraji Team Deathmatch. Nejvíce mě štve systém hledání zápasů. Já jakožto level 19 hraji s hráči, kteří mají level 70. Bohužel každý zápas to vyhledá ty největší nerdy, kteří to hrají 3 dny v kuse a já pak chytám nerva nad tím, že mě pokaždé zabije silnější zbraní. Neříkám, že bych měl pořád vyhrávat, ale takhle mě ten mulťák nebaví a musím hrát akorát 2v2, kde mi to stejně vyhledá hráče, který má 3x větší level než já. Toto kazí celý zážitek z multiplayeru. Měli by využít systém hledání zápasu, něco jako je v CS:GO. Kdy silveři hrají se silverama a goldi s goldama. 7/10 jen díky taktičtějšího pojetí a dobrých módů.

    Coop je zajímavý, ale naprosto těžký a pokud nemáte kamarády, kteří si hru zakoupili za neskutečnou částku 1500 Kč, tak vás to prostě a jednoduše bavit nebude. Mě osobně coop baví a ještě lepší je, že coop navazuje na Singleplayer. 8/10    … Expand

    Great game. Too many Black Ops fan boys hating on it. They want the game to cater to their personal play style and won’t take the time to learn how to play differently. Core gameplay good maps are refreshing and new. No more 3 lane garbage. Would recommend if you enjoyed MW2 and Cod 4.

    Advise you to play. This game shows the truth about the russians. I like the campaign, awesome gameplay and multiplayer. Hope to see more games like this in the future. Good work Infinity Ward.

Игра есть игра не нужно относиться к ней как в реальности, а то россиия это как феменистки пока не тронут молчат, а как где то мелькнет начинает все разрывать и метать и доказывать всем свою точку зрения.Ну здравствуй россия я игрок из России и не вполне понравилась компания.     Note: This Modern Warfare title is an Online Service title, so that means if Infinity Ward ever takes down the servers one day. At launch the servers were down for 2 hours and you couldn't play the campaign. Fun...

    Infinity Ward is back at it again, but this time they won't see a "failed" product in their special "eyes" since they added cross-platform play. So no matter what system you're playing on, players will still be playing the game. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) at the time of this review isn't on Steam, it features a Battle Pass (coming at a later date), no loot boxes (but it's Activision so it will probably come at a later date), microtransactions with COD Points and on top of all this mess, PC and Xbox One players can't play 16% of the game for 1 year because of Sony and Activision's deal. With this deal, that means by the time the next Call of Duty game is out next year, you'll be able to this the 16% of the game you missed out on. So instead of selling us a $40 or $50 title game with the amount of content Activision is selling us, they're making PC and Xbox One players pay the full $60 with the game not even featuring all the content. Go figure, thank you Activision (I'm being sarcastic).

    Don't get me wrong, even though they rebooted this series, I can't disprove the fact that if you cut all the BS from this game, from locked content deals to lootboxes (Activision will most likely push to update later on in the months), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) is a pretty good game. It's fun, no double-jumping, jetpacks and no more WW1/WW2 era setting anymore. Modern Warfare has fantastic single-player cut-scenes, multiplayer starter cut-scenes are pretty cool, something I wish Rainbow Six: Siege had, the customization on your PC to have any specific settings you want is amazing and the game is truly optimized, like Destiny 2 optimized which is pretty crazy.

    Performance-wise, I ran this game on a 3900X with a 1070 and it runs smooth like cutting butter. Looks and feels so good. Would it be too soon to say, Call of Duty is finally back?

    In the end, you aren't missing out on much, if Infinity Ward one day throws the hammer down at Activision and it comes to Steam, buy it if it goes on sale. At the moment, it's not worth $60 nor playing or downloading the Blizzard client for one game. Modern Warfare will never be Modern Warfare though, Infinity Ward will never replicate Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 again just because the greed of Activision, Activision ruined Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch. Thankfully I didn't spend the $60 on this game, my job did.    … Expand

    Ignore the 0s. They're just from Russians that are mad that the main terrorist group in this campaign happens to be Russian. Overall good shooter with a great and grounded campaign. Free DLC and no micro-transaction BS. The multiplayer online is significantly smoother than BO4. Solid response times. Hopefully they continue this trend of grounded, gritty, micro-transactionless gaming.

    Best additon to the franchise since modern warfare 2. Don't listen to the user reviews just review bombed cause 2019 and everyone has an agenda or is an SJW. With that being said most people I know are playing the game and loving it. Heads up though to enjoy it probably recommend at least a 10xx series GPU

    Мне новая часть CoD понравилась. Не без недочетов конечно, но все же - твердая 9/10. Сюжет не самый лучший в серии, но определенно заслуживает внимания. Мультиплеер в игре шикарный. А самое главное - нет долбанных микротранзакций. :) Весь контент в игре бесплатный и зарабатывается по мере выполнения определенных заданий.

Не пройдя игры, вы оценили её на основе мнения "любимого" стримера (не это ли деградация нашего общества - не иметь своего мнения :)). Где-то ниже есть отзыв - краткий пересказ сюжета наших СМИ. Это еще больше убеждает в том, что люди, ставящие нули, не прошли игру.

    Как по мне - перезапуск удался. Игра заслуживает внимания!    … Expand

    Alright, so first of all, this going to be in three parts, Singleplayer, Multiplayer and like a general conclusion or whatever. For the singleplayer part, you might consider it a mild spoiler, so yeah, skip it if you intend to play the campaign without any knowledge of what to expect at all.

    Singleplayer is simply awesome. This is the most intense campaign in a CoD game I've played, and    Alright, so first of all, this going to be in three parts, Singleplayer, Multiplayer and like a general conclusion or whatever. For the singleplayer part, you might consider it a mild spoiler, so yeah, skip it if you intend to play the campaign without any knowledge of what to expect at all.

    Singleplayer is simply awesome. This is the most intense campaign in a CoD game I've played, and one of the most intense in an FPS in a long time. This is brilliant.
    Some will dumb it down to "America, f*ck yeah, Russia bad, we save the day". They just didn't get it.
    The KEY point imo is that Russia in the game IS America in real life. America IS doing what we see Russia do in game (sure, maybe not to the point of hanging people in the streets, but it's a caricature, exaggerated for the purpose of the game). Keeping this in mind, the campaign is an amazingly critical take on the modern conflicts in the Middle East, and their repercussions in the Western World. Just like CoD4 was spot on with the "modern" part in 2007, this is exactly on point with modern war.
    One BIG thumbs down is a glaring issue with stuttering in the cutscenes. This is unacceptable, and the cutscenes are garbage because of it. Which is a damn shame because they look AMAZING. There is no excuse for this garbage, this seems to be happening to a lot of players and there's no way this could've gone unnoticed if they tested the game properly.

    For the Multiplayer part. Oh boy. I'm gonna preface this by saying it, the modern CoD games are garbage for me. The game peaked at MW2/BO and it's been going downhill ever since.
    This changes with this game. I'm getting vibes from the original MW games. And that's coming from someone with something like 40 days of in game time on MW2.
    I get that this is not for everyone though. If you've never played the OG CoD games, then this is very different from the current way they do things. Exit the map design where you can realisticly only encounter ennemies at like 5 different spots, and welcome multiple routes and flanks, maps where you can stick to the close quarters encouters of buildings and tight roads with a shotgun, or find high ground spots with lots of visibility all around to snipe people. Bye bye generic laser weapon number 25, and welcome back to simple yet effective guns that feel like your shooting when you pull the trigger (by the way, sound design? Amazing). From what I understand, this makes the game much slower than the recent CoD games, which is a good thing in my opinion, but can for sure be a turn off for others.
    Basically, I can sum it up like this: If you spent your highschool years on the MW trilogy, and got turned off by the subsequent games cause they just didn't feel the same, that's the game for you.
    The addition of the Ground War mode, a 32 vs 32 "battlefied like" game mode is also a welcome thing.
    Oh, and crossplay is a thing. You can play with your friends no matter what system they have (and you can farm controller peasant with your glorious superior PC hardware. You can turn off crossplay if you're a controller player and you (righfully) don't want to get assblasted by PC players on keyboard and mouse).

    Finally on the "things that aren't really singleplayer, or multiplayer", I was pleasently surprised with the stability at launch. I didn't get any lag online, the game is gorgeous and runs at a stable 60 fps (on my 1060 at least).
    I also didn't get any crash or issues that you might "expect" from playing a game at release
    I already mentionned it, but the cutscene stuttering thing is unacceptable from a AAA game. Hopefully this can be patched quickly. But to be honest that's the only problem I've had with the game.

    As a final note, I'd say that I'm pleasantly surprised by the lack of BS cash grab from the game. There's no season pass, no loot box, no DLC, no nothing. I've not once been prompted to pull my credit card out for any reason, and from what I could see the only things you can buy are skins for the guns (and like charms and stuff to hang from your weapon) or temporary XP boost.
    BUT, I'd say, be cautious. Activision and others have been known to wait a couple of month before rolling out the BS cash grabs in their game, so only time will tell. For now at least, I'm having a blast.
    I'll give it an 8, because of the stuttering issue and the balancing online that can be improved, even if it's already decent imo.    … Expand

    Amazing game, best MP CoD in years.

    Played for over 28h now, nearly no campers, unlike some suggest.

    The campaing is a nice story, and not really america vs bad russians, more like vs terrorosts. Top.

    Some bugs still for Koop and MP, but they can be patched and do not reduce the amazing experience.

    The story, while short, has some really interesting set pieces/levels (the Clean Room mission comes to mind). In 1440P with ray tracing on and all graphics set to max or near max, it looks fantastic, especially the cutscenes, which look almost real, I can basically see individual strands of hair on the faces of Alex and Price, and it's amazing. The game feels and controls great, as all CoD games do, and so far haven't co-op, but multiplayer and the story are both really good so far. Yes, it's another game with Russians as the bad guys, but I thought this had much more nuance. There are good arab people who you look at as allies and friends, there is an arab terrorist force, and there are the Russians. Yes, they're treated as evil, yes, the game takes great inspiration from a real life war crime and in the story makes it as if the Russians had done so. Couple things on this. One, it's a fictional story, who cares if they pinned something that is kinda like what really happened on Russian enemies that don't even exist. Two, communists are evil, and the only good commie is a dead one, so they can keep having Russian villains for forever as far as I'm concerned. Third, everyone down-voting and bombing this cuz "iT's NoT fAiR tO tHe RuSsIaNs", grow the hell up. It's a fictional game, with a completely made up story. If that's enough to trigger you into writing a negative review when you either haven't played or actually enjoy the game, then you're a massive pansy who needs to toughen up and deal with the fact that sometimes people will say or do things you find offensive. I have to imagine you are the same people tweeting #notmypresident, and in which case I must ask, aren't Russians the evil foreign power that helped Trump get elected?? Isn't this something you should want? Bunch of children, and it's pathetic.     Quite possibly the greatest COD to date. Bringing the franchise back to its root with an incredible campaign, a new graphic engine and a addictive Multiplayer mode along with Specs Ops.
    It's been such a long time since the last Modern Warfare, i've missed it so much, i'm glad IW did it again.

Why are there plenty of Russian people who have no issues with the game? None of them feels like their country is under attack. Did everyone forget how the last few COD games had USA villains?     I am just gonna say it this game is BEAUTIFUL, it depicts a realistic image of counter terror war. Almost all of the negative reviews are of beta cucks that cant see a game talking about the hard truth of war, or triggered russians. If you want to play a "Kid friendly" cod buy BO4, but if you like games like the MW series, spec ops, rising storm ... look no further.

    This game is awesome. The next step for whole franchise. Just one disappointment for me there is no Battle Royale mode. Coz I expected something like Black Ops 4 Battle Royale with pieces of maps MW 1-3. And guys don't listen some Russians idiots which write negative reviews. The Modern Warfare series is full of action and controversial themes. Rebooting the series was a good decision. The campaign / story mode is full of old returning characters like Cpt. „John“ Price, Kyle „Gaz“ Garrick, John „Soap“ MacTavish as well as Simon „Ghost“ Riley, Sgt. Griggs, Gen. Shepherd, Nikolai, Sgt. Kamarov and Kaled Al-Asad. But there are also many new characters that you get to know in the course of the campaign. The campaign is not only about shooting, sometimes you get other tasks. For example, you play a child in a campaign mission and have to hide from a russian soldier. It mostly takes place in the fictional state of Urzikstan. I won't spoil anything or go further into detail. The only thing I can say is, that the campaign is worth the while. The multiplayer is fun, there are still some problems with it. The multiplayer is full of old game modes and also some new like Gunfight, a 2v2 game mode similar to TDM. Ground War is a 32v32 multiplayer game mode with vehicles, very Battlefield like and chaotic. Vehicle controls in Ground War are bad. The downsight to multiplayer is that it's full of campers. And then there's koop. There you can find the Spec Ops missions. These missions are very challenging even with three other players. Sometimes the game crashed. All in all I had a great experience. The game is very well made, I can recommend it.

    - many campers in multiplayer
    - bad vehicle controls
    - game crashes often

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I haven't played a Call of Duty game since probably Black Ops 2. This game revitalized the genre in my opinion. The single player campaign is amazing. Some of the missions bring the reality of combat to your screen. Claustrophobic and dark building environments, suspenseful moments, and tough shoot/no shoot decisions, all a reality of fighting enemies that have no remorse for innocent lives and have no rules. Some of you will notice some missions have similarities to recent war movies, almost down to the letter. They definitely drew a ton of influence from them.

    A lot of people are upset because it paints the Russian army as being the bad guys. However, they fail to forget that this is a fictional game, with an imaginary story. But most importantly, they fail to mention that in the story, this particular section of the Russian army was in the command of a rogue general, and not characteristic of the entire Russian government commanded army, and their people. Much like there have been games and movies made of rogue sections of the US armed forces, but no one bats an eye when US forces are being naughty. 10 out of 10 to Activision for not cowering down to the politically correct crowds that think everything is offensive. Don't let the Russian bots discourage you from playing this game, as long as you keep the narrative in mind that this is a fictional story where a Russian general and his rogue army do some terrible things.    … Expand

    Best Call of Duty game yet. The graphics, the gameplay, the story are all top-notch. Also, kudos to Activision for not avoiding "politics" and willing to take risk instead of creating another bland game about nothing. Well done!

It's not taking a shot at the whole of the Russian military, it's taking shots at corruption in the Russian military. I didn't see the Russians as the bad guys, especially with some of the cutscenes, however, some missions portray the Russians as the big bad guys because in the character's eyes, they are the bad guys. Farah's father was killed when she was only a child, that would affect your views greatly, while Nikolai, who basically looks like a Russian mob boss is a more integral part of the story. The story isn't trying to demonize Russians, it's trying to demonize those who allow war crimes to be committed, at least that's my take on it. And no, there's not hatred towards Russians or Muslims in this game, at least from my perspective, there's hatred towards terrorism, war crimes, and corruption. And if you can't see gray morals in this game, then you haven't played it all the way through, or you don't understand the term "morals". You have to decide whether to shoot civilians in seconds, and you have choices on who to shoot a lot of the time. An unarmed woman not complying and reaching for something? Do you shoot her, or see where it goes? A lady trying to defend her kid from home intruders, and she has her gun aimed at you, do you shoot her? Those are the morally gray areas where you should ponder and think "Should I have shot that person?"… Expand

    Game is OUTSTANDING. If you like campaigns. Best in years. Also if you play on the harder difficulties the time spent playing it is more than the reported 5 or 6 hours. Much more.     Ignore the bad reviews it’s just people that are offended by the campaign I take it. People need to realize it’s just a game. I haven’t played campaign but I have the multiplayer. It’s freaking amazing it’s more tactical and a little more slow pace which I love. 10/10

    It was frustrating waiting for the server to work at first, then the matchmaking was so instantly when the server was working! Voice chat is back bois! Also haven't played the campaign but I'm sure it will be visually stunning.

    Лучшая аркадная стрельба которую я видел, классный графон и такой же сочный мультиплеер который затянет на долго, с клюквы не горит ибо всеравно, так что минусов для себя не нашел (кроме фризов в кастсценах)

    шикарная игра в которой показана война как она есть-в ней нет правых, добрых и тд. все в ней выступают в роли в лучшем случае нейтральных персонажей. а в плане мультиплеера так это вообще лучшая часть во всей серии

    I read some of the Critic's reviews and I hate to see that once again a Game is judged on political/ideological basis rather than entertainment value/mechanics.     Like it or not, the soldiers don't chose to go where they're sent or do or so much as ponder in depth the reasons/moral high ground of what they're doing because it's not really for the to do so, The burden is on the political class and the people who elect them who decide when and how to use the military. The military being an extension(tool) of foreign policy by other means and if you trust that system, then you must believe that whet they're ordering you to do is the right thing. And when placed in that position it is important to believe in what you're doing is the right thing and not overthink the reality of a situation. That sometimes comes afterwards and people come to different conclusions....denying the reality is also a good way of coping/living with what what you did or had to do when others put you in a situation over which you have no control. War is a dirty business that we try and keep clean and glorify because it's the only way to keep going.
    In terms of the Game devs....they have to pick the side where the game will make the most sales and provide them with an unambiguous feel good factor. Can you imagine the outcry if they showed a drone strike hitting the wrong target killing a bunch of kids? A wrongly identified Hospital in Afghanistan getting bombed by US forces? I mean you'd be alienating all your audience (the part of the audience who for some reason takes a game as being more than just...a game and confuse it for real world) instead of just the ones you chose in your scenario as the Bad guys.
    Ultimately, that's why you should never confuse games with reality and the obsession of Game critics these days to do so, drives the Devs and audiences to do so and it's only ever a bad thing    … Expand

    Eu particularmente gostei de mais do jogo, fazia muito tempo que eu não jogava cod por conta dos temas que eles optaram nos jogos anteriores, mas esse game me lembra muito o MW3, jogo perfeito, faz 1 semana que estou jogando, no inicio o game tinha alguns bugs, mas compensa a diversão e estão sendo resolvidos, mas a diversão desse game é insano.     Game is awesome. Campaign is just a war story, who cares. You are supposed play for entertainment... Game is a awesome shooter.

    this game is pretty awesome the gun play is fast and addictive. campaign is also pretty good BUT ONE THING IS NOT OK : the disrespect against russian people( and im not russian i am from germany) its a way too much for my opinion. russians are no monsters i have many russian friends and a bit too much against russians in this game. this is definitly NOT okay. typical stupid american ****

    Pre-ordered this game. My first thoughts were "well, here goes nothing". Hearing about the controversies -multiple critics crying over the heavy subject of the game (yeah, war ain't no happy place), and white phosphorus killstreak removal - I wanted to see more and more. October 25th came. HELL **** YES - no school, no work to do, time to play this game and see if all of the news are true.Pre-ordered this game. My first thoughts were "well, here goes nothing". Hearing about the controversies -multiple critics crying over the heavy subject of the game (yeah, war ain't no happy place), and white phosphorus killstreak removal - I wanted to see more and more. October 25th came. HELL **** YES - no school, no work to do, time to play this game and see if all of the news are true. First seeing the massive size of that thing, I took one step back. waited for the download to be done, all the shaders and other optimalizations done, I went into the dark with Captain Price, fought alongside Farah, Alex and Hadir in the Urzikstani revolutions, chased Russians all over the world. The point is: the graphics, the sounds, the dialogues - all of that made me feel like I was part of something huge. It was mesmerising. The subject is really heavy that heavy, it wasnt a lie. Not for the faint hearted. And guys, come on! Stop spamming nAtO pRoPaGaNdA, because its simply not true: the campaign shows the horrific truth of wars, the civilian casualities, the relief efforts, and all in all the fate of war orphans and families. The game aknowledges the freedom fighters, as well as the terrorists, the ones who spit on the government and the ones who use their powers for their own good.
    The Multiplayer
    It is full of energy, maps and game modes. Its a good tool to release some steam and to break through the monotonity of the weekdays. You should really try it. :)    … Expand

    It’s hard to tell why there was so much ado about single-player campaign: controversial topics aside, it’s completely mediocre. On the other hand, the multiplayer mode is one of the best in latest instalments of Call of Duty series. [Issue#241, p.49]

    It’s undeniably well-made albeit controversial part of the series. One that tries to break the mold and open itself to another kind of player. It’s worth of praise, even if just for that. I recommend it especially to Battlefield players – you may be pleasantly surprised. [13/2019, p.50]
