    Rating this piece of crap 0, because I have it and I can't play it. IW turbo next gen development made it unplayable. There's no optimisation.     Rating this piece of crap 0, because I have it and I can't play it. IW turbo next gen development made it unplayable. There's no optimisation. Despite lowing option by option graphics I ended in 60fps right about in Wolfenstein 3D. IW leave CoD to Treyarch. All the perks and setting mechanics is soo crapy compared to BO2. Maps are like Gotham City Impostors. Textures looks like bad tonemapped pseudo-hdr. And of course 65GB of disk space... CoD Ghosts is one of the biggest failures I've seen in years. There are indie studios, which would create soo much better game than "pros" from your studios. Time to beat the hell from your keyboards, kick everybody from Quality, ban every tester because they clearly have no idea how gamers want to spend free time.    … Expand

    This Game has so many bad reviews, Steam doesn't even show the Metacritic score.... wow. I have been Call of Duty fan since it first came out in 2003, it was kind of sad to see the newest editions are just stupid. Not to mention this game has horrible graphics (compared to the last one) and the lack of video options.     Epic failure on all proportions. Never will I buy another POS COD game. I have almost all of them. The hack jobs have made this game completely worthless to me. Activision I hope you see all these comments and know that you will not con people on your next BS game. And 6gb Ram is BS.

    This game is the reason I don like COD anymore. I loved it before but this shows me they just don't want to try anymore. I haven't even had the chance to play one full match(multiplayer) and/or mission (campaign). The game just needs a lot of memory and disk power. I have a very good processor in my laptop and nothing looks right. The maps take ages to load, if it loads and    WASTE OF MONEY

Looking out for Titanfall and hope the trailers for the next cod won't be so high quality so i may actualy resist buying it.     Awful mission design check.
    Worst performance to graphics ratio check.
    By FAR the worst plot for a "story" in ANY game I've ever played check.

    Nothing good to report for this game. If you never played any CoD game and want to buy it- don't pay more than $5 for it.

    The game on PC is utterly abysmal. It runs like garbage for having such incredibly poor texture quality, even with maxing out at the highest of settings. The outrageously high amount of data needed for install boggles me with how poor the game runs. I tried getting my money back but unfortunately, Activision doesn't see things my way... I'm not surprised.

    The most terrible game i've played the last 2 decades. Game is stuttering all over the place on both low and high video settings, buggy textures, the most ridiculous guns from which it doesn't even matter where or when or how you shoot. You kill things in 2 hits, if you shoot in the arm, leg, stomach or chest nothing will make any difference.

    So I bought the Hardened edition, had to buy a new graphics card, and 3 days later I was really looking foward to finally play the game, but what a disappointment, this is by far they worst COD ever released.     Don't waste your money on the PC version, way to many issues to mention. This was a poor port and a money grab. Although the consoles have tremendous hacker issues. The 10 star rating here was a plant for sure.

    I was excited to get this game and play it as I am a huge fan of the COD series. This one was such a disappointment. You die much too fast, there are FPS drops everywhere, and there just seems to be a distinct lack of polish. It is blatantly obvious that this was a straight port, especially in the Extinction game mode. Absolutely horrible.

    The maps. Between being too open and the spawns being all over the place ranging from out in the middle of nowhere on the map, to spawning you behind the person that killed you, to in front of another player. I really did enjoy it for everything but those two things because they make it a completely different game. I have adjusted to it but its just not the same experience.

    Single player was its usual par for the course action through linear maps of connecting hallways. Some people find the multiplayer part of the game absolutely great. Which makes me feel like I haven't tried. Even though I've already put in 100 hours into the game, meanwhile the person who said its great has played for maybe 24 hours who also promptly told me I just suck even though he could only kill me from behind.

    The constantly getting shot from every possible angle. The constant fear of wondering where bullets are going to come from. So you cower down behind a bush and wait for an enemy to run by and you don't feel good about what you did. I would say this game could cause flare ups of PTSD for retired soldiers. A game isn't supposed to do that. A game is supposed to be fun. But congrats on getting the realism right.    … Expand

    have played all the COD's and this is the worst by a long way. inane story in singleplayer. dog makes multiplayer too uneven but worst of all the graphics. COD 1 had better graphics FFS. never again.

Why they even released this on PC is beyond me as they clearly couldn't care less about the platform. Black ops 2 was actually quite good on PC, this though is probably the most disappointing game I have ever played. Seeing how most CoD games generally have over 10,000+ users currently playing on Steam, this game never reaches over 5,000, that's telling you something. So buying them cheap, to avoid a bad buy, but this game is a whole different boat. It deliberately felt like they just released it in its current state just to bring in some extra money on top of what they got from the console releases.

    I'm going to give this game a 0, because with my current rig, which is really good, I simply cannot even play the game. The FPS stutter/drop is happening every 1-3 seconds, and lasts 1-3 seconds. I can't even aim, and I can't even run in a straight line. you Activision/Infinity Ward, this is the last time I ever give you money.     To prove this game is even more a console rip-off: If you put a xbox controller in your PC, you would get aim assist.....

    Well, the multiplayer is one big joke. They overcimplicated the perk system, deleted the imense popular game mode "search and destroy" and replaced it with a lame version of it. This means that the game hasn't got a single one "no respawn" game mode. Also lag is still an big issue, especially when you play with parties. The game randomly crashes and in my case the game delivers every 30 minutes max a bluescreen of death.

    Well with so much wrong and almost 2 months after launch you should have expected some patches that fixed some of these things. Especially because they promised better PC-support. Now what exactly of what I described above did they patch? Nothing, not a single THING. nada noppes zilch.

    IW has lost a fan this year, better wait for BO3 guys, atleast Treyarch puts some effort in the PC version... And while all these problems in Ghosts continue the team over at IW is laughing their asses of and already making trailers for their "DLC" wich is probably going to be just as bad as the game.

    For IW: If you want to make a respected game, simply listen to the PC community. But even if the entire community screams of horror about your game. you guys will still change nothing. Maybe this will help you renember: You make the game for the people right? So why don't you listen to the people? It's more becoming a hobby for you guys to make worse games every year.    … Expand

The Call of Duty franchise has become lazy in the making of there games. It also has one of the worst fan bases of all of them games.     The game is fun, but lacking. Elements of epic but now IW (the devs Infinity Ward) are ripping of Black Ops II's zombies with the Extinction mode. Sad.

Don't even get started on the multiplayer, it is almost unplayable, it seems the only people playing on PC are hackers/modders using wall hacks and aim bots (literally locking onto your head through walls). But, after a month i couldn't use a sniper scope without getting frame rate drops to 5-10 fps from 60 fps. I have made inquiries to Activision but, to no avail. They still have not lived up to their better Modern Warfare 1&2.     Yet again, a copy and paste game!!!! ThIs game is so bad when it comes to multiplayer. Bad community, lag, unbalanced weapons (like Black Ops RTM and MW2), etc. The singleplayer isn't that bad, but nothing special.

    So, I don't recommend this game. This game is even WORSE than MW3, which was rated as worst game of 2011 by many people.

    They are trying too dam hard to be like battlefield. i have a GTX Titan and i get under 45 frames on certain levels. When i get under 45 frames in battlefield 4 its when i'm seeing the entire map with explosions going off and high resolution trees falling and destroying buildings. BUT NO, IN COD i get under 45 frames staring at a poorly textured tree!!

    Played for 15 minutes and go bored.

    Decided to play Betafield 4 instead.

    That crashed on my 2nd game.

    Went outside and enjoyed the fresh air.

It's almost as if they are trying to make this a horrible game. Then, there are the mouse sensitivity jumps. I don't know what causes this, but seemly at random times, the mouse randomly changes sensitivity, making it very difficult to play.

    If anyone reading this is thinking about buying this game, even after seeing all these low scores, don't.. Just don't. I pre-ordered it, thinking it would be an improvement over Black Ops 2 (an amazing game) but came to realize in the first hour of playing it, that it was an awful game. I have tried and tried again to give it another chance because I want to like it. Maybe it's because I don't want to feel like I wasted $60 on a POS game, but I can't.

    Recently, I was playing just to get the last of my cards from the game, and maybe make $0.50, so I would have enough in my Steam wallet to buy Goat Simulator when it comes out. I played for under an hour, and the game makes my second monitor go black, crashes twice, and forcibly changes my Windows them from Aero to basic.

    Overall, I hope no one buys this game in the future, and I wish that I nor anyone else wasted there money on this game in the past. I will never buy another CoD game again, and I hope that Activision goes out of business after this fail of a game. (I know this will not happen, but one can dream)

    I dont understand how this game can be called good in any way. The campaign mode is fun and entertaining but the levels are to short and the whole thing can be finished in one night. For the live/multiplayer part of the game i give it an absolute zero. The guns are way to over powered, letting you get killed with 2-3 bullets from an SMG or 2 bullets from a pistol. It just doesnt makeI dont understand how this game can be called good in any way. The spawing is horrible as you get killed with in two seconds of spawning. The only good thing about the game is the four maps that are used for game battles or COD eSports.     Terrible game, just another failure in the COD franchise. Reused assests, unoptimised, looks terrible and dated when it first came out. And they call themselves AAA, pfft, they're just hocking off the same old **** year after year for $110.

    Just played it on steam for free weekend. But deleted it after 5 minutes of playing. The graphics are so bad, cod 4 looks better. I also had fps drops, and to connect to a game it takes ages.

    There is enough said already about the fail of this game. Besides the weapon i like quiet a bit and the not completly waste of the create-a-class-system is not much more to like. but what made me realy rate this game was the Snoop-Dog-Soundpack. Thats just to much.     Welcome to more churned out Call Of Duty rubbish. Awkward controls, stuttering multiplayer and regurgitated graphics. COD is a dead franchise too all but the 16 and under age group with consoles.

    This game is the most disappointing piece of garbage on the planet earth. I liked Modern Warfare 2, and I liked Black ops 1, Black ops 2 wasn't worth playing, and this? This is terrible. The graphics are the same or worse than MW2, the maps are repulsive, and the gameplay hasn't improved. I am no longer a Call of Duty fan, and I will never buy another Call of Duty game.

    Non-existent dedicated servers (those of us who pre-purchased were shafted), poor lag compensation, unrealistic implementation of dogs, no ability to cut off irritating music, no anti-cheat in the beginning now a joke for anti-cheat in VAC, and the list goes on...I like Alex's comments: Minimum of efforts. Maximum of income. It's policy of Activision. Never again!!!

    This game feels like any other Call of Duty, pray and spray and after many many years of this same game, I'm sick of it. I have moved on and this game was just the end for me. Do not buy this game, it will not even run on my computer but my Xbox runs it fine. This game was just a money grabber.

    Worst COD game ever. Unoptimized for pc. Graphics are outdated. Lags out the A$$, more hackers than all of COD combined! My PC is top of the line: Intel i7-3970X 3.50 GHz, 16gd DDR3, 3 way-sli GTX Titans. The game still runs like crap. DO NOT BUY!

The Maps are all Terrible! they have absolutely no new interesting game modes (Matter of fact, they've removed many of the funnest game modes) All Assault Rifles are a 2 shot kill and Shotguns are spammable. The Spawns are horrific and the kill streaks are generic and stupid. SupportLet me just start off with say that this game is the worst Call of Duty that has ever been released. I've been playing Call Of Duty since CoD 2 and if you're looking for a decent CoD game, then don't buy Ghosts, it's truly the biggest waste of money I've ever spent and I do not see myself touching in the future...     This game is optimized very poorly. I have a 4gb 760, which is what Nvidia recommends for the game, and i can get over 45. And to top it all off, it stutters so much, the game is unplayable, and that's not even with the settings all the way up.

    Nope. You aren't making me buy this one Infinity Ward. Your games have always been pure cluster**** of little brats calling me a fa* and q****. This game is the worst game I've ever tried. The singleplayer doesn't have a good plot, it's only cool guys in uniforms talking shi*. The hype the CoD fans and have created makes me sick. I am so sick of your shi* that I don't even feel bad writing this.

On top of that, this game brought my machine to it's knees, giving me an average of 30 FPS, while I could play games such as Black Ops 2, BF3, and even Crysis 2 with much better performance.     To be honest, I am being as UNBIASED as possible, but it is impossible to even show a shred of respect for this title, even if I were to play it on console, I expect no less than shear disappointment. If you are looking for a fun Call Of Duty game, I'd recommend Black Ops 2. The graphics are still pretty decent, and it doesn't bog down your entire PC for no apparent reason. On top of that, the gameplay is much better, and overall more interesting, and innovative than anything Infinity Ward has given us in the past three years.    … Expand
