    it's Call of Duty... with a dog.. and fish AI that make you unable to play unless you have 6 GB RAM which is pure insanity

    Since MW2 COD sinks deeper and deeper. This game is for me the end of the series. I wont buy the next titles, because i will no longer support such greedy sacks (sorry for sacks). Will you support them, or are you fresh for new First Person Shooters? I said fresh.

    Just like MW3, Ghosts has proven itself as a horribly failed Call of Duty game. Bringing nothing new to the franchise, it also takes away smooth and stable gameplay of older CoD games to a buggy, unfinished, terribly optimized piece of overrated trash. This 28,5 GBs joke of a game is only good for laughs to the incredibly silly quicktime events.

I mean honestly PayDay 2 has better graphics. I thought it would be cool that you could customize a character and become a woman. I think thats the only improvement this game has made.

    Horrible games, may the worst game in the COD series, bad graphics, bad story, bad multiplayer. I'm so disappointed, and WTF, the system requirements, the graphics is very bad, I't can't compare to Battlefield 3 using Frostbite2, and Battlefield 4 using Frostbite3 does NOT need 6gb ram to play.

    Worst game of the year. IGN and others who gave this game such a high score are obviously money hungry idiots who don't care at all about Gaming community. No optimization, bad sounds, 4 HOUR CAMPAING. I think even the campains it's worse than BF4's campaing. Nothing new, just minking the franchise. Again. And again. And again.

    i thought after MW3, ghosts could only be an improvement, i was wrong, so wrong, the spawns are worse, the maps are worse, the netcode is worse, the optimization is therees just oo much wrong with this game. it has a couple of decent feattures, but none enough to make it more then a 2. I dont know how you did it infinity ward, you manged to make a game worse then MW3.

    Hell yeah i have 16GB Ram and had no problems with installation andor requirements. But... BUTT!
    Same game from greedy guys. Made game for consoles not for PC. I can't even name that "shooter" no aim, small maps, no skill.
    Wont buy any "CoD" games anymore.
    his is a step back from Black Ops 2 in almost every way. No FoV slider on PC version, or FPS cap setting, both of which were present in BO2. Bugs in MW3 that were addressed in BO2 are now somehow back in Ghosts, for example the random jumps in mouse sensitivity that happen if certain programs are running in the background (such as FRAPs). Theater mode, one of the best features of recent Call of Duty games, has been removed. Optimization wise, my computer runs Battlefield 4 on max settings at higher frame rates than Ghosts. Image quality defaults to 'high', which causes upscaling of resolution like a console game rather than rendering at your chosen resolution. Sound effects sound like they were taken straight from MW3.     Surelly its the worst game from the call of duty series, it is just crappy. Dont deserve even a pinny. I cant describe how frustrating it is, basically i have played all the call of duty series, some very good, others more or less, but this one has surelly ended the series. Very heavyy, bad graphics, single-player bad made, etc!! BATTLEFIELD 4 is much more fun

    6 Gb RAM hard-lock on totally outdated eight-year-old engine is one of the most insanely idiotic things I ever seen. At no point in making of this retarded decision were you ever close to anything that can be considered a rational thought. Every COD:Ghosts owner is now dumber for having bought it.     Pre purchased this game days ago. Pre load this game 3 days ago. Different regions have different unlocking time which is unfair. People in Russia and France can play it about 15 hours earlier than people in Canada. If you pre load both MP and SP, when you click play button after unlock, it will unpack SP files but also instantly wipe out all MP files which contains shared file which meansPre purchased this game days ago. Another fatal flaw is 6GB damn ram requirement. I have 24GB ram and I have no issue with it at this point. But I know many people's pc still has 4 GB ram and 4 GB for playing games at low or med settings is totally enough. According to my experience with 3D software and after effects software and games, only a long image rendering queue uses over 4GB ram which can take over 16GB ram. But not a single game. It is simple. And from reports, ghosts doesn't need 6GB to run, it only uses 2GB so 4GB is good to go. I know it is good for people to warn them that their system might not be good to handle a game. But polite notice or warning is good, simply blocking people from playing it is bad, I am serious, really bad.… Expand

Fail of the year, official position IW if requirements low go to the shop and buy more ram/cpu/videocard/audio/motherbord and mostly important reinstall your windows to x64 if you want play in another case game not start. And all of this you need do to play 4 hours campain. LOL. Seriously, just buy new BF.

    It's just poor, the game itself lack of immersion, It's always just about the same multiplayer and a throw-in singleplayer, the story script is just cheesy, the whole game feels cheesy, the character animation are over used since many many years ago, such a game isn't really bad at first, but after al these years, seiously, we are tired of it

They are counting all our money. Only way to fix this is to stop supporting them. Don't buy their games anymore. That would force them to make a complete overhaul of this garbage.

I cranked everything up on high and the game looked like garbage and ran terribly. I hope this is a reality check to the CoD franchise. This game is trash and they should be embarassed by their game.     The most terrible game i've played the last 2 decades. Game is stuttering all over the place on both low and high video settings, buggy textures, the most ridiculous guns from which it doesn't even matter where or when or how you shoot. You kill things in 2 hits, if you shoot in the arm, leg, stomach or chest nothing will make any difference.

In my mind, I kidded myself thinking this year it would be different, this year (especially with the advent of next gen) COD would look amazing, play amazing and after the fallout from BO2, Infinity Ward would do something... interesting with the game. I have played probably around 7 matches. And I hate this game. Same old stuff graphics no improvement. Gameplay boring as hell. Poor spawning. Connection issues. Snipers still bloody camping. I discovered Battlefield BC2 a while back and have been a fan of the series since. I have never been a fanboy type, but seriously, BF4 (even with the games many technical issues re connection, rubber banding, stat losses, etc) is a far far better game. Even BF3 is far superior to COD Ghosts.
    I could go on here and make this pretty extensive, however I am itching to play some more BF4, so will keep this brief. In summary: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GAME. ITS THE SAME AS ALL THE OTHER CODS. Boring, full of campers, poor graphics (I am on a high end PC and this game looks ancient), poor gameplay, poor optimisation, no way to adjust key things like ADS sensitivities, etc.
    I think this is the end of the COD franchise (I hope so anyway) especially with the likes of BF4, Destiny, Titanfall and others coming out which are far better games. Goodbye COD, I will not miss you.    … Expand

I have an i7- 3770k running 4.5 with a single 780 FTW and 32 GB of ram and this game stutters. for some reason fps are capped at 90 even with the vsync off and refresh rate set at 120.     Graphics are terrible, even worse then cod wow i would say. Players randomly teliport, the menu stutters cant even play single player because the cut scenes crash the game. Not optimized at all. They should be shot.

    If i can play bf4 maxed 60+ fps i should be able to play this pile of crap!

I have enjoyed playing many video games and this is at the bottom of my list. The game is a resource hog and has nothing special about it, under Audio there is one setting, just one, a slider that goes back and forth. The squads wargame was a good idea for beginners but it failed after 1 week of no one using it.     But the players (the most important critics) have spoken.
    CoD is well and truly dying and the slow sales of this latest installment may well be one of the final nails in it's overdue coffin.

    Read this out loud: "POOF!" I guarantee that sounds better than anything in game.

    Man Ghosts on the PC is so bad!!! Multiplayer graphics are junk. Gameplay is worse than BO2. Gun sounds are cartoonish. The game overall is worse than BO2. Id give it a negative score if i could. My biggest problem is with the graphics tho, just appalling. Im using my pre-order bonus Ghosts bandanna to wipe my arse with!

    - Field of View is locked at 65 degrees, no slider like in BF4 or Black Ops 2.

    - No multi-screen Eyefinity/surround gaming support

    - No Ping displayed in multiplayer.

    - No Search Preferences selection what-so-ever. You will not know you are in a laggy game into you watch your Killcam Replay and realize you show up on your opponents screen much earlier than he does on yours.

    - Lots of freezes and crashes. Some are recoverable crashes to desktop, others are BSOD and reboot the computer.

    -FPS cap'd at 91fps

    -6gb ram requirement even though it uses less than 2gb of system ram

    -Memory leaks everywhere

    Do yourself a favor an wait to see if Activision Infinity Ward fixes this title before you buy. One look on the COD PC discussion forum and you will know the truth.    … Expand

    We have been dooped again from I W. The players still wobble when they run, graphics on highest setting is awe-ful. Has the feeling of the old game with a new map. The physics are crap too. Im pretty sure I will never own another piece of call of duty anything. I am tired of them getting rich off of people like me who work hard and end up with a rummage sale item.

    Absolute Look at TotalBiscuit's review for more information. I can barely run this while I run BF4 at High 45-60 FPS. The game looks as hell, and IW just does not give a about PC gamers. Do not buy this game.

Well looks like I spent $60 for a campaign game I will stick to battlefield from now on lesson learned on this release. Oh and the graphics are terrible.. Your pistol looks ridiculous.     Support Abysmal! I have dual gtx580 and this game runs so badly on it it can handle crysis 3 flawlessly!
    Attitude towards PC gamers nil, IW and Activision should be ashamed of themselves no FOV, FPS 60 only and very very poorly optimised game
    Lastly its recycled garbage long live modern warfare 4 I will never buy another IW game ever

    Horrible PC port there is literally 0 optimization done on the game. People who have SLI/Crossfire get the same FPS if they were running 1 card. There's also incredible micro-stutter if you have more than 1 card active.
    Absolutely terrible net code, it feels like MW3 but it's so much worse.
    Weapons kill you in an absolute heartbeat, it feels like I'm playing hardcore while playing core. (I don't want to imagine how terrible hardcore is.)
    Level design is absolutely terrible you're always being constantly thrown into peoples faces. What ever happened to sight lines and amazing level design from the CoD4 & MW2 dev team? OH WAIT, the developers of InfinityWard that made MW2 & COD4 are actually gone and working on Titanfall at Respawn Entertainment.
    InfinityWard is just a big shadow of its former self, all it has is a title. Nothing more, nothing less.
    There is no support for PC the game is so limited in functionality it's depressing. There is no FoV slider, FPS setting, proper dedicated servers, mod tools, and finally support. Literally none of the developers of IW/Neversoft/Sledgehammer care about PC.
    Multiplayer feels like you're playing on steroids while running around and getting shot in the back thanks to the terrible spawn system (and very terrible map design).
    Modders could create better balanced maps than the level designers and in a fraction of the time that they had.

    In-truth this game deserves an honest 0 by everyone, you can see it for yourself the user scores are the truth. Don't buy this game, get Battlefield 4.

    The Multiplayer is always the same as in other CoD Titles it´s like you buying a 59$ DLC for your Call of Duty 4 .

    6 Gb RAM in requirements is also a problem i saw better graphics with less RAm ^^

    AI i have filling that they wanted to create a feeling that there are soldiers on your team and not all enemy's focus on u (thou tanks have only one aim kill you which is plain stupid but this resulted in enemy's not wanting to kill you. Graphics well games are not about graphic but this title have nothing else so i will say few words about it. It s not bad dynamic lighting looks awesome. Some other effects are pretty cool to can't complain but then comes the textures i recently played HL2 and textures were i want say better but more appealing.(almost 10 years of "progress"). fixing FOV at 65 why do that i can not find any justification for that. I played game on the best settings i were i can not imagine how it looks on lower settings.
    MP well it's pretty much average COD MP. I really enjoy maps they are good. but why 6 people not 8 it would be better since maps seams a bit to big for 12 players only. lvl system is pretty descent maybe there is too much sprayers thou well its cod after all.

    i'd probably give mp a try and play it more. But definitely not coming back to SP.

    Why two days passed and nobody addressed disappointed players no patches, instead we here about how good game sales and that they sued people who actually tried to fix the game developers should be ashamed forcing 6 gb ram (well i don't care i have 16 but why not let people play your game )
    also i got the feeling that it;s not final product. I woefully regret my purchase and would not recommend this to anyone. It's a poor 360 port and it shows.

    To be completely honest, this feels like a cheap f2p game rather than something you ask 60 euros for. In fact, many f2p games ARE better than this turd. Stay clear.    … Expand

Paying no attention to the gaming community and arrogantly made CoD in his own image, the game now feels like running around on a grave yard of past grandeur. Most of the "alternative" game modes are now gone, probably because he didn't like them, i.e. Demolition, Sabotage, etc. It's only S&R (Search and Rescue) TDM and FFA left,Mark Rubin has single-handedly ruined the CoD franchise. And since he don't have any friends or understand the concept of communities, he don't see the value of dedicated servers either, so he removed them too. And because his track record speaks for itself, (he's quite dim), 18 players was a bit too much to handle, so he capped it at 12 and 8 for most of the maps. The rather small number of concurrent players makes the gaming experience just dull. You always feel like you're on a half-empty server, always wondering where the action "really" is.

    The low FOV makes you feel like you are wearing dive mask or something, again probably how a very narrow minded person perceives the world, so for him, it looks perfectly normal.

    So what you thought was impossible in 2007, namely destroying the Call of Duty franchise, Mark Rubin did. He'll go down in history as the man who single-handedly destroyed one of the worlds strongest brands in less than a decade. How embarrassing. It seems incredible but Mark Rubin and IW never understood what made their own game tick. What a sad day for gaming.    … Expand

    So today I received this game for free, as a gift from a magazine I'm subscribed to. To my surprise, I needed 6GB of RAM. Bit steep, but okay, the graphics quality will suffer a bit, no biggie, as long as the game runs I'm fine with it. Turns out, the game does not even launch if you do not meet the 6GB of RAM.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. All games get bugs in the first week of launch so that has nothing to do with the score. Instead the story is literally awful, boring (shoot a wave and go, wave and go, repeat over and over), and incredibly predictable. I will admit i did not expect the ending, but it was the worst cliff hanger in history. Now the multiplayer, they tried so hard to innovate that they literally made the worst CoD i have ever played (i played every single one except CoD 3). Its just not the same fun feeling i had, instead its just a series of frustrating events (awful spawns lead to camping, camping leads to hide and seek instead of run and gun that it should be). Lastly, graphics mean little to me as long as the game is good, but you think if they made the campaign this short and bad, with this kind of multiplayer, they could have tried to make a beautiful game with the amount of money they had? I used to be a "CoD is better than Battlefield" guy. Now on this game im about to hop the fence.… Expand
