    This finally represents the rebalancing of the Call of Duty franchise. The playing field is now much more level. With all the tools and gadgets a hell of a lot more variety and randomness as well as unpredictability has been introduced into the game making it competitive for all.

    That's what veterans who've dominated the game don't like. They don't like someone else coming along and whipping their butt because they are more creative. The rules should always make a competitive game not a club of elites who firever dominate. Take snipers. They've dominated for so long. What do they do that's skillful? They just camp and wait with a scope. Where's the skill in that? And if he misses he should be penalised and the advantage go to the opponent. Now the opponent can hunt him down before he gets away so that's more than fair.

    Seeing through walls. This is advanced warfare. We have heat seeking missiles as well as technology which can detect a heat signature so why not use it? This game was very well thought out. Yes it's linear but so are all COD games. It's not Far Cry.

    Another thing is what rig you play it on. This game has awesome graphics, sound and effects but what you get depends on how good your PC is. On my PC and GPU and with surround headphones I get an experience and immersion that makes me feel I'm right there myself. But others with weaker hardware may get a very ordinary experience.

    I'm just loving this and so far it's the best COD I've played. This is definitely a change for the better. New tools, new problems and a whole new game. For the campers and snipers and veterans of previous versions if you're good enough you'll make your mark here to but now you're made to earn it knowing one missed snipe will have a mob of eco suited enemies on your doorstep. You're no longer a protected species and can be hunted and got to as fast as you can flee so the onus on you now is not to miss. Now your skill is really being tested. Anyone can camp and snipe endlessly where nobody can get to them but now you can be gotten to in a flash and thus we hear your moaning and groaning.     This game feels like a completely new Call of Duty! The graphics are much better than previously and the sound has been also improved too. The facial animation is astonishing and having Kevin Spacey as a really good actor in the game is awesome. Moreover the game has been bug free on day-1. This is something where Ubisoft and EA I.e. failed lately! Advanced Warfare doesn't have Nvidia-onlyThis game feels like a completely new Call of Duty!     This game has been the funnest call of duty game since black ops 1, I don't know why everyone is having a sook about it! People complaining about servers, your internet is probably so stop taking it out on the game.

    I really don't you guys at all...when a game ships, like Assassins Creed Unity, which is un-runnable even on the highest end hardware, you **** that it's a poor console port, and that they did a terrible job with optimization. When a game ships like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, with graphics capable of running even on $400 gaming PCs with APUs, you call it a terrible console port withI really don't you guys at all...when a game ships, like Assassins Creed Unity, which is un-runnable even on the highest end hardware, you **** that it's a poor console port, and that they did a terrible job with optimization. At what point does your opinion balance out? or are you just trolling?... At least Sledgehammer is smart and knows a LOT of people are going to buy this game and be able to run it on modest hardware.     People seriously need to calm down. Is this game revolutionary? No of course it isn't. It's the next COD game. I don't see what all these negative reviews were expecting when they bought the latest **** Call of Duty game, if half of them even bought it. Reviewing things like this doesn't get your point across, Activision isn't going to see your negative reviews and decide "well guys theyPeople seriously need to calm down. Is this game revolutionary? Not a plot that makes you think too hard but rather an excuse to use some of the new stuff on display.     This game is new, not a copy and paste. I bet half of the people who rated this game bad don't even have this game. The maps are sized of cod ghost maps but it feels like i am playing mw2 !

It is streets ahead of Ghosts in every aspect and really puts Infinity Ward to absolute shame. Even Treyarch need to raise their game for next year. Sledgehammer have essentially taken the best aspects of past games and fused themThis is probably the best Call of Duty since MW2.     The gameplay is fast, the guns are incredible fun, the matches flow superbly and every second is really enjoyable. The maps are simply stunning to look at and their designs & layouts make way for some frantic action.

    The optimisation for PC which has been heavily questioned after Ghosts and Sledgehammer's silence in the media; is actually riddled with depth and all the key elements to compliment your rig. I really did not expect much but they really have hit the nail on the head from a technical standpoint.

    I've not enjoyed COD since the Black Ops days but this is a game that really rejuvenates my desire for the franchise. After the pitiful Ghosts last year; this game simply had to deliver and it truly has. SHG took a risk for their first outing and it really paid off in what could be a genre-defining title.    … Expand

    I have tried the multiplayer, outstanding graphics and performance. As I thought the graphics are similar to Black Ops series and I like it. Ghosts was disaster, this changes everything, realy.

    well call of duty advanced warfare is in my books one super badass game, The singleplayer is as expected from a call of duty the voice acting is amazing, sounds/music is mediocre but overall the campaing is really fun!     People tend to dismiss this game due to having a new type of play style needed. Actually, this play style is quite unique in its own way thanks to the exo suit. Multiplayer for CoD will always be the same in terms of beating the other team, but AW decided to take the classic play style and amp it up a good notch. Also, classic multiplayer is there for those who do not enjoy the newPeople tend to dismiss this game due to having a new type of play style needed.     COD:AW is by far one of the best COD game I`ve played. All 3 game modes are fun to play (with a bit of zombies at the end of COOP).

    Like it or not but if game is crashing for you then your PC/Laptop is not good enough to play it and Yes you might get 100 fps on CS:GO but that`s CS:GO not COD. I had no issues with it, getting 60+fps on ultra/max with BETA AMD drivers. If your texture are    COD:AW is by far one of the best COD game I`ve played. All 3 game modes are fun to play (with a bit of zombies at the end of COOP).

    I have only been playing this game for a few days, but so far this game has exceeded my expectations. I think anyone who was a fan of quake2/quake3 back in the day should give this a go. This is the kind of MP experience I was really hoping for but didn't get from Titanfall when it came out. And I am also happy with how optimized it is for PC (compared to Ghosts). The SP is also a lot ofI have only been playing this game for a few days, but so far this game has exceeded my expectations. Also, for anyone trying to do the Steam Box / HTPC thing, this game has full controller support with Aim assist and everything. Take this review with a grain of salt if you want. I am one of the few people who actually really liked Ghosts as a game, but I refused to write a positive review for it because I felt like PC gamers really got the shaft on that release.     Well , I am not a Call of duty fan at all.Don't even a call of duty player. I am a lover of Sci-fi game.And as this Call of duty game has turned into a great Sci-fi game containing a great gameplay, multyplayer,graphics,story,fun,action and environments, I don't just like this one. I love this one

    Fun game really enjoying it. Would like to re-iterate what another user has said, the game doesnt run on the same old engine and it does have dedicated servers, just no lobby where you can pick from populated games of your choice like bf4, but lets be honest, bf4 is a abortion of a game, i have had more fun in 10 hours of advanced warfare multiplayer than i had in 200 hours of bf4 multiplayer.

    Best COD in years. The only down point here is the co-op mode. The best thing from many games. Domination mode now is incredible, no more campers. You must run to save the day.

    Much better than Ghosts in every possible way. The game performs well usually getting 90fps constant on my PC. (i7 3770k, GTX680, 16GB ram.) The game has 24 different graphics options and allows you to change fov up to 90. This game is probably the most fast paced in the franchise and I like it. I haven't played a CoD game frequently since MW2 but this looks like it could be the one. ItMuch better than Ghosts in every possible way. Co-Op involves 4 people fighting waves of soldiers, mechs, drones, etc. Allowing you to get new weapons, upgrade weapons, random killstreak drops and bonus abilities (max ammo etc.) Overall the multiplayer feels great and plays well.… Expand

    I think people just WANT to hate this game. If you want to have fun and are looking for a good experience than buy it. It's surprisingly refreshing. It's a shame that the last few CoDs have ruined the franchise name. Give it another chance.

    Literally the best game ever made! The game contains beautiful graphics and the weapons feels fun to shot. Singeplayer has a immersive story, great characters and best music ever used in a video game. Multiplayer requires skill and 360 noscoping has never felt better.

    All i can say is I had a lot of fun. I was only playing the single player campaign . I was looking for a game with real FPS experience after the boring attempt of playing Deux Ex MD ,and where can you find that shooter experience if not in COD? People are **** a lot about COD but i think they got used with excellent gameplay mechanics, great spontaneous adventure , rewarding aim and shotAll i can say is I had a lot of fun. I was only playing the single player campaign .     Go get Battlefield if you're that fond of Multiplayer. COD is fabulous with its campaign and story-line.

    Graphics were amazing, gameplay was amazing, story was pretty cliche though unpredictable at some points and thus amazing, I'm telling you everything was amazing about this game and I never got bored not even for one second! Of course Modern Warfare had another taste, Black Ops    Go get Battlefield if you're that fond of Multiplayer. COD is fabulous with its campaign and story-line.

    La campaña sigue teniendo las mismas mecanicas que las ultimas vistas, explosiones, espectacularidad, pasillos, etc...
    Aun con todo, tanto el motor graficos como las voces ayudan a meterse en la historia, y apoyado en el exo es una campaña muy amena de jugar.
    Cosa que no entiendo, esque la personalizacion que teniamos en el BO II se ha visto reducida a elegir que mejoras le ponemos al    La campaña sigue teniendo las mismas mecanicas que las ultimas vistas, explosiones, espectacularidad, pasillos, etc...

    Decir que esta bien puesto que entre hordas podemos cambiar de armas, perks, las rachas, etc...
    Y pasando al multi, pues que decir, que es el cod mas completo hasta la fecha por muchas razones.

    1º Muchos mapas
    2º Muchos modos, dos nuevos que son muy divertidos ( unlink e iniciativa )
    3º Es el primer cod que permite personalizar esteticamente nuestro soldado, dandonos mas razones para jugar y desbloquear cosas con las que fardar :P
    4º El sistema de clases se ha mejorado mas, pasando de las 10 ranuras de BO II, a 13 ( pudiendonos quitar hasta las rachas )

    En lo puramente tecnico, el sonido normal, ni fu ni fa... Los graficos ( por fin ) es un nuevo motor, no es una revolucion ni mucho menos, pero al menos es de este siglo.
    El problema radica aunque esta bien optimizado, hay algunas opciones graficas que hasta que das con ella te chupa muchos recuros, eso unido al lag que y las congelaciones de pantalla algunas partidas sean un suplicio ( con el ultimo parche esto mejoro un poco ).

    Por ultimo decir que el exo, aporta ( desde mi punto de vista ) frescura y frenetismo a las partidas, cosa que le va de lujo a cualquier COD ( y si te gusto como a mi titanfall, mas todavia )    … Expand

    Brilliant game, absolutely stunning for a CoD, I would call this "The new Era of Call of Duty" Exo suits and movements you feel so free and its sooo fast pasted, miles better than Ghosts and graphics matches BF4's, Def A MUST BUY! Best Call of Duty made so far imo (Said from a guy that started with CoD1 and has played every cod)

    Good game. Sledgehammer did a great work for their first product. Mechanics, graphics, storyline, multiplayer mod, all on high level of quality. Some little fellow says "old engine me-me-me, crysis/titanfail me-me-me"

    And once again, the COD hate bandwagon comes flying in. I'm no fanboy, I hated the past few COD games, but for the first time in years, Call of Duty has been revitalised with amazing graphics, a whole new way of playing and it runs perfectly fine, unlike Ghosts.

This is the CoD that fixes almost everything wrong with the previous games. I was never a huge fan of the series since CoD 4, but I find this to be the one that is up to par with CoD4.
    I have been finding the single player to be one    This is a vast improvement over the recent CoD games, especially that last one. CoD has been on the decline for a while and I was losing hope in the series. This is the CoD that fixes almost everything wrong with the previous games. I was never a huge fan of the series since CoD 4, but I find this to be the one that is up to par with CoD4.
    I have been finding the single player to be one of the best in the series, with a great story and characters that are fleshed out. The campaign has a great pace and the addition of the exo suit add so much more mobility to the game with the jet pack and cloak and many other abilities to change things up. The campaign also has a great length, taking about 7 to 8 hours to complete.
    The multiplayer is a huge improvement as well. Feeling so much more fast paced and fluid. With the addition of the exo suit the MP has a much different feeling from the previous games, more in the realm of Quake. Camping is not as much of an issue now since the addition of the exo suit means you have to be quick on your feet to stay alive. Snipers are not as much of an issue now either since they have to be on the move much more now. When choosing your loadout and abilities there is so much more to choose from. The customization choices are vast with so many weapons and abilities to choose from. Even when choosing for score streaks there is abilities that you can add onto the streaks themselves to add even more customization. All in all this is one of the best CoDs in a while. Sledgehammer has rejuvenated a series that was dying.
    CoD AW is also a great PC port, with tons of graphic settings to choose from including PC specific features. It even has a FOV slider for multiplayer that I kind of wish was on the single player as well, but it is not too huge of an issue. This is also a great running game, it usually hovers around 100fps on my 780ti and 144hz monitor with maxed out graphics.    … Expand

The game runs fluidly and feels well balanced. The hitboxes seem to be spot on and honestly I was a bit concerned the new jumping mechanism would be OP but its not it honestly just adds a newCount me as surprised, every COD launch since Black Ops as been a disaster. I'd recommend it to fans of the Call of Duty series, or someone looking for a new FPS to play for a little. PC population tends to die out quickly, and I don't doubt it will happen in the next few months for this game as well, but until then it's a pretty enjoyable time waster.… Expand

    I played a few hours, both a bit of multiplayer and singleplayer so my experience in this game isn't very big. I don't usually like call of duty but I had hope in this one because it doesn't seem to be a lame other copy of older cods. I saw some gameplays and trailers and I found the idea of exo skeletons and futuristic theme in call of duty quite promising.
    Of course I was not very confident, it is still a call of duty and it's Activision blabla.... you know the story...
    BUT! It's sledgehammer who did the developpement, a new studio that never did a whole game themselve, so maybe it will be innovative? Here's what my first impressions were:

    Singleplayer: I did not play much and therefor doesn't know much about the campain, i must admit. But the graphics were quite a surprise for me. First I was watching some screenshots of the game and I was like "Damn it must be a bit photoshopped or something" then on my computer I launched the game, near to max settings 1440p and the only things I can say: Amazing, some says that the engine is old and stuff, but really it doesn't seem so. I played the game and I can guarantee that the graphics of this game is really more than acceptable, okay textures, great lightings, really nice animations and good modelisation. The sounds of weapons may still not beat the quality of the latest battlefield but talking about environment sounds, there's a good job done here.
    I'll talk about the gameplay in the multiplayer section. For the plot of the story, I don't know much about it at the moment so I can't really talk about it.

    Multiplayer: I guess that's what you guys want more in this game, multiplayer. So I played a bit, against players and bots (yes there are bots and private game options).
    I'll start with the gameplay: One of the most nervous fps around, of course I can understand it is not the taste of everyone but I quite enjoyed it, maps are well designed, you can jump high and get to some points of the map to gain some visibility or just snipe some people, you can dash down and smash someone, slide, side dashes, etc. Many people say it's a titanfall ripoff, I played titanfall and trust me, it does not feel the same as titanfall at all ( and advanced warfare was already in developpement when titanfall came out so...). It's really fun, but a bit hard to manoevre. For the weapons I haven't tested them all, there are a lot of funny gadgets and weapons, that's all I can say, oh and the melee attack is a huge punch that sends your victim to the skies, if this is not cool, I don't know what is.

    game modes: This game has casual modes and competitive modes (esport) so everyone should be pleased, an accessible game for anybody and a good game to master and play competitively for the veterans.

    Didn't want to read all my review? no problem, here's the good and cons:

    Goods:
    - Good graphics
    - Solid and fast gameplay
    - Maps are a bit more open than in other call of duties (due to mobility)
    - Innovation compared to other call of duties
    Cons:
    - Expensive (ofc)
    - Too fast for some people I guess

Although it is not the best story it is still fun to play through with great voice acting and sharp new face capture tech adding depth to a fun box office like action adventure. The gun sounds are odd here and there, but they are from the future so I didn't mind the loud wines and soft pop's that sometimes seem not to fit how weapons look. Over all I have and probably will continue to enjoy this game so I say its a good buy for COD fans.… Expand

This is a HUGE problem and i think some guns should get nerfed and some buffed, but that is just me. Overall this game is amazing and i hope it gets even better with the DLC to come.… Expand

    The multiplayer really feels fresh and fun with the exo suits with maps designed around them. Loot drops extend the replayability ten billionfold. Even though gun variations can have more damage, range, etc, the benefits are evened out with reduced other stats, giving you the ability to find the variant for you. Also, Kevin Spacey.

On a 780ti, 3820 i7 and 16gb of ram I am getting close to 100fps at 2560 * 1600. One of my only gripes would be matchmaking and that's because I'm spoiled from dedicated server browsing but nonetheless a fun game that I will be sinking a lot ofI am enjoying this game immensely.     I don't care much on CoD multiplayer because I pretty much gave up on it years ago. It is just overly populated with 14 year olds which takes away from the play experience. Besides Battlefield multiplayer offers more variety and feels more like an actual team vs team battle. CoD somehow never got there and I am guessing that this is intentional to keep the game simply for the younger audience...
    Anyhow, this is probably the best installment for quite some time.
    $50 for a season path of maps seems to be rip off. Especially, since it really feels like the maps are being extracted from the final game to make an extra bug!    … Expand

Yes it is still using an old engine and lacks dedicated servers at the moment but apart from that it is a great game. The graphics good even on my 4 year old machine. The cut scenes from the campaign look great. It doesn't have glare, smoke and snow like BF but given the scale of the combat this makes sense.I've played every COD since the original and this rates up there amongst the best.     I am not a hardcore CoD fan but this is by far the best one i have plated uo to date. Awesome graphics on nextgen and PC, Fast fluent game play. Only bad thing is that i completed the Campaign and all Achievment/Trophies in about 13-15 hours. Have played much MP yet so dont know if its good or bad, I usually buy these games because of the single player/COOP. 8/10 easy.

    Haven't played CoD since MW2. Advanced Warfare is enough of the same to feel comfortable, but systems like "Pick 13" and the ExoSuit make the experience feel fresh, provide tons of customization, and gives a stupidly fun game to kill time. Obvious inspiration from TItanfall, but where Respawn failed in delivering a fully loaded Multiplayer and Single player experience, AW succeed.

    A great move away from CoD Ghosts, the new Titanfall/Crysis-esque mechanics have allowed for a much more fast paced combat system, and some great close up fight action, but they are fairly balanced as they give away your position pretty quickly when you are flying around the map. Graphics are great, some maps are a bit boring but most are great. 8/10 solid fps

    Cons: You can't skip cut scenes and every time you make one graphic change it will replay the cut scene and reload the map, so if you have a graphic issue, like texture tearing due to a setting called sun/spot shadow rendering. Well it took me about 20 minutes to find which setting was causing the issue.

    Antes de começar a falar sobre os modos    Dessa vez o game se passa no ano de 2054, onde a maior força militar mundial pertence a uma corporação privada, cujo o fundador é Jonathan Iron. Depois de ter bases instaladas em quase todos os países, a Atlas quer atacar os EUA, pois a mais de um século que eles vem falhando inúmeras vezes ao tentar instalar democracias em todos os países.
    Antes de começar a falar sobre os modos separadamente, irei falar dos gráficos e dos jogabilidade, pra quem jogou na nova geração e no PC, deve ter se surpreendido com os gráficos de Advanced Warfare, simplesmente foi o maior avanço gráfico da franquia, já pra quem jogou na geração passada não precisa ficar triste, os gráficos da antiga geração são razoavelmente bons.
    Já a jogabilidade é extremamente fácil, se acostumar com os movimentos do exoesqueleto não demora muito, já o resto continua a mesma coisa que os outros jogos da franquia.

    CAMPANHA:
    A história de Advanced Warfare é boa porém previsível, pois ela não prende o jogador. O que faz você continuar a jogar a campanha é a própria gameplay, pois a maioria das missões que há na campanha são realmente muito divertidas.
    As ligações entre os personagens é fraca, você não consegue perceber a amizade entre Gideon e Mitchell e a ligação com Irons e seu filho.
    A dublagem de Advanced Warfare comete vários erros, principalmente em sincronia labial, você vai encontrar varias vezes personagens mexendo a boca sem falar nada. Agora em questão de qualidade da dublagem, são poucos os personagens que combinam com a voz do dublador, e o pior de tudo é que a Activision continua com o descaso em não lançar o jogo em PT-BR para PC, pelo menos uma legenda eles teriam que se dar o trabalho a colocar.

    MULTIPLAYER:
    Se você achava que o exoesqueleto iria trazer muita inovação ao multiplayer, você está errado, logo depois de algumas partidas os movimentos do exo já se tornam "normais" e você quase não nota diferença. O jogo tem pouca variedade de armas e scorestreaks, porém as classes estão bem mais personalizáveis, não irei entrar em muitos detalhes para não alongar a análise.
    Sobre os mapas, na minha opinião, a maioria não presta, são poucos os mapas que me agradaram, e todos, sem exceção, contém paredes invisíveis, e isso irrita muito, principalmente na hora que você precisa fugir de algum oponente.
    Apesar de tudo isso, o multiplayer é bastante divertido, na minha opinião um dos mais divertidos, e isso torna as paredes invisíveis apenas um pequeno incomodo.

    EXO SURVIVAL:
    O exo survival é o que mais deixa a desejar, parece que a sledgehammer games fez esse modo só pelo motivo que o coop vem se tornando obrigatório em todos os COD's, difetente do extinction (COD: Ghosts) e do Zombies(COD: World At War e sequência Black Ops), o Exo survival tem os mesmos mapas que o multiplayer, e isso reforça o que eu disse antes. Porém o modo zombies que irá vir por DLC promete ser muito bom.    … Expand

    I've enjoyed every moment of the game. The campaign was a little short or maybe i was just too invested.
    Gameplay was fun, guns felt great and overall it delieverd a great COD game.
    A lot of people are frustrated with bugs and fps drops, most of them i fixed by changing one setting. The fps drops does get to you sometimes and therefor i can not give it a 10/10 But for the enjoyable    I've enjoyed every moment of the game. The campaign was a little short or maybe i was just too invested.

    Advanced Warfare is definitely one of the most attractive and appealing Call of Duty title at the time of release, at least on the campaign side. Personally, the way AW handles futuristic tech is what I would call the sweetspot of this theme; anything beyond it is just ridiculous.

    This is the most innovative Call of Duty title in years. It plays like a classic arena shooter which is a nice change to the usual gameplay. The graphics are decent and the single player aspect is pretty enjoyable if that's what you're interested in. I buy COD games solely for the multiplayer portion and in this title, I was not disappointed.

    Honestly, this is coming from a Battlefield 4 player. Advanced Warfare looked absolutely breathtaking with all the fancy DirectX 11 features like Bokeh DOF, Spacial Bloom, Tessellation, NVIDIA exclusive HBAO+ AO, TXAA Anti-Aliasing and Volumetric Rays.
    Supersampling is also an option which I've enjoyed using without much impact on performance.
    Overall, despite the awful plot and tedious linear gameplay on top of its apathetic expositions. Almost forgot to mention the ancient peer to peer multiplayer hosting. AW is a must buy for most seasoned veterans of both franchises.

The campaign is as per usual worthless, but the added mobility in movement in multiplayer has completely refreshed the gunplay experience and if you set aside any prior hatred of the CoD franchise    It's... good! I didn't buy it because, you know, Call of Duty and I'm not an idiot, but I played it on a friends machine and was pleasantly surprised.

The campaign is as per usual worthless, but the added mobility in movement in multiplayer has completely refreshed the gunplay experience and if you set aside any prior hatred of the CoD franchise (which I certainly had, Ghosts was absolutely dreadful and CoD came to represent EVERYTHING bad about AAA titles) and treat it as a standalone title on its' own merits, then you'll have fun here.

    Is it Game of the Year material? Nope. But it was never going to be. What it is is a decent gunner that will provide good old fashioned fun for those who dip in, especially thanks to the wide range of customisation and levelling options and variety of weaponry.    … Expand

    PC performance is okay. There's been a lot of issues with mouse sensitivity problems and frame stutter, each of which have their solutions but can't be entirely eliminated. Hopefully this will be patched soon, the game is only 2 days old as of this review. Unfortunately with a GTX 780 I'm forced to play on low settings with shadows turned off just to sustain the 91fps cap in multiplayer (something which is also very annoying for people with high Hz monitors like me), also bear in mind I'm running in 1440p.

    Multiplayer itself is... well, it's Titanfall. It is so blatantly obvious they've copied Titanfall's approach, which doesn't necessarily bother me too much as it's still enjoyable, but does show a lack of innovation. Multiplayer is satisfying but nothing new. It's still Call of Duty and feels like any other game in the franchise, just with more verticality due to the Exo suits. One big problem I have though is the pace of games. On console the controllers restrict turning movement and is much slower, making games more controlled and less chaotic. On PC people are running around like mad men with their mice sensitivities allowing for much faster reactions compared to console. I find the games are overwhelmingly fast and you don't have much time to think. It's literally an iteration of spawn > 1 kill > die > spawn > 1 kill > die... etc.    … Expand

    Other then not having the promised dedicated servers its overall a massive improvement over the previous Cod titles which highly includes Ghost .As a new game to the series it offers a high amount of new experience to players through the great multiplayer gameplay and interesting storyline.

    - Need more multiplayer maps as i feel like im playing the same map over and over
    - Are there any more ? Give us our dedicated servers
    Well this is recommended to FPS shooters as promised play cod as you never before cause this is true but after when they give us out dedicated servers otherwise newbies to COD will face a disadvantage over veteran players

    Basically what sledgehammer did was take ghosts, improve it significantly, and add a jetpack because why the **** not. This ends up with a mediocre game, that is more enjoyable than ghosts by a longshot. Nothing amazing, but its alright.

Most problems were caused by antivirus that ruined hard drive perfomance. Then I removed it, formatted volume, set pagefiles and game began to work like charm. Campaign is great. I think it's one of finest campaigns in Call Of Duty history. MultiplayerI really liked single player campaign. My nephew said that this game is his favourite game of weekend.     This is kind of a first impression review. I have played a good 3 hours of the game on Steam. The graphics are amazing, the soundtrack is great, and just overall it is visually beautiful. Not to mention the story (from what I've seen) is much stronger than the other Call of Duty games. The guns are very cool as well and do feel like they are from the future. One of them is the off lip-syncing. I don't know if anyone has this issue, but the lips seem to be a split second behind their voices. Not to mention some murky textures and sometimes, the unresponsive controls. Overall, the controls are good, but sometimes when i double-jump, my character doesn't respond to it. I see a great potential for this game as long as they have dedicated servers for the multiplayer. 7/10 (good)… Expand

    The campaign is, well, Call of Duty. Tons of explosions,    I'm a BF person when it comes to online shooters. However, I felt like playing an FPS campaign, just for relaxation. After having skipped a couple of CoD games (my last one was Modern Warfare 3 and it was tiresome) I borrowed CoD:AW and was quite pleased with the result. What follows is a review of the single-player mode only.

    The campaign is, well, Call of Duty. Tons of explosions, overly epic action, "you're a regular soldier, but it so happens that you save the world" sort of stuff. The plot has its moment and takes around 5-6 hours to complete. It's full of cliches and a quasi-patriotic solemnity. It's also annoying at times. The total death toll after one playthrough reached 1700 casualties. This means that 1700 people died shot by the player/protagonist. And I find it difficult to believe that such a killing-machine can be incapacitated or imprisoned by someone and is rendered helpless. I just don't buy it. And this, I mean the heroes weaknesses, are constantly shown "during cut-scenes" to add drama to the action. However, instead of drama, I find it annoying. Take for instance the stealth mission in Detroid. You have a freaking exo-suit that allows you to bend metal and tear off car doors: why can't I punch the first encoutered guard in the face and take away his rifle? I don't know. And this sucks.

    Overall, I found the campaign rather pleasant. So I'd give it a 6,5 and as halves aren't allowed, 7 it is!    … Expand

    It is not a bad game. It is a Call of Duty game, which kind of answers all the questions regarding the gameplay and the mechanics. I am not into COD Multiplayer, but single was quite entertaining and short enough not to bore me.

    This game is a lot of fun. There’s some Crysis in it, some Titanfall, some elements borrowed from Unreal Tournament and Battlefield. Underneath it’s still Call of Duty though, finally modernized in terms of visuals. [13/2014, p.50]
