This game has all that you want in a FPS, it has an unlimited amount of guns. Since the game has a built in plug-in that makes up weapons for you to find anywhere in the mass universe. Pros
+A great combination of RPG and First Person Shooting elements

+Huge world with a lot of exploration
+DLCs have a lot of content and include interesting story elements
+Characters are humorous and well designed
+Sound effects are nicely done and adds more atmosphere to a game that already has a huge atmosphere
    +Main Campaign is really long
    +Co-Op is a great experience
+A lot of missions and quests

    Cons
-Too many Fetch quests and too much walking back and forth
-Storyline is a bit generic mainly the main campaign
-Environment does not change often and is usually bland at times
-Amount of characters in a large world makes the world all too barren and somewhat boring
    -Music is very forgettable
-Difficulty can be at times unforgiving if you go to a certain area before you really have to.
-The game can force you to grind a lot like in a MMORPG.

I need not have worried. Borderlands is one of the best games I’ve played. The visuals are very impressive and suck you right in. This is open-world gaming at it’s best, with many large maps to explore as you complete the numerous missions. There are hundreds of weapons to collect and use, or sell along the way (gathering loot quickly becomes addictive). A wide variety of enemies will take you on as you progress up the levels. The combat is varied and the AI is good if not exceptional. Although there’s little story to speak of there’s enough humour to just about make up for this. It’s possible that some might find the missions a tad repetitive but I was so engrossed in the game that I didn’t tire of them and completed every one, including the 3 DLCs available. As for multi-player, well co-op is great fun but best played with people who you can rely on to share the loot.

This game. It's everything. Heck, it's the closest to a true 10 I have ever played.

The game combines RPG elements with the fast-paced action of an FPS, perfectly. The gameplay is just about flawless. It does have a slight lack of balance, I was easily able to shotgun through everything, but not so much with a sniper rifle, but I guess that's because shotguns usually deal ridiculous

The story was good, the characters were fantasticly insane. Only one big problem, the story doesn't change playthrough 2. That made me angry.

The controls are very suitable for the game, which is one of the main things you are looking for in a video game. I have been playing this game over and over for years it is that good, SO much replay value, so you will never get bored of it! If you want to have a blast from the past, play this!

    Kudos Gearbox Software, kudos!

The "Borderlands: Game of the Year Enhanced Edition" is an impressive remaster that enhances the game's visuals and introduces some nifty additions. With all the DLCs bundled together, it's the perfect excuse to dive back into the game and relive the adventure with a fresh perspective.

The improvements in graphics are immediately noticeable, and I couldn't help but appreciate the upgraded details, such as Mordecai's skill animation. The developers put in the effort to make characters appear more like those from Borderlands 2, and I must say, it's a welcomed change that I prefer.

The core gameplay remains unchanged, as expected in a remaster rather than a full remake. However, it's nice to have the option to tweak the FOV in the settings. In the original game, we had to resort to modding and frequent button pressing to adjust it, which was somewhat bothersome. This is a small but significant addition that enhances gameplay comfort.

One standout feature of the remaster is the ability to import characters from the original game, accompanied by the achievements. This is a fantastic addition for returning players like me, as it allows us to continue our progress and explore new challenges.

Comparing the original to the remaster, I'd undoubtedly pick the latter. The enhancements in visuals, improved options, and inclusion of all DLCs make it a superior choice. Moreover, it's worth mentioning that the remaster is more affordable than the original used to be, making it a compelling deal for both new and returning players.

In conclusion, the "Borderlands: Game of the Year Enhanced Edition" is a commendable remaster that surpasses the original in several aspects. It provides an opportunity to relive the excitement of the game with improved visuals and features. If you've played the original before, don't hesitate to come back for a satisfying return to Pandora. And for newcomers, there's no reason to opt for the original when the remaster offers more bang for your buck. So, gear up, Vault Hunters, and embark on this unforgettable journey—it's an experience that's worth every penny!

The playable character Siren seems to be a favorite among players, thanks to her support perks (shield bonus and health recovery above all), making her practically invincible if used correctly.

However, some flaws in the game may leave a sense of incompleteness. The easy availability of money makes death and resurrection practically without financial consequences, while weapon rotation can become monotonous after a certain point.

Overall, Borderlands 1 is an engaging game with an original plot and interesting characters. However, the flaws mentioned at the end may leave a sense of incompleteness.

    Sensational!
The story is very funny and despite not getting anywhere it involves you.
DLCs are great too, with even cooler missions than the main campaign.
Very fun to play online. For those who want to start in the series, it's worth it!
