    Unlike most of these negative reviewers, I've actually played the game. It's still Borderlands so if you hated the previous game you won't like this. If you did, it's awesome. There are lots of great improvements, skilltrees are more elaborate, more varied skills... Great new weapon effects and funky shields and grenades, different vehicles that are moddable, great quality of lifeUnlike most of these negative reviewers, I've actually played the game. There are some minor rough edges still like the map being a bit annoying to control (please zoom out further by default) and it is definitely a heavier game. I run it at low on qhd on a 1060 6 gb to get around 70-80 fps, but low still looks good, I honestly don't see that much difference so I like the better framerate. I'm sure we'll get some patches to improve it.
    Overall really enjoying the game. Don't listen to the epic/randy hate crew, just get it and come blow stuff up.    … Expand

    Easily the best FPS of 2019 so far. Runs smoothly on my 1080ti at 1440p. Funny characters, excellent gun play, good cut scenes, multiplayer options, and unlimited grind potential. Not sure what else you can ask for for $60... Great job Gearbox and thank you!

    I am not afraid to admit it . I am sucker for Borderlands franchise and Borderlands 3 does not disappoints. If you like previous BL games you will like BL3 because the game is not huge departure from the past 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'.It is. You will feel right at home when you start the game for the first time. Similar graphics and yet nicely upgraded. Similar weapon inventoryI am not afraid to admit it . Everything in BL3 is upgraded from previous games.I have only played the game for few hours but I know i will spend countless hours exploring BL3. I like the game humor, new characters, cool weapons and colorful graphics. I just like this game a lot. I want more of Borderlands and this game gives me just that. More Borderlands without re-inventing the wheel.

    Another thing that needs to be mentioned is that there are no micro translations in this game (aside from season pass). What you see is what you get and this is awesome. I really do appreciate that and I am happy to support developer and publisher that does not treat us games like ATM machine.

    I do not own discrete video card and I play this game on AMD Ryzen 3400G with Vega 11 integrated graphics . the game runs very well all considered. I bought the game right after patch was released improving game performance. There are many visual settings to play with and the game looks great even on low settings. My Ryzen 3400g runs BL3 in mid 40FPSs at @1080p with low settings and resolution scale set @75%. I get PS4 and Xbox One S type experience with $150 APU from AMD. Microsoft Xbox controller has full support out of the box.

    Lastly i want to address negative ratings on Metacritics. Developers deserve to keep more profits and Epic competition is good for PC gaming industry. You might not like that the game is exclusive to Epic but eventually this game will come to Steam. I buy games both from Steam and Epic. I love Borderlands and I want to support people who worked tirelessly over last few years to bring us this AAA title. Consider that this game has no micro-transactions. Just for that one fact this game deserves your support even if you do not agree with exclusive games.

    So just go pick up the game and lose yourself in Pandora for many months to come.    … Expand

It's hard to believe a game runs this well out of the box.. it takes EA / Ubisoft several months (and then some) to get a release running like this :P Personally I never dropped below 60fps on Ultra at 1440p with my RTX 2070.     Personally I never dropped below 60fps on Ultra at 1440p with my RTX 2070.

    In terms of gameplay I wasn't sure what to expect but I would most liken it to 'Destiny', in terms of other games that I have played personally. Explore, find secrets and treasure, kill waves of enemies, smash the bullet-sponge boss (I don't mean this in a bad way - attack patterns and 'weak points' also play a big part) and collect the phattest loot!

    Visually the game is one of the best looking titles out there. The cel-shaded art style is brought to life by incredible lighting and fog effects, etc. Everything looks crisp and colours simply pop. Fantastic.

    The audio is right up there too. Incredible soundtrack (some licenced tracks too), atmospheric ambience and great 3D positioning. Not once did I feel a sound came from somewhere it shouldn't have.

    Fans of the series have probably picked up this game regardless, but for those who haven't looked at the Borderlands series before, there's no better time to jump straight in :)    … Expand

    This game is Borderlands through and through. It's simple math, if you like the past Borderlands games then you will like this one.

    That said the game play is MUCH improved. Gun play is SO much better and more impactful. The addition of sliding and climbing is very cool and the sheer variety of guns is amazing. From a performance angle I'm dubious of many of the complaints. My PC    This game is Borderlands through and through.     Game is awesome. I haven't had one technical issue on PC and i'm playing it in 4k and getting 60fps on a 1080ti. Don't listen to the bad reviews the game is a blast. If you loved BL2 you'll love BL3.

    The truth? If you're a Borderlands fan you can expect more of what you love with even more variety when it comes to characters builds and loot.     My personal performance experience? Installed fine, playing fine, never crashed, it's a newer game so it's a bit more demanding and frames will drop in dense areas with open views. Optimization isn't perfect at the moment, especially when it comes to using scopes, but it absolutely 100% isn't game breaking in any way. Lower a few settings for now and just wait for an update if you have fps issues.    … Expand

    Good old BL but with more action, faster pace, louder explosions, better graphics and of course more loot! What else can expect a BL/looter-shooter fan?!

    Simply enjoy this awesome game!

    It's Borderlands, it's fun, better with friends, funny, jokes that make you giggle and feels good to progress and get better gear.

    And a very good thing:
    No microtransactions! (despite what the bombs are trying to say...)

    It's worth it!

    For 7 years i have waited. Been looking farward to a better looking and better game than borderlands 2 which i thought was top notch. THIS GAME IS JUST THAT. It has great graphics while still holding the borderlands genere pure. It has new and exiting guns. You have to test em all out to see what is good and what is fun to play with.     1070 Ti run normal frames. 9/10 cos the stupid, idiotic,GOD I HATE EGS. Story is awesome.

    A huge step up from the previous games of the series that I've put over 200 hours into. Gunplay is like never before, making each weapon feel weighty and real, reminding more of Bulletstorm than Borderlands - and that's a plus. The locations are really varied and the player is never forced to spend many hours on one.     i don't know why people review this game as bad, it's the same old mechanichs from the other presentations, if you are a fan of borderlands franchise this game is for you, the same experience and the same mature languaje, i really enjoy this game and if you play it with a friend is more fun. ill give 10/10 because make his job, very few bugs and lots of blood.

    Awesome game, even though i have to play in DX11 its ok not a big deal. i love fl4k, he is so fun to play. it bring me back to BL1 i have been missing this. cant wait for my friend to get it so we can play together.

    El juego es tremendamente bueno, la historia, gráficos, animaciones, ok, esta bien no es perfecto, como NINGUN juego en su lanzamiento lo fue, tiene bugs, algunos errores, ciertos problemas de optimización, pero claro esta que se está maximizando a tope por el tema que no salio ahora en steam, y por eso tienes a mucha gente creándose cuentas para tirar leña al juego, pues yo creo que noEl juego es tremendamente bueno, la historia, gráficos, animaciones, ok, esta bien no es perfecto, como NINGUN juego en su lanzamiento lo fue, tiene bugs, algunos errores, ciertos problemas de optimización, pero claro esta que se está maximizando a tope por el tema que no salio ahora en steam, y por eso tienes a mucha gente creándose cuentas para tirar leña al juego, pues yo creo que no le falta mucho por hacerle, corregir algunos problemas en ciertas áreas, venga cosa muy ligera, yo lo he terminado ya unas 3 veces y voy por la 4ta, no me he arrepentido de comprarlo en ningún momento, el tiempo de carga es más corto que otros, no es algo exagerado pero si creo que podrían mejorarlo, en mi opinión este juego tiene para horas y horas con amigos, solo con gente random, y lo mejor los haters están fuera posteando con 0, esta muy critico que alguien que no ha jugado pueda calificar un juego, pero bueno, cada quien puede escribir lo que sea, llevo alrededor de 50 horas o más jugadas, mayor problema que algunos errores en ciertas areas y un crash no he tenido y creo que tras parchen esto el juego ira a mejor, ignoren comentarios con un score nulo, si lo hubieran jugado como muy malo pondrían 4 o 5 en el peor de los casos, pero como solo es odio pues es lo que es.

    Borderlands 3 is a great game they made shooting even more fun than Bl2 the story line is good and the guns and shooting is the best part if you like borderlands you'll love this

    Топовая история, много новых механик, куча контента, разнообразные квесты. Только оптимизация подкачала и эксклюзивность EGS, так как отсутствуют ачивки.

    This is an amazing addition to the franchise, some people seem to be having tech issues but I can say I have had none. Worth every penny.

    Very fun game. Playing it single player and having a great time so far. Lots of explosions and guns with tons of monsters and amazing graphics on PC. Also, the humor is great and it's a really funny game. The game is really colorful and full of life.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. runs great on my $1000 , 4 year old computer. of course, all games require careful set up with my old cheap computer. Borderlands 3 is no different. I run it on medium or high settings on everything except volumetric fog. It has crashed twice in 40 hours of game play. The game is great fun and so far Tyreen Calypso is a good antagonist.… Expand

    As a former WWF Women's Champion I can tell you a thing or two about combat. The combat in this game is great. Interesting story... interesting characters. I've played for 30 hours now and hte fun just keeps on coming. Split-screen on the original XBOX1 that came out 5 years ago is pretty laggy. Great game.

    For me, this game equals the hype! Gearbox did an awesome job! I love the fighting mechanics, the characters and the story line. My PC is 6 years old and runs the game smoothly! I'd love to see it run on ULTRA when I update my graphics card! but for now, I'm having a Lot of fun with my old junker of a PC. I'm getting around 50 FPS, zero lag when playing with my friends online. The onlyFor me, this game equals the hype! Gearbox did an awesome job! I love the fighting mechanics, the characters and the story line. My PC is 6 years old and runs the game smoothly!     Gearbox has a problem: the fantastic Borderlands 2 is too good to be beaten. But in the case of Borderlands 3, it is still more than a worthy successor. The filmmakers brought many pop-cultural references, maybe pushing too hard on how they want to be “modern”, but otherwise it's a great game again. [Issue#298]

    Borderlands 3 offers a generous experience, with colourful characters, neat gameplay and a charming universe. Its formula, very close to that of the previous episodes does not revolutionize the show but its small new features bring a little freshness and the scenario makes us want to go to the end of the adventure. Its dynamism and nervousness make it a choice piece for adrenaline-ready FPS lovers and license fans.

    The fun, humorous storyline, some great dialogue and theatrical accents of the diverse characters, beautifully varied locations and the same great gunplay that Borderlands is renowned for, means that Borderlands 3 becomes another must have title in the series.
