    This one took me by surprise. I bought it on recommendation and felt a little disappointed when I played level 1. It had a good feeling but itThis one took me by surprise. I bought it on recommendation and felt a little disappointed when I played level 1. It had a good feeling but it was just shooting an asteroid. Sure, I like the game-model but I've seen it before and I thought it was quite boring. However, I played on and next level was all the same, except there was more asteroids. It had good feeling, great controls and run very smoothly, but I was still underwhelmed. But I couldn't stop playing and I've heard, and seen in the official trailer, that this game had more to show. And by level six I was sold. I love the fact that the game starts very simple and rapidly changes into a totally new and innovative game. It is extremely rewarding but very hard, in fact I doubt that we'll ever be able to complete the game.

    The best thing is that my 11 years old daughter and my 18 years old son and me (45) enjoy this game, we play it together and have a blast. Highly recommended.    … Expand

Let me begin this review by saying that I'm quite biased cause I love top-down-shooters. Unfortunately it's been impossible to find good games in the genre the last decade. But that has come to an end now?

    Hell YEAH. Rose-Marie, the main developer, has really nailed what a game should be about. The gameplay is nothing less than fantastic. You have got to pass the first five levels before the game starts showing it's full glory. Scrolling levels, bosses, great level up system.

    It's really challenging, and I mean REALLY. But in a good way where you always feel that the level is possible to complete and you develop more and better strategies to cope with different levels.

    I truly love this game and think it even might be the game of the year. It's difficult to compare against FPS-games like doom, or MOBAS like dota2 but in this genre it's nr 1. I'm honestly impressed and surprised. If you don't like games which need skill and precision - stay away. If you do - buy it!    … Expand

The game evolves and keeps you wanting to come back and play over and over again. There is something absurdly satisfying with blasting rocks in space, and if you like top-down-shooters this is for sure the best game ever made. It's challenging ...but You have the feeling that every level is possible to complete so it never gets stupid hard even though I must say it is extremely hard, but imo only in a good way.

    I must complement the creator, Rose-Marie, for the genius design of letting each level slowly unravel new things and after level 10 you are so hooked you just can't stop playing. It's nothing less of a masterpiece and absolutely worth a buy. I simply love it, but I also loved Super Meat Boy and Dark Souls and Metroid and other hard (but very good games).

    The game got a dark sense of humor. The graphics are quite unique, retro but original and do the job very well . The controls are superb.

    If you don't like top-down-shooter and challenging games it might not be for you, but if you do - this is a no-brainer. Jackpot!    … Expand

    It is brutally difficult but very rewarding once you get the hang of it. Anyone who has even remotely enjoyed an arcade game or well made PC video game like Super Meat Boy or Hotline Miami in the past should buy this game immediately. One of my favorite games of all time.
    Incredible gameplay, addictive, super fun bosses, very fun to chase level records and compete against friends.

    Best top-down shooter ever made.
