    OH MY GOD. This game is so full of trash i don´t know anymore what Battlefield has become.
    I purchased the game a few days ago and played multiplayer but after excluding 5 game modes i can only see 6 active servers. So game is dead for at least half of the game modes and they still sell it.
    The servers are infested with cheaters. The game itself is awful & boring. The aiming feels    OH MY GOD. This game is so full of trash i don´t know anymore what Battlefield has become.
    I purchased the game a few days ago and played multiplayer but after excluding 5 game modes i can only see 6 active servers. So game is dead for at least half of the game modes and they still sell it.
    The servers are infested with cheaters.
    The game itself is awful & boring. The aiming feels wrong. The hit registration is a joke. People are jumping and zipping across the battlefield like they are about to escape bullets.
    Gameplay is way too fast to be a battlefield.
    And then the singleplayers campaign. Holy cow. It is full of bugs even afters years. I had to restart some missions multiple times to unstuck myself or NPCs.
    No No No. Then i rage quit and uninstalled the game.
    The last amazing battlefield was Battlefield Bad Company 2 & Battiefield 2142 was refreshing but both were too successful so they never did a Sequel. BF 3 trash, BF 4 trash, BF 5 trash.
    The only good thing is that i got a refund even after like 10 hours playing.    … Expand

    8. Vehicles must be more fun and with less realism
    9. Hardcore at launch.... or made 1mode same as BF2(no kill cams no health regenarate etc)
    10.Hardcore mode same as BF4
    11. Create more gadgets and guns like in bf4 for the game(in 1 day i can suggest you a ton of them even in ww2 era.... believe me)
    12. Make squad bigger and not smaller....who the hell had the idea of 4 squad members??

    14. You must be able to explore on empty CQ map
    15. You must be able to change team at the begining of a round

    An Excellent skiing simulator. NO joke, Dice/EA should just give up Battlefield and make a skiing simulator. Those few minutes in the single player campaign while skiing was just so much fun. It should be in the multiplayer too! Too bad it lasted only a few minutes, definitely not worth the price, but if you got this game through Origin Vault for free, just go play that single playerAn Excellent skiing simulator.     Same BF gameplay since BF3, epic graphics @ Nvidia GF RTX but I give it a score of no more than four out of ten for all that marxist BS they served in terms of the story. One simply does not mess with the essence and facts of WW2. They even included Marx portraits ingame. The DICE developers should get a serious treatment before its too late for them.

    Never waste money again on EA games, BattleField V is the worst game I have ever played, full of cheaters and kids with one-shot kills, don't waste your money, I am done with EA.

    There are much worse games on the market at the moment, but this is just more of the same. It's a battlefield asset flip, no variety or challenges. If this is the first shooter you have ever played, you will enjoy it, but if you have played the other battlefield games, theres nothing new here.

    Been a battlefield fan for a loong time, played all battlefield games, 100+ level in BF1, so, coming from a fanboy my advice is: do yourself a favor an buy COD BO4, this game sucks balls big time!!!

    Battlefield 5 will be my second game I'm not going to buy(1st one was hardline). I hope that BF6 will be a better game but unfortunately Battlefield lost it's way.

    Crap! I remember 4 and 1 part. The plot, the gameplay, everything is better than the fifth part. Here is my advice. To make a sequel to 4 part and that it should not be as **** as part 5!

    Played on highest end PC in September 2020 and it still has horrible bugs. cutscenes jump oddly, I get stuck in maps often, weird bugs of NOCS and this is just the campaign!!! Throw in the new shiny BLM load screen and meh. I really wanted to like this game but it’s a hot mess with terrible QC

    There are only two proper ways to play this game:
    1) try it with Origin Basic Access (yes they moved it there after 6 months of release...lol), it will be 7 days free trial, or like 4,99$/m
    2) buy it on really HUGE sale, like 70-80% one, and when it's polished and done

    Otherwise this game is just not worth it, would recommend BF4/BF1 every single time over this one.    … Expand

Multiplayer is what I imagine it would be like to fall down all stairs in the Eiffeltower only to have the pleasure of doing it again because you died at random points down the tower.     There are only 8 single player missions, that have the depth of a game of checkers. I had to download a program to fix the insane stuttering and lag in single player. I would tell you about the 4 different stories but they were so shallow i don't remember them. Multiplayer is the worst experience I've ever had trying to play an FPS online.     Played all the Battlefield games up to date, but had to unninstall this one after 2 days.
    I must say, this game is:

    Faction based guns, old school weapons, vehicles that can't be taken on very easily by foot soldiers. Recycled maps and no real anti-cheat system equal another epic EA game failure. EA has been making failure Battlefield games for about 4 years now. Time to realize you are losing your core players... Will not be risking my $$ on the next one until its a bargain price, canceled Origin Access too.

    There is no need to buy. F**KING DICE abandoned the players. No chapter 7, no new maps, no CCCP ARMY, no US ARMY in EUROPIAN FRONT etc. Enlisted is much more better than F**KING BFV.

Sound is all about popcorn popping (bullets) and bigfoot's thumpings (explosions), both randomly, as you don't see what sounds came from what. Visual effects include blank Matrix errors (smoke grenades), Unravel-ish physics and plastic splinterings. UI and color palette are neon whichI just bought this game for $15. Not even at that price, I can say it's worth. This game is total trash. Sound is all about popcorn popping (bullets) and bigfoot's thumpings (explosions), both randomly, as you don't see what sounds came from what. Promised features remain mostly undelivered or underwhelming.     This game is bad. After nearly a year and a half, it still has game breaking bugs and a drip feed of content. DICE has clearly lost their way, and I don't think EA is all to blame - There are game play decisions that simply don't make sense. BF as we knew it is completely dead. This is a mix up of the worst of BF and COD in one package.

There's not even a report button in the game! The only other title where I saw more hackers than on this Battlefield was GTA V.

    It should be noted though that the negative scores (2.9 average as of November 2021) are representative of the state of the game upon release, where the initial maps were quite bad (as in different from previous WWII games) and some people were angry because there were women in game (go figure). The current state of the game is pretty much on the same level as Battlefield 1 which has a 7.1 average user score.    … Expand

    To be fair the game is OK. Lots of bugs still, but the game works fairly well.
    EA just doesn't do anything about cheaters so the multiplayer games tend to have one team winning because ´few cheaters end up with KD's of 50/1 and people leave.

    DO NOT BUY ANY EA BATTLEFIELD GAMES

    It is not for the feminist issue, the game still feels like a beta after a year of release. (I played the alpha to) It has no auto - balance and many times you enter a completely empty server.

    I pre buy a $90 game for every dlc and some bonus objects. They add "Elite Skins" and the cheapest is $5.

    BF5 has to easily be the most boring game I have ever played in my life. The multiplayer has absolutely no depth to it. Every single match is 100% exactly the same as the last one. Nothing changes. Well, the map does, but the map is pretty much irrelevant since the maps pretty much only differ in what they look like. The maps are essentially palette-swaps. After 10 minutes of gameplay, you have experienced 100% of what this game has to offer. It is just extremely bare-boned.

    There are 20938423094820948209384092348092348209348029842390 other games like this out there that do what this game does but much much much better. Even FPSs made in the 90s have more depth to them then this abomination. There are P2W mobile games out there with more depth.
    I was so bored it actually felt like my ability for my brain to brain was leaving. I was playing with friends or I would have quit after the aforementioned 10 minutes. I resorted to just driving around in a car and trying to run people over because the actual gun-shooting gameplay in this is severely boring. I actually had fun doing that, but of course the game is based around the boring gunplay so I obviously wasn't effective at all.

    It also has the same stupid level-up system that has infected so many FPSs recently. It's stupid. You are useless for the first part of your multiplayer experience until you grind a lot. That's ungodly awfully boring and amazingly stupid gameplay design. It was a stupid mechanic when Call of Duty first did it, and it is stupid now. Game devs need to make that mechanic a forgotten relic of the past and quickly.

    I eventually just opened manga on my other monitor and read it to keep from falling asleep while playing this with friends. It was that boring. I literally had more fun staying dead and just watching my friends play than I did trying to play it myself. Honestly, when I log into Discord to play with them and see that they are playing this game, I might just log right out. This game is THAT boring.

    In summary, I got this game for free yet I still feel like I spent too much on it. I'd pay maybe $5 for it because that feels like the amount of depth present in this game.

The game also uses extremely generic names for weapons and makes you want to do nothing more than uninstall...

    Got it just to test raytracing on RTX 2060. It's lagging. I couldn't even run without sudden stutters some times. Ok. Turned off raytracing. Fps still drops sometimes. Pretty unplayable. Do not recommend to anyone for every single reason.

Every week it forces you to install an update of around 40 Gigs and you can't skip it. You can't play the version you have.     After 4 years on release, i played this game. Is it good as BF3/4/1? Of course not. But atleast its playable.

    Pacific maps are way better than base maps. I just realized all the harsh treatment this game got on release is right.

    I prefer BF1 over BF5 for this generation.

    The single player campaign does not save progress (the game is already a year). A ton of bugs. Constantly jumps TTK. Update broke the interface and had to download the game again. The promised mechanics never appeared. Already introduced mechanics are absolutely unnecessary (for example the construction of barricades). Servers lose connections all the time. Should I continue?

    No auto-balance and it is not block base-rape and no private server no anti-cheat. BFV has a lot of problem. BF1 had some special animation and event for example Zeppelin or train. They were changing atmosphere of the game or flamethrower etc. But BfV has not special thing. Aaand where are the **** ribbons? But graphics are so good and gameplay very well. Next bf must be modern war.

    With patch 5.2 I can no longer recommend this game. They ignored the userbase and now the game is horrible. They did the same thing last year around the same time for the attempted holiday sales. Didn't work then. Wont work now and the game is unplayable.

    Eu particularmente estou voltando do "Battlefield V" para o "Battlefield 1". E (mesmo que uns não gostem deles) eu citarei os motivos:

    Motivo 1 - Battlefield 5 com aviões dominantes: Dois times com aviões um ignorando o outro e usando o veículo com um único objetivo, o de tacar bomba na cabeça dos pelotões. Tem piloto saindo de rodada com 100-0 ou 150-0 em alguns mapas que permitem    Eu particularmente estou voltando do "Battlefield V" para o "Battlefield 1". E (mesmo que uns não gostem deles) eu citarei os motivos:

    Motivo 1 - Battlefield 5 com aviões dominantes: Dois times com aviões um ignorando o outro e usando o veículo com um único objetivo, o de tacar bomba na cabeça dos pelotões. Tem piloto saindo de rodada com 100-0 ou 150-0 em alguns mapas que permitem aviões bombardeiros. As "anti-aéreas" nem fazem cócegas neles e tem limite de distância, sendo que o avião pode facilmente se recuperar e se consertar no ar! Sem falar os clãs que estão marcando os pelotões com o avião, sinalizadores ficam mais altos e dificilmente são destruídos!

    Motivo 2 - O jogo tá lotado de trapaceiros, pessoas utilizando programinhas para facilitar o jogo. E são esses trapaceiros com "k/d" altos que são os mais cobiçados e se engajam para carregar outros jogadores em clãs. Infelizmente de cada 10 clãs eu reconheci uns 9 tem pelo menos 2-3 cara jogando com trapaça lá, ou mais! (Para seu time conseguir algum sucesso, é preciso pelo menos uns 10-20 jogadores "rushando" de uma vez o mapa todo e tomando todas as bandeiras. Pois nenhum trapaceiro nunca vai querer bater de frente com "5 ou mais" jogadores, e nem vai!

    Motivo 3 - Pontuação pelo conceituadíssimo "Open critic": Battlefield 1 (96%) / Battlefield V (74%).

    Motivo 4 - Estou ainda esperando uma atualização com a "FEB" e sua notável luta na "batalha de Monte Castello". O famoso "Dia D" americano na Normandia. E não esse compilado na ilha japonesa, a "batalha de Iwo Jima" (dos EUA contra o Japão.). Seria mais bonito se focassem nas batalhas principais, "Pearl Harbour" (poderia ter sido colocado no "modo história", no jogo.). Cadê a participação da Rússia também na guerra? Eles não poderiam inventar uma guerra entre Grã Bretanha e Alemanha com barcos, aviões e submarinos? Poderia! São tantas coisas que estão deixadas de lado para se criar um jogo sobre a famosa 2ª Guerra mundial.

    Motivo 5 - Esse pessoal (haters) que ficam ofendidinhos com tudo que postamos no fórum e vivem imitando gato roco, só "mimimi". Esses que vivem tomando toddynho dentro de clazinhos abarrotados de menininhos valentinhos e não fazem nada na vida, papai paga até mensalidade da escola e fala de boca cheia que é bom jogador. Eu até concordo! No caso daqueles que despendem o dia todo da vida sem fazer nenhuma coisa além de jogar o mesmo jogo o dia inteiro. (Prefiro bloquear e sequer leio a mensagem desse pessoal, sendo aqui no fórum ou até mesmo dentro do jogo.)

    Bom, enquanto sou eu que pago as minhas contas e não ofendi ninguém de tudo o que disse aqui no fórum além das crianças que se sentiram ofendidinhas porque fazem coisa errada no jogo só tenho uma coisa para dizer: Segundo o site PEGI (Pan European Game Information), o jogo "Battlefield V" é recomendado por nada menos que pessoas com 16 anos ou mais.

    Other bugs: I press I want to play a game of Grand Operations. Many times you get dropped into A) Wrong game mode B) Match almost over.

    2) Change of core mechanichs
    They changed so many core mechanichs in the game to please 'the masses' while ruining the experience for many seasoned Battlefield fans.

    Why did they remove 3D spotting? Great mechanic that I have really liked since Bad Company 2.

    Oh man, I could go on. On the positive side many great looking maps with dynamic weather and "epic feeling" when you storm enemtey positions followed by tanks and planes. But experience is quickly ruined by all the negatives (at least from a seasoned BF games POV)

    3) Oh and did I mention cheaters on many servers in PC? Encounter a few situations during the week where people are obviously using aimbot. Why is there no !voteban systems implemented?
    Why not innovate (in regard to the BF series at least) and introduce a killcam?

I v played 4 maos in multiplayer and turned that **** off forever. My team could t even go out of spawn as an attacker. Regret buying this **** So much. Even ****ty cod MW is better than this.

Now that I've played it extensively i truly feel betrayed by DICE. Now i wanted to adress some of my opinions on this game:

    - Yes, DICE wanted the game to feel realistic and in some ways, it does. Graphics and Sounds are amazing, as they usually are in this saga, but the inclusion of Women as front soldiers and guns that never actually made it to the front kinda defeats the point. On top of that, the fact that soviets are not included in the game is straight out outrageous, considering they are the ones who actually won the war, not the americans, nor the british.
    - The Game is crippled with bugs, from graphics to terrains, and especially matchmaking. The quick play button gives you about 50% chance of joining a half empty game, and there is almost no map or game mode diversity on most servers. Even then matches are very often completely unbalanced and just end up frustrating players who end up leaving.
    - The GUI is one of the worst I've ever seen. For real. The "Play" menu is confusing, the "company" (where you equip) and "armory" (your inventory) are horrible and should be fused, the same goes for the "Chapter Rewards" and the "Asignments", as both are missions that gives you rewards.
    - Talking about rewards, the "Chapters" system is unfair, pay-to-win (even tho the game costs 40€ for the standard version) and unlocking any decent skin or gun demand an insane amount of dedication. More insane is the fact that most decent guns where part of chapters, so if you didn't play during that time, well you gotta pay or you ain't getting it.
    - The accessories are basically skins, and the sights are unlocked from the beginning (which is stupid), and the only real customization is the specializations which are few and don't give the player any sense of progress. Not even talking about the absence of a free camera to look at your gun.
    - The vehicles are few, so almost never available, overpowered and the infantry has almost no way of fighting them.
    - The classes that worked amazingly in BF3 and BF4 (Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon) are now pointless kits for you to choose between SMGs, Semi Rifles, Machine Guns/Shotguns or Bolt Action Rifles and give absolutely no incentive on Teamwork or cooperation. Good luck getting healed by the occasional helpful medic.

    In conclusion the game dynamics are not bad, even tho it feels more of a big map CoD rather than a true Battlefield, but the game is completely let down by a shady EA monetization system, truly horrible game design and a complete lack of will by DICE to fix the issues and include the content that should have been there since the beginning. As a casual run&shoot game, i'm not saying you can't have fun, but as a 2018 triple-A, serious shooter this is simply unacceptable. As a long time Battlefield fan i cannot recommend anyone to buy this game, and as long as DICE and EA keep pulling out this kind of garbage i do not see why anyone should support them.    … Expand

    garbage game. you get killed in less than 1 second. wait 15 seconds to respawn. respawn again and get killed in 1 second. wish I could refund this game but I cant cos its not steam based.

    don't buy this game, and any other EA game.

    1.5 years of beta-testing. still no optimization (on gtx970 and i7 6700 cant rich 60fps on low settings 1080p). Still no fractions (no Allies of World War II). No maps (only unknown places like a "some bridge", "some mountain", and Metro + IwoJima + Wake Islands). No balance.
    And now we finding it "out of support this summer". I need refund.

    Rubbish. Same game. Weapons hit like wet noodles. No real customization. It's a shame really because it could have been good but the multiplayer is absolutely garbage. It's basically a rehash of Battlefield 1 but if you're wanting some customization, don't expect it. Don't buy the game. if you've got Origin access and fancy a go, go for it, but otherwise save your money

    I could write a very long text about my thoughts and feelings about the problems in/with the game. Long story short: this is the least enjoyable, most frustrating, most unbalanced, most painful-to-play multiplayer game with the worst singleplayer I have ever bought and played. I will not buy any Battlefield/Dice game ever again. I feel angry and scammed.

    When you but a game for 60 bucks you expect it to work. battlefield 5 has only given me headaches every time I play I have to redo the start mission then I have a 50-50 chance of the game connecting to the servers. when it can't connect I get no information on why just says it can't.     The movement is greate and you can have alot of fun but Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 is way better.
    The last tiger is very good but the Norway one is the most disrespectful thing ever.

    Die Ballance zwischen den Klassen ist auch ein Witz... Der Assault kann jetzt gefühlt alles... Hat eine sehr starke Assaultrifle, Panzerfaust, Spregnstoff, Granatwerfer....
    Der Medic, tja der hat eine Maschienen pistole, muss reichen... Dafür kann jetzt jedes Squadmember auch Recieven, wen auch nicht so schnell.
    Support und Engineur hat man jetzt zusammen geworfen... Dafür haben die keinen Panzerfaust mehr..
    Und Sniper, tja der kann nur noch Snipern und das nur richtig mit zwei Gewehren die auch mit nur einem Schuss in den Kopf töten.
    Wer hat sich den diesen Mist ausgedacht????
    Balance zwischen den Waffen, gibt es auch nicht.... Jede klassen hat zwei Waffen die etwas taugen... das war es...

    Und es gibt kein Hardcore mehr, kein Friendlyfire, dafür noob Map, noobspot, noob weapon damage, noob weapon spraying Style.... Pfuideifel...

    Sprayen ist besser als geziehlte chüsse.... Es ist kommt nicht einmal an BF4 ran. Und das hat sehr generft wegen seinen Lootboxen und den kleinen Pay2Win/Pay2Shortcut mechaniken.... Hier gibts das nicht mehr, dafür fehlt es wirklich an fast allem...

    Bugs, ach ja, regelmäsig feststecken tut man auch noch, oder es gibt unsichtbare Wände die einen die Schüsse wegnehmen....

    It would even be a good game if it had not been so embarrassingly trying to lie to the history of the Second World War. The number of women on the WWII front is estimated at less than 1%, the negroes were also a small percentage, but the game indoctrinates the player that these groups played a significant role in this war :D EA did not learn anything from Battlefield I.     It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

    A great World War II shooter that will grow and improve. Do not buy the game because of its singleplayer, but if you consider the campaign a bonus to the multiplayer, you will be satisfied. [Issue#291]
