    Battlefield 5 is my new Battlefield 3! Forget Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1! BF5 looks amazing, the gunplay is better and every match is exciting. All updates in the future are FREE. I recommend Battlefield 5 to Battlefield fans.

    A very good Battlefield game at its core. Huge improvements over BF1. Random bullet deviation gone, Fortification system, Squad revives etc. are all playing weirdly well into each other and create a very nice Multiplayer experience. Sure there are a few bugs on release, but they will get ironed out and with new content it could very well be a 10/10. But 9/10 for now for me.

    I don't know why people are complaining about micro transactions here, there's no way to currently put more money into the game and DICE has said when they do you will only be able to purchase cosmetics that you can already buy with in-game currency. The game is pretty good, there are spots that aren't as polished as they should be but that's been the case with every Battlefield title.     First and foremost a multiplayer game. So I haven't bothered with the single player yet. The multiplayer maps are spectacular. Balance is pretty good. Gameplay aimed at team/squad-play, which is what I want in a Battlefield. This is not a CoD run&gun. Few glitches/bugs here and there, but it's inevitable in such a big game. I love it.

    Looks like the best battlefield game ever, played allrdy about 50+ hours, and still want to play more. Last BF wich i want to play was BF3, this one is much better

    Я не знаю, что за люди которые пишут негативные отзывы. Батла 5 очень даже неплохой продукт. Да он чем то схож с бф1, но это ведь конвейер. Без совесткого союза очень как то играть неправильно.

    The gunplay has been improved upon BF1, graphics are still gorgeous, sound design is A+,Singleplayer is whack, but who plays the SP anyways. Don't listen to Hurensöhne talking about SJWs ruining the game, as what the soldiers genitals are is in no way important to gameplay.

    Combat is solid, graphics are beautiful, game mechanics are clean and clear, you will like this game if you like any of the previous battlefield titles multiplayer, including the modern day setting games.

    Squad play is now a necessity for a team to succeed, you can no longer go full on solo Rambo around the map like in the previous titles, it requires more skill, tactics and coordination to out do your opponents. A squad that plays well allows a squad leader to request more vehicles, a supply drop or if the squad achieves enough points the deadly V1 Rocket!

    The addition of building is a welcome one, never thought about it before but it works so well and cleanly allowing you to block off entrances and better protect objectives.

    The single player is short, shows off how impressive this game looks and is a good introduction for players into the battlefield series. completing it and earning the collectibles earns you skins for your multiplayer weapons. Sadly it is not as historically accurate as it should be and is a lot more fantasized like with most WW2 games.

    For now there are some improvements which would push my review up to a 10:
    -more game mode variety (Conquest and infantry focus game modes are great, grand operations is not as good in its current state as BF1's due to there only being 2 different operations)
    -female death screams are much more noticeable than males, tone them down a bit
    -Dragging downed soldier to safety mechanic added to game

    As of this review being written there are currently NO micro transactions, it is clear most of the user reviews for this game, haven't purchased it and tried it out as they would know this, currently the only way to earn in game currency is through levelling up and completing assignments.

    To address the addition of females in WW2, my only gripe is how piercing screams are for them, they stand out in a fight. Despite them being noticeable in multiplayer i remain immersed, you feel that the person that just got shot is generally screaming for their life.

    So to conclude, the game looks great, weapon handling is amazing, the sounds are immersing. Its a great all rounder. If you want a more challenging, realistic shooter than BF1, this is for you, the only thing that will make this game even better is the content to come over the next few years.    … Expand

    Love the game and as a player since 1942, this feels like coming back to Battlefield. Still some bugs and the future is still unclear about what it will hold, but it is the most fun I have had in ages, so many "only in Battlefield" moments.

    They took everything from Battlefield 1 and made it better. Gunplay is maybe the best since BF3 and the graphics and animations like damaged planes are fantastic. With the addiction of all the future updates (gratis) this will be a masterpiece. Do not trust the reviews bombing.

    One of the best Battlefields IMO, Atleast since BF3 for me, As a medic player primarily, The changes to revives and health make the experience so much better, I've had so many great moments with random squads, Keeping them alive and taking points against many many more enemies, Single player is **** but whatever, The multiplayer is too good to not give out a 10

    They've reverted all the terrible TTK changes, so I will revert my review change as well.

    On December 12th, 2018, they rolled out a TTK update, which essentially reverted all of the hard work the team did to improve gunplay. This update wasn't asked for, as TTK was one of the highlights of the game. I'm changing my score from 10 to 2 due to this atrocious and unwelcome change.

    ** ORIGINAL REVIEW**
    I've been a Battlefield veteran for a little under 10 years now, and Battlefield V is by far my favorite title in the series so far. I canceled my pre-order after the beta, but I decided to give it another shot as I love the series. DICE really took the constructive criticisms to heart. There are NO microtransactions in the game at launch, and when they arrive, they will be cosmetic only and no random boxes. All future content is free. The gunplay is comparable to BF3, which many people consider to have the best gunplay in the entire series. The character customization, while lacking an actual character creator, is in-depth enough for people who are into it yet not so in-depth that those who don't enjoy that aspect of a game won't find it tedious and distracting. The gameplay itself is fast paced and has a sense of urgency that I feel was missing from Battlefield 1. The weapon progression is fantastic, and the idea to have the starter weapons full upgraded on start prevents new players from being run over by veteran players (something that occurred in Battlefront 2). I was skeptical when I played the beta, like I'm sure many of you were, but rest assured, the final product is by far worth the money and a fantastic addition to the series. They took the better parts of the previous games, specifically regarding players' feedback, and created, in my personal opinion, one of the best FPS games in that last decade.     All Vehicles are too bad, a tank should scare them, but in Battlefield 5 they think, hey walk to it throw one Grenade and get a easy kill.

    I am very disappointing with this game, as you can not choose to be a transgender dwarf on either the Germans or the Brits. I don't think EA is being fair at all and need sort this out. But hopefully next patch will fix this. For this reason a score of 2.

Сайт техподдержки не работает, связаться с ними нельзя. Просто выкинул    Хотел купить игру с распродажи на новогодние праздники. За двое суток до окончания акции - начали сбоить сервера ЕА, из-за чего купить ничего не получалось со скидкой.

    I just can not imagine how could they launch the game like this. It is starting to look better, but I would certainly wait for a few months because currently, it is a scam. The game does not worth more than $10-$20.

    The customer support is absolutely horrendous and the representatives of EA I talked to couldn't give a rats ass about the games current state nor willing to issue refunds because of their policies that even goes directly against the Consumer Rights Act of 2015.

    They've introduced a new subscription-based model to play their latest games with pretty much everything included for a monthly/yearly fee, which sounds great on paper until they're not able to give refunds on a subscription-based model.    … Expand

    The time to death is insanely low, you will die too often within one frame without getting any time to react. The game encourages camping because its very hard to see players that don't move. No 3D spotting except for snipers with spotting scope - who rarely use them to help the team. DICE is forcing teamwork on players but most randoms don't care about teamwork or voip chat at all. Those who do will only point out the enemy who killed them so that you can seek revenge on his behalf.
    Medics don't heal and support won't supply ammo because they get very few points (10) for doing that. Medic weapons are nerf guns only good for CQC maps and the revive animation will get you killed so revives are rare. It seems DICE achieved the exact opposite of the teamwork they intended. The gunplay is good when you get the drop on the enemy player but most of the time its who sees who first.
    You get needlessly stuck on certain terrain in maps which shows that they were not properly tested. You catch on fire if you stand next to fire in certain areas as if you dunked in gasolene before the battle for some reason. You get 'killed in action' if something like a barrel next to you explodes. You get insta-killed too many times as soon as you spawn. This stuff happens just too often for the game to be any fun.
    Planes - especially bombers - were OP at launch and then got huge nerfs in the patch to point that they are now useless. Tanks have no choice but to camp far from positions where they could get insta-rekt by assault players. The attrition system has also not encouraged teamwork - instead everyone camps the supply points because they know their teammates might not support. Besides, supply points replenish ammo fully compared to a supply crate from a support player which only gives you one gadget and starts the cooldown clock.
    Zerging is the only alternative to camping in this game because of all the issues mentioned above. Its as though DICE devs never play their own games and keep coming up with new idiotic ideas. In BF1 it was behemoths and hero kits. Here it is the attrition system, removal of spotting, broken revives, smaller squads, buggy maps and terrain, useless vehicles to name a few.
    The terrible UI and server browser where you still cant see the progress of a game before joining; so you join to find the game is over and most players have left. I could go on and on about this game but DICE has a history of bad launches and eventually fixing the issues over several months. But by then the price has dropped to $10 and most serious players have moved on.
    This game is bad, really bad. If you paid full price, you have only yourself to blame, given the history of DICE and EA. I am thinking I till wait till it goes down to $5 - which is probably very soon. But then no one will be playing the game. Very disappointing. Like watching an alcoholic friend self-destruct. You hope they will reform but they never do and keep self-destructing until the tragic end which actually seems merciful somehow.    … Expand

Maybe you should do some research on WW2 and realize that the game you are creating is a joke. I call on all of you, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.     Yes, as many people have pointed out, I did lie about my background in this post. Please do not upvote. This post was an attempt to put pressure on EA and raise awareness to this issue. As those familiar with the Battlefront 2 subreddit will remember, significant pressure by the subreddit resulted in an EA Rep talking with the Reddit community about microtransactions. This communication resulted in heavy backlash on EA, and allowed for the company to temporarily disable microtransactions and mitigate the pay to win elements of the game. Unlike many people here have said, I do not believe Reddit is insignificant, and I do not believe that those who want a degree of historic authenticity are an extremely small minority. I believe if enough pressure is put on DICE and EA, they will create a setting that disables customization and allows for player models that look similar to Battlefield 1 (different silhouettes for each class, somewhat proper uniforms for each faction, correct helmets). I honestly believe that no one wants to take away someone's ability to choose what gender and race their soldier is. However, I also believe that this shouldn't take away someone's ability to choose to play the most accurate representation of World War 2 that the game offers. More choice is a good thing, and to want a historically presentable viewing experience should not be seen as "uneducated."

    Well after this I gave up on the single player and went to the multiplayer and things didn't get much better, it seems women fought on the front line on the western front, which is complete bollocks! Don't get me wrong, women played a huge role in the war especially in espionage, partisan actions, code breaking, the production of planes, tanks and munitions etc. but get it right! Every time I hear some cockney woman scream down the radio I can't help but cringe. It's not that I'm against women being in this game but if they wanted women in it then why the hell didn't they do an Eastern Front game where there were actually women front line soldiers.

I have been playing Battlefield since the original 1942 on the PC and all the expansions that came with it. I forgave EA with BF4 and its crappy launch and stuck it out and enjoyed the game.     Single shot riles are massively under powered. For example: You can shoot an enemy with a bolt action rifle 3 times in the chest and not kill them. I've had similar situations with head shots.

    Scopes light you up like a Christmas Tree. The moment you look down your sight, every person facing your direction can see you a mile away. Totally defeats the point of stealth.

    Grenades do nothing. You might as well be throwing pineapples.

    Lots of aspects of the game are still unfinished.

    Painting your weapon... just why? Stupid idea.

EA controls all the servers so that they can make an extra $50, which pretty much have to be full to play. So you're either waiting in line to join or waiting for others to join. Unlike DICE's accidentally perfect Battlefield 1942, multiplayer will be unplayable within a year. The maps are very small and there is little to explore. In BF 1942, you could hide in the mountains of El Alamein or land a plane in the fields of Bocage to do repairs. Here, you're in someone's line of sight ready to take a bullet at all times. And you cannot land a plane. Or take-off. So instead of people waiting on the runway for planes to spawn, they wait outside the game in the deployment interface.     I played this game through Origin Premier for $15 and i'm upset that I even had to spend that much. Every second of playing the game it reminds me that we could of had Bad Company 3, but instead we got a """"WW2"""" game that nobody asked for.     Weapon customization is borderline gone, its all turned into an RPG skill tree. Same goes with vehicles which have different EXP on each faction which makes leveling each one an annoying task and you get screwed if you are on the Allies but your Axis tank is all leveled up.

    I gave this game about 10 hours of my live before i removed it from my life.

    I'd raise the score to a 5.0 if the game was in a fixed state. It's average. Maybe revisit in 12 months. Right now the    3.0 is a fair score for this game. Camping is the new winning strategy for score and kills, if you try to play objectives you'll spend most of your time listening to the same 2-3 lines from your dude as you lie on your back fruitlessly waiting for a revive.

    The sound design is awful, like Quake 2 era bad. No satisfying reports, no sound of booming in the distance, no rumble of tanks in the distance. If a car is over the hill you'll never know because its engine doesn't make noise until you're standing next to it.

    Everything is washed out and overexposed. It feels like your soldier has eye damage.

    The menus are annoying and uncommunicative, and things are often buried several clicks deep, even simple things like changing your gun. Squad change is still hidden in the escape menu, and loadout change requires a click to another screen when you die.

    Managing your inventory is even more annoying and unintuitive than BF1. Changing sites on a gun requires many clicks, and the default sites are not good. The default guns are also basically crap (again, unless you're a sniper, the class this game was made to feed). Your starting loadout will leave you massively disadvantaged against established players.

    This game feels designed to make the majority of players feed fun to a small but vocal minority of players, split between campers and COD twitch tweakers.

    I would not recommend this game to anyone, and am only glad that I got it for 50% off. This will be the last EA game I buy. It's sad, but the Battlefield series is dead.

    Please note that the petulant gripes from crybabies about "historical accuracy" or "sjws" or whatever are nonsense. Magic syringe shots that cure bullet wounds aren't historically accurate and those idiots never complained about that, they're just insecure sexists. While BF 1 put me in the year 1914, this could take part at any time of modern history, the lack of a "WW2-feeling" is present at any time, I feel like I'm in some sort of CoD alternative WW2 dimension. The game's only released that early cause of their greed, not even now in October 2019 the game is ready. Every magazine rating this crap higher than 70 is corrupt, nothing else to say here, just do not believe any of their fake reviews. After 1 year of release the game doesnt even contain the Soviet Union and they call it a World War 2 game and gaming-magazines rate it 85/100, i mean really?
    Waste of time, waste of money, gonna stick to BF1. 1/10 from me for the graphics.

    -War Stories (campaign) is still absolute garbage. Bad AI, bland missions, bad writing, just plain boring.

    -Combined Arms- possible one of the laziest game modes ever concocted by a AAA studio. basically coop missions with none of the good things from singleplayer and all of the bad things instead.

    -Firestorm- hit or miss for Battlefield fans. Very basic Battle Royal with vehicles. Low player count makes finding matches a pain and makes it absolutely impossible for players in Oceana/Australia. Despite a lot of the player base preferring Duos over squads and solo, DICE decided to remove Duos.

    -Multiplayer Game Modes- Conquest and Breakthrough are the only game modes worth a damn right now. BFV used to have other popular game modes like Frontlines, Grind, and Fortress, but they removed those as well. Grand Operations are not very "Grand" and feel more like a grab-bag match of different game modes where the outcome of previous round bears almost no impact on the upcoming round. Team Deathmatch is currently still present, but there is nothing special there either. Still no hardcore mode.

    -Maps- Out of the 8 launch maps, only 4 are fun to play. Several maps are not balanced for Conquest, so one team will have a much easier time capping and holding onto several of the flags. I can tell they tried to move away from the large sprawling battle META of previous Battlefields, for a much smaller and frenetic infantry based maps with vehicles added as more of an afterthought. The only map that seems to capture the Battlefield feeling of old is "Panzerstorm" (which coincidentally a lot of the brand new and casual run-and-gun FPS players hate).

    -Updates- piss poor amount of content for a major AAA "live service" title. Only games that are doing worse are Anthem and Fallout 76, and that's a low bar. 6 months in we have only 1 new map, a handful of new weapons, and skins (most of which are only purchasable with real money).

    -Cosmetics- laughable at best. Weapon camos are awful, Soldier cosmetics(that you can buy with CC) are dull and wildly inaccurate. Most of the new skins are purchasable only with Boins (premium currency). The person in charge of designing them must have a hard on for the absurd, because the elite skins are pretty awful and hearken to some Liberace WW2 steampunk fever dream. Company Coin has lost most of its use after the release of BOINS, due to this, the game economy is starting to skew towards premium currency. Also what's with all the goggles???

    -Balancing- Team balancer is MIA or just plain doesn't work. Dice is constantly nerfing weapons and vehicles until they're utterly useless or buffing them until that's all anybody uses. Game meta is trash and is more akin to Call of Duty than Battlefield. Anti-cheat is pretty bad too. Cheating is very rampant in Firestorm and VERY prevalent on Asia servers.

    -Bugs and performance issues are a constant problem. Whenever one bug is fixed, 2 more usually take its place. The game is also very poorly optimized. Don't expect 60 fps unless you have a monster rig or mess with a lot of the graphics settings.

    VERDICT: save your money. This game is obviously a cash grab. Incomplete at launch with promises of future content, BFV seems to be losing more than it's gaining. Play BF1 or BF4 if you want to have fun.    … Expand

    It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.
