    An incomplete heap of garbage that you've seen regurgitated year after year. There is nothing new or interesting, there are microtransactions (they purposely made the game a grind to force you to pay more, by the way), and it's made by EA. There are two primary audiences EA appeal to: grimy, hunch-backed critics (that accept bribes so small they would make a senator blush) and gullibleAn incomplete heap of garbage that you've seen regurgitated year after year.     It´s like 100% Battlefront 2 (the bad one, not the good one) but with a re skin.

Да и даже оценка от игроков завышена(выше моё мнение, а не утверждения. We are more than 2 months past release day, and the game still won't even start reliably.    Leaving aside the many questionable narrative decisions made in this game, there is a much bigger problem. Battlefield V on PC is a raging dumpster fire of bugs and poor optimization.

    I've played most of the BF games; they have all struggled with quality, but this thing is on a whole other level. We are more than 2 months past release day, and the game still won't even start reliably. Origin, which is easily the worst launcher/DRM client in the industry, may be the culprit, but what difference does it make? Origin has, somehow, gotten incrementally worse over time. It feels like a homebrew java app now, and runs worse.

    If you can properly align your decoder ring long enough get BFV running, it's an uninspired, paint-by-numbers WWII shooter. In other words, it's boring.

    EA has taken some undeserved flak over the years. They've earned a ton, too, but some was just a pile-on.

    They deserve every ounce of it for this game. BFV is a low point for a publisher who has had too many of them in recent years.    … Expand

    Tides of War is focused around Squad conquest which is SUPER RARE LEGENDARY piece of sh!t, i regret spending any amount of money on this!

    I've written a critical review about a month after the release date, where I complained about many things including the lack of content, gameplay/team play/classes, and countless bugs. Now, after about 2.5 months and 100 hours sunk into this thing, I've come here to cut the developers some slack. I will speak really just about the multiplayer because the SP campaign is obviously not the core thing in this game.

    Also, the historical element is only incidental. The sooner you accept that this is a shooter with WWII props and not a historical game, the more fun you're going to have. You'll be playing British soldiers in made-up grey uniforms with gas masks wielding a German STG 44... with a f-ing collimator.

    Gameplay - this is really what the game is about.
    After the illogical experiment with higher TTK, which went terribly wrong, and seemingly fixed netcode issues (the infamous one-frame death), I think the gameplay has really reached its sweet spot. Combat seems difficult, fair and incredibly fun. Medic class is still a pain to play on open maps although the SMGs have been buffed somewhat. New ZK 383, which medic received in the latest tide of war, is a blast and almost able to compete with assault weapons.
    The visibility is still poor (realistic?) and the non-existence of the 3d spotting makes the game even more challenging. Good speakers/headphones should help a lot to identify enemies. The team play is sometimes still terrible with people playing out of their roles or driving a tank in the water in Rotterdam, but you can still get into some pretty good matches.
    The variety of modes is great with a bit of everything for all tastes. Personally, I play the frontlines or breakthrough the most.

    Content: I would appreciate a bit more maps for certain modes, but the current number is still good to keep me engaged (the Pacific, or Russia would be cool in the future). The devs add a couple of new weapons every now and then, which is nice.
    The customisability of primary weapons is not well thought through imho, you can't customise secondary weapons and the number of gadgets is not that great either.

    Graphics are still stunning, but you would need at least 12gb ram to run the game (I learned this the hard way and experienced unpredictable stuttering while playing with only 8gigs and GTX 1060).

    Bugs: they're everywhere, get used to it. The most annoying thing at the moment is that some players cannot see their avatar when they select the uniform. Which is even more annoying that the choice of your clothes has a huge impact on visibility. Another bug bug that's ruining the gameplay for me a bit is being constantly (and rather unpredictably) stuck on geometry. You learn quite quickly that trying to leap over a hedge or a rock is a tricky thing to do in a gunfight.

    To conclude, the game is really fun at its core, if you accept there is a learning curve. DICE has made several blunders while releasing and maintaining the game (miscommunication, insulting the community, acting like this was a historical game, releasing the game with bugs that were not present in the previous titles, TTK experiment etc.), but did it ultimately ruin my gaming experience? No.

    Oh yeah, one last thing. Remember the invisible flying Chinese cheater in BF IV? We're probably going to get them in BF V at some point as well ;)    … Expand

    The game had a semi-stable release (compared to BF4 PC) and was actually very fun despite the game-breaking bugs that plague the experience. Patch after patch DICE releases "new content" and "bug fixes" (which essentially re-break the game to a state worse than before) through their live service, Tides of War. This is where I see the main issue is. On paper, I can see how Tides of War can be a very immersive experience; DICE wants to bring the players along a narrative journey throughout World War II as they release new maps and content to encapsulate the attention of players through the life cycle of the game. However, the execution of this live service system has been THE WORST I have ever seen from a Triple A Developer/Publisher (Not a surprise, its EA).

    At launch, there were eight maps with SIX game modes (3 of which are unpopular with the PC community) which resulted in a severe content drought and a loss of interest from many players. The game being in an almost pre-Alpha state did not help with its publicity either. Game-breaking bugs, rampant hacking, and the Deluxe Edition SCAM has tarnished the once highly acclaimed Battlefield franchise. There is a dire lack of communication and clarity from DICE to the community which becomes extremely frustrating when players want to know what they are promised in the Tides of War service after being extorted 60 dollars for a far-from-finished product. The most recent patch, as of the writing of this review, is Chapter 2: Lightning Strike which introduces many of the game-breaking bug fixes and "new content" (no new maps until March???). Once again, the bug fixes, while some did work to improve the experience, actually broke the game even more than before. This is absolutely ridiculous and SHAMEFUL that a Triple A company such as DICE, with some of the most prestigious developers of the industry, would dare release a product in such a dismal state. The content that players expected at the release of a new Chapter have either been pushed back or have a big fat SOON slapped onto it. ie Rush, Greece Campaign, Tank-Busting Vehicles, Combined Arms, Firestorm. Everything is just SOON and when the products come out they are either broken or completely below expectations.

    I genuinely wanted to like this game and support it in its entirety, but seeing the toxic practices of EA and the downward slope of the Battlefield franchise is extremely disheartening. The Battlefield V memes making fun of this game have been more well made and thought out than this dumpster fire. The hopeful optimism I had from the first time I have heard of Battlefield V is long gone and now I just dread where the rest of this game's life cycle as well as the future of Battlefield games are going. Aside from the amazing sound design and the slightly improved graphics compared to Battlefield 1, Battlefield V ultimately is a husk of what previous games in the franchise were. The game is simply unfinished, rushed, and obviously marketed to be a money-grab for those foolish enough to fall for their ploy. I completely regret my decision to purchase and support this game and I am ashamed to call myself a Battlefield fan. There is a lot of potential in this game that is overshadowed by greed and an effortless production for one of their main franchises.I don't know if EA will change their vile practices or better, if DICE will escape their grasp, but I really hope that the same mistakes they made in Battlefield V will not be reflected in future Battlefield games.    … Expand

    If you're thinking of getting it, imagine playing Battlefront 2 mixed with Call Of Duty. I say this for two reasons: 1. The guns are all laser accurate (which is fine) but they also have little to no recoil so expect unbelievably fast rate of play and 2. You're a ninja in this installment of BF and you can slide and ninja and parkour all around so expect even more extremely fast paced gameplay. Not only that, but the low plane ceiling and maps with sometimes 8 planes flying around expect basically constant bombing everywhere not in a WW2 air raid way, I mean in a randomized Nuke kinda way. It just makes no sense and it's not how any battles were fought.

    This is compounded by DICE's pretentious marketing about the game calling it authentic and immersive when really it's just a Transformers movie in clothing from the 40s.

    If you're looking for a game that is true to the WW2 era, has rewarding gun play, has any form of valuable combat tactics, has good plane combat or support, does not have COD-like combat, does justice to the BF franchise, DO NOT GET THIS GAME.

    I'm really do feel betrayed by DICE and will never be a true supporter of their company again. Feels like a breakup but it's gotta be done :(    … Expand

The Developper reacted to critics appropriately and so far I'm satisfied, there are bugs yes, but I'm confident they will be fixed. Historical accuracy was never a thing that was promised and as you know our forefathers didn't run to different flags to defeat the Nazis, so I find the whole debate ridiculous. IThe Gameplay is fun and I'm enjoying both multiplayer and singleplayer modes. Historical accuracy was never a thing that was promised and as you know our forefathers didn't run to different flags to defeat the Nazis, so I find the whole debate ridiculous. I really enjoyed the Last Tiger Mission, it was outstanding and nice to see the war from the german view. Microstransactions can only be used for cosmetics so it's everyone's own choice if he/she wants to buy a skin or not. Also one can't criticise BF5 for having them while enjoying other titles with the same System (OW, Anthem,Fortnite, Fifa,...). I think the ratings aren't quite as objective as they should be.
    All in all a great game, also I'm happy you can play as a woman, makes the game also more interesting for female players.    … Expand

    Even worse than BF1 if that is possible. It is bad on pretty much every level. I can't even see my character any longer while trying to customize. Snipers can leap and roll around like an arcade game while still landing head shots. It feels like alpha in every way.

I am no EA fan, but I played almost every Battlefield game and I have no Idea why the people don't like this. The teamplay is the best since, I don't know...This is better and more fun than BF1, in some regards even better than BF4 but the point is....I have to admit I like modern warfareMy god, for every EA game there are too many people who shouldn't be allowed to vote.     So after 100 hours playing online without ever completing a single sp campaign (I wish they wiould stop creating single player for a multiplayer game, seriously!) I will make a pause now and wait for new maps and that battle royale mode in march. Glad I don't have to pay for a DLC this time.
    Though the graphic settings are pretty bugged for me (HDR fail and resolution bugs),
    this game looks still like the best I've seen up to date (thanx GTX 1080! => 1440p60p with HDR and settings on ultra). Glad I bought it for PC not PS4 pro this time.
    I only think there should've been 1-2 more maps for launch, or that Battleroyale mode....but hey...it comes in 2 months now.

    Let me do a summary for the whiners:
    - single player doesn't matter, never mattered once!
    - TTK whiner, get a life
    - historical accuracy, who cares this is a semi-arcade multiplayer shooter with just enough realisic elements to stay fun
    - if you hate EA this is no reason to hate a very good DICE game    … Expand

    So far the worst Battlefield I've ever played. Unnecessarily huge maps, very fast TTK, no spotting, annoying munitions, inaccurate shooting, no suppressive effect for snipers, only 64 players in conquest, dying behind walls, bugs and so on. It's no longer Battlefield, but corrupt COD. No more Battlefields. The best Battlefield was Bf3.

There are an inadequate number of servers that are difficult to browse. There is no reporting system for cheaters. There is no auto balancing. Basically everything that made BF3 great, is gone.     Campaign: after one of the most epic prologues I've ever seen in a game, the rest of the campaign repeats the same level structure of each war story in    Hanging on what Battlefield 1 accomplished, Battlefield V keeps most of the concepts of its previous game on its multiplayer lot and expands it just a little, and after playing it 15 hours, you might feel there's not much to do on it.

    Campaign: after one of the most epic prologues I've ever seen in a game, the rest of the campaign repeats the same level structure of each war story in terms of the gameplay: cutscene-infiltration mission-another cutscene-another infiltration mission but less linear-cutscene. Besides of this, these war stories doesn't feel to have enough relation or repercussion on the WWII course, they feel like these stories only happened in that time lapse, but nothing to see in the war.

    Multiplayer: one of the most important progress this game made in comparison to Battlefield 1 is the weapon customization, because if in BF1 most of the weapons you could find were just variations of a single weapon and you weren't able to modify them, this time, the game allows you to actually change every benefit of them, from things that actually add these weapons an advantage for you once on the battlefield, to aesthetic aspects like their camouflage color. Leaving that aside, the rest of the multiplayer fails because of its current lack of playable content and its unbalanced matchmaking system. You might find every game mode really fun in the first hours, but the update plan its publisher took left a multiplayer focused game without enough necessary content to enjoy it after playing a few hours, without taking into account the fact that it doesn't have enough playable upgrades compared to its previous release.

    Conclusion: beside its stunning graphics and destruction engine, which actually had its previous release, Battlefield V does not feel like a WWII game, just as it lacks of enough enjoyable content on its multiplayer modes and, finally, puts on the table one of the most mediocre and less inspired campaigns in the Battlefield series. At this moment, I would not recommend this game with its current lack of content and taking into account we are barely on the first chapter of the update plan.     Was expecting another bf1 hit, got call of duty. There is no distinguishable difference between the 3 other classes that aren't the sniper class. All automatic rifles, all run and gun, all can revive, all have at weapons. Can't change weapon attachments mid game.     Single shot riles are massively under powered. For example: You can shoot an enemy with a bolt action rifle 3 times in the chest and not kill them. I've had similar situations with head shots.

    Scopes light you up like a Christmas Tree. The moment you look down your sight, every person facing your direction can see you a mile away. Totally defeats the point of stealth.

    Grenades do nothing. You might as well be throwing pineapples.

    Lots of aspects of the game are still unfinished.

    Painting your weapon... just why? Stupid idea.

    Variations of the same game.
    There is no rhyme nor reason to the various of Capture the Flag on offer in the multiplayer. It's the same idea dressed up slightly differently. Yawn

Planes seem like a separate game all together.

    It's not that a visceral insanely paced arcade-y shooter can't be fun. But if that's what you want, buy a game that has been designed to be that. I've played most of the BF series and was hoping that I would get something designed more like 1942, Desert Combat, or even Bad Company where you have a sense of surging on the attack, and holding ground when defending. BF V is just meat in a blender. As soon you hit the power button you're left with a gross amorphous slurry of slop.

    The sound design is awful, like Quake 2 era bad. No satisfying reports, no sound of booming in the distance, no rumble of tanks in the distance. If a car is over the hill you'll never know because its engine doesn't make noise until you're standing next to it.

    Everything is washed out and overexposed. It feels like your soldier has eye damage.

    The menus are annoying and uncommunicative, and things are often buried several clicks deep, even simple things like changing your gun. Squad change is still hidden in the escape menu, and loadout change requires a click to another screen when you die.

    Managing your inventory is even more annoying and unintuitive than BF1. Changing sites on a gun requires many clicks, and the default sites are not good. The default guns are also basically crap (again, unless you're a sniper, the class this game was made to feed). Your starting loadout will leave you massively disadvantaged against established players.

    This game feels designed to make the majority of players feed fun to a small but vocal minority of players, split between campers and COD twitch tweakers.

    I would not recommend this game to anyone, and am only glad that I got it for 50% off. This will be the last EA game I buy. It's sad, but the Battlefield series is dead.

    Please note that the petulant gripes from crybabies about "historical accuracy" or "sjws" or whatever are nonsense. Magic syringe shots that cure bullet wounds aren't historically accurate and those idiots never complained about that, they're just insecure sexists.     La jugabilidad es buena, pero es una copia del 1, los gráficos pese a las carencias anteriormente mencionadas son buenos y superan a los del último COD por goleada, pero para nada necesitas eso 6gb de Vram que te piden, porque se ven muchos fallos tontos.

    Las muertes las veo cutres, no hay desmembramiento, no hay gore, no hay nada, te puede explotar una granada en la mano que to vas a seguir igual pero muerto, además las escenas son surrealistas y parecen animaciones de muñecos a lo cod mw2.

    Algo surrealista que tiene el multijugador es que, por ejemplo un tanque te revienta con el cañón pero pese a eso sigues con la posibilidad de ser reanimado por el médico, le han quitado mucho realismo al juego.

    No se siente como un juego de la segunda guerra mundial para nada, le doy un aprobado por los avances técnicos, y porque sigue siendo mejor que COD, pero solo lo recomendaría por su multijugador y para nada me gastaría 60$ en este producto, lo recomiendo en rebajas.

    De todas formas la experiencia multijugador tiene la esperanza de ser mejorada puesto que en febrero viene el modo Battle Royale y demás adiciones, algo que dará más vidilla y entretenimiento al juego.

    La banda sonora es buena, pero es no es nada nuevo en un videojuego de EA (ya que es de las pocas cosas que hacen bien)

    I am very disappointing with this game, as you can not choose to be a transgender dwarf on either the Germans or the Brits. I don't think EA is being fair at all and need sort this out. But hopefully next patch will fix this. For this reason a score of 2.

    Objectively no but if you havent played previous BF titles probably you will be impressed about destruction, vehicles, classes and other many many things BF is known for.
    BF:V compared to previous BF has less content at launch, less weapons (weapons copied from BF1 arent counting in overall) and majority of things that DICE was advertising (Battle Royale for example) will come in March (almost 5 months after release!).
    In this "best Battlefield" game vehicles are trash. If you were dreaming about destroying enemy team with mighty Tiger tank you will be dissapointed. Tanks are paper made and the only way to survive in them is camping because assault soldier equiped with panzerfaust will destroy you pretty fast before you will escape.
    Medic class is now useless because now every squadmate (not teammate - keep that in mind) can revive you and its killing the whole idea of this class. The worse thing is that now you can keep small medkit for bad moments and you dont need medic for this because you can pick up it from supply station or just spawn with it.
    Big ammo and medic boxes are useless, Its not filled with limited count of ammo pouches but with only one. When somebody will take ammo from this everybody else need to wait in line for new ammo to spawn..... no words. Faster way to refill ammo is just asking someone to drop you ammo pouch. Boxes are waste of time.

    No, no, no, no. No matter how people who dont know how BF looked before 2010 will be repeating this heresies it still wont be tactical as BF2 or 2142. BF:V hasnt commander mode, hasnt enchanced order system, has only 4 player squads (its too little, BF2 haD 6 and even BF1 which is named as casual had 5 person squads!).
    Remember good old times when you were under heavy fire and your squad leader asked commander for artillery support or doing the sabotage in enemy base by destroying his artillery or UAV as special ops? That was tactical and teambased game. "V" is not even close to this with only "attack" or "defend" order and V1 rocket falling from the sky. If for you teamplay is just sprinting with some random people from flag to flag which we had in BF3, BF4 and BF1 you probably believed in game marketing.
    Ah, I forgot about some stupid mechanic in game that breaks balancing. When some team is losing its getting capture flag time buff and its tickets will be bleeding slower.... no words. Once I had game when we were losing 100-400 and we won 0-70! *another game praising opinion*

    Hardcore? I can say only "maybe". We are living in times where when game has things like weapon recoil or faster TTK than Overwatch is instantly called hardcore xD
    I like weapon recoil in this game but we have problem - with red dot sights (in WW2 lulz) recoil is smaller and even handless person can control it. With iron sights weapon is harder to control.
    The second thing wrong with this are red dot sights in World War 2 game. I know that this technology was used during this war in planes but facts are facts and these sights were introduced for infantry in late 80s. The only reason they are in BF:V is making the aiming easier and *profanity* casual.
    Faster TTK was good idea but in BFV its very bad cause broken TTD, You die too fast. When you start to taking hits its impossible to do anything because you die in a second. No possibility to find out from where enemy is shooting. Game feels like CoD now....
    Here is no 3D spotting which is the greatest thing in this game. But wait. Spotting now is completely gone! Only sniper can now spot with his periscope or flare gun. You cannot spot enemy tank as regular soldier to warn you teammates because spot will not appear on minimap. Teamplay focused as hell...

    Now some cries about WW2 and overall war athmosphere feeling.
    Do you remember epic operations in BF1? Do you remember when DICE said about GREAT OPERATIONS in BFV? Yeah? Now imagine BF1 without epic charges after taking sector, without epic music, epic miracle wins with armored train or blimp. These are grand operations in BFV. No feeling of "great" in this.
    Game hasnt athmosphere of WW2. Its soulless and sometimes they are almost putting political correctness in your mouth.... it even not feels like war anymore. The militaristic feel that we can remember from previous BF titles flies away... now its something similiar to Fortnite (cause of battle royale mechanics and neuter customisation without authentic uniforms and insignias). Im not even writing about things like women in airborne troops because other people wrote enough about this

There's also very little customization---not for the benefit of realism, because in the game you can slap a nydar shotgun sight on almost every rifle or smg, like that was a normal thing back in the day. How about porting the barrel, tuning the recoil spring and bolt for faster or slower cyclic rate, trading rpm for recoil etc. People have been chopping barrels and stocks, attaching diy wooden foregrips, extended magazines or making semiauto handguns fully automatic since the great depression days, just look at John Dillenger's full auto 1911 in 38 super, it was criminally awesome. but none of these cool stuff was in a game that should have them for the sake of gameplay while maintaining realism. The free cosmetics are nice touch and so is the minor customization you can do on a weapon by weapon basis (this makes up for the lack of customization in weapons given we are using WWI, WWII and later guns).

    Gunplay: This is where the game shines in my opinion from past battlefields. I'm a sucker for old fashion guns. The bolt action snipers are a blast and the semi auto rifles/ sub machine guns are some of my favorite. The addition (I'm guessing they existed in Battlefield One also) of machine guns that are more powerful but require you to lay down to shoot make the game much more interesting as well, but I haven't spent much time with them.

    Time to Kill:
    The time to kill feels appropriate, but I do wish bolt action snipers did a bit more damage. Currently you have to shoot people twice to kill them or once in the head making bolt actions kind of pointless when some of the semi auto snipers can also two shot kill. I still take the bolt for fun head shot picks, but they should buff direct chest shots to also one shot kill in my opinion for bolt actions.

    All automatics seem to kill at a good rate especially the heavy machine guns from my limited time playing them.

    Maps: This is where the game loses two points for me. The maps aren't amazing. They are good looking, but are a bit boring. Nothing about them stands out as interesting. There are two maps with a bridge which makes for some interesting fights on top of it, but thats a bout all that stands out. Battlefield 3 on the other hand had extremely diverse maps with each one having unique elements that stood out (the giant one with a spire in the middle was super fun for vehicles, the tunnel one made for crazy linear pushes and fights with cover to dip and weave between, ect) Don't expect nearly as much from these maps.

    Gamemodes: I docked another point because of this. The two game modes that are most played are called breakthrough and grand operations. Grand operations has a bunch of different game modes thrown into it so I'll talk about that one second. Breakthrough was the spiritual successor to rush as the main game mode and its only ok. One team defends two - three bases and the other team has to try to secure all of them at the same time to move onto the next wave of bases. Unlike rush I never felt satisfied when I took a base as the enemy team could always take it back. There was no massive explosion or anything to make you feel like you accomplished anything. Just a temporary goal achieved because you had more people around a flag than the enemy. You literally don't have to do anything but stand there with other teammates to take a base. And when you team runs off to take the other objectives you have no hope of defending a huge area alone (in rush you could defend the building where you had to plant the bomb a bit better by yourself or a single squad). The game mode is still decently fun as it beats the heck out of boring game modes like teamdeathmatch, but its no where near as fun as rush.

    Grand operations is a bit more fun as it includes three rounds with different scenarios on one map area (there are about 3 map areas in total if i remember correctly). The objectives are fun, but once again not as fun as past installations to the series, but what makes it a bit more fun than break through is the scale of the fighting is much larger. Where this mode fails is the fact that only the last round of 3 matters for who wins. The first two rounds don't mean anything in this game mode except a small boost to the attackers if they do well the previous round (the defenders don't ever get anything). This is ridiculous from a game design standpoint (it should be best of three). If this game was actually competitive I would dock several points for just this. However, since these games are a casual shooter at the end of the day I don't think its really justified to dock more points for an arbitrary victory or loss screen at the end of matches.

    PC Port: Haven't had too many issues that other people have reported. Occasional small bugs that have existed in all battlefield games that never really detracted from my enjoyment. The only thing that has really bothered me is that the game starts off windowed sometimes and I have to go to the video settings in the game to get it back to full screen.

    Summary: A fun casual shooter with enjoyable gunplay and lackluster maps and game modes. If you are looking for a run and gun where you can just relax this is a good option in my opinion. Over all it satisfies my itch for that purpose.    … Expand

    The first free DLC was recently released, it’s a step in the right direction, but again content is so little, and the upcoming DLCs seems to be the same. The game feels empty, shallow, unfinished and not driven by creativity but by finance. Maybe just maybe there is hope when the last DLC is out.
    And not to mention these animations for dying, reviving or getting revived, it takes forever. These animatons it does not fit into multiplayer, its frustration and stupid.

    I am a Battlefield Veteran and have owned all of the series since the very first (as well as Battlefront). After spending many hours in multiplayer and single player campaign, I can honestly say this one is one of the best yet, if not the best! BFV has wonderful gameplay, beautiful graphics, and extreme attention to detail. I must admit, I was at first reluctant to make the purchase of BFVI am a Battlefield Veteran and have owned all of the series since the very first (as well as Battlefront). After spending many hours in multiplayer and single player campaign, I can honestly say this one is one of the best yet, if not the best! BFV has wonderful gameplay, beautiful graphics, and extreme attention to detail. I must admit, I was at first reluctant to make the purchase of BFV with all the negative reviews but after the first major patch and huge discount, I felt there wasn't much to lose (but $40). I am SO HAPPY I purchased this game. Even the single player is very well done; great story, interesting character development and cinematic, and a lot of fun to play.

    For all of those out there complaining about this game, I can't help but wonder if they have given it a fair shake. I also feel that many of us in the gaming community have become spoiled children demanding everything and not giving the developers their fair recognition and praise. Sure, EA (and other publishers) pushes developers to pump out games at an unrealistic rate, but the devs still work hard to bring us these games to enjoy. Certainly there are some developers and publishers that pump out games for cash grabs, but this isn't the case here!

    If you are still on the fence whether or not to purchase this game, I say GO FOR IT! You will not be disappointed. Besides, you know Dice will continue to improve upon this game with additional DLC and enhancements. Put aside the politics and enjoy the game for what it is; a magnificent fps with great graphics, excellent multiplayer squad based tactics, superior gameplay, and fun to be had!    … Expand

    Но помимо ебанутых борцов за толерантность и равенство, в хуевой игре надо винить EA, которых заворожила сладкая, полная свободы жизнь в богатстве, полученных на агрессивной монополизации. Они слушают не комьюнити, а финансовых аналитиков и инвесторов. И ограничивают время на разработку. BF1 делали более 3 лет, и техническая его составляющая получилась идеальной (как минимум в рамках серии BF). Но в случае с BFV, игру делали меньше 2 лет, в спешке и производственном аде. Из-за этого мы видим бесконечные матчи, нерабочие окна выбора оружия, бесчисленные проблемы с коллизией и многое, многое другое.

    Вместе все эти факторы и создали ту BFV, которую мы лицезреем. Но если бы не они, игра бы получилась отличной — хотя бы из-за стрельбы и физики оружия. Попробуйте найти хотя бы одного человека, который сказал бы, что стрельба в BFV плохая. Это вам не CoD с ее пластмассовой стрельбой.

    Но у нас есть, что есть. Но все же лично я уверен, что через год-два игру приведут в нормальное состояние, как в случае с BF4, которая спустя несколько лет после выхода свободно выдохнула, ведь ее больше не беспокоили бесчисленные технические проблемы. Так что, нам остается лишь ждать — либо исправления BF, либо появления на рынке конкурента, ибо таковых сейчас нет. И да, Call Of Duty проигрывает BF практически по всем параметрам.    … Expand

Honestly, I don't even care that much, because the infantry and team play are so much improved that you don't really want to go into an airplane or a tank.

    The game got a bad hype out of the gate. But if you choose your games based on that, you are missing out.

    There is a lot of people right now trying to jump on the hate train, especially mid/low tier YouTubers who see it as a way of getting a few more like and subs. Don't let them influence you. Pick up this game and make your own mind.    … Expand

    - not sure why it doesn't provide deutsch UI option but the voice is in deutsch, apparently u only get to choose from a list of pre-detemined locales

    - obviously wrong shell ballistics
    - u start w/ crappy guns and vehicles in servers filled with hardcore nerds, basically u can expect to be one shot few moment into the re-spawn, - The biggest issue of all is the re-spawn mechanism, high learning curve, no new comers like to be spawn-killed n yet this is exactly the thing u get in this game
    - no HE / AP distinction
    - the short barrel Panzer IV cant even kill infantry at close range with the smoothbore gun

    Bought it for less than a day at 50% off, refunded immediately.
    This is no doubt another piece of money grab title glued up together with whatever they have in store

    It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

    A great World War II shooter that will grow and improve. Do not buy the game because of its singleplayer, but if you consider the campaign a bonus to the multiplayer, you will be satisfied. [Issue#291]
