    Battlefield V | 2018 | PC | Played for: 12h

    Battlefield formula set in WW2 era (minus Russians). It's what you would expect from a typical Battlefield game (sandbox maps, with 4 classes, tons of vehicles (tanks, boats, planes etc.) with a decent balance. The shooting feels good and right, servers stability and ping is good. A ton of progression and achievements. Graphically it    Battlefield V | 2018 | PC | Played for: 12h

    The shooting feels good and right, servers stability and ping is good.
    A ton of progression and achievements.

    Graphically it is really impressive from the looks but specially from optimization (I got 70 fps on GTX1070 @1440p all on ultra, no raytracing ofc)
    Singleplayer short stories are fun, but in no way enough to justify the purchase.

    Dobrze ze sprawdziłem ta grę w xbox game pass inaczej był bym zły i rozczarowany zakupem ...

    Хорошый мультиплеер, как ни странно, но мне кажется, что тимплей, придуманный еа адекватный, патрон и аптечек мне всегда хватало, карты красивые и зрелищные, правда оптимизации ртх хромает игра часто фризит с ртх, но достоверность это что-то, 60% твоих тиммейтов бегают за женские скины, реализм не много ломается, но в целом прямо сильно это по реализму не бьет, очевидно это все-еще лучшийХорошый мультиплеер, как ни странно, но мне кажется, что тимплей, придуманный еа адекватный, патрон и аптечек мне всегда хватало, карты красивые и зрелищные, правда оптимизации ртх хромает игра часто фризит с ртх, но достоверность это что-то, 60% твоих тиммейтов бегают за женские скины, реализм не много ломается, но в целом прямо сильно это по реализму не бьет, очевидно это все-еще лучший онлайн шутер.     Not a match goes by where hackers are not present. 161:10 K/D are absolutely normal there. The game is not protected by any cheat protection. Neither by Punkbuster nor by Easy Anticheat.     This game just blows. The menus are terrible, loading times are unbearable (even with a PCIe 4.0 m.2 drive) and the addition of female soldiers completely throws you off and takes you out of the experience. It feels like a fortnite kids game with a bf skin.

    As the developers said themselves; “don’t buy it”. Good thing I got this game for free with my GPU purchase.

    This game for me is one of the best battlefields ive ever played. The negative review bombing afected the future development and i dont think that we will be seeing a red army update. As for the history - read books, there are tons of them- this is a videogame ispired by historical events not a ww2 documentary - and walking around with a chick medic is totaly my cup of tea.

    With patch 5.2 I can no longer recommend this game. They ignored the userbase and now the game is horrible. They did the same thing last year…

    The game is unbalanced and some features don't make sense at all. Challenges are ripetitive and may take a long time to acheive, thus being boring.

    Battlefield 5 is a betrayal. DICE has betrayed us - the Battlefield game title community. This is the worst Battlefield game ever, after which I no longer believe (although I want to believe) in the return of the Battlefield game series. I've been playing the Battlefield series since 2003. I played over 10,000 hours in total.

    This game makes my PC loud despite me having an i5 9th gen and an rtx 2070 with 16gb of ram. If I run it at low my pc is still loud. The graphics is probably the thing making my pc loud. Its like this game wants you to get the worlds fastest pc to play it.

    This game doesn't claim to be reliable in terms of history, but it must not affect the score! It's well written, well designed, and has a nice multiplayer. Sadly that the campaign was so short though.

    Unbalanced, repetitive and frankly speaking just plain boring Battlefield. Comparing to ones like Battlefield 2, Bad Company 2 or Battlefield 3 it is just worse.

    I've put lot of hours into BF4 and BF1 and I have to say BF V's multiplayer is worth the money, especially if you consider that all the future content will be for free. I love the fortification system, I think it gives you a lot of advantage in Grand Operations. Progression system, attrition system and also weapon customization are great. I love the change that there is no spotting, so now the gameplay is more strategic than in BF1 and BF4. You really have to think twice which way to go and always use some cover. Otherwise you don't have much chance.
    Single player mode I only tried for 10-15 minutes, but I realized its not for me at all, but I didn't buy the game for that so I don't really care about it.    … Expand

    I spent thousand of hours in BF3,
    BF4 was great but I didnt enjoyed as much.
    BF1 was a no-go for me and still feels like a low quality shooter. BF5 had a very rough start but damn the animation and gameplay kept me playing it. I also met people like in BF3 I felt like a deeper connection with my squad than in the previous BF games maybe the feeling that someone is risking his in-game    I spent thousand of hours in BF3,
    BF4 was great but I didnt enjoyed as much.

    Apparently you need some time to get into to game, when I showed it to some friends which are used to other shooters, they kept dying and therefore didn't enjoyed it that much.
    But pls don't let the negative reviews influence your interest.

    This game is unfinished and I hate EA for stopping support, I think this game had potential to be a good battlefield game, and it actually is fun to play. I wouldn't buy is for its original price second time, but for less than 20USD it's worth it.

    And then the singleplayers campaign. Holy cow. It is full of bugs even afters years. I had to restart some missions multiple times to unstuck myself or NPCs.
    No No No. Then i rage quit and uninstalled the game.
    The last amazing battlefield was Battlefield Bad Company 2 & Battiefield 2142 was refreshing but both were too successful so they never did a Sequel. BF 3 trash, BF 4 trash, BF 5 trash.
    The only good thing is that i got a refund even after like 10 hours playing.    … Expand

    Los errores principales: - Lo mismo que Battlefield 1 pero esta vez aún más desafiante y marcado (algo que les terminó costando caro): Agenda de "diversidad e igualdad" que lo expresan no sólo en la portada (la portada debe ser representativo del acontecimiento, pero de nuevo pusieron a una minoría como la mujer en la 2ª Guerra Mundial) sino también en todo el juego... De manera irreal se ve a veces hasta más cantidad de mujeres y negros que de nazis blancos arios... Insólito - Multijugador decepcionante: Los mapas son mediocres y todo lo que es diversidad de armas (esta era importante y no lo otro) es flojo. - Mismo error que Battlefield 1: Campaña muy mala con mini historias de fascículo, cortas, con imprecisión histórica y desperdicio de la temática de la 2ª Guerra Mundial. Parece que para EA y Dice está mal ser blanco, rubio y ario, que hay que meter mujeres y negros en esos lugares (claramente, una bajada de línea). Les creería, pero es la 2ª vez consecutiva que lo hacen. - Censura de símbolos históricos de la Guerra como la de los nazis. Guste o no, forman parte de nuestra historia. -Battle Royale muerto.

    En fin, el mayor pecado de este juego es tener escaso contendido. A las 10 horas ya no sabía qué hacer, se hace repetitivo y aburrido. La campaña es ultra decepcionante.
    Calificación de juego: 4.5. Calificación por politización, campaña de "igualdad y diversidad" en acontecimientos donde no hay lugar a eso, y falta de respeto a la Segunda Guerra Mundial: 2.
    Edito: Recomiendo Call of Duty WWII en su lugar que narra mejor los hechos de la Guerra Mundial, aunque igual no llega a ser épico como uno espera de una temática así, pero algo es algo.    … Expand

    - Random women screaming on the battlefield, I would've understood it if they were Russian soldiers, but German and British women soldiers screaming is kinda annoying and really-really out of place.
    - The game's teaser is really stupid (Steampunk styled WW2? Ridiculous)

    6/10. The game itself is not bad, after the Pacific update (It actually felt like WW2), they had a good foundation to move on forward, but DICE is no longer supporting BFV. It's a shame because if we would've gotten the Eastern Front, the game could've been much better.    … Expand

    If you want play BfV online then don't buy the game. Because every server is full of hackers and never been banned they are reached 120 level. Waste of time and money.

    The main story worse then Battlefield 1. Gameplay is better then Battlefield 1. But you can enjoy in multiplayer if you play with roleplay.

    Played on highest end PC in September 2020 and it still has horrible bugs. cutscenes jump oddly, I get stuck in maps often, weird bugs of NOCS and this is just the campaign!!! Throw in the new shiny BLM load screen and meh. I really wanted to like this game but it’s a hot mess with terrible QC

    When you but a game for 60 bucks you expect it to work. battlefield 5 has only given me headaches every time I play I have to redo the start mission then I have a 50-50 chance of the game connecting to the servers. when it can't connect I get no information on why just says it can't. I don't know about you, but when I think about WW2 I think of Normandy, Iwo Jima (I know there's a map), and cities being destroyed. The game also uses extremely generic names for weapons and makes you want to do nothing more than uninstall...

    I just bought this game for $15. Not even at that price, I can say it's worth. This game is total trash. Battlefield used to be realistic and immersive. Now I feel it is pretty much the same game as the competition. There were also lots of bugs and there is a very small difference between BF1 and BFV. I feel they redid the menus, player skins, added a few maps and a couple of single player missions (which are total garbage compared to BF1) and sell it as a new game. They did the same thing they do every year with FIFA. All of the above would have been fine if they would have kept their promises to build this game as a platform. The Soviet Union (I'm not a fan of Soviets, quite the opposite, but I'm being objective here) had the most casualties (both military and civilians) and they were and integral part in winning the European war but they aren't even part of this game. They gave us a shell of a game, not historically accurate, a lot of unfulfilled promises and a big bag of bugs to endure. For all of the above this gets a 3/10 in my book.… Expand

    Visually the game is as great as Battlefield 1 and plays very much the same except multiplayer has had many changes to create more of a general challenge to normal playstyles, while creating a more of a demand for squad diversity of classes to succeed.

    Don't buy this game so you don't fund companies who call their fan base 'uneducated' for pointing out the obvious lies, women didn't server on the front lines in anywhere near the number of men that were fighting and they certainly didn't let men or woman with prophetic arms fight and those handicapped people with missing arms certainly couldn't fire rifles effectively so they would be a liability, and DICE say its 'authentic'.    … Expand

The customization of guns and vehicles feels lacking compared to games like Battlefield 4, even if it is a step up from Battlefield 1. Battlefield V introduces skill trees, an interesting concept, but simply not enough to satisfy most Battlefield players' need for customization. There's typically about 3 scopes per gun, and skill trees are just a minor decision between hip fire and scoped accuracy for guns, or a few different weapons for vehicles.

    Battlefield V's maps are visually stunning, as expected from any Dice-EA game, but again fall victim to the limitations of the time period. The open nature almost every single map makes it almost impossible to play even a single game without getting absolutely dominated by a vehicle. Planes and tanks reign supreme, even numerous attempts to balance them. Most guns are almost useless at range, leading to a sniperfest, especially on modes like breakthrough. The best maps in the game are easily the Pacific add-ons, including Iwo Jima, Wake Island, Solomon Islands, and Pacific Storm. These game modes are best played on their original Breakthrough, but are still interesting on Conquest. Arguably the best original contender for best map is the most closed and urban one, the Dutch city of Rotterdam. As of now, support has been completely ended on Battlefield V as focus, and hope for the series, is placed on Battlefield 6.

    Singleplayer: Just like Battlefield 1, war stories make their return in Battlefield V. They're an interesting idea, but just like Battlefield 1 they make the campaign feel incomplete as a whole. Hopefully, Battlefield 6 will see a return to a more classic style of campaign. Overall, the Battlefield V war stories have interesting concepts, but forgettable stories and gameplay. Each war story feels too similar to the last, leading to a somewhat uninteresting campaign as a whole.    … Expand

Long story short: this is the least enjoyable, most frustrating, most unbalanced, most painful-to-play multiplayer game with the worst singleplayer I have ever bought and played.     As far as the changes to multiplayer go, the attrition system is just an awul design decision and completely ruins the ability of someone to play alone in a squad of random players. Don't have any real life friends who play battlefield? Tough tiddies then, the game will hang you out to dry.

    The fortification system is like a building simulator for 5 year olds. The most boring part of a battlefield game in 16 years of the series. AIn't no one gonna be doing that DICE who has even the slightest interest in an actual "first person shooter" hint; the clue is in the name "shooter".

    The enemy players are almost completely invisible unless you have bionic eyes, and especially once you start shooting at then or they start shooting at you. There are no "feels" in the gameplay whatsoever when you can't make out a target and as such the core gameplay feels completely soulless. It's a complete camp-fest with no one able to move anywhere and the person who just snaps first due to lack of patience (or boredom) and dares to walk somewhere into the open gets inst-killed by someone laid prone 5 miles away. What great gameplay. /s Gone are the tactical map layouts with interesting lanes and cover. Let me guess..... I'm supposed to be fortifying, right? Yeah, you can keep that boring crap.

    The audio, which is normally a trademark of DICE quality, is absolutely garbage and sounds like it has been done by an indie dev team on extremely low budget. Especially the weapon sounds and the environmental sounds of footsteps and bullets landing near you. There is ZERO atmosphere in the game.

    I don't know why everyone praises the graphics, DICE like to tank your framerate alright, as they load more and more graphical processes into each new game in the series, but they forget that good graphics also need good art, good visibility and good aesthetic design that is CAREFULLY CONSIDERED FOR THE TYPE OF GAME IT IS, and this game just looks like a big ugly mess that you can't see sweet FA in with a forced crappy Anti-Aliasing method blurring everything further. In a first person shooter! There's a reason why CS:GO, Fortnite and other games with technically "low quality" graphics are the most played shooters - tip, it helps to bloody see what you are doing!

    I played for a month on EA access, but I cancelled it now and have not bought the game, first one in 16 years. RIP Battlefield, RIP the DICE that I once knew.    … Expand

It's basically a rehash of Battlefield 1 but if you're wanting some customization, don't expect it. Don't buy the game. if you've got Origin access and fancy a go, go for it, but otherwise save your money

    They promised this was going to be a king of Battlefield 1942 remake and the ultimate WWII experience. Guess what? They left us with half the game and moved on to make the next BF. No Normandy, no nothing, just half the **** with constant **** of the gameplay in horrid updates. They abandoned and robbed us. I'll never buy anything from DICE again.

    Take the skins for example, nothing knocks you out of immersion faster than getting killed by a guy that looks like he came straight out of phantom of the opera. Or the steampunk like gasmask skins...they're just ridiculous. And dont even get me started on running into a japanese woman on provence ... i mean, come on, its just absurd. Im not expecting 100% historical accuracy from a battlefield game. BF1 did this right, it felt authentic and real. The maps are just bland, there are a couple of good ones but none are really memorable. The only one that really stands out is Iwo Jima, that ones amazing but everything else is garbage. Its a damn WW2 shooter, give us WW2 location not these nondescript generic locations nobody cares about.

    Next up the clunky menu and "progression", more absurdity.
    Every tank for every single faction has a different progression tree. So you may level your Tiger Tank specs to max but still sit at 1 for the Churchill. Not to mention the vehicle progression creating a SERIOUS handicap for new players. You run into somebody with the exact same tank and engage in 1v1 you will loose and theres nothing you can do about it except run. This, to some extent, also holds true for infantry.
    The customization is super clunky just like the entire menu system.

    Gunplay
    Oh gunplay...What baffles me about BF5 is how they could get it so utterly wrong after achieving almost perfection in BF1. The guns in BF5 feel like paintball guns. That starts with the sound and ends with the damage they do. They just dont feel right, or powerful.

    Planes
    Lets get one thing straight, planes in BF1 were OP as hell, against a competent pilot the only thing that could get him out of the sky was another competent pilot in a fighter. going 50-1 in the attack plane was way too easy. That being said, in BF5 they went the exact opposite way where planes just feel like a total joke. Again, they lack gravitas and just dont feel impactful. And the planes are where the progression system hurts most, the difference between a fully specced plane and one without specs is tremendous and makes for an extremely frustrating experience for new players.

    Overall it feels like a design by committee game where they took some ideas that somebody thought were a good idea on paper and just threw them together and came up with this mess, I doesnt feel like a passion project but more along the lines of "OK, EA says we have to make another battlefield now so might as well get to it". I'm not even gonna get into the whole "alternate" history thing...

    Maybe for the next one DICE/EA should actually listen to the gamers and not the managers who try to pander to a crowd that wont play the game to begin with.

    Funny annecdote here, i havent played a CoD game since World at War but the combat in warzone actually feels a lot more battlefield like than BF5 does, try wrapping your head around that.    … Expand

    Motivo 1 - Battlefield 5 com aviões dominantes: Dois times com aviões um ignorando o outro e usando o veículo com um único objetivo, o de tacar bomba na cabeça dos pelotões. Tem piloto saindo de rodada com 100-0 ou 150-0 em alguns mapas que permitem    Eu particularmente estou voltando do "Battlefield V" para o "Battlefield 1". E (mesmo que uns não gostem deles) eu citarei os motivos:

    Motivo 1 - Battlefield 5 com aviões dominantes: Dois times com aviões um ignorando o outro e usando o veículo com um único objetivo, o de tacar bomba na cabeça dos pelotões. Tem piloto saindo de rodada com 100-0 ou 150-0 em alguns mapas que permitem aviões bombardeiros. As "anti-aéreas" nem fazem cócegas neles e tem limite de distância, sendo que o avião pode facilmente se recuperar e se consertar no ar! Sem falar os clãs que estão marcando os pelotões com o avião, sinalizadores ficam mais altos e dificilmente são destruídos!

    Motivo 2 - O jogo tá lotado de trapaceiros, pessoas utilizando programinhas para facilitar o jogo. E são esses trapaceiros com "k/d" altos que são os mais cobiçados e se engajam para carregar outros jogadores em clãs. Infelizmente de cada 10 clãs eu reconheci uns 9 tem pelo menos 2-3 cara jogando com trapaça lá, ou mais! (Para seu time conseguir algum sucesso, é preciso pelo menos uns 10-20 jogadores "rushando" de uma vez o mapa todo e tomando todas as bandeiras. Pois nenhum trapaceiro nunca vai querer bater de frente com "5 ou mais" jogadores, e nem vai!

    Motivo 3 - Pontuação pelo conceituadíssimo "Open critic": Battlefield 1 (96%) / Battlefield V (74%).

    Motivo 4 - Estou ainda esperando uma atualização com a "FEB" e sua notável luta na "batalha de Monte Castello". O famoso "Dia D" americano na Normandia. E não esse compilado na ilha japonesa, a "batalha de Iwo Jima" (dos EUA contra o Japão.). Seria mais bonito se focassem nas batalhas principais, "Pearl Harbour" (poderia ter sido colocado no "modo história", no jogo.). Cadê a participação da Rússia também na guerra? Eles não poderiam inventar uma guerra entre Grã Bretanha e Alemanha com barcos, aviões e submarinos? Poderia! São tantas coisas que estão deixadas de lado para se criar um jogo sobre a famosa 2ª Guerra mundial.

    Motivo 5 - Esse pessoal (haters) que ficam ofendidinhos com tudo que postamos no fórum e vivem imitando gato roco, só "mimimi". Esses que vivem tomando toddynho dentro de clazinhos abarrotados de menininhos valentinhos e não fazem nada na vida, papai paga até mensalidade da escola e fala de boca cheia que é bom jogador. Eu até concordo! No caso daqueles que despendem o dia todo da vida sem fazer nenhuma coisa além de jogar o mesmo jogo o dia inteiro.     Bom, enquanto sou eu que pago as minhas contas e não ofendi ninguém de tudo o que disse aqui no fórum além das crianças que se sentiram ofendidinhas porque fazem coisa errada no jogo só tenho uma coisa para dizer: Segundo o site PEGI (Pan European Game Information), o jogo "Battlefield V" é recomendado por nada menos que pessoas com 16 anos ou mais.

    Ну и о графоне: порой картинка отличная, правда. Но в первой же миссии каша из пикселей вместо снега и контраст такой что сам снег выглядит как блевотня снежного мамонта. Контрастный настолько, что кажется буд-то действие происходит на луне (типа нет других источников освящения). Настолько он какой-то кашеобразно-слизкий... этот снег буд-то переварили и высрали. И это на ультрах!!!

    1.5 years of beta-testing. still no optimization (on gtx970 and i7 6700 cant rich 60fps on low settings 1080p). Still no fractions (no Allies of World War II). No maps (only unknown places like a "some bridge", "some mountain", and Metro + IwoJima + Wake Islands). No balance.
    And now we finding it "out of support this summer". I need refund.

    • unfinished and only released in christmas period 12/2018 in order to fill EA's pockets

    This was the last time I believed massmedia magazines and "blind"buy a game from EA/DICE. Bought this in december 2018 for 50€, 2 weeks later the price had been reduced to 25€. The game is completly unfinished, broken, has a giant lack of content and the worst thing is, that it just isnt fun. No atmosphere, no "battlefield-feeling" at all. While BF 1 put me in the year 1914, this could take part at any time of modern history, the lack of a "WW2-feeling" is present at any time, I feel like I'm in some sort of CoD alternative WW2 dimension. The game's only released that early cause of their greed, not even now in October 2019 the game is ready. Every magazine rating this crap higher than 70 is corrupt, nothing else to say here, just do not believe any of their fake reviews. After 1 year of release the game doesnt even contain the Soviet Union and they call it a World War 2 game and gaming-magazines rate it 85/100, i mean really?
    Waste of time, waste of money, gonna stick to BF1. 1/10 from me for the graphics.

    Edit: its 04/2020 and they canceled "support" after adding only 2 more fractions. The game is still unfinished and will be unfinished, big time betrayal. Again: all fractions had to be available at launch or shortly after release! In the first place, I gave this game 1/10, but after this, I will even remove this point.    … Expand

    There is no need to buy. F**KING DICE abandoned the players. No chapter 7, no new maps, no CCCP ARMY, no US ARMY in EUROPIAN FRONT etc. Enlisted is much more better than F**KING BFV.

Сомнительное решение ну да ладно. Теперь челиков нельзя пометить, теперь снайперы могут не вылазить со своих точек отстреливая кучу врагов, и пулеметчики лежащие в углах. Сомнительное решение добавить отдельные пулеметы под названием универсальные, но универсальными они не являются т.к с ними надо играть только на сошках, ибо стоя вы даже в нескольких метрах с трудом попадете в него. Штурм почему то убрали. Понравилась специализация ствола, по типу прокачи ствола можно выбрать с каким стилем играть, увеличить скорострельность или понизить отдачу и т.п. Так же и с техникой. Карты отстойные, из ванильных карт только 3 нормальные. Оптимизация ужасная, с моим железом каким-то образом игра то лагает, то не лагает. Одиночку не стал проходить, она не особо интересная. Обещали в сентябре амереканцев, только метро добавили. Вообщем все будет, но ПОТОМ. А да и кстате баттрояль гавно, но зона прикольно сжигается. Теперь еще поддержку отменили, молодцы, а я думал что увижу восточный фронт… Expand

    garbage game. you get killed in less than 1 second. wait 15 seconds to respawn. respawn again and get killed in 1 second. wish I could refund this game but I cant cos its not steam based.

    Being a fan of the Battlefield saga, and after the disaster of Battlefield 1, i initially felt hyped about this game. Now that I've played it extensively i truly feel betrayed by DICE. Now i wanted to adress some of my opinions on this game:

    - Yes, DICE wanted the game to feel realistic and in some ways, it does. Graphics and Sounds are amazing, as they usually are in this saga, but the    Being a fan of the Battlefield saga, and after the disaster of Battlefield 1, i initially felt hyped about this game. Now that I've played it extensively i truly feel betrayed by DICE. Now i wanted to adress some of my opinions on this game:

    - Yes, DICE wanted the game to feel realistic and in some ways, it does. Graphics and Sounds are amazing, as they usually are in this saga, but the inclusion of Women as front soldiers and guns that never actually made it to the front kinda defeats the point. On top of that, the fact that soviets are not included in the game is straight out outrageous, considering they are the ones who actually won the war, not the americans, nor the british.
    - The Game is crippled with bugs, from graphics to terrains, and especially matchmaking. The quick play button gives you about 50% chance of joining a half empty game, and there is almost no map or game mode diversity on most servers. Even then matches are very often completely unbalanced and just end up frustrating players who end up leaving.
    - The GUI is one of the worst I've ever seen. For real. The "Play" menu is confusing, the "company" (where you equip) and "armory" (your inventory) are horrible and should be fused, the same goes for the "Chapter Rewards" and the "Asignments", as both are missions that gives you rewards.
    - Talking about rewards, the "Chapters" system is unfair, pay-to-win (even tho the game costs 40€ for the standard version) and unlocking any decent skin or gun demand an insane amount of dedication. More insane is the fact that most decent guns where part of chapters, so if you didn't play during that time, well you gotta pay or you ain't getting it.
    - The accessories are basically skins, and the sights are unlocked from the beginning (which is stupid), and the only real customization is the specializations which are few and don't give the player any sense of progress. Not even talking about the absence of a free camera to look at your gun.
    - The vehicles are few, so almost never available, overpowered and the infantry has almost no way of fighting them.
    - The classes that worked amazingly in BF3 and BF4 (Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon) are now pointless kits for you to choose between SMGs, Semi Rifles, Machine Guns/Shotguns or Bolt Action Rifles and give absolutely no incentive on Teamwork or cooperation. Good luck getting healed by the occasional helpful medic.

    In conclusion the game dynamics are not bad, even tho it feels more of a big map CoD rather than a true Battlefield, but the game is completely let down by a shady EA monetization system, truly horrible game design and a complete lack of will by DICE to fix the issues and include the content that should have been there since the beginning. As a casual run&shoot game, i'm not saying you can't have fun, but as a 2018 triple-A, serious shooter this is simply unacceptable. As a long time Battlefield fan i cannot recommend anyone to buy this game, and as long as DICE and EA keep pulling out this kind of garbage i do not see why anyone should support them.    … Expand

    This game is bad. After nearly a year and a half, it still has game breaking bugs and a drip feed of content. DICE has clearly lost their way, and I don't think EA is all to blame - There are game play decisions that simply don't make sense. BF as we knew it is completely dead. This is a mix up of the worst of BF and COD in one package.

    It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

    A great World War II shooter that will grow and improve. Do not buy the game because of its singleplayer, but if you consider the campaign a bonus to the multiplayer, you will be satisfied. [Issue#291]
