    I've not played that game a lot. I've struggling with the netcode issues the whole time. I have to say i never felt so disappointed by a game i had pre-order 4 months in advance. Being a hardcore fan of the franchise i genuinely felt let down by Dice and EA. The biggest surprise i had came from the fact that the netcode was fixed in June. 8 months after the release of the game. You guysI've not played that game a lot. I've struggling with the netcode issues the whole time. I have to say i never felt so disappointed by a game i had pre-order 4 months in advance. Being a hardcore fan of the franchise i genuinely felt let down by Dice and EA. The biggest surprise i had came from the fact that the netcode was fixed in June. 8 months after the release of the game.     DICE stuck to their roots with Battlefield 4. The game felt like a pretty fresh experience, at least for an FPS, that was until I realised how unfinished the game is.

    First, this game is flawed. The gameplay is good, the maps are very hit and miss, but generally very enjoyable and the graphics are very nice. However, DICE have thrown the game out into the public with a lot of broken    DICE stuck to their roots with Battlefield 4. The game felt like a pretty fresh experience, at least for an FPS, that was until I realised how unfinished the game is.

    First, this game is flawed. The gameplay is good, the maps are very hit and miss, but generally very enjoyable and the graphics are very nice. However, DICE have thrown the game out into the public with a lot of broken strings that, even after 14 months after release, still haven't bothered to fix. Instead, they decide to waste time whining on how EA robbed them while releasing mediocre DLC's that most people do not care for. This game is technically good and my negative views on it may be seen as nit-picking, but trust me, it is not. Many times I have had to give up playing due to problems that have overly complicated fixes that numerous purchasers have become victim to.

    Despite this, the game is pretty much everything it looks on the outside. Its your typical addicting, eye candy military shooter. I admit that I didn't play the campaign but after Battlefield 3 it was clear where the ambition was, which is the multiplayer. If you know anything about modern FPS game's you probably know how the successful Battlefield formula works. Each map has typically about 32 to 64 slots, depending on the gamemode. The most popular gamemode is the conquest gamemode where two opposing sides must hold as different points of the map as they can to decrease the amount of tickets lost, the first team to reach 0 tickets loses. The maps are large and look stunning. As previously mentioned the map designs are very hit and miss. Some maps are very well designed, such as the brilliant Siege of Shanghai, a typical city map separated by the incredibly large and well designed skyscraper in the middle. This maps standouts out as it accomplishes the feeling of challenge when trying to capture or defend each point, all of which are very well designed. However, even this map if flawed after the skycraper falls as a 'levelution' which definitely was a poor design choice. The desert/warehouse setting of Zavod is also an excellent map which held some of my most intense and fondest moments of playing these games. These aside, BF4 suffers from a lot of poor map design, ranging from the messy and incomplete Hainan Resort to the claustrophobic and dull Operation Locker. The maps really don't balance out and the brilliant maps do not make up for the embarrassingly shocking ones.

    The new content is also limited. Not much feels new, this may be a bit unfair since I did not play Battlefield 3 that much, but I felt as though I wasn't getting my $90 worth playing it. This point feels a bit unfair as it's pretty much what's expected for a sequel to a successful multiplayer FPS but its jump from its predecessor feels small compared to what BF3 did from BF2.

    As negative as this review may feel, I actually had quite a blast playing this game. It definitely won't a game I see myself coming back to in the near future but it served it purpose well in delivery a fast paced, gorgeous FPS that I can see fans enjoying. For me however, the games bugs and numerous problems make the game more frustrating than it should be.    … Expand

    Reading most of the reviews for BF4 PC, I found myself questioning whether I wanted to purchase this game or not. The Black Friday sale made up my mind and I purchased the game premium package for a margin of its original value. I usually find Metacritic reviews to be pretty accurate but in this case they couldn't be further from the truth. BF4 isn't only good its amazing. The graphicsReading most of the reviews for BF4 PC, I found myself questioning whether I wanted to purchase this game or not. The graphics create a beautiful realistic world and the frost 3 engine lets you destroy it. Obviously, I'm speaking of the multiplayer, the campaign is a different "story" if you can call it that.

    The largest complaint I can muster is the campaign. It is clear that Dice gave little of the budget to this team of developers. The campaign is so poorly structured that you can go through most of the story not even completely knowing why you doing what your doing. The missions are short and extremely easy. However, The graphics like the multiplayer are awesome. Like every BF game, the sound effects are top notch. Another common point made by some of our home office critics is the buggy multiplayer. For anyone who has been around BF for a while this shouldn't be a surprise. In fact, every single BF ever released has had the same issues. These issues are annoying but are usually fixed in a timely manner. As far as servers are concerned, you can't blame dice for faulty servers. These are publicly made and dice has little control over the quality. Really, its up to use the players to screen the servers before we join. In other words, if the server status is dodgy then maybe you should try a different one.

    I know I raved about this game, however I can't see a rating higher then a 8. The campaign is the real buzz kill and Dice should either produce quality or do away with this feature all together. Personally, I'll pay just as much for a multiplayer only.    … Expand

    Alright, so here goes nothing. I have played Battlefield games for a long time, and I have always thought of them as decent games, but Medal of Honor games were still my go to games. Well, after EA ruined the games, I decided to give Battlefield a go again with Battlefield 3. So I played it, and it was absolutely horrible. I couldn't figure anything out, I was horrible with vehicles,Alright, so here goes nothing. I couldn't figure anything out, I was horrible with vehicles, particularly air vehicles, and I got sick of it, so I bought Black Ops and started playing that and eventually I got sick of it so I decided to give Battlefield 3 another go. I tried the campaign this time, it was pretty great (to me, atleast), I mean, the gunplay and overall gameplay was boring and had no replayability, but I absolutely loved the story. I eventually got the hang of multiplayer, and played it nonstop for a long, long time. Then eventually I started getting sick of the AEK noobs and glitches so I went over to Black Ops 2, and then I heard about Battlefield 4. I got money to get a PC to get the game to have awesome graphics and such, and preordered the game. Since I didn't finish my PC yet though, I played the beta on the Xbox, and let me tell you, that was the worst broken piece of garbage I have ever played. So I was hesitant to start playing this game, so I played the campaign first. The gameplay was MUCH better then BF3s, and it still had a pretty great storyline, despite only taking a day to finish. Then I got to multiplayer, and I really enjoy it. Also people, THE GAME ISN'T ABOUT LEVOLUTION, DICE SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT. It is only a tool in the game, just something to change things up.... Anyways, I really do enjoy it, but I hate that EA is ruining another great game. Let them fix the dang game PLEASE... It is great when it isn't broken, so expect crap until a couple of months down the road. I think this game will end up like BF3 for me, where I won't really enjoy it until a while down when I start getting the hang of it.

    I give battlefield 4 a 8 out of 10. I really enjoyed the game, the single player was just too short. The multiplier I found was very enjoyable to me. If you can get around that fact of the occasional crashes I would highly recommend it.

    If you like previous Battlefield games but also appreciate some of the fast paced, close quarters combat of the CS/CoD franchises, this is the game for you. I have played every Battlefield (save BF3) and while the map designs took some getting used to they are a ton of fun. Vehicles still play a prominent role as in all other BF titles and they are for the most part all well done, plus ifIf you like previous Battlefield games but also appreciate some of the fast paced, close quarters combat of the CS/CoD franchises, this is the game for you. I have played every Battlefield (save BF3) and while the map designs took some getting used to they are a ton of fun. Vehicles still play a prominent role as in all other BF titles and they are for the most part all well done, plus if you decide to play mostly as infantry you'll enjoy yourself as well.

    I love the weapon upgrade system as it lets you make real, meaningful changes to your weapon. The wide variety of optics and muzzle/grip enhancements allow you to tailor any weapon to your style of play. The amount of customization in this game can seem overwhelming at first but you'll quickly learn what gadgets support what you want to do in game.

    The singleplayer, however, is terrible. Poor depiction of military, unrealistic/stupid actions by NPCs, and a story I struggled to care about: buy this purely for the multiplayer. And if you get it buy the Premium addon too. The map packs are great!    … Expand

    A huge fan of Battlefield franchise is frustrated from Battlefield 4 speaking to his heart. I couldn't encounter perfect applies of the previous Battlefields. Battlefield 4 contains technical problems-bugs, poor service, mechanics cannot fit to Battlefield 4's benefits.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. BF4 has been out three months and there has been some improvement although many serious issues remain after several patches from EA. The game doesn't crash nearly as often (but it still crashes). Lag and stuttering have been reduced too although not eliminated. The audio no longer suddenly disappears on certain maps. However many core problems remain, e.g. what you see and what your opponent sees not being in sync, leading to many outraged comments by players about being "shot around corners". Of course EA (and this game's developer, DICE) couldn't fix a sandwich without breaking the whole kitchen, and every patch has fixed some things while breaking others. There was a bug where players you had clearly shot still showed 100% health when they spun around and killed you. Now, they instead show 0% health, making it look as if you were just killed by a dead player (leading to much yelling and screaming in the game's text chat). There has been so much angry commentary from disappointed Battlefield players that it got the attention of the mainstream media leading to EA's stock price taking a hit. EA has also ordered DICE to suspend work on expansion packs for BF4 and get all their programmers working on fixing bugs, but there are so many bugs, and I wonder if some of them really cannot be fixed because the basic structure of the game contains hopeless flaws. EA has actually been issuing refunds to some purchasers of BF4 provided they hadn't played many hours (many of them could not play at all).

    So, while BF4 has been partially repaired it is still a coin toss if you will find it an enjoyable game or an experience more irritating then entertaining. I know several people with new fire-breathing gaming computers who have just as much trouble running BF4 as those of us using less powerful machines. So be warned; while BF4 is terrific when it is working and shows huge potential, it is still a buggy and annoying product needing a lot of work. If you haven't bought it yet you are probably better off waiting awhile to see how far the repair work gets (and how much EA drops the price) because Battlefield 4 still has some serious problems.    … Expand

    Battlefield 4 has an awesome Multiplayer but it's not as good as Battlefield 3. It has great Graphics but the Campaign is **** because EA just produced the Game for the Multiplayer. Of course, the Multiplayer is great but next time they should really make a better Story! Anyway it's a great game but as i said, not as good as Battlefield 3 in my Opinion.

    The game launch was pretty bad as many have said. The game also has new bugs with every update. With all that said, this is my favorite military shooter. No one else is making a game with this size and scope. I've heard Planetside but it didn't seem as polished and fun.

    Tanks, boats, jets, mobile AA, helicopters and many players populate massive maps that dwarfs any other shooter.    The game launch was pretty bad as many have said.     Good points: Fun, challenging, lots of maps, destructive environment and weapon/vehicle selection good.
    Bad points: Lack of variety in game modes during online play, still buggy, can't see much progress since BF3.
    Overall an enjoyable experience but still much of the same.

    I beta tested Battlefield 4, so i know about almost every glitch that the game has had, it took me almost 2 days to get the game stable enough to play. Because of this I was sketchy about getting the game altogether, that and also the reviews about how messed up the game is. However, I just recently purchased the game and I am happy to announce that the game is now working very well.     Everything is fine , eccept GLITCHES and CRASHES on PC.
    It's the worst thing in this game.
    And i don't like the "premium" option , it's like a season pass.
    What ever. a good game. But not has good then Battlefield 3.

The atmosphere is beautiful, not as good as the trailers made it out to be, but i can live with it. And its still much better than the third game, which always made me feel like having a sudden faint on a painfully bright summer day. Love the new cover mechanic, very usefull in tight corner situations, makes operation metro actually playable. The game constantly keeps you on your toes, 9 minutes each team deathmach makes the game easy to just pick upp and play 30 minutes before going to work

    The Negtatives:

    I absolutely HATE the constant crashes on dawnbraker, its simply a disaster thet these ones still happens 6 MONTHS AFTER ITS RELEASE!. But most of the negative aspects for me rests on the fact that this game underdelivers, considering its heritage. For example, (and this was a problem in the third game as well). The maps arent realy that big. Remember Bandar Desert in Battlefield 3? It was said to be the biggest map in battlefield history. My main point is, that that should be the OVERALL size of ALL the maps in both these games. Where did the MASSIVE areas that Battlefield 1942 gave us go? The game is called Battlefield! So where is the battleFIELDS?! On top of that, the conquests are way to short. A conquest lasts most times only 15 minutes. 15 MINUTES! What the hell! A Battlefield 1942 game could clock into over 40 minutes. A big letdown to those who hoped that the grapical wonders of this new game would go with the franchise an actually improve the game on all aspects

    This game is still a great shooter game. Its still fun to play. The weapons feels better and most of the gameplay mechanics are an improvement from the third game. The downside is the crashes that should have been fixed long ago, preferable BEFORE RELEASE. The maps are small compared to the older games. The music is still a load of farting noices barely recembeling the epic trumpet of battlefield 1942. And the maps is still way to small to overcome the feeling that game gave us. I know it's bold to compare this with so much older games, but my point is that this game should not be outowned by the old battlefield 1942 i ANY AREAS. Overall, a good, unfortunately underwhelming, shooter that keeps you on your toes and never gets boring to play.

    PS: In the 5th game, i expect to be able to control SHIP CRUIZERS! Don't disapoint me.    … Expand

    the only problem are the DLC´s. You must have the Premium account to enjoy all maps. Why pay 2 times the same product ?

    Well, the price of the game still is very high for the real value, the graphics are oddly lower than Battlefield 3 ones, don't ask me why, and the scenarios and maps are not so detailed like in BF3, the loadings of the game are extremely long for no reason, and there are much more bugs in BF4, bugs that compromise the physics of the game, that are not so good too, the story is very simpleWell, the price of the game still is very high for the real value, the graphics are oddly lower than Battlefield 3 ones, don't ask me why, and the scenarios and maps are not so detailed like in BF3, the loadings of the game are extremely long for no reason, and there are much more bugs in BF4, bugs that compromise the physics of the game, that are not so good too, the story is very simple and direct with a short campaing of 4-5 hours, i personally liked the voice acting and the gameplay but the game leaves much to be desired, the game doesn't worth all the money that we paid, at least the developers are still trying to fix the game problems, some problems like the netcode have already been fixed.     Now EA and DICE have rolled out patch after patch, steadily the game is getting better but still, to be this far into the game and still to have some major problems? that's unacceptable. The one thing you will notice though, is that all of these problems are server based.

    If you can get beyond the inconsistencies of the game connection, there is still a lot of fun to be had. The graphics are as usual, brilliant, the audio through-out the game is incredible, seriously, play a game of large conquest with some headphones on, I guarantee you, you may soil yourself. OK maybe not, but you get the jist of it.

    I gave Battlefield a 6/10 for a reason. Had I done this review a few months back, the score would of been a lot lower and you could possibly say that I could return to this review in a few months and the game will be worth a higher rating. I seriously doubt you will be disappointed if you are a Battlefield fan and you have yet to pick this up, the game still give you hours of entertainment, even more if you get a group of friends on.

    For the first I'd say: this game has never been overpriced, not then it's on release - not for now. This is the only multiplayer shooter capable of giving you a huge doze of childish joy every time you play it! 100% worth playing!

I didn't think they could actually make something worse in this game than its predecessor. The best part about the campaign was the hit markers and scoring. This at least gave it an arcade style feel to a campaign which wasn't even worth playing. ItThis game is not the game we expected. The weapons and customization options were pretty good but it still feels the same. The gameplay didn't take too much of a step forward. Still, overall its a fun game and people should still be playing it a lot for now.… Expand

While the campaign was enjoyable, it felt more driven by gameplay, and fast-paced action, rather than story. And, in the end, I couldn't remember anyone's name, or how it even ended. However, I digress, as I know not everyone is quite as into the campaign as I am.

    As far as multiplayer goes, I have only a few complaints, the main one is level design. The maps in BF4 are great, but they aren't quite as memorable as some of the maps from BF3, like Caspian Border, and Kharg Island among others. However, others may feel differently, this is my personal opinion, anyway.

    Lastly, I feel one of the main problems with the game, even now, is the netcode. I am no expert in netcode, but when 95% of my kills/deaths are due to crossfire, and getting shot around corners, we have a problem. I think this is something that Dice really needs to focus on, as it really is a game-killer.

    Overall, I would've given BF4 a higher score, but I am already being pretty generous, considering the fact that EA pushed this game out early, even though it wasn't even finished. And even to this day, it features a wide array of issues, which could have been avoided, given a little bit of extra time.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I just started playing BF4 a few days ago and i can easily say BF4 is the better game. It is not BF 3.5 like some say. It has mayor improvements. It has been fine tuned. Better balance. BF3 had shi** weapon recoil/handling.
    I remember these situation in BF3 where you sneak up on your enemies. Then you go full out, and you can kill maybe 1 of you foes. Realistically you should take down at least three. In BF4 even in standard mode weapons feel more powerful. You can actually saw trough your enemies given the opportunity.

    Now the big one. The graphics are really on another level. Wow.. the detail, flora etc loke more realistic. It s better to use bushes, plants for cover in BF4 in a relistic way. Good maps for graphics impressions is the Floods map.. the water is Photorealistic. It cant get any better. The water physics. The murkyiness.

    Physics, since BF4 uses FB3 engine, the physics are better. Driving is way bettter. I couldn't ask for more from a military game. Shooting at destructable objects with your gun you can feel the difference aleady. Good stuff.
    The interface, Deploy map is way better. Since you have to spend quite some time in weapon customization etc. The menus are better now. In battle interfaces are more minimalistic, better design.

    If your system can handle it, BF4 is epic. (BF game played before BF3 premium, BF BC2, and Vietnam)

    I give BF 10 rating because it is the best BF, and the best online shooter i have played. (not that its soo perfect or anything)

    Critisisms on map design, under/overpowered weapons, game balance will be there for all games, including this one. But when your money buys you 20 plus months of intense internet multiplayer action, its bearable.

    This game was broken when it was first released. But now the netcode has been fixed so that hits register faster. It's starting to feel almost as smooth as CoD games when it comes to shooting. But better than CoD, on conquest this game is huge and relies on teamwork to win. There are tons of vehicles and a balanced team is really importance. For a good price you can get the full version (with all DLCs), Dice is still implementing new content like maps etc, I dont see any bugs anymore, all is working as it should. And its a lot of fun - much better then with BF3.     Coming from a long time Battlefield player, simply put, this is the best Battlefield ever made. It had a rough start because of crashing issues, but the actual game play is flat amazing. At this point you can ignore all of the early negativity because it doesn't apply anymore anyway. If you're a battlefield fan on the fence about getting this, its easily worth it. Great game.

Now you cant snipe guys with a controlled AR rifle. You now actually need a scope to engage at longer range.     No Capture the Flag mode by default :( Only with paid DLC can you get Capture the Flag, and this is the most fun mode in my opinion. Good game, taxing on computer so is a little laggy. In general, hard game I die quite a bit. Hard to get into on multiplayer, bleh will move to Guild Wars 2

I experience the long loading screens which takes somewhere around 1-3 mins. The worst part is the game breaking glitch which is when you join a match it disconnects you. The level/building destruction is nice but as it plays out in the gameplay mechanics is still not a main feature and offers mostly cinematic value. In a way this is balancing, but it still feels like there's not much point to leveling a building in BF 4.

    When it came out this game was a non functioning POS and even when it did function the servers would only update the clients 10 times a second which as it turns out is the worst thing you could do to a visceral FPS experience. EA titles should always be approached with caution knowing that their first priority is revenue and having a decent (or functioning) gaming experience is NOT a priority at all. The only reason it got fixed is because nobody would have bought their subsequent battlefield games if their last one was still broken 2 years after release.

    That said... today battlefield 4 is a polished functional and GOOD experience. The formula has been mostly graphically upgraded from BF 3 but the formula remains true. Unfortunately there has really not been enough innovation in modern mainstream video games to render this obsolete.

    So if you're looking for a FPS that involves large numbers of troops fighting as infantry and in vehicles, on good maps, includes some creative strategic thinking, with great graphics, and offers squad play as it's key dynamic its hard to go wrong with battlefield 4.

    The only thing to take note of is that you will encounter in almost any game, players who use cheats to see positions of other players. This is not the same as using the minimap. The most common type shows boxes around each enemy even behind walls and across the map. It is extremely obvious who these players are and often nothing is done about it. Because of this, I'm giving this game 1 point lower of a score. It cannot be overlooked however in the end it is not gamebreaking.    … Expand

    Map variation is OK, there are a lot of them and you certainly will find a couple which perfectly suit your style or preference.

    Graphics? Nothing too special, even though Shanghai tower falling looks really cool.

    Gameplay and stability? If you look back at the launch state, this game was absolute crap, as I was spending on average 10-15 minutes looking for the server which was not crashing. Moreover, **** net code was adding fuel to the flame confirming that EA pretty much does not care about quality of the product at the release state.

    As I am writing this review now most of the issues were fixed and there are loads of people playing this game, as it is far more attractive than BF Hardline and most of the people are tired of BF 3.

    So, If I was writing this review in 2013, I would give 1-3 just because how bad this game was, but after 2 years passed even bunch of crappy programers could manage fixing big issues, therefore leaving BF 4 at OK state, still with problems like reload bug and unbalanced weapons present.    … Expand

    This is a great game, and when i say a great game, i mean that it is one of the best online shooters i've played. You have to buy it, i have more than 180 hours in this game, 110 of which are without the seasson pack. Please, do yourself a favour and buy it for the love of god.

I personally do not experience any of the bugs people mention (using an i5 and radeon HD 7770), though i do experience the annoyingly long loading times. Also, the story doesn't get to me at all.     I got this game in 2014 , i was true what they say (bugs and more bugs),but with the time this game got fixed , and DICE added new maps and free DLCs .Now(December 2015) it costs around 5-10$ and the premium 30$ on G2A , IMO : NOW its a good game and its cheap , thx DICE and f*** you EA .

    Had a lots of fun on this game but unfortunately with new patches and 'fixes' comes new bugs. Further more 'net code' sucks from day one. There has been 'fixes' for 'net code' but actually they didn't fix anything. What they did is nerf weapons damage so when someone starts shooting at you, you'll be able to notice it but there is still that one shot death present despite nerfs.

    Era pra ser o melhor Battlefield já feito, infelizmente ele foi lançado com dezenas de bugs, a DICE demorou um tempo pra corrigi-los, e conseguiu, deu a volta por cima trazendo até DLC's grátis. Mas o jogo acabou ficando muito mexido, a equipe se perdeu em tantos updates e alterações de gameplays. Mas o jogo acabou ficando muito mexido, a equipe se perdeu em tantos updates e alterações de gameplays.     Battlefield 4 campaign is Siq!!
    The weapons are so bad ass, the story is ok and optimization is terrific.
    I have recently finished it and i did not encounter any bugs or optimization issues during the game!
    The pvp is better than the sp just like bf3 and i definitely recommend this game!

    Really fun game with an addictive multiplayer, while the campaign was a bit stale it completely made up with one of the most fluid multiplayer I have played. Though I may be a bit biased as i got the game after all the bugs and glitches were patched it still deserves the acclaim it got. The negativity were mostly about the bugs this game endured but now it's on the golden standard.

    BF4 has long since been fixed from it's horrible launch state. Given that this game is sometimes sold for $5 these days and the fact that its the best looking modern-era shooter you can buy, this is an absolute must own game.

    Years after the release it's still the best looking FPS game you can get. A big and loyal fun community with even up today a lot of servers and many players who play battlefield 4. The game is a musthave and worth every penny. I have purchased it lately in 2016 and already have about 400+ hours in BF4 and I'm still playing.

    Actually same with Battlefield 3. But Battlefield 3's singleplayer mod were better. I'm 81 level and the game is awesome. I love it. I broke 1 point because Singleplayer is really bad.

    Сначала о сюжетной компании: самые худшие "напарники" за всю историю шутеров, такого бреда я еще не видел нигде, если бы не пометил врагов и тем самым не отдал приказ (прожимать кнопку Q на протяжении всей игры), то эти идиоты будут просто сидеть и смотреть, даже если враг прямо перед ними, система будет игнорировать их, будто их и не существует, вот такие дела. Порадовала свобода, больше киношности, хоть какие нибудь напарники (более менее с характером), миссия на танке, стрельба, прокачка, сбор жетонов. В целом приятней и веселей чем трешка.
    На счет мультиплеера, если коротко: то много лишнего, практически во всем, много обвесов, которые дублируются или половина вообще не используется, да их приятно открывать, получать за них опыт, открывать очередной кейс, включать повышения опыта, которые просто без конца валятся, хотя до 100 ранга, можно прокачаться очень быстро, не сравнить с 3 частью. Не могу сказать где лучше стрельба, но вот в 4 если сравнивать стволы из 3, то кажется что как то легче, без отдачи, и вообще будто все слишком упростили, даже с пулемета, не нужно вещать рукоятку которая, ощутимо помогала в 3, здесь как то иначе все.    … Expand

    DICE, you are the best that did not remove support for x32 systems and left DirectX 10.1. I love this battles, the graphics are not bad, the physics is at the level, the optimization has not failed, the multiplayer is dynamic.

    The lowest point of the entire battlefield franchise. Battlefield 5 and Hardline were dodgy, but boy, if you want to see some truly awful game design, load up battlefield 4.

    Genuinely one of the worst genuine attempts at a video game I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through, buy a better video game, it's not hard at all.

    Tried this game with free month of origin acces i got and feel very happy i didnt trow mony on this.Tried 5-6 rounds of multiplayer and every single time got kicked out of server after 20 seconds of game,it is completly unplayable.Story is also meh nothing special.

    sometimes I play multiplayer, I can play for a couple of hours, the servers are still open, the company is also quite interesting, I don't seem to see cheaters, people play in the evening, the servers are full, the sounds of firing weapons are chic, actually better than some modern shooters, the graphics too very pleasant, the game is like fine wine, it better with age

Multiplayer is great but after a few hours a little bit more stereotypical than BF3. For me BF3 was better, it was something new in a serie with a beautiful visual and free gameplay, this seems like a poor cousin of BF3 and I don't now exactly why, maybeFirstly there was a surprise, at the the end the disapointment.     - total stupid AI in SP (for me the most retarded AI after Homefront)

    P.S. Don't buy it if you only want to play SP, better buy ArmA 3, Modern Warfare remastered if you want modern combat FPS.    … Expand

Да она о**енная, но слишком короткая, НУ СЛИИИШКОМ, я понимаю что основа игры это онлайн, но как же обидно что такая замечательная сюжетка так быстро кончается. Персонажи харизматичные, но в конце я плакал не из-за печальной концовки, А ИЗ-ЗА ТОГО ЧТО ИГРА ТАК БЫСТРО КОНЧИЛАСЬ, не ну Ханну (В моем случае) конечно жалко, но то что игра закончилась это еще грустнее... 22.11.2018… Expand

As of today, in 2019, with still a few thousand active players and after DICE LA (Danger Close) seemingly saved this game from the downfall that Sweden put it In, I'm very happy to announce that even to this day, the game is content rich and very fun to play, extremely balanced and nothing feels to awful on the multiplayer end, however, the single player is an insult to Kjell (Dice employee who passed. was ex military, the BF4 campaign had a song made for him). The story campaign wise makes little to no sense, has easy terminology such as "sailor, or "marine" mixed up on characters that are not those things, clearly has no clue how US Military works at all, cutscenes that are broken, sequences that fail to trigger and cause massive anger as these bugs are game breaking like when trying to kill the Helo in the first mission, many times it wont die, how BF3 story is more polished than this is beyond me, the campaign, though its acting was amazing, just felt lazy, example, when you leave china and are on the pontoon and irish is yelling for people to follow him, he tends to yell toward the front of the boat, implying people are there too, yet if you look, there's no ships or people there, like what the **** are you yelling at? it just feels out of place. The war they are in makes no sense, also how Chinese managed to take out a whole US fleet and none of these ships seemingly had any of there tech working or had any sort of comms because apparently EMP knocks out everything for 50km out to sea causing a fleet of 20 ships to go down to one, because it makes sense that top of the line military hardware including AA cant shoot down **** helo's or apparently nobody mans their stations... Even worse is the ending, DICE clearly has no clue how C4 works, also WHY THE HELL DID SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE WHEN THEY LEFT A RHIB BOAT RIGHT NEXT TO THEM WHERE THE C4 CHARGE WAS SUPPOSED TO SIT, LIKE DID DICE FORGET HOW THE "MARINES" ENDED UP GRAPPLED TO A BRIDGE??? NOBODY HAD TO DIE, ALSO C4 WOULD NOT KILL YOU IF YOU JUST ****ING SWAM LOW, ALSO SINCE WHEN DID C4 JUST BLOW UP DESTROYERS?? Like jesus they put zero effort into this story at all. Its absolutely repulsive, which makes you wonder, they spent so much money on the story yet its this awful, I mean **** they had RYAN REYNOLDS AS YOUR CHARACTER ON THE BOX, USED HIM AS THE CHARACTER MODEL FOR RECKER, HAD ALL THESE HOLLYWOOD NAMES, YET THE STORY WAS THAT BAD. KJELL WOULD BE INSUTLED, HE WAS IN THE MILITARY, YOU TURN SACRAFICE INTO A JOKE.… Expand

    havent play multiplayer so cant speak about it, but i finished campain and it just ok. nothing special. gameplay and graphics is good, i like physics in this game, but plot is really bad, its unrealistic

    The game is just awesome that they changed from battlefield 3 this is balistikuyu of weapons and the plot, as there he was dull, the soundtrack is cool even the atmosphere is there, and the game just wants to pereprohodit, but minus little added and bugs but considering that it was a patch in Russian, and so everything is cool I advise everyone.

    it was fun. there were some peoples left and i could play multiplayers fast to. the story was good too. and there were tanks, helicopter, boats and cars so it feeled awesome

    Campaign is the wet dream of America just like that dream It is full of faults/bugs.
    I hope whoever named that character "Irish" dies a painful and slow death.

    And multiplayer is dead compare to battlefield 3.

    I played the campaign and thought it was awesome. Its action packed, showcases most of the maps, and the graphics are amazing. The multiplayer is good from what I played a long time ago.

    Battlefield 4 could just as well be called Battlefield 3.5. The new Battlefield features are only marginal improvements over Battlefield 3, but even as such it leaves the competitors way behind. Hopefully the bugs will be squashed soon. [Nov 2013]

    Even if multiplayer wasn't buggy, Battlefield 4 would still only be a barely passable installment in all respects besides the snazzy graphics. EA and DICE played it safe by providing the same thing they did the last time around, with another phoned-in campaign and only minor alterations to the online.

    Battlefield 4 keeps soldiering on in the same footsteps as previous games in the series. The lack of worthwhile news makes you wish for more. Dice stays in its comfort zone calls for explosions and not much more. The series needs to evolve or fade out.
