They had ONE job, ONE, just ONE. Don't F this up, and they F-ed it up. Runs worse than WD and ACU combined. It's a half-ass job done for PC just so they won't cry that they didn't get PC version, well guess what. You can shove it up yours.

I was starting to think AAA broken releases was just a hot topic, and not as big of an issue as people make it out to be. I was wrong. This is getting ridiculous, and we need to vote with our wallets. Pulling a third of their sales should wake them up. Rocksteady decided to push the responsibility of the entire PC version to a third party. And that was a huge mistake. There is no way that any QA team played this game and thought it was fit for release. That means they intentionally took money from PC fans knowing full well they would be selling them an unplayable product. It's a shame... Expand

Arkham Knight is not broken on PC but rather it is in need of a little tweaking, no updates necessary.

Another AAA game disaster release for PC. Rushed out the door and now the internet is angry :p While you are able to install the game and depending on your pc rig even those on ultra machines can't run it properly.

After the bugged and broken Arkham Origins I was ready to right this series off as a loss. It was a cash grab that WB handed off to a studio that had zero experience with the series. Beyond the PC only game breaking bugs the combat and stealth mechanics were broken for all platforms.

But then Rocksteady and WB drop the bomb that this entire time, ever since Arkham City, they've been working on the real game Arkham Knight. No involvement by WB Montreal or Splash Games who ruined Origins. After delaying the game by more than 6 months its finally released and completely unplayable.

Now my issues are not graphics related. Which is surprising since I only have a 2600K and a 670. All the prerendered stuff lags like crazy like it does for a lot of people, but I have zero lag or framerate issues during actual game play. What makes it unplayable for me is the stupid camera positioning. I've tried playing with the Camera Assist option both on and off and no matter what setting I use the camera keeps adjusting itself to default directly overhead.

Gliding, walking, driving, all are borderline impossible because I can never see anything in front of me. Even standing still, talking to someone via the holo thing in my gauntlet, I'll put the camera behind me so I can see the person I'm talking to, and it will just swing itself back over the top of my head.

Please stay away from this very poor excuse of a PC port until they fixed this game. Stuttering, flicking, unstable FPS/low FPS and more are among the many pleasures to be found in this game This is very badly done WB and Rocksteady,

This is intended not as a genuine review, but as a message to the developers. We, PC gamers, are sick and tired of your never ending console porting **** You, Rocksteady, have no excuse. You pushed the game's release back for about 4 months, and this is not your first game. Arkham City had the exact same issues. You didn't learn squat. And that is why we are all getting refunds.

I went straight to the Benchmark and "Maxed" everything out which was funny as there are no Ultra settings and only minimal changes can be made. I've never seen a game where dialing down the settling made the FPS worse but Heyho. I managed an average of 46 FPS at 1080P with AA and V-Sync on running:

i7 4770 3.4, GTX 970, 16 GB Ram and installed on an SSD. Maybe I was better off due to the SSD. I cap my FPS at 60 anyway cos I'm using a Sony TV (don't hate me) I never got lower than 30 fps on the BM. I don't know where this thing about capping at 30 fps is coming from. I could have got about 52 without Volumetric Smoke but screw that its the best feature.

Anyway I fired up the game and the real world playtest went ok, yep just Ok. Textures look low quality and some movement stutters and its a real shame. Had high hopes for this. Regretting buying on PC even with the low cost as the PS4 version is probably better optimised. I thought PC users deserve better and can't understand why this was so poorly put together, WB/R* changing the minimum AMD GPU the night before release says it all. They knew there was a problem. Mines playable but I might come back to this after a few patches. Shame on you R*.

Worst PC port in a while, unplayable as it is now even on lowest settings and the 30fps cap is unforgivable on a PC game... i know that you can tweak the frame cap if you edit the ini file of the game.

I guess it never dawned on them until the night before release to actually test their requirements before selling it.

According to polygon this game is the reason why steam refunds are necessary and I am in 100% agreement; with steam as it was previously, it was easy for companies from the little indies up to the AAA titans to take advantage of PC gamers. We purchase our games and if they aren't what they were stated to be we are usually forced to eat the cost because even getting "store credit" could take months if we even get credit at all. So they churn out whatever garbage they want and as long as the promo videos look good people will pre-order and buy games to find them either unplayable, or playable if you jump through flaming circus hoops. I know a lot of people have already requested refunds and I believe this game may be the shining example to other companies doing the same thing. We now have a right to return your defective product and if you want our money try making something that runs.

The game is locked at 30fps, the textures are just plain bad in a lot of areas, the gameworks settings do absolutely nothing to the graphics, lights are flickering and the fps drops to mid 20s or even worse all the time. PC running the game, i7 4790K, GTX 970, 16gigs RAM and game is on an SSD.
