    Thankfully I didn't pay for this game. It came with my graphics card. The game seems pretty cool, but the PC port blows. I guess I'm going back to the Witcher 3.
    The only PC port of a game I've seen that can be considered worse than this one is the PC port for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

    10/10 would pay $60 again. Once again we are shown why we shouldn't pre-order , and how little some companies care about their PC audience. I hope this gets a fix. I can imagine rocksteady just giving up on the pc and never selling this game again.

    Clearly on the the best Batman games out there. A true masterpiece. I truly feel like Batman when playing this amazing game. Definitely the best Arkham game out there. Do yourself a favor and buy this game. You wont regret it!

    A Vulcan Machine Gun on unarmed people, run over unarmed people, use rockets on unarmed vehicles and people, electrocutes unarmed people who touch the vehicle (even if Batman runs them over), and this is the first 5    The Batmobile - is it Batman style or is it video game style?
    Then there is the whole: BATMAN does not use guns - but its okay to use a batmobile that has the following:

    Then it also has a 60mm Cannon - is this a lie, am I making this up, or is this in game?

    Sure some of the weapons can not directly hit the people on the street but the shock waves, explosions, and debris would.

    Is this how BATMAN handles criminals? Runs them down, shoots them, electrocutes them and shoots high caliber cannons, shells, and rockets at them? Is this the real Batman and how the Batmobile is... or is it the way the comics and movies would handle batman or just a video game thing?

    I played the game 97 minutes of ARKHAM KNIGHTon the PC AND.... What a let down.

    At first, it felt good and looked great until the BATMOBILE scenes.

    Without tweaks the benchmark had me average out at 30 FPS, but the fog and smoke made it lower at one point to 15 FPS. I am thinking they did something really bad and screwey with that dynamic smoke thing. On or off - it tanked my system and dropped the frame rate to such a level - especially with the Batmobile that i wanted to VOMIT. With tweaks it was averaging about 55 to 59 frames per second - except near smoke.

    After playing Arkham Knight I just wanted to vomit... the motion sickness and the drop in frame rates made me ill and I do not get motion sickness or such - but it was that bad... ugh....

    Not only did I get a refund, but I think they should pay me for my time wasted. I thought I would get the PS4 version but I don't want to endorse this horrible release.

    I gave this game 6 hours of my time in hopes that I could get past the issues with the lazy port and sadly I could not. The game has some great potential but with the issues such as, frame rate slowdown, bad lip syncing, wonky camera and more, I never found myself completely enjoying the game. Gave up. Refund Obtained. Hopefully it will be fixed and I can once more Be the Bat but II gave this game 6 hours of my time in hopes that I could get past the issues with the lazy port and sadly I could not. I can say is enough to run without many problems, EXCEPT to play with batmobile...I wished to play since ever with batmobile man! The car there's no much details like on ps4 and drop frame many times.     Its broken. Everytime you drive the batmobile the frame rate drops to 30. Its one of the first games I bought after getting a titan x. Almost crapped myself out of excitement when the game finished downloading, played for one hour and immediately proceeded to ask steam for a refund.

Non si riesce neanche a tenere i 30! Il menù delle opzioni grafiche è orrendo e non permette di selezionare i vari tipi di antialiasing o occlusione ambientale.     Gotta love that single digit framerate on a GTX 970. Don't get me wrong. This is a good game on consoles. But the PC version is literally unplayable on launch. Don't buy this game on PC right now until it is patched. If you have one, pick this game up on consoles. it is a great game on consoles. And the only game I would say is better on consoles.

    PC port worked great for me only had slight frame rate drops and slight frame tear and voice sync fallout. The game as a whole with out the PC port being broken for most is above average at best. The combat is the same as before and is worth less on any difficulty below hard. Enemies are numerous and varied but it is Arkham City all over again just tweaked slightly. Story is boring and you can see all the twists coming for a mile away even if you aren't a batman comic or cartoon fan. Joker is the only saving grace for the story the voice acting for him is wonderful absolutely amazing. He is the only reason i kept playing this game to the end. He kept me laughing and entertained throughout. The Arkham Knights identity is spoiled half way through the game without being intentional as far as I could tell. The big reveal at the end isn't that great since you know who it is by then. I don't want to spoil it for you since the game does it nicely all by its self. The game takes about 17 hours to finish the story with little to no side quests and that is awesome value for the money. If this came out and Arkham City never did this would have been an amazing game but it is the same and that is a shame. If you want a game to spend the money on get Witcher 3 and wait for this game to come down in price.

    My two cents on the game has nothing to do with the performance issues some people are having, as that has been made abundantly clear by many of the reviewers.

    That being said, I was fortunate enough not to have game breaking glitches and crashes, and found out how to unlock the 30 FPS lock through the .ini file (quite simple to do and takes a whole 2 minutes to accomplish) so I was able to play the game to (near) completion.

    I have to hand it to the story writers of the game, as writing the story for this game was clearly a labor of love, and they had to have some talented people working for them that really have respect for the batman universe, and I personally have no objections with the way they've wrapped up this series (as far as the story is concerned...more below!).

    On the other hand though, the mechanisms they used to deliver this story (gameplay) was something that I have serious problems with. This title is loaded with anti-climactic non-engagements with many of the main villains, and has absolutely ZERO boss fights.

    Some will argue that the vehicle battles with the Arkham Knight leading up to the final encounter with him would count as a boss fight, or that the final vehicle battle with Deathstroke is a boss fight (which is exactly the same tank battle as the one with the Arkham Knight). Those people would be missing the point entirely. There is absolutely no direct engagement with any of Batman's rivals WHAT. SO. EVER. Not in any way that should be considered a "boss fight" anyway.

    It's almost kind of cruel that the game is designed for you to go through the "Most Wanted" quest lines, which are basically side quests that have the player going after the various major villains that are central to the Batman stories, and once the player completes the quest line, they might be rewarded with a pseudo-boss fight (as with Deathstroke), or get to make a "life-or-death" decision (as with the Azrael quest line), but no actual fight or battle takes place that presents the player with anything that resembles a challenge.

    Having a great story is a very important part of a great game, but robbing your customers and fans of any sort of finality or closure by not giving them any engagement whatsoever with any villain in the game other than vehicle fights and skirmishes with henchmen is, at least in my mind, extremely lazy and unforgivable.

    The script for this game would have been better off being sold off to an animation studio for another animated Batman movie because that's essentially what Rocksteady gave us with this title...an interactive animated movie.

    It's unfortunate because up to this point, I really enjoyed the blending of a great story with an action packed games through the Arkham titles, with boss battles that while not the most difficult in the world, presented some challenge and kept me engaged with the story that was being conveyed. The formula for Arkham Knight just fell way too short for me.

    I would strongly recommend waiting to find this game in the bargain bin, or on one of the crazy awesome sales on Steam. Definitely do yourselves a favor and don't make the same mistake I did by paying full price for this "game."    … Expand

    Greed and Iron Galaxy are to blame for this abortion. Iron Galaxy screwed up the port of Origins, and they screwed up this one too. As for Warner Bros. Discrimination against PC gamers has to end with terrible, rushed, buggy, broken console ports to PC. WB is now on my boycott list along with EA.

    It's a shame that I can't even play this game without a crash. I purchased this on steam for $59.99 CDN and opted to get a refund due to it being such a crappy port. Shame on WB.

    After this debacle I'll be waiting for it to be $9.99 because they don't deserve $60 after what they pulled. Fail, what a failure.

    Is it playable? Sure.. jack all the setting to min, lower resolution to the stone age and you get a ps3 game that still runs like dog poop, with slow down and shutter all over the place.

I am shocked at the quality of this release, Origins was released badly but we were all expecting that considering it was a WB cash grab. I thought LA Noire's port was shoddy but this makes LA Noire's port playable and actually enjoyable by comparison. I can't help but laugh at the 30fps cap, how out of touch with PC gamers do you have to be to think that is gonna fly?!? The textures take forever to load, if they load. The lighting sucks bawls and makes this look like a last gen Batman game. The only reasons I gave this game any points is because I gotThis game is in no way acceptable. It uses **** for AA! The game itself is absolutely outstanding, the Batmobile is a big addition that help mix up the gameplay from the usual brawl/predator cycle that the Arkham games follow.     Game is totally broken. Problems with installation, impossible to play even on pc with recommended requirements fulfilled - 2-3 FPS on lowest possible settings. And what do You know - they withdrew it from steam sale cause it's so incomplete and broken. STAY AWAY! At least for a year, maybe till then it will be fixed enough to play.

    That broken port is a total Rocksteady mess whit PC games. When the batmobile appears, the fps drop to 10, or 1. Unplayable. Not even Assassin's Creed Unity had a port like this. Only playing in 720p the fps are more estable.

    Bought the game off steam and noticed right away this game was not optimized properly. Thank goodness for Steam refunds... and to top it WB suspended the sale of this game until they address the issue. Hopefully we send a message to the retards at WB that a game that runs like **** at launch is unacceptable. HOOORAHHH

    Graphics is really similar to Arkham City, but I prefer AC engine, cause it works better, more stable and have more graphics options.

    It's funny I thought the Arkham Origins will be worst.

    I had the Memorial Edition preordered about a month ago nad was very disapointed to read all these negative reviews. After I got my hands on the game, though, I am very pleased to have bought it. It's as much enjoyable as Arkham Asylum & Arkham City and not at all broken in my rig (i5 3570K, GTX780Ti, 8Gb). It's not perfect but it sure is more than OK!

    the first time in my life I put a negative to a game analysis, gives the impression that rocksteady not give importance to the public have returned pc steam game and want nothing more than any game WB, less danuvo and more make better optimizations so sure there would be less piracy

    Texture quality seems like the game is made 5 years ago, and overall visuals look worse than the PS4 version. Making things worse, even with low quality graphics, my titan x sli cannot hold 30fps while riding the batmobile. Totally broken port. Giving this game 1 instead of 0 because it seems like rocksteady will fix the problems.

    Horrible port which deserves many bad reviews; diamond in the rough awaiting underneath?

    After some tweaking of .ini files the game actually runs OK for me. I have a GTX 570 with Core i5 and I get 25-45 fps dipping down to 20 when I'm driving the bat-mobile. All this at 1920x1200. TBH, I expected much better given that this year's Shadow of Mordor runs at ~45 fps on my machine AND    Horrible port which deserves many bad reviews; diamond in the rough awaiting underneath?

    After some tweaking of .ini files the game actually runs OK for me. I have a GTX 570 with Core i5 and I get 25-45 fps dipping down to 20 when I'm driving the bat-mobile. All this at 1920x1200. TBH, I expected much better given that this year's Shadow of Mordor runs at ~45 fps on my machine AND looks better to boot.

    As for the gameplay: it's actually very fun, I really enjoy playing this game and would certainly rate it higher if the occasional 20fps st-t-t-t-t-utter didn't break the immersion.

Not to mention that u have to download AGAIN the whole damn game even with the retail version. Box came with 5DVD's and the steelbook has place only for one.     Well, the Batman game franchise has become a bloated cash-cow, risk free game design makes for a pretty predictable experience...if you are new to the series you may garner enjoyment from it, but for me the format has become too stale even with the Batmobile shoehorned into the proceedings. Batman is in dire need of a clean slate.

The combat has always been great in these games and AK builds on that with a whole slew of new combat techniques. The story thus far has been really well done and very engaging. I've played around 7 hours and I've had zero issues with the game. Not one single issue. It runs a silky smooth 60fps with all settings maxed, including all the gameworks options. I'm sure some people are experiences some performance issues, but i have no doubt they will be resolved with a patch, just like every other game that suffers from launch day issues. I gave the game a 9 simply because i had to manually edit the ini files to up the fps cap and turn off motion blur. These are options that should have been included in game and there are a lot of missing settings that pc gamers are accustomed to. My only other complaint is that the batmobile feels like the devs were too eager to justify its existence and as such, it feels forced at times. Overall though, AK is a fantastic game and a worthy successor to the other excellent games in this series.… Expand

    Do not even think about buying this unfinished port, I paid around 90$ for the premium edition can't even pass the game opening cutcene. Many people around the world are expressing alot of performance issues with this disaster unfinished PC port.

Last night and this morning I have played with only 1 crash so maybe something got patched. So far I am really enjoying this game the story is interesting and driving the batmobile is really fun.     I have no idea what all the fuss is about, been playing this game for 3 hours now and it runs flawlessly, I do have a 980ti so I expect a good frame rate. I get 60 fps since updating the config file and GPUtemp shows the GPU core run around 60-90%, so running with ease.

    Other than the techy bit, Great game, just getting into it, but giving an early 10 to offset all the unnecessary 0 scores.

    What a garbage port. I got this for free for buying an Nvidia GTX 970 and very much looked forward to playing it as I greatly enjoyed the first two games. However, it is unplayable on my pc. 30fps is not acceptable for games anymore, and it won't work on anything higher. I wish I could get a refund on part of my GTX 970 purchase due to the game being awful.

    Overall if you like the other games in the sites you will like this BUT the launch has been marred by poor performance. Even without the 30fps issue i think a gtx770 should produce better results, i have 12gb ram and 2 x quad Xeon processors at 3ghz so I'm comfortably in the recommended system requirements! However it will probably be fixed quickly with an update based on the poor responses all over the Internets. Then it will be an 8 or 9 game at least.    … Expand

    The worst port of any game i've ever played. the game looks good but if you try and change any of the graphics options the game dies if you try and play the game it drops to 3-13 fps and it has image and sound problems. Thank god for steams refunds.

    I wanted to add my disappointed voice to the others. There is not much to say that hasn't already been said. At least this can't beat Witcher 3 for any awards for sure now! I am rooting for that game for GOTY. As a PC gamer this kind of stuff scares me. I really want to play the console type AAA games on my PC without having to worry about crap like this.

    Graphics are average, lack of graphical options, turning off motion blur and other bad post process effects is not possible.

    And what about this absolute stupidity of locking FPS at 31 FPS ? GTA V is running at 50/60 FPS with standard graphic settings and looks awesome, Rocksteady should be able to do the same.     I'm workin with a middle of the line graphics card and CPU and so far the game hasn't taken a graphical dump so hard that it took away from beating the living snot out of like, 20 dudes with the help of the bat tank. The story is well done, and Gotham City post Scarecrow douchbaggery is one hell of an immersive world. The controls are responsive, and the game overall looks fantastic,I'm workin with a middle of the line graphics card and CPU and so far the game hasn't taken a graphical dump so hard that it took away from beating the living snot out of like, 20 dudes with the help of the bat tank.     All the positives you can make about the PC version are totally outweighed by the very poor and shoddy port to pc.

    It seems like WB knew the pc version was poorly optimised. All the review copies sent out to magazines and web reviewers seem to be the PS4 version. From reading online, it also seems that the Console versions actually have better graphical features than the PC version, so even if you have a top end PC card, the performance you can expect this game to run, will be less than the consoles.
    An absolute joke of a port, locked to 30fps by default, and I doubt this will be fixed anytime soon. A few patches won't be enough to fix this disaster!    … Expand

    What a bad follow up, what a bad end, what a bad threatment for your players. Is that the same software house who made Arkham Origins? No it's impossible, because that was a nice title.

    First off, the game crashed about 4 times before I could get it to launch. The initial launch froze my entire system. Secondly - the framerate is capped to 30 FPS. Thirdly - There is a severe lack of Advanced Graphics Options in the Menu, you can't disable options such as Motion blur, ambient occlusion, v-sync, etc Fourth - There are    Do not waste your time and money on this game.

    Thirdly - There is a severe lack of Advanced Graphics Options in the Menu, you can't disable options such as Motion blur, ambient occlusion, v-sync, etc
    Fourth - There are serious optimization issues plaguing the game, framerates are all over the place, even after you uncap the FPS, it still runs horribly
    Fifth - Textures will randomly go from high to low to high on people, enemies.
    Sixth - Disabling Motion blur through the system INI will BREAK detective mode, you will not be able to see people
    Seventh - The texture quality is better on the consoles than the PC version.

    What's really egregious about this is that Rocksteady didn't even develop the PC version. They outsourced it to some third party composed of 12 PEOPLE. God knows, they did a horrible and shoddy job at this port. Warner Bros even had the audacity to come out and say that 30 FPS is the best way to play this game.

    Really? REALLY? Are they that dense? This is 2015, not 1995. PCs are more than capable of handling this game, yet they did a shoddy job of optimizing it and try to mask it by telling us not to uncap the FPS.

    I think there is an authority gap about audit in pc gaming sector,these days....Unfinished products are being sold and people are being deceived,especially for the last 2 years...I'll NOT preorder a game anymore,no matter what the bonuses are or how big the title is!

    Porting issues aside, Batman: Arkham Knight is a decent enough game. It's not the spectacular swansong we hoped for from Rocksteady, but it's another solid - if predictable - slice of Arkham gameplay, with a couple of great sections along the way.
