   Best 8 player party game ever! Feels like a mix of knight squad, Joust, and Killer Queen. It's a lot of fun on a Sunday afternoon with the buds!

There are two versions of the game included in this-- an arcade mode (with up to 2 players playing co op for high scores) and an arena mode. The arena mode is a fun 8-player party game like Knight Squad and super smash bros. I've played both versions and they appeal to players who love competition and want to hang out and play with their buds on a weekend. Add this to your PARTY game collection for sure!… Expand

Whether it’s strategizing with a friend to conquer the leaderboard or just enjoying a laid-back gaming session on a weekend, Avian Knights creates an environment that is as competitive as it is cooperative, which is no easy feat.
   
   The simple, intuitive controls make it easy for beginners to jump in, while the complex high-score mechanics and a multitude of achievements and tournaments offer a robust challenge for more seasoned gamers. With each passing stage, the difficulty ramps up organically, making the journey from novice to expert feel incredibly rewarding.
   
   The sound design deserves a special mention. Every flap of the wings, clash of the swords, and victorious screech adds another layer of immersion to the game. The music, varying from the upbeat to the intense, perfectly complements the action on-screen and ensures that you are audibly as well as visually invested in the game.

   As someone who grew up playing couch co-op games, Avian Knights has been a nostalgia trip for me. It brings back that old school joy of sitting down with friends and family, huddled around a screen, cheering and groaning together.
