    This game is so bug infested is barely playable. You'll find bugs that ruin your experience every 10 minutes. Game breaking bugs, glitches in every single mission and task of the game. Do not buy this game right now, wait for a sale. Ubisoft got so lucky Cyberpunk got delayed, otherwise I'd have never bought this ****

    Promising game but we are still waiting for a update to fix for smoke and fire glitches which totally runes the game experience. the official response its not their problem but yours because you have not updated your windows.

Due to a glitch in my settlement I can't interact with most of the npcs in my settlement. This means that for example I can't customize certain things which was supposed to be a big part of the game. In addition to this, Ubish*t doesn't use Steam anymore so I have to use their absolutely awful forum to get technical support, or I won't get past all the countless bugs I run into every few minutes.

    Да только меня возмущает факт отсутсвия английской локализации для российской версии игры. Лично мне намного удобнее играть в оригинале, так как это не только помогает получше прочувствовать игру, но и изучать язык. Поэтому рекомендую обходить стороной эту игру тем кто любит играть в оригинале. Жадность этой позорной студии дошла до неимоверного маразма, из-за    Игра-то хорошая.

    The game for thousands of people can not be finishes as the Alliance map bug that they usually see near the end prevents them from finishing the main quest and seeing the end of the game. And for many this comes up after 100+ hours put it, you cant even re-load back.

    Ubisoft while promising to address this bug and giving excuses like "We cant re-create this bug so it takes time" etc has just continued to create more content for their online store and ignored the problem for 2 patches now.

    I have said it before, I will say it again, horrible company that I will never again pre-order another game from and I say this as someone who has played every single AC game they ever made.    … Expand

    It's a fun game... when it works. It crashes more often than any other game I've ever played (including largely modded skyrim and other similar buggy games). I play on a pretty beefy and optimized system as well. Everything is updated - windows, video drivers, etc. I've verified game's files and reinstalled but it still crashes way too often to be enjoyable.     The combat feels clunky compared to Odyssey, but the story and world seem interesting enough that i won't complain too much about it. After playing for a while i find myself irritated by several issues. While i can understand it makes climbing more interesting, the romans didn't build a world wonder on nearly every single hill in england. Зачем, да просто такая цель, такой сюжет. Н.и какого конфликта, или высшей цели тут нет, вот тебе список квестов, выполняй. Боевка стала чуть лучше от Одиссеи, но все так же можно убивать любыхИгра в которой плохо практически всё.     If you love looking at Ubisoft's loading screen, this is the game for you! I played a couple of hours of this game and really enjoyed it. Then, went to bed. The next morning when I went to go play again, I couldn't get past the loading screen. Nothing changed, nothing updated. It just decided to stop working. I tried everything from rebooting, closing background apps, re-installing, etc.If you love looking at Ubisoft's loading screen, this is the game for you! I played a couple of hours of this game and really enjoyed it. Then, went to bed. The next morning when I went to go play again, I couldn't get past the loading screen. Nothing changed, nothing updated. It just decided to stop working.     What a slitshow. Between the hammered wolf bussy that's Ubisoft and the lackluster Epic Games it's just an absolute clusterduck. Spent two hours just trying to unfudge it all. It's astounding how many people trash AC Odyssey and some other games in the franchise but prostrate to ones like this. Don't buy into the hype and save your money.

    Played the game for 3 hours no problem. Close the game go to sleep (turn off computer, no updates), now it will stay stuck at launch screen. Tried another computer same thing, opens then won't. Think about it like this surprise gift... might work, might not after 70 hours. Literally no support from the developers.

    Only first 30min of play was fine, but after moving to England... didn't feel this game. Assassin's looks like pushed to this game so high without any logic. Store inside game it's another disaster... don't understand why they can move this game to another saga...

If they fix the performance I would give this game a 4 but as it stands at launch I would give it a 3. However, due to the smooth brains rating this utter tripe 10, I will rate it 0.

I gate that level of hypocrisy, when they release the game without all additional payments, and later add it, after all reviews, metascores and game awards are finished. Good job ubisoft. I won't buy any of your new game even if it looks ok on release. Because later you might start charging for opening options or saving the game progress

Seems like this game has been the final nail in the coffin regarding Darby's departure from Ubisoft, hopefully he joins a team that will give him freedom to create the story he wants to create. It is hard not to see this game as a money grabbing tool that Ubisoft have created with the Helix store, limiting the amount of content (armour sets, weapons) in the base game then adding all other content behind pay walls is disgusting charging £10 - £15 per armour pack for a 'singleplayer' game, I wrote a post on reddit and made a petition regarding this if you want to know more follow the links below I go little further imln depth regarding the matter.     The game has no DirectX 11 support so if you have an older GPU though luck, you can't play the game and not because your GPU can't run it but because the devs had to pull all the tricks in the book to make it run on consoles and PC players ended up suffering the consequences from a copy paste port. Shame.

    This is probably my first time buying a Ubisoft game on release date. I kind of liked Origin and Odyssey, but only bought them in less than half price.     The graphics is slightly better at the cost of much more glitches and bugs everywhere.

    The audio is ridiculously bad in cutscenes and especially in combats.

    The enemy AI is just brainless. I constantly see most of enemies standing there doing nothing in a large scale battle, and you can basically defeat any enemy by hit and walk away and hit again in hardest settings

    I don't know if Ubisoft can really fix a game that is broken in every aspect. Maybe this is how they have been doing and I never tried their game on the release date. I will stop playing this crap until I see substantial improvements    … Expand

However, because I like the Ubisoft games, I gonna Try. Hope, somebody who make decisions at least heard about this.

    The worst Assassin’s Creed Ever. I used to love Ubisoft historic games. I’ve played all Prince of Persia series and the majority of AC. However, I have to admit that it’s becoming worse and worse every new one.
    We are already used to the bugs in the game, I’m ok with it. The problem is that you are changing important games characteristics.
    First, RPG wasn’t a good idea, the game become less fluid and we have only three options: pay, reduce level or expend time in side quests and resources searches, even if we just want to enjoy the story. I suggest a new mode without levels.
    Second, the main character, Eivor is perhaps the weaker, slower and boring of all. Enemies always attack him first, even on the light attack, and you have only three moviments to divide your small energy between evade and attack. I imagine a fight between him and Kenway or Arno. It become the game so boring and annoying that I almost loose my patient.
    Third, health are so scarce that you die many times without any chance to react. I strongly prefer autohealing after run.
    Minors problems like you several times attack in directions you don’t want, you can’t climb everywhere and your claw its not so funny. I still miss a game where you have to think to solve puzzles like Prince of Persia anyway. At least, we don’t have to spend time out animus or forced to kill templars if we don’t want.
    When AC Black Flag was release I taught we are going to have bests games ever. Amazing, Ships fights, dynamic fights and character. But looks like you lost your way along the way. Sad.
    Maybe I’m not the games public you wan’t perhaps. Anyway, Nowadays, that’s is how I feel it today.    … Expand

    The amount of bugs in this game is crazy. I have to restart it at least once every 2 hours because of how often it freezes but I pushed through and conquered all but one of the regions. Now my game soft locked after spending 40 hours and I won't even get to see the ending myself.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I just want to say. That I love Norse mythology. I literally tutored kids about it( and Greek Mythology)

    I loved Odyssey ( it got me back playing AC after Black Flag) so when I saw that is one was about the Norse gods and Vikings; I was so excited. I pre-ordered the game (120.00 dollars) which Is something I rarely do.

    I have played it for over 60 hours. I only play maybe an hour or 2 at a time, because I honestly get so bored and tired of it, that I have to quit.

    I am bored as hell with it. I regret pre-ordering it. I wouldn’t even play 60 dollars for this game.

    I am literally forcing myself to play, ( and finish) because of the money I spent on it.

    I hate that there is almost no loot. ( I love loot). Yes I explored. I got all the main loot( I looked it up online to make sure I didn’t miss any), and it still isn’t enough.

    I hate that they took almost all the “sidequests” out of the game. What they call sidequests are too short( most are a 2 minutes or less) and most are forgettable. The exploring was boring. I have most of the map cleared now, and it wasn’t worth it, honestly. I liked some mystery events ( I refuse to call them side quests). Like the old man at the edge of the cliff. He was funny. I liked the wolf one. I like the “Have seen this man” one. But the exploring and the events are forgettable.

    I hate the longships “ customization”. I can’t choose my raiders or put a theme to it.( I like being able to choose all Artemis Daughters on Odyssey)

    The climbing is horrible. I have glitched over 30 times and had to shut down the game with task manager, also I can’t drop down half the time. Plus half the time the character does something I didn’t want. Like diving down when I want to climb up. Or jumping the wrong way. Overall it’s clunky and not smooth. I even get stuck/frozen just from running sometimes. The combat is not great. They changed the buttons and it doesn’t feel smooth. I do like the double axe throw and the valkyrie skill.

    The audio is awful. Between the muffle voices and interrupting and overlapping voices. It’s not great.

    The skills tree is not great either. I miss all my cool abilities ( that I can choose).

    Also the raven is not as helpful as the other eagle. I can’t even tag targets. I do not have great eye-sight and eagle was better at helping.

    The drinking game is cool, but when It starts to get blurry and dizzy it hurts my eyes and I can’t finish the drinking game. ( Their should be an option to turn that part off)

    Almost all of the characters are forgettable and have no heart, soul or personality.

    Plus all the Bugs( including both annoying ones and game breaking) , but that’s in all games, unfortunately.

    Odyssey did the loot, ships and even the sidequests ( the main ones, not the message boards) better.

    Overall, once I force myself in to finish this game. I will NOT be replaying it. ( I replay most games at least 3 times)

    I’m am happy that some people like/love it though. Its just not for me.


    I also to want say I played since 2 until Black Flag, and then I started playing again in Odyssey. So I have played the earlier games.    … Expand

I'm really annoyed that I bought the gold edition for over 90 € as a pre-order. I will sell my Ubisoft shares. It's a shame, I was so looking forward to the game.     Rather disappointed. I really enjoyed Origins and Odyssey, so I expected more from Valhalla. Combat is just awful - constantly getting knocked down, and the controls are so sluggish. And some quests are just tedious. They really need to do more beta testing next time and be sure the game is actually fun to play.

Dialogues are dull, fighting is boring and the worst of all is that any treasure is hidden in a stupid way so to get anything you constantly have to look for idiotically hidden entrances.     It was a good game until recently. With patch 1.1 - the balance is terrible, ruining the whole game, forcing the player to pay money. I bought the game for $ 60, you cannot extort more money from me to buy experience for a broken balance. This is blatant theft and fraud. Ubisoft scammers.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a great-looking open-world game with impressive landscapes and cinematography. However, the checklist collectible open-world still needs some work to feel truly engaging, and combat is too tedious and too frequent to be compelling. As a lapsed fan of Assassin's Creed trying to see if I can click with the series once again, Valhalla didn't quite hook me as I was hoping it would.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.

    Sneaking is fun, fighting is fun, walking through the great outdoors is so much fun. Sightseeing too! Valhalla is free minded and could be innovative, but lacks skills to persuade its players about that. [Issue#308]
