    The only "good" things in this game are the parkour, the story, and maybe the weapons. The combat often feels super slow, and it looks like Arno is more focused on style than actually fighting for this life. Parkour, although it is the most realistic in the series, is often ruined by Arno climbing or refusing to climb an object for no reason.     Good game, but little boring after some time. Main missions are okay, but you have to get more money, by doing side quests, but they are very similar to each other.

    Despite the stuttering issues and all frame drops, I kept playing story and side stories. Stuter only didnt let me do the collect and explore stuff, but apart from that the detective missions and paris stories kept me entertained and educated me about revolution figures etc. My GTX770 provided me 50fps on high but constant stutters, (some places dont stutter more oftenly though), frenchDespite the stuttering issues and all frame drops, I kept playing story and side stories.     With it's bugs it brings the game down but the story is not that bad compared to the other assassin's creed games.

    Tiene un buen parkour, ciertas misiones son interesantes, sin embargo sus misiones secundarias son demasiado repetitivas, siento que el online en este juego no agrega mucho, pero si te puede llegar a dar diversion

    It's no longer as bad a game as it was when it came out, but still it's not a good game. I need to try this game again in the future. I still haven't played long enough hours.

    The soundtrack does not disappoint; but for me, lacks that punch. A lot could be said about the protagonist of the game, and I think he's one of the main aspects that will determine if you like the story or not.     A lot could be said about the protagonist of the game, and I think he's one of the main aspects that will determine if you like the story or not. Many blame him for being plain and boring, but I would argue that his lover is the one that drags him down. When his love interest isn't directly linked to the story arc, it's usually more interesting.

    There is a good amount of content in the game. When the main story started to take a turn for the worse, it was the side content that kept me enjoying the game, as the Paris Stories, the Murder Mysteries and Helix Rifts were all really fun.

    The parkour side of this adventure is where Unity shines. Running across rooftops and climbing historical monuments is the smoothest it's ever been in an Assassin's Creed title. However, you will be occasionally put to a full stop by a 10 cm ledge or get stuck on a chair in a house you're trying to run through.

    The gameplay is simple, with melee combat providing very satisfying finishers like in the other instalments of the series. Combat in small spaces, like corridors or rooms can be annoying as You will struggle with the camera and tank hits because of it.

    Overall, I think the game is a bag of mixed feelings. However, even if You take all the negatives I've mentioned, I think the game provides enough great content to be worth a play. Unless You're only interested in playing through the main story, and if so then You might finish pretty damn disappointed.    … Expand

    Newfound openness of Assassin’s Creed demonstrates just how inadequate its AI really is for a stealth game: pampered nobility usually simply ignores a bloodied body on the dance floor, and guards don’t care much either. At least they’ve learned how to fight: unless you “cheat” with smoke bombs, it’s highly unlikely you’ll survive a melee against a group. [Jan 2015, p.62]

    As I write this, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is a bugfest, but technical problems, however annoying, can and probably will be fixed. It is not cracks in textures that it is the most worrying thing about Unity, but the cracks in game design and writing.
