    I completed Brotherhood, AC 3, Syndicate, Origins, Revelations, Rogue, Odyssey

    But i just cant play Unity, it just feels so boring and weird that i cant help myself but to unistall it after 30 minutes of playing

    Cons : Crowded yet hollow Paris. Repetitive and boring side activities (barring one) . Unconnected and blank story. Unresponsive controls. Unsatisfactory combat. Plain characters (barring one)
    Pros : Elize as a character is fairly fascinating. Smooth parkour system. Engaging murder mysteries side activities.

    I have played some AC games way back in the day on PS3. This is a free drop from Ubisoft Connect. The fundimental flaw of all AC games is that I am playing a game within a game. Taking a VR trip inside in a characters ancestors memories is kind of immersion breaking. This series would of worked without the sci-fi elements. I would of happily played an line of descendant assassinsI have played some AC games way back in the day on PS3. This is a free drop from Ubisoft Connect.     This game ruined the whole experience for me WITH BUGS even though I was playing on the latest version. Wish they had just finished and polished the game then released it. It had the potential to be a very great game.

    As a French I thought this opus would be my favorite of all AC license and yet it actually was the opposite.
    I didn't like the fact that you were stuck inside the walls of a single town (Paris) with tons of things to do but way too repetitive. Plus I had a lot of bugs and optimisations issues. Good graphics tho.

Secondly: terrible interface. I had to spend 30 minutes reading guides on how to launch a new game. And thirdly: the game in the middle of the plot was sent to dlc with high-level opponents, and it just won't work toWell, what can I say, the game is not worth the money.     It's 2021 the game still has bugs. The story is very boring badly written, unlikeable characters, very short gameplay, chaotic map with 10000 collectibles which is extremely boring. Bad fighting mechanics, clumsy as **** I want to play all AC games, but i considered several times to just stop play this **** hours already gets me bored and annoyed.Worst parkour in the series.

    I am a fan of the Assassins Creed series, but for certain reasons, after the magnificent Black Flag and Rogue, I put the series on pause and did not play in the sequels. And finally I went through this tedious mud, called Unity. First, about the pros: the graphics have stepped far ahead compared to the previous parts and, perhaps, that's all. The plot, narratives, characters andI am a fan of the Assassins Creed series, but for certain reasons, after the magnificent Black Flag and Rogue, I put the series on pause and did not play in the sequels. And finally I went through this tedious mud, called Unity. First, about the pros: the graphics have stepped far ahead compared to the previous parts and, perhaps, that's all. The plot, narratives, characters and eclecticism in the game are simply miserable and resemble another cheap slag series from Netflix. This is a hack on vegetable oil and a soulless dummy. Apparently, the developers, every single force, threw on a breakthrough, compared to the previous Black Flag, graphics, absolutely spitting on everything else. Well, it didn't work - the game failed miserably and was spat on by both critics and the gaming community.
    The characters, with the exception of Pierre Bellek, are absolutely soulless, and their motives and actions are like in a bad, fake tabloid play; they are absolutely not realistic, you do not believe them, do not sympathize and do not empathize. The main character had a huge potential, but it was not revealed at all.
    The whole game is one long quest "hunt down and kill". No drama, no conflict, no twists and turns of the plot, everything is just insanely bland, stretched and dull.
    Paris is made relatively well, there is life in it, however, the atmosphere and spirit of revolutionary France is not felt from the word at all.
    The combat system was also redesigned, which became more arcade, unrealistic and inconvenient.
    A stupid pricing system, when a bottle of medicine costs more than the restoration of a three-story mansion in Paris, but many games sin like this.
    In all the previous parts of the series, your weapons and armor practically did not play a significant role in the gameplay, and more expensive equipment allowed you to play a little more comfortably. In Unity, everything is different. Here you will be required to save huge amounts of money to buy a sword, a lot of armor/clothing items, and you will spend hours and days doing countless boring side quests, if, of course, you want to play comfortably. Otherwise, the gameplay turns into a continuous torment. You will be killed with a single blow, and in order to kill a simple opponent, you will need to chop him from head to toe with your low-level saber.
    There was also a place for a strong, independent woman who decides everything herself. It is a pity, it is impossible to spoiler, or I would tell about the insanity that guides the thinking and actions of many heroes.
    In general, Unity has become a complete disappointment and something tells me that it will only get worse from now on. It is an insanely pity that one of the oldest and coolest AAA series of games, like many others, also went downhill and began to turn into a bland, tasteless, devoid of character and soul conveyor. The conveyor belt, which is now managed by effective managers, accountants and radical propagandists of various minorities, and not by directors, producers, directors and talented game makers who are burning with their work - true artists and poets of their field.

    The **** of Ubisoft, basically. They pooped and we look at it. Bugs are still there.

    "Are those less?". No, there are still more. And story is **** I hate this AC Game. Just don't play it. If you like multiplayer, extra content for Assassin's Creed II.

    Assassin's Creed Unity can be a fun for you, which it did not been to me. It's a higher priced Assassin's Creed II

    Perhaps the worst game I have ever played. The producers made fun of us. After all these years, I said maybe it is good for the game. But what a disaster it is. I do not know where to start. Even the clothes people change frequently. I'm just going to attack someone in the game, the guy teleports and leaves. I played as much as I could in the game and had to quit before I could reach half. In particular, I worked too hard on a mission and it was awfull. The game and the episode were not difficult at all, actually, extremely simple. However, no matter which way I tried, I couldn't always play because of bugs. If you have a question about how to not make a game, play this game directly. Write everything down from the first second to the end. Let me warn you, there can be as much as an encyclopedia. This game is not even worth grading. If anyone is still thinking about playing, stop thinking immediately. It's an incredibly bad game.… Expand

It seems that ubisoft forgot to code in for the ability for enemies to climb walls (even though they will spawn on rooves). If you are in a duel with 5 dudes? cool 3 will spam attacks on you and 2 will shoot you non stop.

    Which brings up a new issue in melee combat. They switched to a 'fencing' gameplay instead of the instant kill counters that we are used to. I thought I would be happy with this because combat in the previous games got a bit tedious with killing everyone with just 2 button presses. In a 1v1 duel it works great, even up to 3v1 is easily managed. the issue is when you have top fight more than that because, as listed before, enemies just start shooting you with no breaks. in the old system this was okay because we can quickly dispatch some enemies in-between shots. not only are your combat movement slower here, but for some enemies it will require 5 or more parry's and three hit combos before they go down. Combine this with no good way to dodge enemies ranged attacks and the AI no longer 'taking turns' when they attack you and the combat is absolutely terrible. now those of you who have played black flag may be thinking, 'can't i just use an enemy as a shield against the shots'? nope they got rid of that mechanic. Which is a common theme in this game, it has less mechanics and the gameplay is worse than any other assassin's creed title, and I have played all of the predecessors.

    Ok stealth is going to be the last thing for now, all attacks are loud. you want to walk up behind someone? they probably hear you and turn around. Want to assassinate someone while another guy looks away? Other guy hears you and turns around. if you want to TRY to make your attacks silence you need endgame gear, which can be bought with Real life money. and I think this is the core issue here. Mechanics that made the game easier were removed, new more frustration mechanics for enemies were put in and the best way to overcome them is to use end game gear and 'boosts' that you obtain with your credit card. as someone who even like assassin's creed 3, this game was truly awful.    … Expand

    There are loads of things to do in this open-world RPG, but there is zero motivation to do any of them, I can't quite put into words how disappointed I am with this game, the world feels great but the only thing I want to do in it is to climb up to the top of Notre Dame and enjoy the view. The only good bit of the story is up to escaping the bastille, from there it's all downhill.

    Even without all the bugs, this game is mediocre at best. The new parkour control is horrible. The character always goes directions against my will. Combat system is utter rubbish. The automatic lock system is a joke. And side missions are just boring and repetitive, and dont make any sense story-wise. . And with all the microtransactions, this game deserved to go free.

    Clunky garbage piece of **** game, whoever thought this was the best AC game really are delusional, Its clunky, boringly grindy and the optimization is awful, the graphics are bad when you require a 2070 Card just to be able to take the game on ultra A 2014 game!

    Worst addition to the series, atleast Odyssey you can control the **** character

Ubisoft didn't even make an effort to release any update that would fix the glitches, lag spikes, animation errors, unsynced voice dialogs, etc. Unity is like an injured soldier left forgotten in battlefield. This just proves that Ubisoft admits on giving up on the future of Unity.

    Soldiers are horrendously placed over the map, it feels like the person who made the map didn't even try to play a round of Unity. Sword fights are extremely tiring so obviously players prefer the stealth approach, which is also broken as enemies can easy detect movements from kilometers away.

    The story is pretty much bellow average and that epic trailer is just about the co-op missions which "shockingly" is unavailable due to connection errors.    … Expand

I am playing in 2020, when it is still crashed and full of bugs!!! A lot of missions I had to play lots of times because the game crashed in the middle of the mission. And whose idea was that of having two thousandDefinitely one of the worst games that I ever played in my life!! TERRIBLE!! And no, I did not played it in 2014, when it was launched completely crashed and full of bugs. I am playing in 2020, when it is still crashed and full of bugs!!! A lot of missions I had to play lots of times because the game crashed in the middle of the mission. And whose idea was that of having two thousand missions with exactly the same things to do was a nice ideia?? Terribly optimized!!     Сюжет - полный атас (и да, это про сюжеты в АС), ассассин, которого воспитывал тамплиер, мстит тамплиерам за то, что они убили тамплиера, вместе с другим тамплиером, который другой, не такой тамплиер. Куча    Прошло почти 6 лет и в игре до сих пор куча багов, весь Париж в каких-то черных полосах, люди пропадают, вылеты и так далее. Зато фпс стал нормальным, да, спустя шесть то лет.

Куча сюжетных дыр, акценты смещены в какие-то абсолютно никому не нужные места, важные моменты повествования, например отрывок о том как ГГ пришел к тому, чтобы стать ассасином, просто выдернуты из игры. Серьезно, бомж в тюрьме сказал, что ты ассасин, ну все дальше знать необязательно, вырежем из игры два, блин месяца. Главный герой калька с Эцио, но Эцио курильщика, творит какую-то хрень, вроде как герой-ловелас, но при этом тряпка распоследняя, фу. Историческим личностям отведено неприлично мало времени. У нас тут ВФР и огромное количество разнообразных политиков и общественных деятелей? ХМММ, покажем Робеспьера всего на пять минут, три из которых ему рубят голову, с Наполеоном точно так же. Зато вот вам Маркиз де Сад, развлекайтесь.

    Геймплей ничем не примечателен. Вот серьезно. Абсолютно неудобный и скучный стелс а-ля "просто пройди мимо врагов они на тебя все равно не смотрят, а если и смотрят, то сразу отвернутся". Единственное, что можно сказать хорошего, так это наличие города и разного рода объектов и декораций в нем, прямо как во второй части.

    Графон вау. Вот серьезно, игра адски красивая, особенно интерьеры получились на славу, причем как халупы бомжей, так и дворцы с соборами. Но мы тут не в графоний собрались играть, а в игру.

    В общем, поиграйте лучше во что-нибудь другое, игра сырая и скучная, те же самые origins и odyssey вышли куда лучше, а если комп не тянет, то переиграйте в старые части. По сути юнити вышла худшей во всей серии, даже скучнее ревелейшенс (а тут постараться надо).

    To all fellow english speaking users who claim that Unity is "Great AC game ever".
    You are what we call "говноеды" here in Russia, shame on you    … Expand

    Newfound openness of Assassin’s Creed demonstrates just how inadequate its AI really is for a stealth game: pampered nobility usually simply ignores a bloodied body on the dance floor, and guards don’t care much either. At least they’ve learned how to fight: unless you “cheat” with smoke bombs, it’s highly unlikely you’ll survive a melee against a group. [Jan 2015, p.62]

    As I write this, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is a bugfest, but technical problems, however annoying, can and probably will be fixed. It is not cracks in textures that it is the most worrying thing about Unity, but the cracks in game design and writing.
