    O wiele lepsza część niż Origins.

    Ubisoft naprawdę zrobiło dobrą robotę, jednak po dłuższym czasie zaczyna bardzo doskwierać kwestia ogromnego świata i to, że ubisoft w każdym miejscu wrzucili jakieś miejsca, które trzeba zrobić, żeby mieć 100% gry

    It was a great game, but after a while it felt like a job. It was not fun to grind after 70+ hours. It is a great game but unnecessarily long.

    I liked it and didn’t at the same time... I liked: (1)Excellent graphics of the World, nice music and, as always, colossal work on the details of the ancient World and visual. (2)Side quests(half are very boring and flat, but the other half - interesting, and some can be called "strong"). Quests for time and for choice(I rarely took them, but I liked the idea)... Now, what I didn’t like:I liked it and didn’t at the same time... I liked: (1)Excellent graphics of the World, nice music and, as always, colossal work on the details of the ancient World and visual. (2)Side quests(half are very boring and flat, but the other half - interesting, and some can be called "strong"). Quests for time and for choice(I rarely took them, but I liked the idea)... Now, what I didn’t like: (1)A lot of small bugs(getting stuck in rocks and textures for example), a lot of loot, which is impossible to take. (2)Almost all the tombs are almost completely similar. (3)The hero sticks to curbs and other objects as if on glue(sometimes because of this you can't escape or normally fight). (4)Too slooo horse when you exit the city(I hate this horse and because of every call, it starts winding circles around you instead of just stopping nearby). (5)Russian localization, a man often called as a woman, both in voice and subtitles. (6)Once Again, there is a huge difference of power in LVL numbers. And in general, all game progress here is insolently focused on looting(or donation). (6)"I can't help" = "I don't know about the disease"(the choice in dialogues often different from what the hero says). (7)A.I. of enemies and characters is quite dumb even at almost maximum difficulty(they are completely deaf, even when you dance over their heads until they see you - they are blind). (8)The dumbest idea with legendary animals: Absolutely clean swamp, beyond which the boar cannot go, resetting his health is only necessary to take a step beyond the invisible wall and the immortality of the beast even two steps away from that wall - this is visually stupidity. (9)Fights are a bit arcade and chaotic (Sometimes you hits in all directions, neighbors, anyone but not the targeted enemy). However, in fairness, you get used to it after some time. But the whole game does not leave the impression that the word assassin is superfluous in the game, because this Spartan is forced to swing a sword almost all the time, in a small cases - a bow. And the hidden-blade is used insofar as, in contrast to the early games of the series. Oh, Speaking about weapons... (10)No matter how much I leveled-up, how much I overtake the game in levels, after a certain moment, I never felt POWER over the enemy. For example, I almost always needed to use a strong hidden blade skill to KILL an enemy rather than cripple them. And periodically, even this was not enough to the enemies of the same level with me. WTF!? And also, the bonuses of armor and weapons are poorly felt in practice. From the middle of the game, I started to use only one set and to upgrade it, because I simply lost interest in all these pseudo-bonuses(except some unique ones). (11) After Desmond's death in the old game, exits from the "Animus" into reality are fierce crap. What for? For whom? No plot advancements, no key events. In the Odyssey, this, in general, reached its climax: Run a couple of corridors, listen to a couple of dialogues. That's it, damn it. Only in Atlantis DLC it gave us some interesting story scenes. (12) The ship is OK, but it's completely useless against shore. This is surrealistically stupid, when a rain of arrows simply knocks down a soldier without armor by only scratching him a little! And also, in the whole game I have not met a single interesting enemy at sea. Even in story missions(remember the legendary ships in "Black Flag"). (13)It is necessary to give a very strong hit to hands of a man who wrote the riddle "field of centaurs". The third centaur points in a completely wrong!!! direction. (14)I did not notice this, but I agree with whoever said it in another reviews - the bad thing is that the player can climb anywhere and in any way. The charm of parkour and climbing is lost, as it was in the old games. And the terrible skill of immortality when jumping(This is some kind of surrealism, jumping off the mountain!!! and taking no damage, LOL). (15)And the last thing: Too flat and simple ending of the main game's story. What the hell was this?! A huge game with such an ending? "Origins" was good, DLCs were good... Odyssey's main game - sucks. No, I agree that it was interesting ideologically and plot to make alternative endings, but it was NOT supposed to be the final of the whole story, the last mission. "Wasted".
    First DLC: I liked the story of the game. The game-play and other details are the same as in the main game. I didn’t like only two things: (1)The stupidest decision of the game to force the hero to leave the beach for battle, contrary to the general decision. Heroic stupidity = movie cliché. (2)When the hero and the old man are talking in a barn at the shipyard, in the dialogue you say "while we are doing this, I am ready to put up with you". This is just illogical wild nonsense. "Atlantis" DLC: A large, varied, extremely beautiful DLC. Many interesting moments and strong interesting enemies. Especially bosses.

    2) Анимации. Тут всё просто. Мир большой, пустой - анимаций поменьше, а то плойки сгорят. Мы же на эту аудиторию ориентируемся.
    3) Гринд. Левелгриндинг здесь уже на уровне дро**льни. Спасибо, трейнеры и читы еще в моде из-за таких как Ubersoft.
    Подитожив, можно сказать, что каждый раз всё хуже и хуже. Покупать следующие части 100% не буду.

    Today this serie has became to mockery. And this is understood by everyone. Isolating from Assassin's Creed title, we can see that this game isn't bad. But there are many problems not only for AC but for Common RPG too. Yes, It's beauty; yes, It's aesthetic. But for me(So, I think not only for me) this is only her advantages. Unfortunately, all the advantages is fading on background of: 1) Ugly plot. And not only "main" but modern days too. There is trash-born narco. They didn't give a sh*t on modern days and did it for that the "olds" didn't ask. An "olds" assed off. 2) Animations. It's easy. The world is big, empty - less animation or PS4 will be burnt off. Ubi are concentrating only on that platform. 3) Grind. Level-grinding is on the je*king level. Thanks trainers and cheats.
    In the end, I can write everytime AC worst and worst. I won't buy the next part 100%. Also thanks google translator 'cause my Eng skills still like AC Odyssey.    … Expand

    I only played the game this year (2021), and it's easily the most enjoyable one this year so far. There is nothing really revolutionary about it. In fact, it looks like it has been inspired by successful aspects of quite a few other games: it's improving on a massive eye-candy open world of its predecessor (AC Origins), features stealth-clearing forts and camps like in the Far Cry series, cut-scenes and witty dialogs like we've seen in Witcher 3, combat mechanics and animation that resembles of Middle Earth: Shadow of War. Nevertheless, it's a masterpiece in its own right and so much fun to play - which is what counts in the end.    … Expand

    Most beautiful game I've played so far! Flawless! In addition to being graphically beautiful, this game has a wonderful soundtrack! There's so much to do that every time I play I see something different! The only point I didn't like at certain points was the plot, but nothing that makes me give a grade lower than 10!

    After the crysis series it's the first game I finished without any hack. I loved the game loved the theme loved the combat system. I am not much of an AC fan. As you can see from the other reviews most of the AC lovers didn't like the game because the game does not feel like you are playing AC.     Esse jogo me surpreendeu. Nas primeiras horas eu não dava nada por ele, chato, monótono, entediante. Mas conforme eu fui progredindo as coisas começaram a melhorar. A começar pela liberdade que ele te dá de bandeja, seguido pela Grécia Antiga fenomenal que a Ubisoft criou, depois a história começa a te cativar devagarinho. As DLC's só melhoram o pacote.

    Contando com as duas dlcs, esse jogo é um 10. O mapa: enorme. O jogo: divertido pra krl e bonito. Mesmo sendo algo novo e diferente do que ac era na minha opinião ficou muito bom ta maluco e com certeza fate of atlantis é a melhor dlc que eu já joguei até hoje.

    One of best open world exploration games i have ever played. If you play in exploration mode on hard it is significantly better experience than any other Ubisoft open world game. It is also one of the best stealth games i have played including previous AC games, i never realy enjoyed stealth games, yet here i enjoy it as much as regular combat. World is beatiful, story is decent and whileOne of best open world exploration games i have ever played. To close it off, by far best AC i have played, which can stand alongside games like Witcher. If thats an experience you are looking for ( and you play in the exploration mode )… Expand

    Best game of all time! I haven't met better game than this. Of course i played other AC games and only Origins can boast off one of the best games in franchise. Valhalla is good, but story is too long and boring. Odyssey is ideal game. Open world is so huge and amazing just like main protagonist. Just like i wanted. I love Kassandra so much. Alexios is unnecessary protagonist. Is the bestBest game of all time! I haven't met better game than this. Of course i played other AC games and only Origins can boast off one of the best games in franchise. Valhalla is good, but story is too long and boring. Odyssey is ideal game.     I hope ubisoft will continue to make such games, Origins and Valhalla are absolutely nothing like Odyssey. If you play at least 10 hours, you will definitely understand the difference between these games, the elaboration of details, the world, Athens alone gave me more emotions than the whole Valhalla

    There is only one name left of the Assassins and the hidden blade of the main character, and therefore this is no longer the Assassin's Creed and stop shoving levels and ratings, I want to secretly kill enemies with a hidden blade, as before, and not just poke them and fight with them for half a day.

    (after 163 hours of playing & completing the game twice)

    Great gameplay.
    It's a nice story, but there are elements that promote specific social attitudes, which is very tiring mentally.

    Odyssey is the best that Assassin's Creed has been since the original Ezio Trilogy. Any direction you look in could be from a painting; the game is absolutely gorgeous and does a great job at immersing the player in their surroundings. The combat feels fluid and there's plenty to explore in the world. It truly feels like you've traveled into Ancient Greece through your monitor.

    Origins was a strong return to form for the series, and I was happy to see Odyssey carry that torch with pride. It seems to do everything its predecessor did and more.

    For the PC version, I will deduct one point from a full 10 due to performance issues, but that's to be expected for a game as ambitious as this.    … Expand

    This game isn't the same as the older Assassin's Creed games and it feels different to play it, but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing. If you don't expect the game to be a 1:1 copy of older AC games, you will really enjoy this one. It happened to be one of my most favourite games of all time.
    Even tho I am a huge Vikings fan and I played AC Valhalla and really enjoyed it, I must say I    This game isn't the same as the older Assassin's Creed games and it feels different to play it, but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing. If you don't expect the game to be a 1:1 copy of older AC games, you will really enjoy this one. It happened to be one of my most favourite games of all time.

    Обожаю эту игру. Залип на нее основательно. Удобное классное управление, много очень интересных квестов. Не напрягающая атмосфера. Красивейшие виды и пейзажи. Куча оружия и брони. Да все отлично. Снял балл только за бесячие морские сражения и за то, что камеру испортили, отдалили зачем-то и подняли выше. В Истоках она была идеальной, а тут ГГ слишком мелкий, как по мне, так это плохо. Ну иОбожаю эту игру. Залип на нее основательно. Удобное классное управление, много очень интересных квестов. Не напрягающая атмосфера. Красивейшие виды и пейзажи. Куча оружия и брони. Да все отлично. Снял балл только за бесячие морские сражения и за то, что камеру испортили, отдалили зачем-то и подняли выше. В Истоках она была идеальной, а тут ГГ слишком мелкий, как по мне, так это плохо.     assassins creed odyssey adalah game yang sangat baik, walaupun tidak pantas memegang seri assassins creed. Gameplaynya menarik dengan banyak skill dan senjata yang dapat dipilih berdasarkan build yang anda mau, Boss fight juga menark Story agak bertele-tele, seperti mencari musuh yang berada di seluruh penjuru peta, dengan demikian membuat waktu menamatkannya menjadi sangat lama.

    Beautiful game with a breathtaking world and endless possibilities of exploration. The attention to detail is amazing and the combat is very satisfying. But with such a detailed and well thought out world you can't help but notice some of the weird dialogue and copy-pasted faces. All in all it is worth a play.

    Better than Origins that came with a very linear constructed story, tied to the game progression mechanics.

    Still totally bloated though with bad, boring content to turn a 25 hour game into a 140 hour game in order to give the player more time to pay for microtransactions. It’s an exhausting experience.

    This game gives you options then forces you to play a warrior style.

    Example: Cyclops mission. I am picking my way through on assassin trait line walking on the top of the buildings and my proximity triggers a cutscene which forces me to fight 5-6 enemies with 2 elites.

    This is horrible... why give freedom if you need to be a warrior to pass? Uninstalled.

    In general this is beautiful and huge mythological world, really amazing and fun to just explore. But the gameplay itself... lot of grind, not really AC anymore. If not grind-leveling system and stupid enemies but more like black flag playstyle - it would be masterpiece.

    For those crying A.C. is dead, the stealth gameplay is still there for those who want to play it but you can also play a combat and shooting gameplay as well!
    A HUGE and beautifull world, with infinite gameplay due to repeating mechanics and hundreds of hours if u want to do all things, there are tons of things to do. Great    A well made AAA rpg game, close to perfection in all aspects.

What, you thought they went the RPG route in the hopes of giving their stagnating franchise a much needed new breath? Please.

    Combat feels floaty and disconnected from the characters, less    Odyssey continues a revolting Ubisoft trend of actively designing gameplay mechanics that hinder progression and make the game feel artificial and boring in order to incentivize micro-transactions. What, you thought they went the RPG route in the hopes of giving their stagnating franchise a much needed new breath? Please.

    Combat feels floaty and disconnected from the characters, less like they're swinging around steel weapons and more like they're play-fighting with styrofoam toys. Every enemy has an inordinately large health bar and staggers very little from your attacks, so interruptions are very recurrent and completely break the flow of the fight. Your best option to avoid said nuisances is (surprise surprise!) to level up faster in order to unlock absurd magical powers and be able to equip better gear, and what better way of doing that than to hand Ubisoft even more money?

    On the same vein, level disparities between the player and the enemies lead to ridiculous situations such as enemies surviving being stabbed multiple times through the neck by magical weapons. If you're stubborn (and let's be honest here, also slightly psychotic), you can still fight adversaries several levels above your station by hiding in the tall grass and shooting arrows at their face until they die - it's just gonna take half an hour - A.I. isn't smart enough to find you nor run away, so it's doable.

    Don't even get me started on the plot. Several dialogue options and phrases to end conversations are copy-pasted, making the stilted conversations feel even more robotic and emotionless than they already did. Writers couldn't figure out how to tie the plot threads together, so they just didn't, instead leaving the core narratives literally separated into their own progressions and totally incapable of influencing the player or the world at large. Every single conclusion feels detached from your character choices, and the best thing you can hope for is to get one lukewarm cutscene at the end.

    I could spend literal hours complaining about how little your choices matter in this story, but the game does a pretty good job at that with the Spartan-Athenian battles. You can join one side of the battle, conquer the territory for one the factions, then immediately start to sabotage the victors to trigger a new battle and flip the board again, this time siding with the other guys. Repeat ad-nauseum, like you're Sisyphus himself and this is your personal hell - reliving the same battlefield again and again, switching sides on a whim for identical gear that just happens to give 2% extra fire damage. Neither option matters. Your notoriety doesn't matter. Your wishy-washy allegiance is never questioned or meaningful. You could single-handedly conquer all of Greece in the name of Sparta and the game wouldn't care, acknowledge it or let that affect the plot in any meaningful way. There is no point to your soulless existence.

É cada vez mais sobre dinheiro e fazer jogos com 200 horas de gameplay repetitiva e genérica? Se esse é o objetivo então ela está no rumo certo, AC Odysssey tinha tudo para ser um excelente título, mas a mediocridade estava no meio do caminho, muita coisa pra fazer, mas nada de valor no final das contas, apenas mais um jogo que tinha um potencial enorme morrendo na mediocridade.

    300+ hours of play, my verdict is 5/10. Here's why:

    Setting. Greek mythology, the Peloponnesian War, Ancient Greece. Compared to other games (Valhalla, Origins), this is the most interesting and atmospheric one. The setting is very well chosen, just like your main character. Plot. The main quest is interesting, but it is far from a masterpiece. 99% of side-quests are to bring,    300+ hours of play, my verdict is 5/10. Here's why:

    Setting. Greek mythology, the Peloponnesian War, Ancient Greece. Compared to other games (Valhalla, Origins), this is the most interesting and atmospheric one. The setting is very well chosen, just like your main character.

    Plot. The main quest is interesting, but it is far from a masterpiece. 99% of side-quests are to bring, collect or kill. Ubisoft went Ubisoft too far. When you play the game, you notice how lazy the developers were about the plot.
    The story fits very badly with the fact that you are a mercenary and a demigod. You are a demigod who is going to collect some flowers or animal skins just because a random unfamiliar grandmother in town asked for it. Great.
    DLC "The fate of Atlantis" is mediocre, but the landscapes are very beautiful.
    DLC "Legacy of the first blade" is criticised due to the forced romance, but it's not only about that. It had the potential when the player was told that he was mercilessly killing everyone, but that's about it. All the rest is, again, collect, bring, kill.
    However, there were a few interesting side quests: Olympic Games, mythical creatures, and others.

    Perhaps the only major positive aspect of the game — Combat. Oh Lord, there has been a lot of controversy about the changes from the classic games. For the old-AC-players, accept the changes, ignore the Assassins Creed name if you want to enjoy the game. The battles are very interesting. Be it simple soldiers or mythical gods. The rejection of realism in a series of games is justified in battles. Choose your style or combine several: Warrior, Assassin, Hunter = Direct Attack, Stealth, Archery. All this, together with magical abilities, makes the game interesting.

    Character animations: worst thing in the game. Most of the dialogues are accompanied by the same gestures and emotions. I understand that this is costly with so many dialogues, but still, it is repeated in 90% of cases, and it is noticeable. And I am not mentioning the same faces of the characters. There are literally five or six of them, not counting ≈6 unique faces, including main character. MOST of the plot characters are so similar that it gets funny. Considering that I don't complain about this in other games like Fallout 4 or The Witcher 3, this is so terrible for a game of this level.

    Dialogue options. Except a few times, they do not affect the plot AT ALL. There is a sense in them only if you want to kill or leave alive secondary useless characters or have an affair with someone.
    Did I mention the forced romance?

    Additional good moments:
    Soundtrack 10/10.
    The graphics are great. I have already said that the game is beautiful. In the DLC about Atlantis, the game is simply mesmerising.
    While the dialogue is the most frustrating part, some of it is well done. Relevant humour and drama. It is a pity that there were very few such moments.

    Results: Quite frankly, the game keeps your interest only in getting you to farm some cool gear and improve magic skills. Not worth the money.    … Expand

    It's a big open-world game with many areas to explore and I really enjoyed it. if you add a couple of shaders to it the graphics will be gorgeous. gameplay is also very good I enjoy the combat and parkour systems in this game more than the ones in the origins. There is a shortcoming though, the conversations are weak compared to a game like Witcher 3 also the story could be much better itIt's a big open-world game with many areas to explore and I really enjoyed it. if you add a couple of shaders to it the graphics will be gorgeous. gameplay is also very good I enjoy the combat and parkour systems in this game more than the ones in the origins.     - Voice actors did a perfect job. Both characters are awesome.
    - Fort attacking is the most enjoyable thing in the game. You can be a strategist, assassin or warrior.
    - DLCs are perfect. The Fate of Atlantis one is really perfect. Stucks you to game until you finish it.
    - New Game+ is very efficient. I played the game again because of it. And even playing it again, it still feels good.
    - You can change the auto level scaling to light if you want to play only the story. Stop saying that.

    Cons :
    - There is not much "different" quests. Always go and stab some people.
    - You can't decide will you be Athenian or Spartan. I mean, there is sometimes a street war between them, you wanna join the fight but you can attack them both, or they'll attack you. ( Naval fights are more ridiculous )
    - It says " RPG " but in the DLCs, every answer gets you to same ending.
    - Horse riding is not very good, it's sh*t.
    - There's no assassin in this game, only assassin is Darius :D I mean it's called "Assassin's Creed" isn't it?

    Summary :

    This game is 60$. It costs 0.5dollar / hour for me. Guys stop being a dickhead, Ubisoft made it
    perfect. But yeah some more details to game would be perfect. I reeaaally wanted to wear a spartan helmet and get into a spartan fort. Or a little bit more different quests.    … Expand

    Огромнейшая игра в любимом мне сеттинге древней Греции. Контента просто полно. Прохождение заняло 100 часов. И то осталось много контента в этой игре. Сюжет меня заинтриговал. Особенно дополнения оба.

    If you love ancient greece it could be even a 9 (although the social aspect is anachronic at best, the documentation work regarding the design of cities and buildings is almost perfect), but if not... a 7 maybe? it's fun and has outstanding visuals, but the story is simply stupid and silly.

    НЕ ПЫТАЙТЕСЬ проходить это полностью, это опасно для психики.

    227 часов на полное прохождение.
    Сюжет предсказуемый и унылый.
    Неестественные кринжовые диалоги.
    Большая часть персонажей не запоминается.
    Постановка тупо говорящие головы с кривоватыми анимациями.
    Выборов мало и влияют, в основном, только на концовку.
    Однотипные квесты в худших традициях бесплатных корейских мморпг. Побочки повторяются.
    Гринд беспощаден. Ресурсов хватает на прокачку 1 сета брони.
    Кривая боевка, где враги на тебя самонаводятся.
    Сомнительные развороты при ударах, удары которые визуально не доставали и попали, самонаводящиеся стрелы, подтаскивание из-за спины противника и добивание.
    Огромное количество мелких багов. Тонна их.
    Из критичных: пару раз улетал в текстуры, противники в них улетали, один раз квест заглючило.
    Прокачка до 50лвл уныла и постоянно упирается в уровень копья, который завязан на убийстве культистов. Скиллпоинты либо уходят в ненужные скиллы, либо копятся. После 50 лучше.
    По шмоту. Более одного сета прокачивать проблематично и нет привязки набора скиллпоинтов к конкретному набору вещей. Вариативность от этого минимальна.
    Графика хорошая, но все эти пейзажи не вывозят 200+ часов унылого геймплея.
    Музыка ни о чем.
    Анимации в целом кривоваты, но добивания наглухо кривые. Постоянно бьёшь воздух вместо врагов в скриптовых атаках и добиваниях.
    Мир пустой и кроме вопросиков с аванпостами в нем ничего интересного мною найдено не было.
    Логика мира в целом хромает на обе ноги.
    Игра легкая даже на кошмаре, а нпс тупы. Можно заходить с парадного входа и всех убивать спокойно.
    Стелс терпимый, но нпс глухи, слепы и у них нет бокового зрения. Хотя порой видят через стены...)
    Все активности в мире сводятся к аванпостам и 6-7 задачам на них. Боссы легкие, морской бой раздражает, наемники веселят не долго.
    Паркур в стиле человека-паука. Лезть по гладкой мраморной ягодице это норма, а перелезть заборчик высотой по пояс нет.
    Гробницы это просто пример деградации всего и вся... Бежишь вперед, ломаешь стенки, убиваешь змей и двигаешь ящики.
    Про повестку. Я еще ни одной игры не видел, где мне столько раз попытались бы зайти с черного хода.
    Более 15 раз, Карл. Порой, с подкатами в стиле 15-летнего девственника под ягуаром.
    При всём моем нейтральном отношении к реальным геям, эта игра заставляет меня ненавидеть их.
    Про стеройдных женщин в Греции я вообще молчу.    … Expand

    A great game, with beautiful graphics and physics too. It's downside is the extremely huge map, it's an assasin's creed game, yet it lacks stealth effectiveness (no stealth kills whenever you want, like past AC games except for Origins) and too many side quests. Plus, no hidden blade.

    As an RPG/Open Adventure/Stealth Game, it's pretty good. As an Assassin's Creed game, it isn't though. There are however 2 kinds of people who review this game. Those who hate this game because it doesn't really feel like an Assassin's Creed game, and those who can see past that.
    It's like Saints Row 4 compared to Saint's Row 2. It's a good game, it just doesn't feel like Saints Row.

Thankfully most of these things were fixed in Valhalla, but Valhalla is not perfect either. Basically there's still room for Ubisoft to improve. Overall Odyssey is solid, but flawed game. But here's the thing, i'm an Assassin's Creed fan and i need to have one-hit assassinations. Now maybe someone who doesn't care about this, might enjoy this game more. But i still want to give it relatively positive score, because after all it's still part of one of the greatest video game series of all time and it obviously got tons of hate from people who hate AC games in general, so even just for that i have to give it higher score. And i'm one of these players who can literally spend hours underwater exploring ocean. I can't even count how long i spent underwater in GTA 5 for example and with Odyssey they made ocean really interesting. This was huge step-back in Valhalla, because for some weird reason Valhalla ocean is kind of empty. So bonus points for good ocean design in Odyssey.… Expand

    Wonderful game. I've spent a lot of hours just roaming around the map and cleaning the camps and forts, it's a joy for me to sneak into enemy and kill them one by one without getting spotted. The graphics and the story are both great too. Much better game than Origins in my opinion.

    Main story is fine, side quests are okay, even though some are repetitive and dull.
    Graphics is great.
    Combat is engaging with different styles according to skills and weapons.
    Voice acting and music are fantastic.

    I generally disdain games with gratuitous violence. A recent exception is Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. It has an interesting plot, the scenery is gorgeous, there's a wide range of difficulty, voice acting is good and gives me a better sense of what the Greek language sounds like, there's a sense of connecting with important historical characters and places that have always seemed dim andI generally disdain games with gratuitous violence. A recent exception is Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. It has an interesting plot, the scenery is gorgeous, there's a wide range of difficulty, voice acting is good and gives me a better sense of what the Greek language sounds like, there's a sense of connecting with important historical characters and places that have always seemed dim and distant to me, movement feels natural and vigorous including running, walking, swimming, horseback riding, and piloting boats large and small, there is an abundance of varied quests, none of which is of the "kill 30 wild pigs" variety, combat options include rogue, bowman, and melee options (and you have to learn all of them), the adversaries are mostly bad guys and gals, and the Greeks depicted really look like they are from the eastern Mediterranean rather than northern Europe. There's plenty of innuendo but no graphic sexuality. You can inhabit a male or female avatar. Your in-game choices certainly affect your progress in the story. The setting is during the Peloponnesian War, which was a moment of high drama in that part of the world. Be warned that the Great Plague of Athens features in a few scenes. So if you've ever wanted to meet Socrates, Herodotus, and the like, or if you've been wondering where those "gods" all came from, or where they went, it's worth a look. Certainly it's one of my favorite RPGs to date.… Expand

    + great protagonist (go kassandra imo) + top notch authentic voice acting from the protagonists and every other character (im greek too) + vast    (Played in 2020)

    + open world exploration is rewarded, for example you pick up quest items you can need later
    +/- moves way more towards a true RPG game with great skills / items / scaling. can be a con if you dont like that
    +/- classic revenge story with typical AC ending, its ok
    +/- mythological creatures are explained with AC Isu magic
    - microtransactions, not only are they annoying i'd argue you dont need them, dont waste your money
    - present time is not fleshed out
    - present time characters can be annoying, i like the protagonist but hate the supporting cast

    This a beautiful game. You don't get to see ancient greece in 4k every day. I picked it on sale and it is worth it. Not an AC game but an okay RPG with great open world. Will recommend.

    We must say it clear. It's obviously this is not the Assassin's Creed fans best game. I think it's not a real Assassin's Creed game, but as a game I like it a lot. It's true that the game makes you (want it or not) play some side quests to play the main story, but apart from that I liked it very much.

    It look gorgeous, runs well enough. Combat is servicable but its just sooooooooooo boring.
    There are so many pointless side quests that the game forces you to do, you just loose track of everything else interesting going on.
    Basically its just Quantity > Quality

Mas tirando esse fato a gameplay é excelente, tem bugs, pois sua maioria são visuais, mas tem alguns que prejudicam, como por exemplo ao invalidar um navio e abrir o inventario o navio descer até o fim do mapa e não poder atacaar ele. O combate permaneceu igual ao Origins com melhorias, o stealth melhorada com os inimigos sendo menos burros.

    Veredito: Esse é um ótimo game, quem jogou os primeiros jogos da Saga porém não curtiu o The Witcher 3 (exemplo) não deve jogar esse game, pois ele é daqueles que você tem 50 horas e percebe que não fez nada, o game tem microtransações, mas por não ter modo competitivo esse fato é menos importante, porém em futuros games isso pode estragar a diversão dos gamers.    … Expand

    Graphics is amazing. The first 10-20 hours of gameplay is really good. However, after passing certain point of the game, the gameplay becomes in a repetitive grinding mode. Most of the side missions from the main quest isn't related to the story but you have to do it because you don't know where the location is, and this is very annoying. Combat is much more fun and complex than AC Origins and if you wanna go stealth most of the time you still can. Everything that was bad on AC Origins was greatly improved on Odyssey. The only DLC that I enjoyed was the Fate of Atlantis, Legacy of the FirstGraphics are decent, the world is huge and filled with really beautiful landscapes.     The side story in the real world is no longer annoying and convoluted, although at times requires a bit more reading because it clashes with the whole mysticism and religion thing.
    Honestly, get over yourselves and just have some fun, because this is is: fun. On all levels. Not just pressing parry. Anyone who thinks the reboot wasn't necessary either didn't play Syndicate or is just lying to themselves because that was mostly a chore.    … Expand

    GRIND GRIND GRIND that is super simple and not rewarding

    You also keep leveling up super simply for some tallent and abilities but it feels lost

    same thing for ships, it is cool like Black Flag but no fishing and much more simplistic so get Black Flag if you want naval fun.
    You also barely use the boat.

    I played 2 hours and then uninstalled the game.
    Graphics are also to be upgraded, many blurr moment.    … Expand

    After playing Red Dead Redemption 2 this game felt so childish and fuzy. Just a boring loop of fighting and dizzy paper horse riding experience. The game shouldn't be that long.

    The latest addition to the Assassin's Creed franchise is truly a wonder and a fresh take on a stale idea. The excellent execution, gameplay and story is only overshadowed by greedy micro transactions, paid XP and awful optimization.

    While AC: Origins was packed with interesting stories, Odyssey is a generic ’Ubisoft sandbox’ in the worst sense, with hundreds of the same-looking places, dozens of ”kill-fetch” quests and almost zero motivation to grind further.
