Bright and colourful, charming and replayable, Arcadegeddon offers a cathartic thrill while promising to scratch that ever-present loot itch.

Rescue of arcade games in wild co-op offers great fun in the first few hours. Unfortunately, it will not retain players for very long. Mainly because of the lack of content and the emerging stereotype.

When Arcadegeddon does what it’s supposed to do, it’s a rollicking good time. Experimenting with the zany weapon types, getting my butt kicked in the Battle Modes, and interacting with the vibrant neon world is so inviting. However, all those bright and sparkling qualities didn’t matter when Arcadegeddon’s glitches became too obtrusive to ignore. It’s a shame, as the game has a lot of potential to be a fan favourite for those who love to squad up with their mates and have a laugh whilst being challenged. As it is though, I would wait a bit longer to sink my teeth into this co-op experience.

For early access, it's definitely promising. The bare bones of the game shine through. The gameplay is fun, fast, and super stylish. The artFor early access, it's definitely promising. The bare bones of the game shine through. The gameplay is fun, fast, and super stylish. The art direction and colors are amazing, and it brings a new perspective to the rogue-like genre. However, the strengths don't overshadow the weaknesses, the main one being the lack of different content. The trailer shows a vast variety of levels and enemies. Unfortunately in the current build, after about 2-3 hours, you've found most of the different enemies and have already played through the same 3-5 level environments. Not to mention the 3 repetitive missions in every level. Tldr: good base idea, but needs more content, which hopefully comes later since it's still early access Expand

Incredible gameplay and graphics but the systems such as progression need a lot more work. Ultimately, there's not really a goal in this gameIncredible gameplay and graphics but the systems such as progression need a lot more work. Ultimately, there's not really a goal in this game besides "have fun", which can get old quick when there's nothing to work towards. Expand
