    Many of these people are complaining about non-issues. They are complaining about Apex Legends because its not titan fall. The scummy loot boxes are here, but at least its only cosmetic. Finally there is the repeated comment of something, something Fortnite. While it has slight similarities with emotes, the game plays much more like Titanfall meets Black Ops 4.     Forces you to play in a group of three, meaning unless you play with friends you will always be partnered with at least one person that immediately runs off on their own and dies.

    Надеюсь игру будут развивать. Это просто кайф: они взяли от каждого актуального на сегодняшний баттл рояля по кусочку и сделали прекрасную игру. Не так тягомотно, не нужно бесконечно отстраиваться, есть отдельные персонажи со своими способностями. Еще и бесплатно в отличии от бо4.
    Также стоит отметить отличную оптимизацию в отличии от ПУБГ, которому я посвятил довольно много времени.    Надеюсь игру будут развивать.     The game's pretty bad with it's optimization, apparently a GTX 1060 Ti can't properly run this game at 1080p and 60 FPS. Also firing a Kraber .50-CAL Sniper can just crash the game.

    Games balancing is horrible. Most of the guns are glorified bb guns. A typical fight plays out with you shooting someone 10 times with any gun and them turning and shooting you twice with any gun and insta killing you. Sniper rifles? you can shoot someone 3 or 4 times and still have them walking around.

    All of the lowest reviews for this game are not legitimate. You can't rate a game that you're unable to play, or one that you haven't played, or one that you've barely touched. A review should come after deliberate experimentation and trial.

    That being said, I've sunken over 30 hours into this game already in the past several days.     That being said, I've sunken over 30 hours into this game already in the past several days. I am also someone that has played Fortnite, PUBG, and Blackout to a good extent. I got entirely burned out of the BR genre and had expected that I would never want to play one again. However, I gave this a chance after hearing of other people's surprise by it's quality. After doing so, I learned for myself how incredible it really is. They took almost every good aspect of other BR games, removed the bad, and implemented heap-fulls of new mechanics that make you ask yourself why no one else has thought of putting them into the previous BR games.

    This game focuses on team-play. Many people don't like that they don't have single or two-player modes, but they intentionally didn't include them, it's not that they didn't add them out of laziness. They made the decision that in order to play the game as intended, you need a team of 3, no more, no less. Understanding that fact should make you focus on how to best use and support your team. And they've implemented many new mechanics and tools to help with that team focus, i.e. the new ping system.

    I give this game a solid 10 because of the obvious care that Respawn Entertainment put into this game. True, they have expensive micro-transactions, but because of that, the game is free. You also do not ever need to buy anything in the game. So far, everything that's been in the micro-transaction store has been available for free unlock through just normal playing of the game, even the other Legends (characters).

    This game was done right, and for that, they deserve a better User Score than 6.9 as it stands now. It's only that low because of all of the 0 ratings it's received by those who don't know the purpose of posting a "review" of a game.    … Expand

    I actually dislike Battle Royale. The games that come from this genre never managed to interest me at all, PUBG i consider to be an unpolished mess, Fortinie has been just a snore fest and the artstyle, which is admittetly subjective, looks awful.
    Apex Legends is so far the only Battle royale i enjoyed playing.

    `The ability to climb, slide and use ziplines give you a lot of mobility to travel through the map horizontal and verticaly.
    `A class system to slightly mix up the old BR formula.
    And it is Free to play, no Pay2Win, and shows way more polish than other F2p games so close after release.
    Only concerns are Server issues and occasional lag that caused me to die from time to time and the overall future of this game in regards of new content.
    Also its EA. But i have hopes that Respawn will manage to keep those influences away from this game.    … Expand

    Literally the best BR game in existence(in my opinion). At first i thought it was just another crappy, unfinished BR game but no, it's not. Actually it is a lot of fun, i enjoyed every hour although i have to mention the lack of "Legends" and Guns but they've already said that they will be adding more of them so no big problem there.     The game showed a good side, but still leaves a double location to it. The developers simply took the rest of the BR and added to it. TITANFALL+PUBG + COD: BLACKOUT + FORTNITE + OVERWATCH = APEX LEGENDS. 8 of 10. It is played 50/50

    I first discovered the game watching Shroud play it and completely destroying everyone.
    I then downloaded the game and tried it out.
    Everything really feels polished graphic wise, but it's also having this generic si-fi elements that are quite annoying.     When I then played the first round I really didn't like how the weapons look, even if their handling is really nice. My problem with si-fi shooters is that you can't really relate to these weapons which makes it hard to really get what's an AR or SMG in the first place. I really don't get the point why guns have to look like that.
    But whatever. The game play really nice and the movement itself is really satisfying. On the other hand, the movement is the biggest issue to me. All this sidestepping to dodge bullets and the fact that everyone feels like a bullet sponge makes it extremely hard for me to really like the gun play even if everything feels responsive. If they can add some strong inertia to the movement without making it painfully horrible to play, I think it can be really great.

    The hero system isn't that big of a problem imo. It's kinda "unique" even if other shooters, even br games, did that before.    … Expand

    A great addition to the BR genre, i'm having great fun playing this game with friends. Its adds so many new features to Battle Royale, making the game unique and fresh. Combining Overwatch's hero system with the fluid and fast movement of Titanfall, makes Apex a must try. This game has no where to go but up. I'm excited for it to grow and add more heroes and maps to the game.

Trailer overpromised and game underdelivered so badly that I already deleted this game.

    Don't care who made it or what universe it's set it. Too many people complaining about silly crap. Enjoy the game, it's wicked sick.

    While you can clearly see that this is a well made game, and was created by a professional studio, it is really about average at best. I don't have a problem with battle royal mode, but having heroes with abilities just doesn't feel right here. Also you are forced to play with at least two other people, which is just ridiculous. Time to kill is freaking ridiculous and extremely inconsistent, because of the design of the game and heroes, you can either kill people with single hit, or have a minute long gunfight where you are just pumping each other full of bullets.

    This is new game and its exciting, but I see people dropping it for whatever they were playing before, or moving to new things once this will get stale here in a bit. Once again, not a bad game, just a mediocre BR game with some questionable design elements that were put into the game to make it "unique" but really don't work that great.    … Expand

    This game is actually pretty good, the launch was pretty good (The only problem i've gotten was a bit of lag for 20 seconds). the finishers are cool, all characters feel fun with to play. guns feel balanced and movement feels amazing.

    Apex Legends takes the excellent gunplay from Titanfall 2, battle royale mechanics from Fortnite and PUBG and the class system from Overwatch to make one of the most unique, versatile and robust battle royale experience that the current market offers.

    It is truly a game that keeps you wanting to play more not just for the loot-boxes but for the fun to have from playing the game .

The map isn't too big so you don't run like 10 miles to come across a player like in other games. I like the squad sinergy. Ping system is awesome. Guns are cool and gameplay is smooth. There are some great innovations they had such as the ping system and having a drop leader, as long as being able to revive characters. However things such as getting rid of the source engine and changing recoil patterns for guns such as the hemlock and flatline makes me disappointed. It is honestly amazing how they were able to create a game that contrasts its predecessors so much.
    I am happy that this game does not contain the word titanfall. RIP Titanfall 3    … Expand

    I love this game. This game is the masterpiece of battle royale. IT has everything that I love about BR this game is just amazing good optimized and good gameplay. This game is really fun altough they need to add it to steam and add DUO,SQUAD,Solo

This game, unlike others in the genre, actually puts its own unique twist on things. The legends system lets you choose certain playable characters to help your team in various ways this means the character selection can mix things up every game. Overall the game is fun and free, I would recommend most at least give it a shot as it literally cost you nothing.… Expand

    Finally a battle royale game with some innovation!
    Great classes, great gunplay, great ideas (ultimate skills, reviving teammates), and a optimal time-to-kill.

    I don't like the genre, but this one is GREAT!!

    Battle Royale with Titanfall shooting. Pretty good game. Brings few cool features that other BR games lack, like sharper movement, an ability to revive teammates after death, special abilities. Yes, we could've seen another TF game, but I'm sure that one would've not sold well. If this one does well, it will build a great foundation for the next TF game.

    Shooting and movement feel a lot like CoD Black Ops 4, but people who played it would probably compare this game to Titanfall.

    Although not the first, Apex tries to introduce classes/heroes to the genre. The first attempt I remember was Realm Royale, but Apex just does it better. Heroes with personalities, easy to understand abilities, picking phase before the match, all heroes can use all weapons and having the majority of heroes unlocked for free from the start is great.

    You will have two opportunities to respawn before you get killed for good; one is getting downed, and other is, a surviving teammate can call you with a dropship if they have your banner/dog tag. Which is different and I think it adds to the genre.

    The only downside of Apex right now is that it doesn't have solo, duo or quad modes, only triples. But the game design is so focused on triples that I don't think I would want to play solo in this game.

    There is also no vehicles in this game, but also no fall damage, and you can slide downhill pretty fast, there are zip lines and elevator lines you can use to get to places.

    Overall, the comprehensive callout system, the snappy shooting, graphics, music and voice-overs are very high quality and I would recommend this game to anyone who is interested in the genre.    … Expand

    I personally don`t like battle royales, but this game managed to renovate on many aspects of the genere. It nailed squad communication due to the pinging system, which also helps solo players communicate with their squads.

If you're into trying every different BR game out there in every couple of months, then you might as well try that one too to experience the futuristic & flashy BR shooter with robots. The game is free and could be fun to some people when playing with friends in first few hours but In my opinion that's all for most people who are expecting a bit more from a (and I quote) Triple-A title.

    Unfortunately the game's main focus seems to be getting you hooked on different direct microtransactions, loot boxes and battle passes to make some quick bucks for EA... and oh boy how many different options the game has in store! EA has come a long way to learn how to promote it's microtransactions after horribly handled Battlefront II and it brings to question if the store and it's features were the main priority when developing the game when seeing these high detail skins and models vs the actual game environment and mechanics dating years behind in terms of quality.

    The game seems dull and obnoxious, I tried my best to invest myself emotionally but it sadly brings almost nothing new to the BR scene (when leaving out the futuristic world) and therefore is an unnecessary addition to the pool of BR games. There was a chance to make a difference with putting in some actual effort but even Fortnite and Ring of Elysium (which are both in Early Access) seem less rushed than this Titanfall-without-Titans game.     Polished, easy controls, gorgeous art style and fluid squad communication. This is possibly the best free to play battle royale, defiantly worth your time.

    Downloaded this just as it was announced, and must say I'm impressed. In a crowded field of battle royale games, this one is able to innovate and put an emphasis on team-play that I haven't seen any other game do.

    Apex Legends Is simply one of the best Battle Royale games ever made. What makes this game so great is ping system for easy communications, and Titanfall-esque gameplay with charismatic characters.
