    I personally don`t like battle royales, but this game managed to renovate on many aspects of the genere. It nailed squad communication due to the pinging system, which also helps solo players communicate with their squads.

    What an incredible game, its one of the best shooters ever made just because they reused Titanfall 2 assets. One small complaint is that if it wasn't a battle royale it would be much better.

    It has some good features and some bad features. But what really stands out is the communication. You can ping everything. When you see an enemy in PubG you can tell your allies by saying "yea over there at 345 and then they have to calculate where you are standing and in which direction you have to look at your position.     And the game needs this a lot if you're playing alone. Because you are never really alone. If you decide to go in solo you'll get 2 randoms. It's currently not possible to go in with less or higher squad count. Which is a bummer, in both ways.

    The characters are unique, and each one can be a play maker in their one way. On a side note and not really important, most of them are pretty ugly.
    The map (the only one available yet) is packed with stuff, not a single spot on it feels empty.

    The game is free 2 play so I'd recommend anyone to try it out.    … Expand

    The BR game that i can actually enjoy. Gunplay is amazing, also there is extremely little inventory management, which really takes away from the BR games.

    It has many microtransactionable items in the game but honestly they look incredible and honestly next-gen which animated camouflage patterns and such.     When it was leaked and then announced that Respawn was working on a Battle Royale game I was pretty disappointed and just assumed it would get swallowed up and have been a waste of time and money for the company. After it launched, I watched gameplay and saw how much fun people were having with it, so decided to give it a shot.

After it launched, I watched gameplay and saw how much fun people were having with it, so decided to give it a shot.

    Initially, I wasn't thrilled with the relative lack of mobility as compared to Titanfall, but Respawn gave valid reasons why they didn't include it, and technically this isn't a Titanfall game, just set in the same universe. It took a bit, but I got used to the lack of wall running and double jumping and am okay with it now.

    The gameplay is relatively fast, after getting used to the interface and how the game plays (never played a BR game before) it's pretty well laid out and not overwhelming, with a lot of quality of life features that streamline the experience to allow me to concentrate on the gameplay. The Ping system is also great, even useful when you do have mics.

    This really does feel like a labor of love from Respawn, as EA was not actually involved in the development aside from funding the game. Respawn wanted to make this and the effort they put in shows, I just hope they can continue to provide updates and content enough to keep the game going strong. As I see it, this game will just help to get more people introduced into the Titanfall universe, which will help whatever future Titanfall game Respawn decides to make.    … Expand

Now (1,5 years later) I'm playing this game with my friends in this game. We aren't playing ranking because there are a lot of cheaters and we came to this game just for fun. If you will play Apex like that, you will have fun.     1.The problem of ANY battle royal is the bad loot, so sometimes you will die just because somebody has the better gun or armor.

    3.There is no solo game, so you must cooperate with you teammates.
    The shooting isn't bad but isn't perfect. It's mediocre.
    The game is way more dynamic than any other popular battle royale.

    Apex Legends takes the excellent gunplay from Titanfall 2, battle royale mechanics from Fortnite and PUBG and the class system from Overwatch to make one of the most unique, versatile and robust battle royale experience that the current market offers.

    It is truly a game that keeps you wanting to play more not just for the loot-boxes but for the fun to have from playing the game .

    This is BR done right, mechanics, polish and monetisation seems on point and considering this game came straight out of nowhere as a full release product is a big plus. (Fornite is still in 'beta', lol)
    As other people said though, I would love more of Titanfall's mechanics in this, wall jumps and riding would be a big big plus.

    Apex Legends has great gunplay (based on Titalfall 2), a good map and diverse characters. That makes it easily the best battle arena game to date.

    Probably the best battle royale on the market right now. Ping system is perfect, nice hero balance and diversity, optimal server stability and hit registration, loot boxes for skins with luck protection and % and it already has a road map. It's gratis so give it a shot!

    Надеюсь игру будут развивать. Это просто кайф: они взяли от каждого актуального на сегодняшний баттл рояля по кусочку и сделали прекрасную игру. Не так тягомотно, не нужно бесконечно отстраиваться, есть отдельные персонажи со своими способностями. Еще и бесплатно в отличии от бо4.
    Также стоит отметить отличную оптимизацию в отличии от ПУБГ, которому я посвятил довольно много времени.    Надеюсь игру будут развивать.     These are the points i really like about this game:
    - Movement smooth af, a little bit slower than titanfall but thats okay
    - the UI is well thought out and clearly arranged, I love the colorcodes for ammo
    - the ping system is so simple yet so powerful, communicating with my team was never a problem
    - the Legends abilitys are not too powerful but still can turn a fight if used in the right way
    - the map is perfect for BR, no widely open areas where you get sniped outa nowhere
    - gunplay is hard in the beginning but even more satisfying after you learn how to pre-aim

    My only bad point at this game are:
    - it takes at least 15 hours or more to get enough credits to buy a new legend, this could be a little bit less time consuming
    - finishers take waaaaay to long, you get killed most the time while doing them
    - some areas are so bright it hurts my eyes at night, I need an gamma slider ffs!
    - currently the servers are crippling under the huge load and this leads to crashes or disconnects (though this point should be temporarily)

    Most of these bad points can be easily fixed but all in all it is a well polished game. Try it out it is F2P and not P2W.    … Expand

    it's funny and amazing characters are so good game-play so magical it has a lot of ideas
    it's a good a game and i'm curios about the back story of each character and i hope we see something about them even if it's an animated short like overwatch

    no me habia gustado ningún battle royal e hasta que jugué apex legends. no es el mejor juego pero si es uno de los juegos en los que he invertido mas tiempo.
    es un juego rápido y vertiginoso, que se hace mas disfrutable si lo juegas con amigos ya que en los modos competitivos el nivel es muy alto y se requiere sincronización con todo el equipo.

    Один из лучших игр в жанре Королевской битвы, Динамика игры просто супер.
    Но есть проблемы с серверами(лагает/выкидывает)
    Нет возможности переподключиться к матчу.

    This game seems to have nailed it for me in terms of multiplayer games. Excellent weapon design and balance, great characters with different available game styles, good map design. TTK is high enough for you to enjoy a shootout like you mean it, yet it is still low enough to a point where you can't just run and gun across half the map as if in a rambo movie.     Apex Legends is just an awesome BR game! The movement is so good, the graphics are perfect for a BR, the game plays great and gunplay is amazing! All the content we have gotten lately, the new map and Shadowfall for example have been amazing and is at the Fortnite level or even better!

    With this now being EA's core game going into 2020 I'm just expecting more greatness from it! I do    Apex Legends is just an awesome BR game! The movement is so good, the graphics are perfect for a BR, the game plays great and gunplay is amazing! All the content we have gotten lately, the new map and Shadowfall for example have been amazing and is at the Fortnite level or even better!

    This game is good FPS shooter,but without the narrative.The developers sometimes posts lore videos on their channel and create lore component .The gameplay is perfect the ping mechanic , and the weapons from Titanfall 2 are cool.

However, this game suffers latency and connection issues which hasn't been fixed to this date. Developers release tons of new contents every season, they are interesting and good.

    Very good game without bugs. This game has a lot of bug but Respawn solved them mostly. I think Apex is the best battle royale game ever. Also it has a story in Titanfall universe.But biggest problem is this game needs new updates, new event or new characters.

    To be honest i thought i wouldn't have a chance of winning because..... well it's a battle royal that was out for a while, but i ended up winning with all of the starter legends within a week.
    Long story short if you are a fan of titanfall 2 or battle royals in general you will like this game.

    apex is a great shooter when you are alone or with friends! apex has a smooth combat feel to the guns which is really satisfying. there is sadly a bit pay to win in apex with the characters' costing $. the game constantly getting updated and character's and to this day many people play this game including me. to get the most out of this game, pop a Spotify lo-fi track and fire up a match.

    I love this game but there is some problems. 1: There is no solo mode 2: When players die they left from the match and this is a big problem because for example when i play trios my other squadmates dying and i take their banner but they leave the match. I think this need to stop. And apex coins are so expensive in my country i live in Turkey and 1000 apex coin is 75 papel for me.     Great game that keeps me coming back for over 2 years. The guns are unique and fun to find what one is right for me. Winning is super satisfying and I feel I get better with every game. The legends are unique and there is one for every play style. The only con is that your placement and land spot is heavily influenced by your teammates

Blackout is fun but the game has a high price and you need a fairly beefy PC in order to play it and have a good time which means the player pool is pretty small to the point where currently I can't get a solo game, duo game and have to wait a very very very long time for a quads match. Fortnite is fine but I don't like the building mechanic that is central to the game which is a shame.

    Enter Apex, they've managed to release a finished game, which is unheard of nowadays. Everything just works and works very well. There are plenty of guns, the loot is good, the map is fun and there are lots of elements such as the class system that I have been wanting in a BR for ages. They are really ahead of the curve with this title and the fact that it is free is great. It means the longest I've had to wait to get into a new match is about 30sec, and that is the longest. The game hit the ground running and I have faith that they will be investing the resources into this game with better and better content as they adapt to how players engage with the game.

    All I can say is despite it being free I am more than happy to spend my hard earned cash in the game. And that is something I can't say for any other free to play game to date.    … Expand

    Shooting and movement feel a lot like CoD Black Ops 4, but people who played it would probably compare this game to Titanfall.

    Although not the first, Apex tries to introduce classes/heroes to the genre. The first attempt I remember was Realm Royale, but Apex just does it better. Heroes with personalities, easy to understand abilities, picking phase before the match, all heroes can use all weapons and having the majority of heroes unlocked for free from the start is great.

    You will have two opportunities to respawn before you get killed for good; one is getting downed, and other is, a surviving teammate can call you with a dropship if they have your banner/dog tag. Which is different and I think it adds to the genre.

    The only downside of Apex right now is that it doesn't have solo, duo or quad modes, only triples. But the game design is so focused on triples that I don't think I would want to play solo in this game.

    There is also no vehicles in this game, but also no fall damage, and you can slide downhill pretty fast, there are zip lines and elevator lines you can use to get to places.

    Overall, the comprehensive callout system, the snappy shooting, graphics, music and voice-overs are very high quality and I would recommend this game to anyone who is interested in the genre.    … Expand

    Battle Royale with Titanfall shooting. Pretty good game. Brings few cool features that other BR games lack, like sharper movement, an ability to revive teammates after death, special abilities. Yes, we could've seen another TF game, but I'm sure that one would've not sold well. If this one does well, it will build a great foundation for the next TF game.

    Downloaded this just as it was announced, and must say I'm impressed. In a crowded field of battle royale games, this one is able to innovate and put an emphasis on team-play that I haven't seen any other game do.

This game, unlike others in the genre, actually puts its own unique twist on things. The legends system lets you choose certain playable characters to help your team in various ways this means the character selection can mix things up every game. Hopefully they start working on a new map and FAST. because BR titles need more diversity in the map departments. Something pubg actually succeeded in (eventually).

    The game showed a good side, but still leaves a double location to it. The developers simply took the rest of the BR and added to it. TITANFALL+PUBG + COD: BLACKOUT + FORTNITE + OVERWATCH = APEX LEGENDS. 8 of 10. It is played 50/50

    That being said, I've sunken over 30 hours into this game already in the past several days. I am also someone that has played Fortnite, PUBG, and Blackout to a good extent. I got entirely burned out of the BR genre and had expected that I would never want to play one again. However, I gave this a chance after hearing of other people's surprise by it's quality. After doing so, I learned for myself how incredible it really is. They took almost every good aspect of other BR games, removed the bad, and implemented heap-fulls of new mechanics that make you ask yourself why no one else has thought of putting them into the previous BR games.

    This game focuses on team-play. Many people don't like that they don't have single or two-player modes, but they intentionally didn't include them, it's not that they didn't add them out of laziness. They made the decision that in order to play the game as intended, you need a team of 3, no more, no less. Understanding that fact should make you focus on how to best use and support your team. And they've implemented many new mechanics and tools to help with that team focus, i.e. the new ping system.

    I give this game a solid 10 because of the obvious care that Respawn Entertainment put into this game. True, they have expensive micro-transactions, but because of that, the game is free. You also do not ever need to buy anything in the game. So far, everything that's been in the micro-transaction store has been available for free unlock through just normal playing of the game, even the other Legends (characters).

    This game was done right, and for that, they deserve a better User Score than 6.9 as it stands now. It's only that low because of all of the 0 ratings it's received by those who don't know the purpose of posting a "review" of a game.    … Expand

    I don't like battle royale games but this one has me hooked! The shooting feels satisfying and the legends are fun to play. I played Titanfall 2 and loved their multi-player so I'm glad we get to see it return here. It's a free to play game that is actually polished and fun to play.

    So what people say?

    1. Game has micro-transactions
    So what? How does a machine-gun painted with pink and butterflies affects your performance? Standard skins have high quality and decent looks. Only things worth buying for anyone who wants something new are new legends, they don't cost too much and it is absolutely fair.

    2. It should have *** like other Titan games
    I haven't played Titan games and I don't see 'titan' in the name of this game. Wth?

    3. It is team only, and you cant win without a team of friends.
    Random teams plays absolutely okay. I had around 60 plays and we got to the top1 16 times which says winning in the game is no problem. Yes, sometimes you get newbies, other times you get experienced players. Want stable results - bring a friend which I did in the end.

    4. Lags, poor optimizations and so on
    I have seen a lot of AAA game starts, like BF series, and every start is a ton of issues that makes the game unplayable for hours if not days. And I was amazed how well this game runs on its start I had no issues whatsoever. My friend has old CPU and 1060 card which is average at best and he had nothing to complain about.

    About the game itself. I'm not a good writer and I'm sure all things were covered by other reviewers but I would like to confirm a few things I liked very much.
    1. The game feels very optimized and runs very smoothly, in terms of input lag, FPS and network. You feel everything in the game under control and that feeling is so crucial for action games.
    2. Gameplay is so intense and it makes it very good. The gameplay itself and everything in the game organized in a way that you don't have to spend your time waiting for something. You have a new match in a few seconds and match starts very fast no need to wait minutes for other players and other loading screens.
    3. In game pinging is very cool and makes game enjoyable and coordinated for a team with no mics.

    The game has only one map at this moment and after playing 30 hours you know it by heart. I hope we will see more content very soon.    … Expand

    This game is actually pretty good, the launch was pretty good (The only problem i've gotten was a bit of lag for 20 seconds). the finishers are cool, all characters feel fun with to play. guns feel balanced and movement feels amazing.

Actually it is a lot of fun, i enjoyed every hour although i have to mention the lack of "Legends" and Guns but they've already said that they will be adding more of them so no big problem there. I was a bit disappointed by the microtransactions by the EA factor but did not influence the game very negatively. Still for me one of the best games created in 2019 so far, but we have a lot to wait because we are still at the beginning of a year full of games to be released.

Also the teamplay is good due to the amazing ping system and automated voice lines making it easy to play with randoms.     The only Battle Royale game worth playing. The only people giving this game negative reviews are either bad at playing with a team and want solo queue, are mad that it's not Titanfall 3, or wrote the game off simply because it's a BR. Find 2 friends and play this game, it's fantastic.

If you were to get downed by an enemy, your teammate has the chance to revive you (like every battle royal) but If you were to get killed, your teammate can grab your tag and bring it to a revive station. BAM, you're back in the game. This adds a unique spin and I love it.

    One this that should be said is that right now you can only play as a 3 person team. I've played a good amount of games with a full squad and as solo w/ randoms. So far I've won 2 games with the squad and 1 game with just one random. Regardless, each match was fun, entertaining, and exciting. I know that they will be adding more game match options but even as it it now, its fun!

    I've player majority of the battle royal games out today and this is how I would put them into order (top being better):

    Apex Legends
    PUBG
    Fortnite
    Black Ops: Blackout
    Ark: Survival of the Fittest
    H1Z1
    Realm Royale
    The Culling

    I am excited to see where this game goes!

    Apex Legends leva o excelente tiroteio de Titanfall 2, Battle Royale Mechanics de Fortnite e PUBG e o sistema de classes de Overwatch para criar uma das mais exclusivas, versáteis e robustas experiências de batalha real que o mercado atual oferece.

    É verdadeiramente um jogo que mantém você querendo jogar mais não apenas pelas caixas de saque, mas pela diversão de jogar o jogo.

    Apex Legends Is simply one of the best Battle Royale games ever made. What makes this game so great is ping system for easy communications, and Titanfall-esque gameplay with charismatic characters.
