This **** needs instructions that my processor doesn't support. I read about it on the Internet and it turned out that this was not there before, but appeared only after the update.     December 2021 update: Numerous improvements have been made. I have not come across any players that I suspected were cheating since I've revisited the game within the past two months. Great game now, although I would like to be able to play all the maps available not just a selected 2 or 3.

    I had to give Apex Legends a try. It is, after all, free to play. I've been having a lot of fun with it. It is a challenging multiplayer game. Gun fights are exhilarating, and the mechanics and feel of the game is quite responsive. Player hit boxes are appropriately sized. I've not experienced any latency issues. The graphics look great. The game runs smoothly on my GTX 1060 at highest settings. The map (only 1 thus far), is superb, there are some very cool environments (zones) all packed into a single map.

    I only have a few criticisms.
    -A number of the characters seem like they were ripped from Borderlands (Siren, Maniac (Octane)) and Overwatch. Three of the 'legends' require a lot of time playing to unlock or can be purchased with real money. though they are not needed to enjoy the game as it is quite balanced.
    -There are a number of cheaters playing. While it took a while until I identified a cheater with aim bots, I did find 2 within only an hour of playing during one evening. One was my random team-mate and then another that i suspected and spectated to see that indeed the player was using an aim bot. Apex Legends is a successful free to play multiplayer game, and thus, cheats are to be expected. I just hope it doesn't get any worse and the developers stay on top of it.

    the game is so fun BUT there is croos play without MnK option especially there are cheaters on Consoles who use adapters .

    Several bugs
    Braindead meta
    No competitive integrity

    Sadly that is it. The server management is horrible. 60 ping in 1 game then 200 ping for the    Best Battle Royale game. The only one that feels different. Has the best gunplay and movement in FPS games right now. Has the best innovations like the creative ping system, the first BR with the respawn concept, ziplines, vaults, etc. Lastly, it is currently the only BR with multiple maps.

    Sadly that is it. The server management is horrible. 60 ping in 1 game then 200 ping for the next. Its gameplay (especially in Ass Canyon and Openlympus) is either:

    1. Find nobody until 10 squads left then after you find and fight 1, the 3rd 4th 5th 69th party comes for your necks
    2. You drop hot and die early game (if you survive the hot drop it would be the same as 1, that is the peak experience for the game)

    I am so tired of the game right now that I moved to a game that prioritizes winning over getting high kills (Valorant). The game is too casual right now (its just for the kills) unlike Valorant which is probably the FPS game with the highest competitive integrity right now. I am new to the game right now and there is no agent that you can play properly without some mastery unlike in Apex a lot of legends (Octane (especially with Revenant), Bloodhound, Seer, Caustic, and Gibraltar just to name a few) are too noob friendly and also the guns (L-Star, Rampage, Charge Rifle, Devotion (especially with Turbocharger) and R301 just to name a few also). Also, there are some annoying braindead legend combinations like the infamous RevTane (its nerfed now but still braindead)

    I also don't like the ranked system. There should be no "freebie rank" in any competitive game but in Apex the real ranked experience starts at Platinum. The consequence at losing in Bronze, Silver, and Gold is just not punishing. You can troll 5 straight games hotdrop and die first then on your 6th game you win the game and every "punishment" you had gets erased. On mid elo and high elo a lot of players just hide for RP until they can get an actual good game - making the system "grind over skill". A player who rats a lot and has horrendous aim and gamesense could get to Plat while a player who has decent aim and decent gamesense could be hardstuck gold because they take fights a lot and get 3rd partied a lot in the process. The ranked system doesn't promote playing smartly. You either rat, grief others while giving up your positioning, or be the one griefed.

    Lastly, the lack of content. Dry af. At this pace, the game is gonna die.

    This game was my favorite FPS at one point but it just stinks right now. I no longer grind it. There is just no reason to. I just play it casually and occasionally. Oh about Arenas. I forgot about it just like the majority of the playerbase.

    TL;DR = Probably has the worst servers in any multiplayer game right now. Ranked system is ass. Meta is braindead. Olympus and Kings Canyon are bad maps. Worlds Edge is good for ranked but also ass for pubs. Storm Point is boring af. Best BR? Yes. By far. Best FPS? No. By far    … Expand

    Best battle royal out there the character choices are really fun and are always being balanced keeping the meta varied over the years, you can easily play for hours and not get bored. Seasons can be come stangnent about half way through due to un-interesting events every so often. Seems well optimsed since everyone I know can run the game.

    The game is disgusting. technical implementation at the level of a school project. problems with optimization, servers, cheaters - that's what the game is made of. this game is one big problem. the developers are unable to fix old bugs from the time of the game release, and technical support does not work at all. Every new update only brings more bugs and problems to the game.

    Well Bahrein servers are empty :) all the time. I couldn't find a battle royal match to play. overall servers are not even close to acceptable!

    What an incredible game, its one of the best shooters ever made just because they reused Titanfall 2 assets. One small complaint is that if it wasn't a battle royale it would be much better.

This most recent season "Escape" is the first time since season 4 the game has felt balanced (nearly an entire year). Unfortunately the devs have taken a page out of ubisofts book and seek to keep making unnecessarily large maps. 4 maps, 2 of them insanely big, 1 is pushingI have been playing this game since day 1.     As for the gaming experience, this has too be my favorite FPS game, everything feels so smooth and nice and gun play is enjoyable. Movement is very exploitable, lots of hard strafing and crouch spamming as well as tap strafing. Unfortunately most of the casual crowd is starting to abandon this game for newer FPS games and those who remain are extremely good at the game and makes for a really poor experience when you're a newer player being put in the same lobby as the top 2% of players.

    This game was so great it's first year but really needs a complete revamp or a sequel to be made.    … Expand

    the battleroyale mode isn't fun enough, you spend a lot of time finding random gear that may or maynot help you in fights, so there is a big down time where you re just going from one point to another trying to find better gear.
    when you find opponents, you either die and stop having fun for minutes until a new match start or they die and stop having fun.

My first account got banned for cheating I despise cheaters and therefor can tell you. I did not cheat. Shame cause i bought a battle pass on that account. And now since the Apex genesis update I am unable to connect to the game on my second account. I am pretty handy in this sortTo me Apex Legends is one of the more fun BR games.     This game seems to have nailed it for me in terms of multiplayer games. Excellent weapon design and balance, great characters with different available game styles, good map design. TTK is high enough for you to enjoy a shootout like you mean it, yet it is still low enough to a point where you can't just run and gun across half the map as if in a rambo movie. The game right now as of the Rampart collection event has serious code errors and unstable servers with people losing RP with added "abandonment" penalties, completely beyond their control.

    Apex Legends is an utter **** show in terms of stability, reliability and performance, and not representative of a billion dollar company that is making money hand over fist with insanely high priced cosmetics and predatory FOMO tactics to make you spend more. This game has terrible matchmaking, broken sound, is littered with game breaking bugs, and plagued with cheaters that EA / Respawn have demonstrated they cannot stop and have no real control over.

    I've spent more money and time on this game than I care to admit, defended it on all socials for years, but after 2 years I cannot defend this game anymore. They do not deserve your money, and it is only a matter of time before a better game with stable servers, cleaner code, and better anti cheat comes out and utterly displaces Apex Legends.    … Expand

    Разрабы даже не думают исправлять баги и фризы в новых сезонах
    Тут само не пройдет и до свадьбы не заживет, если что. Побольше бы косметики добавить, да карты обновить новыми текстурами, чтоб лагало воооообще у всех К сожалению, придётся оставить это в прошлом    С каждым сезоном катиться в бездну

    2) Высокий ТТК, отсутствие ваншотов при попадании в голову убирают эффект случайности до минимума, побеждает не тот, кому повезло, а тот у кого скиллаим лучше. Если ты убиваешь врага в этой игре, это тяжело назвать везением. Всё заслужено.
    3) Мувмент задает хорошую динамику игры.
    4) Скиллы персонажей вносят разнообразие в игру, при этом не ломают ее. Здесь нет ситуаций, что ты увидел врага и нажал кнопку и враги умерли.    … Expand

    While the game has racist caricatures and the abilities overlap, the game is quite fun. The latest update added another character who's abilities overlap existing characters. I wish they would get more creative. I like the game a lot, but the design decisions seem phoned-in. Also, WTF is up with the servers!?

    Играл в Apex Legends в 2019 и 2021 и скажу что игра была лучше в 2019 тогда в неё на моей видеокарте можно было комфортно играть, но а сейчас графика в игре не изменилась а играть не приятно.     Hay más lag aquí que en los juegos de móvil, pésimos servidores, hay muchos bugs.

    Performance is all over the place with each patch
    Riddled with hackers (AND I MEAN DOMINATED, NOT A SINGLE MATCH WITHOUT THEM)
    Lack of creativity overall

    Terrible unplayable game. Devs are more interested in virtue signalling than actually fixing this mess.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. -Gave it 4 stars at the beginning but now it's pointless. every 3 or 4 match i got 50% packet loss and can't even go back to lobby because it won't let me. It is a miracle if i get a server with a ping lower than 100ms, then it is playable but....
    .... whenever there are 3 squads remaining, there is always one squad that gets third partied and you won't manage 2 v 4

And after i did, game crushed a few times, all because of servers.

    By far my favorite shooter, I think the BR aspects are fun too. I really like how this game has characters with abilities I like that a lot more than the loadout system like Titanfall or COD. The guns all feel really good, the movement is great without being too crazy like Titanfalls. The maps are all really good as well and the game is updated pretty often.

    The game is still very incomplete. Season 8 has arrived. You cannot enter the game by selecting the map. Badge system is very bad, nothing is understood. The introduction to the game (character selection) animation now makes my stomach blur. (It keeps repeating the same things). I can talk about bad things more. But it's still a very good game

(but that just encourages you to pursue extended clips and rewards those who do) And yeah, the elephant in the room is that EA owns Respawn, but they seem to have their hands out of this one unlike Anthem, which already appears to be a full-priced game with microtransactions. This game does the MTs just like Fortnite, which is totally ok in my book. You can play the game perfectly well with them and enjoy them if you get them.    … Expand

    Quite good game I'd say but it gets boring over time. I was playing it on and off for past year and I don't feel like coming back to it ever again. After 800 hours I can say that you should try it but keep in mind that it might just get boring after couple hours because it's so repetitive

    As a Battle Royale game, it kind of suffers from what all battle royale games suffer from: There is nothing more frustrating than running around for 20 minutes, collecting loot while nothing really happens, just to get killed immidiately by the first squad you encounter. But that probably just is the nature of all Battle Royale games.

    What I particularly like about the game is the character design; the different abilities of the characters are not huge, powerful game-defining resources (like in Overwatch for example), but rather feel like tools to make the most out of a certain playstyle you have to work for to make it viable. Want to trap an enemy squad in a confined bulding and have a terrain advantage? Play Caustic. Want to get the most out of positioning and high ground? Play Pathfinder. Want to play more aggressively and into-the-enemie's-face, play Revenant. No matter what you play though, the most important thing still is the gunplay, not to solely rely on your abilities and ults.

    Short version: Good engine, good character design, just a good Battle Royale game overall.

    Good gameplay but sounds suck. You can hear only yourself and your teammate on 300% when the enemies are on like 50%. You can't even hear the enemy team reviving themselves while they're 10 meters away. This game is a joke.

    But this game is such a mixed bag of unknowns. To start, aiming sucks. When I'm firing at an enemy, I generally like to know what I'm aiming at. The amount of muzzle flair is sickening. I'm shooting at someone one second, and the next they're gone.

    Looting is a confusing mess and took at least 12 hours of gameplay to figure out what the hell was happening. Why is the inventory so small and clustered? There are so many different types of guns yet you usually end up with the pistol shotgun at the start of every game. Not to mention, it is really difficult to carry around your ammo. You can hold at least 3 mags of ammo before you really start running dry. It's not enough because your inventory is cluttered with knockdown shidleds, health packs and energy shields. So it's fair to say that this is absolute BS.

    I put 20 something hours into this game and have yet to unlock a second hero. Why the hell is it so expensive to buy a hero? Not to mention my dailies often include using champions I do not even own, which are only unlockable then and there by purchasing them with actual money. So thanks again EA. Thank you for making a free to play battle royale that favors players who buy into it. You never learn.    … Expand

    No one seems to care about plenty of bugs. You will get abandon penalty for trying to reconnect or banned for no reason (not even played at this time). Also legends receive "buffs" that makes them less and less (user) skills damanding.

    Great game that keeps me coming back for over 2 years. The guns are unique and fun to find what one is right for me. Winning is super satisfying and I feel I get better with every game. The legends are unique and there is one for every play style. The only con is that your placement and land spot is heavily influenced by your teammates

    i'm a player since season 1, the game is good, but i want to point the bad stuff.
    the bad experience i had at season 1 was hacker flooded the game with aimbot and speed hack, after that i quit the game, and then the game was avaible on steam, i played it again at season 7, there is no obvious sight of hacker but the damn server now is the problem, packet loss, disconnected from server    i'm a player since season 1, the game is good, but i want to point the bad stuff.
    the bad experience i had at season 1 was hacker flooded the game with aimbot and speed hack, after that i quit the game, and then the game was avaible on steam, i played it again at season 7, there is no obvious sight of hacker but the damn server now is the problem, packet loss, disconnected from server (which was already in season 1), so i switch back to origin, and still have the same connection problem, i'm a SEA player and all of my random teammates have the same problem when i ask, reach out to origin they said your isp is the problem, reach out my isp there is no problem. so i just assumed the apex legend server is a potato, shame. i do really enjoyed and invest my time in this game, but come on one day from a 100 of games only 20 games that i got a stable connection to the server.    … Expand

    Apex Legends Is simply one of the best Battle Royale games ever made. What makes this game so great is ping system for easy communications, and Titanfall-esque gameplay with charismatic characters.
