    The worst AAA title I've ever played. Devoid of all life, absent any passion or talent from the creators, and a complete embarrassment for a formerly reputable developer.

    I really, really, really wanted this to be a success. But the game is hot garbage. Pretty garbage but garbage nonetheless.
    This had so much potential. Incredible graphics, unique movement and fun shooting mechanics. But thats all there is. This game plays out like a demo. After i finished the main storyline, i sat there thinking, "Thats it?". BECAUSE, there is no substance at all to this    I really, really, really wanted this to be a success. But the game is hot garbage. Pretty garbage but garbage nonetheless.
    This had so much potential. Incredible graphics, unique movement and fun shooting mechanics. But thats all there is. This game plays out like a demo. BECAUSE, there is no substance at all to this **** terrible piece of **** Once you realise the story is complete trash, the missions are repetitive and boring and that all the bosses are just bullet sponges you lose hope.
    "Buts its a looter shooter, even if the story and missions suck at least i can get some awesome loot and look awesome while doing it". NOPE. I looked the exact same throughout the entire story, the loot suuucks, there are no cool guns, no fun drops, no armor pieces or emotes. NOTHING.

    I felt asleep with a controller in my hand. Repetitive after 25 minutes.
    This is fact. No hate.
    EA really destroyed the original Bioware Studio.

    The game is terribly boring and tedious. The plot and dialogue, nor any. Shoot boring, no variety of abilities, three for each suit. Two shops selling the same things. Where is the promised variety of tasks? Fortresses? Everything happens on the same topic. Andromeda was far more interesting. Sutdy BioWare is dead. EA is killing the studios and their franchises.. 010...

    very bland and boring game, art concepts and world are kinda nice for eye-candy, gameplay si where is truly dies, it's a recycled meta that's been proving grindy and frustrating on top of boring, non inspiring story and a usual "roadmap to the future" just proves how much of a ripoff this game is, feel sorry for bioware, great work art team tho

    No Minimap, no map pointer, no nothing. Grindy missions with no rewards.

    Just boring.
    And "but everything will be fixed in the future" is the worst ever reason to upvote here. Would you buy a car that drives only 5 km/h and smells like **** for full price, just because they promise you to fix it?

    This is an awful game and EA and Bioware knows it. The game feels unfinished, trashy, and is a bore to play. It just feels like a Destiny or Warframe clone with no passion or direction.

    Until BioWare address the extremely poor performance and 100% CPU usage, I can't even recommend anyone watch the trailers for Anthem. It's a dead open world with no life, laughable fauna and performance issues for miles.

    Visuals over performance? You killed your IP before it began. 0/10

    Loading screens galore and so many questionable UI choices. Not to mention totally boring combat. Only saving grace is flying around, too bad this isn't a flight simulator. This game reminds me of Hellgate London, both in its hype and execution. Very clear that style was prioritised over substance, and I guess most people can tell.

    My computer is capable of running Battlefield V on 90fps-100fps at all time with max settings (even with higher resolution than in Anthem) and with little effort (I know it uses frostbite engine too)
    But in Anthem fps is all over the place - just from flying or even turning the camera my fps drops The weird thing is even if im locked at 60fps/60hz    The game is a total mess - unplayable

    Changing the settings from Ultra to Low does nothing...
    I tried every generic "fix" out there as well as messing around with windows and the hardware nothing helps....

    In BF5 we had dx12 and "render future frame" options that gave a substantial boost to performance in anthem those options are non existent and you cant even use the console commands like in BF5

    it seems the game was made by incompetent developers who dont know how to use the Frostbite engine - hope they fix it but currently game is unplayable avoid buying (I regret i did)    … Expand

    it is unacceptable to argue that they will fix and improve the game later down the road and the argument that this game has potential ( which is true ) is not a valid argument either!! They have shown that they do not even know what the potentials for this game are because of their lack luster mission design that despite the fact that they have such a cool flying mechanic of their battle-suites does not utilize that and instead have you stay stationary on the ground with boring waves of stupid enemies advancing on that location... A lot of reviewers lost all their credibility here, if you just look at their positive and therefore incompetent reviews.. Another sad release for gamers.. Looking back the last few years we had our fair share of this kind of release behaviour.. ( destiny2, seaofthiefes, nomanssky,...)     Nobody is calling software developers and publishers out for the blatant fraud they are guilty of and nowhere is this more evident than in EA/Bioware's "Anthem". At E3 2017, Bioware showcased actual "in game" content footage and presented that to the audience and the public at large as proof of what this game features.     Worst game in studio history. Identical locations, identical mobs, identical missions and not an interesting story are complemented by a huge amount of technical problems. Most of the time takes a meaningless grind. The game is monotonous and meaningless.

    Don't buy it. Seriously, game had 3 patches that fixed absolutely nothing but nerfed loot without telling us. Also my game drops to 1 fps, yes ONE. I know that sounds stupid and you think "maybe your PC is too weak". Well I'm running RTX 2070 and 4790K with 12GB RAM. This is absolutely pathetic and unacceptable.

    Releasing an unfinished game is totally unforgivable. UI is designed incredibly stupid. Loot system is a disaster. Not to mention tons of bug. Reading their bug fixing patch is like reading a novel. This game is a joke. LOL

    Do Not Buy!!!! I'm a fan of fps, open-world and online games, so I figured I'd give Anthem a shot. Amazingly, I couldn't get past the first, warm-up mission. I gave it four tries, and was booted out four time, citing loss of the online connection. (I'm on a ps4, and play Destiny 2 and GTA 5 Online, with only an extremely rare significant connection failure.) Each time Anthem booted me out,Do Not Buy!!!! I'm a fan of fps, open-world and online games, so I figured I'd give Anthem a shot. Amazingly, I couldn't get past the first, warm-up mission. I gave it four tries, and was booted out four time, citing loss of the online connection.     Anthem is not ready for market everyone told them but EA put out anther unfinished game. Theres potential here but its not the cash cow EA are looking for in this current state so there probally sack Bioware and abort this game. Quality seems impossible for EA when greed is the the driving force.

    Well, I wish I could say something about the gameplay, but my time in the game is short. The game is very buggy, it frankly just wasn't ready to be released and needed more time in the oven. On day one of release the game ran well, but kept crashing so I couldn't finish the tutorial. Which, I figured hey day one so sure things happen. After the day one patch, my fps proceeded to dip intoWell, I wish I could say something about the gameplay, but my time in the game is short. The game is very buggy, it frankly just wasn't ready to be released and needed more time in the oven. On day one of release the game ran well, but kept crashing so I couldn't finish the tutorial. I have 16 gb of ram a i5 7600k and a rtx 2070. more than capable of running this game. I did put the game on a new drive with a brand new install of windows, which still fixed nothing.

    After another patch, I did get it running on all low, but at least I could play. I queue into the first mission, but the mission kept getting stuck at certain points never finishing and I'd have to join a new party. This happened for a couple of days.

    It was so bugged, I didn't get to complete the first mission. I will change my score once I can play the game adequately but for now a 0/10 is justified, it's unplayable. Which is unacceptable.    … Expand

What we got was a half-baked game that has no clue what it was trying to be. If you think they're "working on fixes" then you've already missed the point... also, those fixes aren't coming, anyway. What an utter disgrace. Biggest let down in gaming I've experienced so far. Waking up after the very short honeymoon period of having fun shooting things was sobering to say the least. I have more fun watching the E3 2017 trailer on loop than I do actually playing this game. Hopefully one day soon, triple A gaming will just completely crumble and be replaced by AI where we can all be our own Javelins. Until then.... don't spend $$$ on hype anymore...… Expand

    After close to 200 hours of this game its not worth it. If you own it and have invested time in it like me and many others by all means play it. But anyone looking to get this make a hard pass. This is no where near a complete game and won't be for some time. Yea its fun and unique and cool but how many times in a row are you willing to watch Ironman. This game launched with unnamed animals and the weapons that didn't work think about that for a minute. They at no point played every masterwork to even see if they functioned. This is and unacceptable state for a $80 AAA game. It maybe good one day but I'm not to hopeful it will make it. After my Origin premiere expires I will like not ply again.… Expand

    The idea of this game is really nice but the game have a lot of bbug and continiusly crash and freeze. for now is an early acess maybbe in a few month can be a beta but i think that the budget for this game was 30% development and 70% pubblicity.

    I love the core gameplay loop and the aesthetics of Anthem. I have beem playing since the first demo and jave played every Bioware Game since Mass Effect.
    However, no game ever has disrespected my time as Anthem has. Never have I played a more unrewarding game. I know this may sound hard, but could you guys please stop drinking so much Soy Milk and please stop sucking    Summon the loot!

    Complete waste of time. The one reason I even buy games from companies like Bioware is for their storyline. But this! This is the worst game I have ever played in my life. I'd rather play a noob indie game developer first game than to play Anthem.

Ma uno Shooter Looter che per farmi equipaggiare e testare armi & Co. mi costringe a finire la missione, ritornare in fucina, tediarmi (frantumarmi i coglioni) con 4-5 schermate di caricamento e matchmaking è pura follia. Ma vogliamo parlare dei crash continui (gioco su pc) dovuti alle più disparate motivazioni? Imbarazzante. E le schermate di caricamento ovunque, persistenti ed onnipresenti all'interno del gioco? Senza contare bug e glitch "selvatici" che saltano fuori quando meno te lo aspetti che nemmeno Zubat in una fottuta caverna. Vorrei inoltre che gli sviluppatori mi spiegassero l'utilità della mappa: non si può utilizzare alcun tipo di marker, né vi è segnato alcunché; nessun evento, nessuna indicazione, niente di niente. Forse con l'acquisto del gioco avrei dovuto pensare a procurarmi anche bussola e sestante? Infine vorrei chiedere dove sono i contenuti di endgame. Sembra quasi che non si siano presi nemmeno la briga di finirlo questo prodotto. Ci hanno venduto un gioco a prezzo pieno in cui delle meccaniche sono state pensate male, sviluppate peggio e nate morte ed alcuni aspetti tecnici del gioco sono degni delle prime fasi di una beta se non di un'alpha.

    There is one thing to do in three ways. New updates and patches break more than they fix or add. This is a total mess of bad development and poor leadership in a company. I will never look at another game EA is involved with. They need to close their doors.

The game: - Can't even be played at most times due to server instability issues -    FYI I made this account specifically to review this game and give it a ZERO.

    The game:

    - Can't even be played at most times due to server instability issues
    - Forces you to hit a loading screen for practically everything you want to do
    - There are still constant Pilot Error Data bugs which prevent you from even getting into the one single instanced town in the game (where you start from on login)
    - The combat is a joke since combat is based on scaling (ie a lvl1 player joining their friend will do more DPS with a lvl1 gun than someone with a full MasterWork loadout)
    - Is horribly designed from the ground up
    - Lacks any true end-game and BioWare's 90-day Games As Service model puts the first event a full 3 months after launch which effectively kills the game in terms of the majority of players
    - Is a looter shooter..... WITH NO LOOT. The Devs refuse to make the loot rain despite receiving a THOROUGH post by Diablo 3's director who revamped D3's loot with 2.0
    - The crafting system is now unusable since the harvest nodes you farm to get crafting material with were nerfed into oblivion and harvesting is now a waste of time

    I could go on and on about how terrible this game is, but the gist is that Anthem is a buggy mess that has far too many issues connecting to it's own servers for even a single-player instanced walk around Tarsis.

    Do NOT spend your money on Anthem. And I HIGHLY recommend not buying any more BioWare or EA games ever again unless you want to be looked at as a cash cow meant to be strung along to pay for low-effort DLC, loot boxes, and low-effort cosmetics that aren't even what the players want.    … Expand

    I paid the full price when it launched to ENJOY the following points in minutes:
    - 60 mins flying like Iron Man
    - 30 mins of finding out the variety of story and quests
    - 60 mins of dialogues

    So after 2 1/2 hours I saw enough of this game.

    Due to network errors, it is impossible to play this **** I have never written reviews here, but this game will infuriate even the calmest person. it’s impossible to complete a single mission, it’s impossible to enter the game for 30 minutes, and even if you come in, it can be thrown out after 30 seconds.

    Possibly the worst game that's ever been released (but if beaten out by worse games, only because they were truly that had) I've never seen a more disrespectful slap to the consumer market than Anthem. No content, no polish, no effort. Actually killed Bioware for me (EA is already a seed of corruption and everyone is aware these days)

    This game is in its second year of release and they STILL haven't fixed something as essential as using Raw mouse input so if you move the mouse slowly the input doesn't get registered in-game.

    Reminds you every second that you can be bothered to play that it's a bad console port.

    Worst optimization ever. It's just a scam on PC. Stuttering with low graphics settings in I7 7800x, 32GB ram, 2070, SSD 4GB/s. So have in mind, that you have only 24 hours to refund the game if you want to give it a try.

    If you want to see Anthem’s lush jungle and glistening Javelins, do it right away — this game is losing audience fast, and there’s almost nothing to do after the campaign ends. Or check it out on YouTube to save yourself some nerves and money.

    It's obvious that Anthem didn't have enough development time, but had some great potential. It's a real shame, that everything turned out this way. Even now, the game can bring out positive emotions. Hasty climbers have sudden falls. No matter how ironic this proverb may seem, it's incredibly relevant for Anthem.
