Anna Extended Edition improves the basic title from every point of view. The game is one of the best Horror Adventure available on the market.

Anna Extended Edition has brand new accessible puzzles, a larger area to explore and stronger narrative material. Its so much richer compared to the standard edition that even those who have already finished the original game will find many good reasons for a second play through.

Anna: Extended Edition represents the natural maturation of Dreampainters debut title. Italian developers corrected the most bitter points of their previous work in order to create a deep and complete game, an homage at the same time to the never-dying adventure game genre and to the most deep and sick horror.

In this Extended Edition Dreampainters has given a more professional look to Anna. Now the Italian adventure is also less cryptic and more understandable, although many plot points are still unclear and some puzzles must be solved again with a lot of trial & error.

The Extended Edition of Anna is a definite improvement over the original, though there’s still nothing that really jumps out for horror fans (except for the now-dangerous poltergeists).

Anna is a great game. Beautiful graphics, and a blood-tingling story line. This game will have you playing it for hours. The combination ofAnna is a great game. Beautiful graphics, and a blood-tingling story line. This game will have you playing it for hours. The combination of horror, puzzles, and adventure makes the gameplay great. The scary moments will stay on your mind and keep you on your toes. Theres also 8 different endings to the game depending on what you do and how you do it, so this is one of those games that make you want to play over and over again. I highly recommend giving this game a try. Full Review »

Not too intuitive, and takes a bit of adjusting to. There are quite a few bugs that relate to lighting in the current release of the extended edition. The atmosphere is good and the story is released slowly. But the execution is not that great, despite a great effort in trying to build a game within a limited number of rooms. Full marks for the atmosphere, but does not really deliver at the end of the day. Worthwhile if you score it for under $5, as you can revert back to the non-extended-edition if the extended-edition crashes. Full Review »

But that task is just impossible, because this game is an horrible technical mess!

First you have to spent an hour just to familiarize yourself with the clunky controls and the horrible mouse sensibility. After that you think your problems are gone, but they're not... you found a lot of things you can do with your collected objects, but very soon you realize they don't make any sense, so you start to search and try every bizarre combination to try to solve simple puzzles and this take long, much more long than your patience.

The worst is... every new room i entered i got struggle with a buggy blinking environment lights that makes me literally close my eyes to not being blind. Sometimes it stop in a few seconds, sometimes don't, and i found me running or shaking the mouse trying to stop the madness. Sometimes i had to go to options and click every button, then it stops.

It is really a shame that game being published this way, because i really like the mystery mood, but it's really impossible to play. In the Steam forums you see any decent answer either by Dreampainters or Kalypso Media. You just don't get any support, unless a false statement that is a Unity problem. You buy a broken game and it's your own problem, they'll not fix it.

Also, you have to make a Kalypso account and login in a launcher every time you start the game, even with no online resources. This publisher is one of the worst i ever seen, they don't have any respect or care with customers. I'll skip any title under their label forever.
