This game let you relive the golden age of RTS & C&C !! it is a must buy for every C&C fan that was waiting on such a game.
Is it perfect ? No! Nothing can beat C&C, but this is a very close attempt to it and should deserve the credit for doing this.
The rest is getting constant patches and tweaks. Hotkeys etc.. are on the way. the multiplayer shines on in this game!

Act Of Aggression is a real nice game for all RTS games lovers. It's Old-School, it's graphically OK and soundtrack is really nice.
Don't try to compare this to C&C or AoW ... Yes it's old-school, but with a different feeling than its predecessors, more mature and more strategic.

I just love this game, One of the best RTS games since the CnC Series and a great heir to the Act of War series by the same developer, Eugene Systems.
The graphics are really good, shiny and neat.
It takes a few games to get used and to fully appreciate the scale of what this game has to offer, but I'd say it's a very good point for this genre. The campaign is difficult too, so you'll

The campaign is difficult too, so you'll have some time to play around with puzzles before leaping in the core of the game: the multiplayer experience.
This is a must have for any RTS gamer. Period.

It's a nice game but not as much as expected. The single player campaign is quite poor in terms or story and background, nothing like Act of War.
The graphic is good; sound effects and background music are average but nothing more.

If this game had more development time it could be the best recent RTS out there second only to SC2.

Act of aggression is one of those games that a lot of people say its a C&C generals and Act of War sequel, in reality the game is different in almost every way, trying to compare it to Generals or Act of War itself will only bring you disappointment and bad nostalgia.

In fact if your reading this review i think you should be considering this game as its own RTS with its own playstyle and gameplay.

Team games: So being a new RTS i think Act of Aggression has a lot to offer for its price point, if your looking for a semi casual game, it offers a lot for people that enjoy 2vs2, 4v4 and 8 people free for all. These large team games offer a lot because the games scale almost reaches the size of a medium sized supreme commander game, with tons of units on the field, lots of buildings and tech paths to choose from.

Single Player: When looking at single player sadly it shows an average RTS campaign that provides a decent enough challenge if you want to get all the hidden achievements. It also feels a bit short and its no campaign like those presented in Act of War or Generals, but there’s potential to get better with future expansions.

Complexity: One of its strongest but weakest point is its complexity, this game can be a nightmare to learn for new players, but after learning it provides a lot of different strategies and ways to play. Its a hard to learn hard to master game.

Competitive 1vs1: I love competitive 1vs1 RTS its what i enjoy the most out of games currently, so being a new game i picked it up fast reaching the top 5 having over 500 hours of ingame time. Sadly the ladder system does not provide good incentive to play, its merged with the 2vs2 ladder making it pointless to play 1vs1 at all currently. Still you would expect the 2vs2 ladder to be active but sadly it isnt.

Tournaments: One of the saving grace´s for me when playing this game, is the tournaments the community is organizing because its providing a lot of cool strategies and interesting moments, it makes you want to get better at the game.

So in the end i really think this game has a lot of potential, you can see the developers are taking steps to improve it constantly, however it feels they are still fixing and adding features that were supposed to be at launch. Comparing this RTS with others it feels the developers do know what their doing as with every patch the game gets better.

So get this game if you have the patience to wait for patches as it’s one of the best RTS out there that isn’t SC2. It has depth, complexity, fun factor but a terrible learning curve, some balance issues, terrible ladder system and average campaign.

A nice SP campaign plus alot of options in the MP with ranking ladders add enough stuff to let you have fun with this great RTS for months!
Where GreyGoo sucked, Act of Aggression takes the loot!

Multiplayer is awesome! Having the single player is a bonus. Really evokes Command and Conquer Generals in the different tactics that can be used in a game. All 3 factions play differently. Have over 100 games and love it.

The long-awaited strategy: currently on the market of video games it does not have competition! In the best tradition of my favorite Act of War. The perfect combination of graphics / gameplay. Perhaps for me it's one of the best games of the last decade. In short 10 out of 10!

Top notch RTS. 3 unique factions. It's not a game of who has the better mouse or clicking skills but actual strategy. Still needs to be improved but a great way forward.

A true great throw back multiplayer focused command and conquer like RTS experience. awesome gameplay, superb graphics, engaging units and upgrades, but best of all no persistent progressions mechanics, no grinding game-breaking unlocks, no in-game purchases, no micro transactions. It is as if it's 1995 all over again (minus the bad music). basically this is command and conquer GeneralsA true great throw back multiplayer focused command and conquer like RTS experience. awesome gameplay, superb graphics, engaging units and upgrades, but best of all no persistent progressions mechanics, no grinding game-breaking unlocks, no in-game purchases, no micro transactions. Une vraie cure de jouvence pour le RTS, cure de jouvence et en même temps un retour en arrière, car les mécaniques de jeu sont très old school.
Le jeu est vraiment très beau pour un rts et hyper pêchu, à prendre les yeux fermé

Despite some problems with AI the single player campaign is a really solid, interesting set of challenges. It’s a deep, satisfying game with very different factions that forces you to adapt rather than employ universal strategies. [11/2015, p.60]
