Sep 2, 2015Diverse factions and units, continually evolving gameplay, and authentic-feeling maps make for a must-own game for RTS enthusiasts and newcomers.
-
Sep 2, 2015Eugen have taken the classic RTS formula and created a compelling and fun strategy game. Well worth your money.
-
Pelit (Finland)Nov 5, 2015Act of Aggression is a traditional, acceptable RTS. Nothing more, nothing less. [Oct 2015]
-
Sep 8, 2015A solid RTS game right now, and with a bright future ahead, Act of Aggression is a strong and welcomed release.
-
Sep 3, 2015A traditional RTS with clever ideas that struggles a bit due to the weak single player campaign. Still the best RTS we've seen in a long time.
-
Sep 30, 2015Inspired by an old glory of the past such as Command & Conquer: Generals, Act of aggression is one of the best RTS on the market, compelling and technically well-kept. Unfortunately, the interface is a little nonintuitive.
-
Sep 14, 2015The combined elements of Act of War and C&C:Generals make for true old-school multiplayer mayhem, albeit with a lackluster single player campaign and a few issues here and there. Furthermore, the fact that Eugen Systems is genuinely and actively listening to the community feedback, leads us to expect great things. Long live the old-school RTS renaissance.
-
Oct 25, 2015A solid, deep and tactical RTS that is fun both in single and multiplayer. The main campaign isn't that great story-wise, but we appreciate its presence, and there's really no reason to get angry about it when the gameplay is that good. If you love RTS games you'll definitely like Act of Aggression and its three factions. Good job Eugen Systems.

Power UnlimitedOct 8, 2015An old school RTS in modern trappings that’s addictive as all hell. Highly recommendable for everyone who’ve ever enjoyed a realtime strategy game. [Oct 2015, p. 061]
-
Sep 14, 2015Quotation forthcoming.
-
Sep 7, 2015Act of Aggression is no C&C-clone, but it is a classic RTS game with a few fun twists and a fresh look on the aftermath of Act of War. Don't be mislead by the simplicity, because there is a deeper strategy game within.
-
Dec 21, 2015A very classical RTS, with beautiful graphics and an old school multiplayer vibe.
-
CD-ActionNov 15, 2015Despite some problems with AI the single player campaign is a really solid, interesting set of challenges. It’s a deep, satisfying game with very different factions that forces you to adapt rather than employ universal strategies. [11/2015, p.60]
-
Sep 21, 2015For those only interest in single-player, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. If online multiplayer or even AI skirmishes are all you need, Act of Aggression delivers a wonderful product.
-
Sep 15, 2015An excellent choice for those who miss the days of the RTS genre good old times.
-
Sep 4, 2015Even if it could have been called Act of War 2, Act of Aggression is a classic and strong RTS which can be related to Command & Conquer Generals. One thing is certain: this game is meant for online battles more than the solo campaign.
