  • Summary: A giant Erusean submarine has been discovered in harbor at Artiglio Port. This submarine launched four years ago, but went missing during a sea trial. It was found two years later at the bottom of the ocean. Much of its crew survived and were rescued.

    According to David North, an analyst from the Osean Intelligence Agency's Advanced Weapons Analysis Division, this submarine is a super-sized nuclear submarine measuring 495 meters in length and powered by two liquid metal cooled reactors. Dubbed the "Alicorn," it is capable of staging aircraft operations on the scale of a carrier.

    The objective of this operation is to capture the Alicorn. To do so, the Osean Navy has dispatched a fleet complete with a landing ship.

    The "Unexpected Visitor" DLC for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was an enjoyable addition to the game, though it didn't offer any mind-blowingThe "Unexpected Visitor" DLC for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was an enjoyable addition to the game, though it didn't offer any mind-blowing moments. While I did feel that the DLC was a bit on the shorter side, the gameplay itself was fun enough to justify the purchase. The story, while not exceptional, provided an engaging backdrop for the missions.

    The intensity of the gameplay was evident, especially for someone like me, a beginner in the game. It's worth noting that as a newcomer, I encountered some challenges that led to a few deaths during the missions. One aspect that stood out was the absence of checkpoints throughout the mission. This meant that if I died at any point, I had to restart the entire mission from the beginning, adding an extra layer of difficulty.

    In conclusion, "Unexpected Visitor" offered a satisfying gameplay experience and an adequate storyline. While it may not have been groundbreaking, it was enjoyable enough to make the purchase worthwhile. The intense gameplay and lack of checkpoints added to the overall challenge, making it a DLC that can appeal to both veterans and newcomers alike.    … Expand
