    At level 40 I finished a dungeon. The reward was the offer to buy some package in the shop for 8.99 euro. I uninstalled this abomination.

    It is frightening to see how immoral, greedy and tasteless activision-blizzard have become. This piece of tasteless disrespect straight and unhidden to the face of their customers establishes a new low level benchmark in capitalism. This is sad.

    I grew up playing diablo 1 and 2 and quite enjoyed it, and I was looking forward to this game to play it. Released on 1st of June on IOS, downloaded and jumped in straight away. After a couple of hours gameplay I realised the agressive monetization straight away. I gave it a chacne and lvled up to 60 and gained 16 paragon levels as well. The game plays well, however every possibleI grew up playing diablo 1 and 2 and quite enjoyed it, and I was looking forward to this game to play it. Released on 1st of June on IOS, downloaded and jumped in straight away. After a couple of hours gameplay I realised the agressive monetization straight away. I gave it a chacne and lvled up to 60 and gained 16 paragon levels as well. The game plays well, however every possible monetization tactis is utilized in the game, and does it so aggresively that is beyond belief. Psychological exploitation put the final nail in the coffin for me. The game is so p2w that destroys the game for the f2p players, and even if you spend a 100 dollar / month you would get nowehere in the competitive element.... Blizzard has fallen into the rotten pit in my book.... Such a disappointment.... Deleted the game, and have a feeling that Diablo 4 will be something similar as well. Overall I do not recommend this game at all. Support some other more ethical company than this husk....… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I don't care that its P2W, but does a well established IP from a AAA studio need to make ingame purchases so damn expensive. Not a single amount of money I have spent on battle pass, bundles and services has been worth it. There is zero value here. #DiabloImmoral punishes you for F2P and keeps the rest of its players in continual dissatisfaction. I didn't expect Blizzard to go full scum on this one. Just play D3 or D2R. Hell, your money is better spent on Lost Ark. Why couldn't Blizzard just make a normal diablo game that has a paid battle pass system or subscription, and cosmetics? Instead we got a microtransaction nightmare with the most exploitative monetization I have ever seen. I better go and login so I don't loose my paid for login reward. Maybe later I will use a loot box, I mean crest, and get 1 rare item that I can break down for 1 enchanted dust, which atm I need 75 per item to get a +2 attribute bonus. Or maybe I get really lucky and the crest gives me a one-star gem, that I can use to upgrade my current **** one star gems which I currently need 15 for each one (there are 6). Or I can use 10 legendary crests to get 7 one star gems and maybe some two and three star gems that I wouldn't use with my build. And if the Netease slot machine grants it, I might get a coveted five star gem which I have to upgrade with higher and effectively rarer material costs and then later spend money on doing an awakening. Every bit of progression in this trash heap is met with more expensive **** to buy. The best part: I cant share my loot, currency, paragon level or purchases with my other characters.… Expand

    (Same as PC Review) : While the core gameplay mechanics and the moment to moment gameplay is pretty good to absolutely excellent, the many ridiculously predatory monetization systems turn this game into nothing more than a platform for blizzard to siphon money from their players in some of the most psychologically abusive ways possible.

    Couldn't find Android version so here's my review: The game is not working on almost the latest Snapdragon 888 phone, Xiaomi Mi11, Google Play says it's not compatible with last year's top-notch hardware. Very disappointed.

    Diablo Immortal uses many, if not all and more, of the most blatant and egregious monetization practices to extract money from the you. It is an embarrassment that this game left development with the way it is currently monetized.

The micro transactions is insane, I don't think I've ever seen so many different types of currencies in 1 game before.     Average to bad graphics, no interesting mechanics, no interesting lore, everything becomes pay-to-win in late game. It would literally take you multiple lifetimes to keep up and stay competitive with someone pouring money into this game. This is simply a cash-grab attempt on the average mobile gamer who doesn't know about the Diablo franchise.

    1- Game mechanics: This being a mobile game doesn't mean they can dumb it down to the level where you brainlessly click on one button and you are good to go through the entire game....
    - Leveling up: no more fun upgrading one's hard earned level-up: no points to spend and customize character stats or build a unique skill tree and not just be choked with unwanted skills or underpowered skills. in addition to the insult of just leveling up 5 times to get to chose to use a new skill instead of already unlocked ones or now.... this game was about growing, progressing and customizing one's character, a beautiful tree that was trimmed down to a single leafless stick!!

    - Equipment: spell casters don't use any weapons (like good old times in Diablo 2), so what's the use for such weapons if not just the esthetics or the boosts they give? I remember enjoying slashing monsters with giant scythes, then switching to wands playing the necromancer, that was fun!
    besides, it makes no sense to have all the weapons dropped magically match the character class.... bad game design... very bad.

    - Multiverse Ghosts: I have no idea who had the un-genius idea of overlaying other players fighting monsters that have half transparent effect... it is just super confusing.

    - Map mechanics: where is all the fun checking the map for direction or just for sake of scanning every corner for loot or experience.... I have never seen a game bow so low to entry retarded players to simplify their lives so much! Blizzard has gone really deed down the trench of idiocracy.

    now the graphics.....
    - Atmosphere and surrounding are too pale/grayed out with lighting that is too low on contrast. Diablo used to be darker, more vivid and gothic... this one looks like a cartoonish version of some Chinese or Korean RPG game...
    - similar to Japanese RPGs, the splash effects of skills or weapons are too vivid and take up too much screen space...
    - Character customization hardly makes any sense since there are no cut-scenes zooming in on the characters face or during chat with other players, and the fixed camera during gameplay.
    - There is no blood (or option to activate it)
    - Why is the player emitting light? I understand to improve visibility some areas need to be lit up, but the constant lantern effect on top of the player is a bit off I think.
    - Some shop keepers are overcrowded and it's hard to see anything past the dozens of players swarming him/her

    I can write a lot more, but let's just keep it here for now....
    let us unite and slap the **** of Activision's shareholders greed to the ground....
    I don't want to vouch for anyone, but I know a little thing or two about corporate greed and how it corrupts the creative soul of every company that gets the shareholders' curse...    … Expand

The iconic Diablo stash seems almost useless, as everything needs to be salvaged for upgrade materials, or extracted, in order to progress the game. Speaking of progression, players find themselves trapped in daily or weekly caps with little to do, and even severe EXP earning penalties, should you grind too far ahead of the recommended server level. While the story is enjoyable, the end game is just a very limiting checklist of things to do on a fixed schedule.… Expand

    I was a big fan of Immortal when it was first announced, played the alpha/beta, and played since day one, this game is a lie, it tricks you right out the gate by offering you big bundles for $0.99 right up front while you are still leveling, and you say to yourself "I don't need this yet", by the time you hit the level block at level 52 it becomes apparent this game is not meant for F2PI was a big fan of Immortal when it was first announced, played the alpha/beta, and played since day one, this game is a lie, it tricks you right out the gate by offering you big bundles for $0.99 right up front while you are still leveling, and you say to yourself "I don't need this yet", by the time you hit the level block at level 52 it becomes apparent this game is not meant for F2P players, but you continue on, one to two levels a day if you do every single content you can, from bounties, contracts, raids, dungeons, and rifts, by the time you hit 60, you are already so far behind everyone else that has paid to proceed, they are already maxed out in gear, whereas you do not even have all your legendarys yet, but still, you continue thinking you will get caught up one day, little do you know, in order to get caught up, you need farm all those same things I listed above for a .001% chance to get a single legendary gem, and in order to level up that legendary gem, you need to gather a **** ton more of them in order to disenchant to get the powder to use on that one gem, so essentially it will take you years to get fully geared out.

    I would recommend playing until 60 to do the story, once the story is done, un-install, you don't need it, it is just a waste of time at that point.    … Expand

    The first 2 hours are fine, after that the game just doesn’t give you any loot, you have to pay them money or wait 24 hours for the timer to reset so you can earn loot again.

    I really enjoyed this game it run well on my phone and looks great and really feels like a diablo game I just can't support the abusive monetisation in this game using predatory psychological manipulation and egregious pay to win mechanics the whole thing is immoral disgusting and activision-blizzard should be ashamed of themselves

    Was excited to have a casual mobile version of one of my favorite childhood IP's however I cannot justify even downloading it considering the predatory monetization by Activision blizzard. I've been on the fence with them of late and this is seriously the last straw for me. They'll never get another cent of mine.

    I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game.     It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
