    Shame on Blizzard for making a pay to win cross platform game! You had an opportunity to link everyone together, on a franchise that is beloved. Good job flushing it down the toilet. Mobile gaming is a sh*t show because of pay to win, we don’t want it. We refuse to play it. It is not supported by real gamers. Do better.

    Sadly I cannot give this a -10, absolute garbage, even for a mobile game its horrible garbage. The uberly aggressive monetisation is disgusting. Actizzard has no respect for their customers.
    Movement is artificial, you can only walk where devs let you, in this game you are relegated to being a monkey that is to follow on screen instructions

    No what they are selling is the only way to actually power up and get stronger end game. This game is seriously pay to win.

    Basically a slot machine skinned as an action RPG. Actually, if you feed coins to a slot machine, you do have a chance, however slight, to actually win some money back. But with this "game", your money is gone, forever. Play path of exile instead for an ethical free to play experience.

    The first bit of the game where you're just leveling your character to get to the end game content is moderately fun, oh boy does it go downhill FAST from there. So many paywalls everywhere, YongYea did a video on just how garbage the monetisation and upgrade paths are.     But things completely crash down when you realize the absolutely insane monetization on the game. All this kind of games (usually korean MMOs) has an agressive P2W.

    But Diablo Immortal takes EVERY SINGLE PW2 mechanic and use every psychological bias to get the money out of you. It´s absolutely impossible keep progressing past certain power level without pushing money into it. And a lot of money.

    Keep in mind, this kind of game (ARPG) is heavily focused on your character progression as the main goal. Is not like you can play casually for free and have a nice free (or low-cost) experience, with just some ocassional purchase here and there. No.

    If you want to just "properly play" without getting stuck, regular purchases will be mandatory as part of the game itself. They Payed content is hardly embebed to the gameplay.

    Ofc, it uses lots of cheap tactics to get you into it. "Special premium offers" of negligible cost, to break the initial barrier of making a purchase, giving you just slighty less gems than needed for the most usual purchases, or trick you with the typical "Pay some more but get MUCH more pack", etc.

    Its a game designed for heavy whaling. Nothing really new, except for this time being an important and renowned company with a well-known IP who is pushing it, instead of some usual P2W publisher... And also, the fact they are going heavier than most already very agressive P2W games out there.    … Expand

    Set a predefined max time youll play it, eg. 10hours and then you uninstall and NEVER touch it again, then you'll be fine.
    Everything after that is the worst kind of #scamware imaginable.

    literally the only thing that hugely lets this down is how blatantly greedy blizzard execs show themselves to be with this pay to win model. and saying it isn't pay to win because you don't buy gear. come on guys. gems are part of gear and you've made them more important than ever in this game. gems inside gems inside gems that would take YEARS to max out without spending money.

Hard to give Blizzard money anymore after all the sexual abuse allegations, abandoning Heroes of the Storm, and spending their money on cash grabs like this. They try to push you to play everyday, take a subscription, and pay to get better loot; and it's very expensive! Diablo Immortal takes zero skill. It is only about turning your brain off and paying money or grinding for litteraly 10 years. I feel like Diablo Immortal is not only a complete cash grab, but also a slap in the face to the idea of being skilled at a game. There nothing to be proud of getting far in Diablo Immortal. There is also nothing Diablo about this game. It is the same cartoonish graphics. The game litteraly looks like RAID:Shadow Legends.     Immortal is built on the Diablo lore, but the entire gameplay is built around unlocking new predatory microtransactions while you as a player are being manipulated to spend money, and getting addicted to gambling.

    Predatory monetization in this game is so bad, that it should be made illegal.

    There's not much to say what hasn't been said already. Diablo's main draw is its longevity, its end- and postgame. Here, all that endgame consists of is nickle-and-diming you. Add to that PVP as well and you get a prime example of Pay2Win. Stay away from this trash!

    I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game.     It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
