    The inhuman donate system.
You fight not with monsters, but cunning mathematical formulas.

A (in no way) fully fledged Diablo experience inclusive the most shameful Pay2Win I've ever seen.
If you really wanna play this game be ready to have the credit card next to you.
Even the story is very flat and not worth your time.

Oh man, never have I ever seen such a predatory pay to win scheme in my life.
The game itself is actually decent but this is the greediest blatant cash grab I've seen in my life.

I was hoping for this game for so much time, i couldn't download since my device isn't compatible (hours before, i could download with no problems), so i've decided to look the rating of the game, and i saw the user score here in metacritic, i'm sad that this game is a disappointment for users...

$110,000 percent pay to win. Not going to give them a penny. Sad, the game play is actually pretty good, it runs well, and the voice acting is good. But damn, that monetization is pure evil.

This is THE most pay to win game of all time. I thought genshin was bad with 5-10k to get your wanted 5* Hero. That's chump change compared to Blizzard's 100-110k on average to get a single 5 star gem. What an unbelievable joke and disgrace to the diablo Franchise. Such a **** cash grab. You can tell which critics were paid for their reviews, look at user reviews.

I expected it to be sh1t but the game itself doesn't even incentivize me to play , it has more mechanics in your face at the beggining than diablo 3 so it requires a lot more time to learn without the payoff of finding a super rare drop that only a few people have because other people can just pay to get things faster, every corner there's a microtransaction ready to cut off your playtimeI expected it to be sh1t but the game itself doesn't even incentivize me to play , it has more mechanics in your face at the beggining than diablo 3 so it requires a lot more time to learn without the payoff of finding a super rare drop that only a few people have because other people can just pay to get things faster, every corner there's a microtransaction ready to cut off your playtime so why the fvcc bother in the first place.
The only reason it's getting one point is because the abilities feel good to use and it has better personalization than D3.

It's a mobile version of Diablo 3 where every time that you need to do something (9/10 grind and 0 story) you need to swipe you CC as well. Have fun "casual mobile players".

It play's exactly like D3 which isn't terrible, but knowing that you will never be able to max out your build without paying $$$$$$$$$$$, it just kills any motivation to play it past the story.

Good gameplay and art a la D3 irreparably tarnished by naked, extreme, and manipulative monetization systems designed to prey on the ignorant, addicted, or foolhardy. A sad decline from the Blizzard of my childhood.

As I write this, I see who large the disconnect between Critic and User. There is more to a game then just the play. We don't just experience how it feels to move the character or execute an attack or how well the narrative is written. These critics need review the release version and hold all aspects in question.

Metacritic needs to change is standard for review and grow with gaming culture. You are not review a game from 2005 or Diablo 2 for instance- standards have changed. Why haven't yours.

And i am so sad honestly, i grew up with Blizzard, Diablo was one of my first LAN experiences way back then, i remember playing WoW with my little daughter back when it was still all the rage, going on adventures in far away mythical lands, i loved going all tactical in warcraft 3 against my best friend etc. It is just a husk now of what it once was. Now it is just a sleazy company with molestors roaming the workfloors according to CNN, pumping out a manipulative piece of software with a Diablo skin designed only to rob you blind 10 times over and to groom little children into gambling addicts with no oversight whatsoever. It's Diablo meets gambling, expect with minimal payoff at ridiculous prices. What's the point in paying soooo much money to barely be better than other players.

I expected light microtransactions. It has so many microtransactions that it costs over 100 grand to fully gear. I will never play this game nor will my friends. How can they prey on people like this? This is not normal.

I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game. To see it submit to mobile gaming's worst tendencies, rather than make any effort to be different, to be better, is galling. It may be flashy and efficient as both a Diablo game and a mobile game, but Immortal offers little that is bold, ambitious or innovative. Instead, its structure and pacing is designed with one goal in mind: to squeeze as much cash out of every player as it can. [Issue#374, p.110]

It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
