I just created this profile to show my disdain of this game. I cannot belobe what Blizzard is doing. This game went to hell and hopefully will come back. This must be some sort of psychological test - otherwise I can’t explain this piece of trash

You have to have Elon Musk as your dad to complete the game. Blizzard Entertainment is only greedy for money and will surely ruin many people who are prone to gambling addiction. The old Blizzard Entertainment is dead, the new Blizzard Entertainment is only out for money, the players don't matter.

The tutorial is friendly to me as a new game player, and I really like the graphics. The tutorial is not that hard at all, I basically get how it works as I finished the guide haha. Even if you haven't got a chance to get to know the background, you can still enjoy the game and have some fun playing the game.

It is P2W and is full of gambling mechanics, I like the Diablo IP but this game just isn't for me.

Although Immortal was accused of a 'cost too much' 'money-grabbed game', this game is absolutely worth a try. I just played it for a whole day and I am truly addictive into it. I hope there will be more gameplays in the future. I can play it FOREVER!!!

Let's be very clear - Blizzard has intentionally designed Diablo Immortal to generate revenue using psychological manipulation and abusive tactics. This game should be illegal. The executives who green lit this game should be fired and the developers and team members who worked on this game should be ashamed of themselves. There is no moral justification to design a game in this way. The game has horrendous abusive microtransactions which psychologically coerce the player into spending more money consciously and subconsciously.

It's really a shame because the game is really fun, but nearly all of that potential is completely wasted when you have no hope to compete or enjoy yourself being bullied by the game to spend more money.

Trying to exploit kids for cash. Looks free but actually costs more than all of the games in your library combined to finish. I hope blizzard changes path.

Absolute garbage, predatory pay to win trash game! Activision Blizzard would have to pay me money to play this game.

I downloaded the game and gave a try after reading an article that comments it is just a RNG game. Well, that article couldn't be more wroing. I'd have to admit that the graphics are so nice! I can play it fluently. Every detail is great in game and the graphics are in high resolution which is insanely amazing!

Apparently there're some news that the Immortal has depressed some 'Diablo fans'. As a fan of its series, I think it's defenitely worth a try! It's exactly what I expected. It supports gamepad! That’s so cool!

The game it’s self isn’t bad. It feels like Diablo 3 and I like that I can play it on both my phone and my computer. But it’s missing a lot of key things, like cross server play and an option to hide your helm. Why is the character creation so expansive when you never get to see your character’s face?
Then we get to the nitty gritty of the P2W aspect. I’m only level 20 and it’s already

Then we get to the nitty gritty of the P2W aspect. I’m only level 20 and it’s already getting too complicated with all the store stuff it’s throwing at me. Elder Rift face things, login rewards, multilayered “battle passes” and “bonus loot” costs, cosmetic items being suggested from your inventory, countless different currencies for everything… it’s just ridiculous. Either adopt a purchase base/expansion model to unlock everything like Diablo 1/2/3, or a small monthly fee to unlock everything. Not all this predatory bombardment crap it’s beating us over the head with. I get that it needs to make money to keep going, but this is just absurd. I’m willing to pay, but not hundreds to thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars for a mobile game.

I have played and enjoyed several gacha games to date. Without a doubt I can say blizzard took the worst path a gacha game can take, pay to win with equipment. And these are usually only PvE gacha games, Blizzard for some crazy reason decided to take it a step further and do this in a game with heavy PvP. It doesn't even give a player the option to catch up with x number of months/years, you literally will never be anywhere near competitive without shelling out absurd amounts of $$$.

I know each Blizzard release has been gradually getting worse since Hearthstone released, but holy crap Blizzard, just dissolve your company already, there is practically no brand name value left.

Disgusting psychologically manipulative game designed around preying on those with no self spending control. You could easily spend $100k+ and still have things you need. Or maybe you want to play 2 characters to the max, that's another $100k please.

Hot Garbage. Gameplay is actually good but monetization is way too aggressive, turning the game into flat-out p2w. Definitely made for the Asian market and it will probably die soon in the West.

Most predatory p2w game I have ever seen, which is truly a wonder considering how the app store is full of thousands of apps with predatory IAPs. Blizzard clearly no longer has any concern for saving its reputation.

Monetization is such an insult to players. The gameplay is so fun, but every time I play I have a bad taste in my mouth because I know if I don’t shell out a ton of cash I will be screwed.

Pretty good for a mobile game, resembles the original (D2; maybe a bit too vivid colours). I like the voice acting and story, but I dislike the aggressive manipulative monetization. A Diablo game being Pay2Win? I don't like that at all, I was, probably naively, expecting a bit more from Blizzard. I guess it's true the Blizzard has lost its soul...

its a really good game but the MASSIVE negative on this game is it is a pay-to-win not even pay-to-progress faster which I could have turned a blind on. The thing is I was expecting that the cash grab on this game was just for cosmetics but NOOOOO man oh man you really cant compete with the WHALES here. But what do you expect they did partner with a Chinese Slot Machine Company (NETEASE).

They may kinda be the creators of arpg but they have most definitely destroyed their own legacy, discussed, I will never spend money on any Activision Blizzard title ever again, glad I am on Xbox hope the purchase will change Theis money whores company.

CODM is perfectly monitized and here I was always thinking that Activision was the cash cows back when they were selling Destiny in full

The game is actually really good. Good game mechanics and story.
However, the real reason I'm giving this game a "0" instead of a 9 or a 10 is the extreme monetization.
After the first clear of every dungeon, you're presented with a one-time "discounted" bundle that you can buy. Every ingame store purchase is per character, and not account. If you get the premium battlepass on one char,

After the first clear of every dungeon, you're presented with a one-time "discounted" bundle that you can buy.
Every ingame store purchase is per character, and not account. If you get the premium battlepass on one char, and roll an alt, you don't have the premium battlepass on that new char.
Cosmetics are the same, PER CHARACTER.
However, the biggest issue is the whole ordeal with Legendary Crests, that is used to "guarantee" a legendary drop from Elder Rifts. You can use up to 10 of these crests per run. Every Legendary Crest costs 160 Eternal Orbs (one of many currencies in the game, though this is the "premium" one).
Legendary Crests boost the loot, so that you have a CHANCE of getting a ?/5 star legendary gem.
Even if you spend thousand of dollars, you're never guaranteed a 5/5 star gem.
And for a "free to play" player, you're most likely never able to get one 5/5 star gem.
Wyatt Cheng don't see the legendary gems as "gear", but they are the main power-boost of the gear.
A free player will have to spend years to get to the same level as a paying player is today.
I don't mind cosmetics being bought for money, but when you can get a direct power-increase by opening your wallet? That makes the game Pay2Win.
Another thing that's bad about the game, is that you're not allowed to level too fast. If you're over the server paragon level, you get reduced XP gains, 80% or even lower, depending on how much over the server paragon you are.
Unless Blizzard change the monetization, I don't see this game being around for long.

Blizzard should be absolutely ashamed at what they’ve become. They’ve successfully ran almost every one of their IPs into the ground.

Diablo immortal is no exception. The microtransactions are shameless.

I'm bothered by the bland story of the world's destruction, which was vehemently influenced by the online nature and spirit of the game or the inability to change the camera. The game looks and runs very well, and you can also adjust the graphics settings on more powerful devices. I'd leave the disdain for the online elements of Diablo Immortal to the eternally doubting and overlooking, because just as you can recognize a good poem, you can recognize a fundamentally good game. To see it submit to mobile gaming's worst tendencies, rather than make any effort to be different, to be better, is galling. It may be flashy and efficient as both a Diablo game and a mobile game, but Immortal offers little that is bold, ambitious or innovative. Instead, its structure and pacing is designed with one goal in mind: to squeeze as much cash out of every player as it can. [Issue#374, p.110]

It is undeniable that Diablo Immortal's monetization system has problems and makes the more advanced stages of the adventure unpleasant, but the fact remains that the Blizzard title has brought one of the best experiences in the action RPG field to the mobile market, and it really is difficult to find on the App Store and Google Play Store another free to play with such high production values. Diablo Immortal is an excellent pastime for those who want to complete the long cooperative campaign and, above all, could represent the perfect entry point for those who have never approached the series: even without putting their wallet in, in fact, it remains a pleasant adventure to live while waiting for the fourth chapter to make its debut on the shelves.
