    At the dawn of 2004 not enough time has passed for this to be a retro title and now it just feels out of date. I also suppose that if it were budget priced at $19.99 and a player who was curious about the Resident Evil franchise wanted to pick it up, I'd recommend it. But at $39.99... I can't do that.

    It's still a solid game if you've never played it before, with a stirring storyline and a few shocks, but otherwise it's just the same old Evil.

    In the end, it's almost physically painful to try to wade through this game, especially if you've already played it in its previous incarnations.

I love this series to death. This is the worst installment in the series and the only one I hate. I hated the original Code veronica, so this one is no different. Zombies take, what? 9 shots to kill? Healing items are very scarce The shotgun doesn't 1 hit, unless you shoot the head. The heads dont blow off! Back tracking x10000! Seekers. So frustrating! The good: Steve is hella funny Tons of varied weapons I only played it to get more of the Resident Evil plotline. Play it if you want, or else just read the Resident evil History.… Full Review »
