A battery save would have been the icing on this otherwise delicious six-layer cake. However, even without it, Arcade Advanced is an excellent example of how a retro compilation should be done.

Konami didn't cheap out and quickly port six games to the system. They actually went the extra mile and included extras that gamers will enjoy discovering.
  3. The selection in this game compilation is strong. There are no fillers included here and some of the more advanced titles (Rush'n Attack, Yie Ar Kung Fu) could be repackaged all by themselves.
  4. The ability to play as Chain, Buchu, Star, Blues, and the rest of the Yie Ar Kung-Fu gang is enough on its own to make this cart a must-have.

The one problem I have with this package, overall, is that high scores aren't kept when you turn the GBA off. [June 2002, p.87]
