Aug 11, 2019Aunque me parece bastante interesante que esto este en la GBA junto con un divertido modo multijugador, las caídas de FPS, la mala calidad del sonido, los controles y el tamaño de los mapas hacen que este juego sea una catástrofe total.

May 11, 2023Duke makes it to Nintendo's handheld with Duke-isms largely intact, but the levels are simplified and sprites turn into a jumble of blocky pixels if they get too close. Not a bad attempt considering the hardware limitations but Doom made the transition far more intact.

This game has tons of action, blasting away at alien scum, and won't get beaten in the course of a couple of hours. It's definitely one of the deeper ones out there.

For the most part, the look of the game is very clean. Unlike "DOOM," which could be occasionally muddy and hard on the eyeballs, the levels in Advance tend to be bright and easy to maneuver.

As of right now, you can't find a better handheld shooter than Duke Nukem's first GBA adventure.
