Summary: Sit back and enjoy the trip we've got planned for you. We're going to start in Toronto with Val Venis and Trish Stratus. As Val and Trish leave Toronto, John Cena arrives to throw out the first pitch at a Blue Jays game. And later on, Mick Foley tells us why he left the WWE and why he returned after a 19 month layoff.
Let's start withSit back and enjoy the trip we've got planned for you. We're going to start in Toronto with Val Venis and Trish Stratus. As Val and Trish leave Toronto, John Cena arrives to throw out the first pitch at a Blue Jays game. And later on, Mick Foley tells us why he left the WWE and why he returned after a 19 month layoff.
Let's start with Mick Foley... Foley spoke about wrestling and writing a book and he said they are no different. Tietam Brown, the story was in his mind a good year before he wrote it. It's about a very confused and sensitive young man whose father reenters his life after an absence of 17 years. It's about the slow building of this unique father/son relationship. Ultimately, it's about a father who tries to battle with his daemons and doesn't fare well with it. Those in the writing industry were pleased with Foley's writing and some said that there was so much feeling in the book, which made for the better. Once Foley got the swing of working with a fine editor, he thrived. Foley pointed out that not everybody is going to understand his book. It's like the WWE, where some people think that it's the greatest thing on earth while others are going to wonder what the fuss is. A woman in the writing industry stated that you will be changed by reading this book.
John Cena throws out the first pitch:
Last week, John Cena had the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a Blue Jays game from the Toronto Skydome and the Blue Jays opponents? None other than Cena's home team, the Red Sox.
