Summary: John Payne, Dr. Jeff Bernstein, Charlie Montoya and Kami Lis returned to compete for the $500,000 prize and title of champion, having won their semi-final matches. Tony Duong also returned, having won a draw of those who placed third, fourth and fifth in the semi-finals. Early action seemed to favor the dealer, with several players well below the original bankroll after around eight hands. Tony Duong busted out of the ninth hand, leaving only four to compete. As the action continued, Kami Lis found herself falling behind. She lost to the knockout card in Hand 20, leaving John, Dr. Jeff and Tony in the match.
