Summary: The premiere episode of the season features reigning champion Ken Einiger against four new faces to the tournmaent. Tommy (Ray) Dyer qualified at the Cherokee casino in Oklahoma. Sheila Taylor is a Grandma who qualified at the Isle of Capri Biloxi casino. John Grannis is one of two players this season who qualified through an AOLThe premiere episode of the season features reigning champion Ken Einiger against four new faces to the tournmaent. Tommy (Ray) Dyer qualified at the Cherokee casino in Oklahoma. Sheila Taylor is a Grandma who qualified at the Isle of Capri Biloxi casino. John Grannis is one of two players this season who qualified through an AOL tournament. Finally, Paul "The Assassin" Haas qualified at Mystic Lake. The action is marked by initial small bets from champion Einiger, with some large betting from Paul Haas that nearly knocks him out of the tournament. He makes a big recovery and later finds himself in a strong position. The dynamic of the game is also affected by two new elements added for this season --- the Knockout Card and the Burger King Power Chip. The Knockout Card adds a new element by "knocking out" the player with the least amount of chips at the end of the next hand. (Assuming someone doesn't go out.)
