Better then expected, sure there are some flaws, the Addams dont always feel like Addams and a bit to much modern politics afflicts the show but in the big whole so is it an entertaining piece of media.

A very enjoyable teen thriller/horror TV series with the Addams Family. It's like a darker version of Harry Potter. The acting is great, and the story is intriguing. It's generally a very fun TV show. Hope to see season 2.

Although Wednesday has some woke content in its content, that can easily beFinally Netflix presents us with a TV show that is actually good and sometimes great, which is amazing considering the line of bad TV shows of the past few years. Although Wednesday has some woke content in its content, that can easily be ignored seeing it doesn't really matter in face of the actual story.

The story although good and interesting enough, if the viewer is already used to crime solving mysteries then you like me by episode 5 you'll already have guessed who are the real villains and what their end goal is. With episode 7 just confirming what you had already figured out.

So the story of this show will only surprise those new or not accustomed to solving crime mysteries.

As for the characters themselves, Jenna Ortega was definitely the perfect choice to portray Wednesday. Although she has to keep a stoic look, she still manages to convey the right emotions through her eyes alone. Something that only shows how Jenna Ortega has a brilliant future as an actress.

But Jenna Ortega doesn't carry the movie all by herself. Wednesday is basically a black wall, and without characters like Enid, Xavier, Tyler, Weems, and even Bianca that wall would have little to show. It's those characters that give Wednesday the necessary color variety to make her as interesting as she is.

Jenna Ortega is brilliant at her role but so is Emma Myers. Seeing it mostly falls upon Enid to show the challenges, trials and tribulations of adolescence transitioning into adulthood.

Although Wednesday also evolves, adapts and learns, the true emotional load was placed on Enid and she carried with perfection.

Overall Wednesday is a good show with some great moments. It's not without flaws, and it gets too much predictable. But it's fun to watch and it does have enough pros to counter the cons.… Expand

A Netflix show with a female lead, I can honestly say, I did not expect much. But I was really surprised how much I actually enjoyed it. But I was really surprised how much I actually enjoyed it. Simply said, it has some flaws, but it is overall great entertainment with an amazing Jenna Ortega as the centerpiece of the show.

Wednesday is a nice amalgamation of Adams Familiy, Harry Potter, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Buffy, with a healthy dose of Tim Burton. It is well made, the story is good with some nice twists, it has a great cast, visuals are mostly stunning due to filming on location and a great soundtrack.

On the downsight, it is somewhat generic. A few plot points feel drawn out or neglected and not every twist is really that surprising. Definitely looking forward to season 2!… Expand

Sin ser gran fan de la familia Addams el spin off me llamaba mucho la atención y he de decir que fue una propuesta muy interesante. En cuanto a la dirección y el trabajo audiovisual, cámaras, color, vestuario, música, etc. la serie esSin ser gran fan de la familia Addams el spin off me llamaba mucho la atención y he de decir que fue una propuesta muy interesante. En cuanto a la dirección y el trabajo audiovisual, cámaras, color, vestuario, música, etc. la serie es impecable, cada episodio es muy agradable a la vista y al oído y se siente coherente entre sí, es fácil seguir lo que está ocurriendo en pantalla y te vende el mundo que rodea Nevermore de forma excelente.

Ahora, saliendo de los aspectos técnicos, la trama realmente funciona para engancharte y hacerte sospechar de todos los personajes durante el transcurso de la serie, pero no parece entregar nada nuevo y por alguna razón siento que le falto creatividad, no digo esto diciendo que sea mala, simplemente esperaba algo más.

Lo que realmente siento empuja totalmente esta serie es el cast, sus personajes y el desarrollo e interacciones entre estos, cada individuo era único e interesante, te genera verdadera curiosidad descubrir más sobre cada estudiante, profesor y padre en la serie, creo que no es necesario explicar que el trabajo de Jenna Ortega como Wednesday fue perfecto, personificó a la hija Addams tal como se esperaba y le dio vida a un personaje que no necesariamente evoca mucha vida como tal. Personajes como Enid, Tyler, Xavier, Weems, Bianca y la propia familia Addams no se quedan atrás, siento que el 90% del enganche de esta serie son sus personajes y eso está bien, me dan ganas de verlos a futuro en tramas más complejas y profundas que lo que se vio esta temporada.

Una idea interesante y, por suerte, bien ejecutada. Una historia en un mundo lleno de vida y personajes de los que querrás saber más y más.… Expand

Jenna Ortega is excellent as Wednesday and the rest of the cast, with only a couple of exceptions, are good too. The writing is well above average compared to almost every show and movie from the past decade. There’s actual character development. And of course the directing is great. Even the woke elements are speckled in naturally instead of being shoved down your throat. Also, it’s an actual mystery story instead of a story filled will mystery boxes. I didn’t know there were any decent writers left in the entertainment industry.… Expand

Fun enjoyable show. Jenna Oretga carries this show. Love the new take for the millennium. Gwendolyn Christi is just as fantastic. Christina Ricci and Catherine Zeta-Jones are always a delight. treat your self.

Think the CW when it didn't suck. Dumb fun, good for a while. Surprisingly unfunny but with great acting from lead Jenna. The CGI is so bad it's painful but it's only a few scenes. If there ever is a second season, I don't think I'd watch it.

The series primarily attracts its attention by being directed and sprodussed by Tim Burton. Its influence on the series is felt everywhere and this Wednesday compares favorably with most modern youth series. I would like to compare Wednesday with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and The Umbrella Academy. But these two series have long been rotten. And I really want to believe that Wednesday will not give up also for the second season. Of course, Wednesday compares favorably with other series primarily because there are not so many and there were good series in 2022, well, unless 1899 comes to mind. The conclusion of the first season in the best traditions of Netflix is abrupt and clumsy. But for the first season it's not bad in general, I'm waiting for season 2… Expand

Dedos es una gran mascota para la serie y los personajes secundarios son bastante buenos, siendo bastante diversos sin ser puestos de una forma forzada en pantalla.

Absolutamente una gran serie de misterio, pero igual con excelentes escenas de acción.… Expand

Вообще, на этот раз к актёрскому составу претензий почти не было. Не очень понравился актер играющий Гомеса Аддамса. Да, лучше Рауля Хулиа, Гомеса не будет! А вот исполнитель роли дяди Фестера, великолепен!
Очень понравилась история, достаточно запутанная. Держит интригу. Я про сериал нигде не читал, так что для меня загадка висела достаточно долго.
Неплохая анимация, её немного, но она есть.
Чуточку расстроил финальный босс и вообще финал. Какой то скомканный. Могли бы этому "главному пилигриму" побольше времени отвести. Ещё не показали как Энид обратно в человека превратилась, хотелось бы на неё посмотреть. ;'-D
Ну и куда ж без лгбтк-повесточки. У одного из персонажей две мамы-лесбиянки. И их даже показали. Вот не знаю зачем? Взяли и плюхнули посреди неплохого сериала, эту кучку дерьма. Зачем?!! Зла не хватает.
Ещё, почему актер Дуэн играет избранника Уэнздей? Ведь он открытый гей, да ещё вышел замуж за мужика в реальной жизни. Это как то не правильно с точки зрения нынешней толерантности. Вы не находите?
Короче Netflix попытались создать свой Хогвартс, ну что ж для сериала не плохо.
Совет тем кто вообще с семейкой Аддамсов не знаком, поглядеть фильмы 1991 и 93 годов. А то, не совсем понятно будет.
Смотреть советую. Но помните, что это всё таки фильм для молодых людей, просто иногда не всё совсем логично. У Бёртона это не редкость. Ещё если будете смотреть совсем с детьми, то сценку с лесби-мамашами лучше вырезать или перемотать. Что б не возникало лишних вопросов.… Expand
