    We were disappointed as we found the plot confusing and less than credible. It was not helped by the commercial breaks of course. The acting was fair but we keep coming back to the writing and probably the directing. Plot and sequencing were weak and I feel sure the director should have been able to encourage the cast to be more believable, with a few exceptions. We have recently viewed Happy Valley 3 so the competition was very stiff. We rated that as 10/10. We would not be tempted to see another series of Unforgotten.… Expand

    [Detective Chief Inspector Jessica James'] underlings call her ma’am (“mum” in the British pronunciation) but she tells them “guv” will suffice. The show could use more of that dry humor.
